분무유동에서 입경 계측기법의 개발 (Development of Droplet Sizing Technique in Spay Flow)

  • Recently, fire extinguishing systems based on water mists have been attracting public attentions in marine engineering. Performance of fire extinguishing systems is very strongly influenced by the size and distribution of spayed water mists. Therefore, the present study has developed droplet analyzing method based on image processing. The morphological technique based on partial curvature information of pre-processed images with relaxation method was adopted for recognition and separation of overlapped particles. Tested results showed that the present method may be reliable for the analysis of the size and distribution of droplets in spray flow of fire extinguishing systems based water mists.

  • The wear particles is released from the moving surfaces in gear systems of transmission and its morphology is directly related to the damage and failure to gear system from which the particles originated. It is the effective method for damage condition estimation of automobile transmission gear to observe wear debris in gear oil. We tested with new transmission and took out gear oil according to driving distance. To be applied to damage condition of gear system in transmission of automobile,4 shape parameters of wear particles in gear oil were calculated and wear volume were presumed with the image processing system.

  • Under a continuous manufacturing process, two dimension inspection system causes problems as blurring effect and low resolution and requires position calibration between frames. One dimension inspection system is, therefore, being researched as a substitution. In this paper, we implement mechanism of switching memory and processing data for reasonable one dimension inspection system. Redundant weft image and noise was suggested to be reduced by new method using modified morphological process and masked erosion process. From resulting image, line data and possible error information were obtained and constructed as a structure. Finally, error detecting algorithm was performed with this data structure. Processing time of error detecting was 0.625ms per line in applied system and experiment showed 94.7% of error detecting ability. This method is 20% faster in speed and 2.7% higher in error detecting ability comparing with the present method.

  • The fractal dimension aims to quantitatively define the irregular characteristics of the shape in nature. It can be useful in describing morphological characteristics of various wear particles. This paper was undertaken to diagnose failure condition for sliding members in lubrication using fractal dimension. The experiments were undertaken to analyze the shape of wear particles and to diagnose failure condition for sliding members in lubrication using the image processing and the fractal parameters. It was possible to diagnose wear mechanism, friction, and damage state of machines through analysis of shape characteristics for wear particle in driven condition using fractal parameters.

  • 전자도서관과 같은 정보제공원은 이미지, 음성, 동영상 등과 같은 비정형 멀티미디어 데이터 서비스에 대한 요구를 받고 있다. 그리하여 본 연구에서는 음성 처리를 위해 어절생성기, 음절복원기, 형태소분석기, 교정기를 제안하였다. 제안한 음성처리 기술로 음성데이터베이스를 텍스트데이터베이스로 변환 한후 텍스트데이터베이스로부터 색인데이터베이스를 추출하였다. 그리고 추출한 색인데이터베이스로 텍스트와 음성의 내용기반정보검색에 활용할 수 있음을 보이기 위해 정보검색모델을 제안하였다.

  • The studies on gram size refinement for rheocast processing of hypereutectic Al-18%Si alloys have been investigated in the present study. To increase the efficiency of mechanical stirring, sieve type stirrer are newly designed and implemented for rheocasting of hypereutectic Al-18%Si alloy. Mechanical stirring of semi-solid slurry by using sieve type mechanical stirrer results in morphological changes of the primary Si particles, from angular rod shape to near spherical shape and uniform distribution of proeutectic Si. The remarkable spheroidization of Primary Si Particles and distributional uniformity of proeutectic Si show well the efficiency of sieve type mechanical stirring method which can accelerate the coalescence-fracture-wear of the individual particles by strong turbulent flow between lattices during rotation of sieve type stirrer.

  • In this paper we present the multi-agent robot system and the vision system developed for participating in micro robot soccer tournament. The multi-agent robot system consists of micro robot, a vision system, a host computer and a communication module. Micro robot are equipped with two mini DC motors witf encoders and gearboxes, a R/F receiver, a CPU and infrared sensors for obstacle detection. A vision system is used to recognize the position of the ball and opponent robots, position and orientation of our robots. The vision system is composed of a color CCD camera and a vision processing unit(AISI vision computer). The vision algorithm is based on morphological method. And it takes about 90 msec to detect ball and 3-our robots and 3-opponent robots with reasonable accuracy

  • The determination of surface morphology is believed to be extremely important in the areas of contact mechanics, adhesion and friction. In order to describe morphology of various rubbed surface, the wear test was carried out under different experimental conditions in lubricating wear. And fractal descriptors was applied to rubbed surface of hydraulic driving material with image processing system. These descriptors to analyze surface structure are fractal dimension. Surface fractal dimension can be determined by sum of intensity difference of surface pixel. Morphology of rubbed surface can be effectively obtained by fractal dimensions.

  • 스마트 디바이스가 대중화 되면서 각종 사건 사고에 대한 데이터가 SNS 상에 실시간으로 업데이트 된다. SNS의 이런 특성을 이용하여 이용자 개개인이 사고감지센서의 역할을 하면 빠른 사고감지가 가능하다. 하지만 기존 연구들은 단순히 키워드의 출현 빈도로 사고를 판단하는 방식과, 문법파괴 요소가 많은 트위터의 특성으로 인해 정확성에서 한계를 보인다. 본 연구에서는 사고감지의 정확도를 높이기 위해 형태소로 분석한 트윗을 벡터화하여 다층퍼셉트론신경망으로 학습시키는 모델을 구현하였다. 연구 결과 일반명사로 이루어진 40개의 단어를 사용했을 때 가장 높은 82.58%의 정확도를 얻었다.
