The modem society has been talked as the age of uncertainty, the age discontinuity and the information society. The future society is forcasted the creativity society. Both the achievement motive and the creativity be suggested as an important factors to accomplish the individual goals and organizational performance. The achievement motive has the major implications in increasing the level of achievement motive between high and low creative group. The employee creativity is the emergence in action of a novel relational product, growing out of the uniqueness of the individual on the hand, and materals, events people or cirumstances of his life on the other. It has been treated as an impotant factor to solve the complex management ploblems for the management. The major purpose of this study are (1) to review the theory of an achievement motivation and the creativity, (2) to provide both management and scholars with the practical and useful implications on the development of the employee cretivity in improving the management performance.
The objective of this study were to examine the relationships between clothing design preference, clothing attitude and sex role identity. Using the data collected through interview questions. 200 subjects who were 60years of age and older in Kunsan, Korea, the data were analyzed using $X^2$-test. The results of the study were the followings. 1. The androgynous type liked two button single jacket and the masculine and indifferentiate type three button single jacket, while the femin type liked soutien collar jacket in their woman. 2. The androgynous type' purchase motive was 'enough money' 'finding like clothing' while the masculine type's 'to attend meeting'. The feminine type's motive was 'enough money' and the indifferentiate type 'to attend meeting'. Clothing selection motive was more influenced the androgynous type than the feminine and indifferentiate type by 'design'. 3. The androgynous type felt 'indifferent' for dare clothing of the aging, the masculine type 'hate', the feminine type 'I like to', and the indifferentiate type 'look so good'.

The purpose of the study was to explore differences in perceived importance among factors of motives for participating in outdoor sports, product selection criteria of outdoor sportswear and store selection criteria, and in buying frequencies among store types and store locations. Another purpose was to find differences in importance of product selection criteria of outdoor sportswear and store selection criteria and in buying frequencies according to store types and store locations among groups according to motives for participation in outdoor sports. The questionnaire was developed by the researcher and was collected by 221 women aged between 40 and 59. The questionnaire was composed of four parts including participation motives, store selection criteria, and product selection criteria measured by Likert type scale, and demographic characteristics measured by nominal scale. Data were analyzed by frequency test, factor analysis, repeated measure ANOVA, Bonferroni adjusted t-test, cluster analysis by Ward method, ANOVA and Tukey's test as a post-hoc test. The results of the study showed that middle-aged women rated health improvement motive as the most important factor for participating in outdoor sports. Among product selection criteria, comfort was the most important, and among store selection, personal selling was the most important. Among store types, buying frequency in off-price store was the highest and among store locations, buying frequency in stores in a residential area was the highest. Moreover, three groups were classified according to motives for participation in outdoor sports: the health improvement motive group, the conspicuous/sociable motive group, the lower motive group The health improvement motive group rated comfort as the most important factor for product selection criteria, and showed the highest buying frequency in downtown stores. Conspicuous/sociable motive groups valued design and utilization for an everyday wear and shopped more frequently in specialty store and/or in downtown stores.

Korean students ranked the 3rd out of 32 participating countries in the first cycle of PISA(Programme for International Student Assessment) science field, which assessed 15-years-old students' scientific literacy. PISA developed several variables such as parents' socio-economic status, parents' educational attainment, family wealth, and cultural possession, to investigate the effects of background variables on scientific literacy. On the other hand, motivation and engagement in science study were not given much attention, partly because science was the minor area in the first cycle of PISA. Therefore, PISA Korea developed a series of variables to collect data on students' learning motives and out-of-school activities in science as a national option. The results are as followings. First, Korea was found to be one of the PISA participating countries with the scientific literacy achievement least influenced by parents' socio-economic status, family wealth, and parents' cultural possession. Second, the degree of achievement in scientific literacy according to parents' educational attainment was in a positive correlation, similar to the overall tendency of PISA. Third, the most crucial learning motive for Korean students was their desire to develop scientific thinking abilities or obtain science knowledge. On the other hand, choosing jobs in the field of science or parental expectation was the least important learning motive. In particular, the motive for scientific learning was found to have a positive relationship with the degree of scientific literacy achievement. Therefore, the higher the students achievement, the stronger the motive for scientific learning in order to develop their ability to think scientifically or acquire science knowledge. Fourth, Korean students were shown to participate very little in out-of-school scientific activities other than watching TV programs related to science. Whatever the activities may be, the more actively involved students are in out-of-school scientific activities, the higher their scientific literacy achievement. Fifth, Korean girls were rather passive compared to boys in all areas, including science learning motive and out-of-school scientific activities. The gender difference was especially more pronounced in out-of-school scientific activities with wider gaps in such activities as reading scientific books or articles and visiting science-related web sites.
This study investigated experimentally how factors of SNS advertising attribute impact on advertising likeability and purchase intention according to use motive and use intensity of SNS. Firstly showing difference according to use motive of SNS, in user of motive to managing human relation, reliability of advertising contents has effect the largest and entertainment of advertising interest has effect also as important factor. In user of motive to sharing interest information, irritation of advertising on using SNS has effect the largest negatively and information of advertising's information offering capability has effect larger as positive factor. Next showing difference according to use intensity of SNS, in user of high intensity, reliability and information of advertising contents has effect larger than other factors. In user of low intensity, irritation of advertising has effect the largest negatively and other factors have effect very small. This results can provide a practical contribution that explains important factors in producing effective SNS advertising according to using behavior characteristics of SNS.
In this research, by yearly subdividing and analyzing the characteristic of the embroidery design according to the garment item with a season the high value added is raised for a differencing and high performance conversion of the high fashion design and there is an object. In 2004, when the total 474 chapter was selected in S/S season till F/W season in 2008 and the embroidery design characteristic according to the kind of an item the analyzing method and statistical method was used. As to the first, and the embroidery design in which it follows of the garment item showed the stylized, and the plant motive of the geometric pattern by an edge and composite arrangement in an one-piece and blouse with the satin stitch and cut work technique. This study has a blog usage experience with china netizen. We found the impact that blog usage motive, usage type, blog involvement and political-society disposition influence on a moral recognition with a blog activity. Results were as follows: First, A blog usage motive appeared seven, self-expressive and informational search motives were revealed that we had an influence on moral recognition of blog activity. Second, they had the difference in a blog usage motive according to a blog involvement and blog involvement reveled that we had an influence on moral recognition of blog activity. Third, the society involvement disposition of china netizen had an influence on moral recognition of blog activity, it effects on significantly social motivation of blog usage. The implication of this study is a follows. We verified the blog usage motive, type, blog involvement and society involvement disposition are important elements which understand a blog activity. Finally, we confirmed that psychological and social motive related to moral recognition of blog activity.
This study was conducted to identify the effect of motive for major selection, major satisfaction on the nursing career commitment among senior nursing students. Data were collected from 215 nursing students and analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Scheffé test, Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis by SPSS ver. 29.0. As a result of this study, There were positive correlations between motive for major selection(r=.41, p<.001), major satisfaction(r=.35, p<.001), and nursing career commitment. The predictor on nursing career commitment was motive for major selection, explaining 39.4% (F=18.40, p<.001) of the variance. In conclusion, Through this study we found that motive for major selection has the greatest impact on nursing career commitment, it is necessary to seek educational new programs and curricula to develop nursing student's nursing career commitment.

The purpose of this research is to find factors that affect high school science teachers' class compositions. In this research, we developed the class composing factor analysis framework and we observed teachers' class to figure out the class composing factors. The results from this research were as follows: First, the class composing factor was classified with 'positive motive factor' and 'negative motive factor'. It is the positive motive factor that teachers' voluntary motives operate to teacher for class compositions. It is the negative motive factor that outer demands operate to teacher for class compositions. Second, both positive and negative motive factors were shown in all the steps, which included preparing a class, progressing a class, and after a class. Also, according to the circumstances, each factor changed. Minimizing and overcoming negative motive factors will lead to positive interaction between the teacher and students. It will also increase a teachers' achievements in class and maximize the effectiveness of class. Therefore, it is expected that this will be a great help for teachers to enhance their teaching professionalism.
Purpose - Present research aimed at identifying the effects of ambient pride type on judgement difference between existing preference and final preference formed after being exposed to the preference inconsistent information from others representing a conflict between consumer's own perspective and the others' perspective. And this study also explored the roles of empathic concerns and motive type in the ambient pride type's effects on the judgement difference. Research design, data, and methodology - 2(information type: consistent versus inconsistent) × 2(pride type: hubristic versus authentic) between-subjects design was employed. Data for empirical analysis were from 252 undergraduate students who participated in questionnaire survey. To verify hypotheses, Anova and regression analysis were used. Results - First, there was the judgement difference among the experimental groups. The difference was greater at the authentic pride group than at the hubristic pride group. And the difference was greater at the inconsistent information group than at the consistent information group. The interaction effect of pride type and information type was significant. Second, when consumers who had made their preference were exposed to the inconsistent information from other, those of the hubristic pride group showed more defense motive and less empathic concerns than those of the authentic pride group. And there were the mediation roles of the empathic concerns and the interaction roles of the motive type in the effects of pride type on the judgement difference. Third, the self validity did not affect the difference even that become increased by defense motive rather than accuracy motive. Conclusions - This research could advance the information processing theory related to pride type by exploring the effects of the pride type on judgement difference between existing preference and final preference formed by the inconsistent information from others, and by identifying the mediation roles of the empathic concerns and the interaction roles of the motive type in the effects of the pride type. In view of the results from current study, marketers should make efforts of inducing defense motive and developing and communicating the consistent information to persuade consumers under hubristic pride who have the belief that attributes of their brand are better than those of the competitors' brand, and they also should conduct marketing acts by using the inconsistent information to persuade consumers under authentic pride who have the belief that attributes of the competitors' brand are better than those of their brand.
