국부좌굴을 동반하는 원형강관 부재의 복원력 특성 (The Analysis of Local Buckling Behavior for Steel Circular Tubes)

  • In this paper, we work with steel circular tubes and propose analysis model which can consider local buckling that it has an effect on failure of steel structures and induce the relation between loading and deformation. First of all, in respect to axial symmetry local buckling, which is simplest case, elasto-plastic behavior acting only axial loads is object. Therefore, it suggests analysis model for axial symmetry local buckling. And that is explainable the process from increasing internal force to decreasing passing maximum internal force. Besides, we induce the relation between the axial force and axial deformation.

  • In this paper we propose Using Higher Order Neuron on the Supervised Learning Machine of the Kohonen Feature Map. The architecture of proposed model adopts the higher order neuron in the input layer of Kohonen Feature Map as a Supervised Learning Machine. It is able to estimate boundary on input pattern space because or the higher order neuron. However, it suffers from a problem that the number of neuron weight increases because of the higher order neuron in the input layer. In this time, we solved this problem by placing the second order neuron among the higher order neuron. The feature of the higher order neuron can be mapped similar inputs on the Kohonen Feature Map. It also is the network with topological mapping. We have simulated the proposed model in respect of the recognition rate by XOR problem, discrimination of 20 alphabet patterns, Mirror Symmetry problem, and numerical letters Pattern Problem.

초고속기용 열박음 로터 제작을 위한 로터의 치수에 따른 가열온도의 해석적 예측 (Analytical Prediction of Heating Temperature to Manufacture Rotor with Shrink Fit for Ultra High Speed Motor According to Change Dimension of Rotor)

  • This paper deals with shrink fit analysis of rotor by 2D cross-section, 2D axis-symmetry, and 3D FEM model. And this paper presents 2nd order approximation function of thermal expansion displacement by design variables (shape dimension, heating temperature, sleeve length, interference etc.), table of orthogonal array and RSM(response surface methodology). The possibility of the rotor with shrink fit is evaluated by thermal expansion displacement. If thermal expansion displacement is larger than interference, shrink fit enable to make the rotor. 2D axis-symmetry model and 3D model are more reasonable than 2D cross-section model, because stress and strain is different along length of shaft.

Flow structures around a three-dimensional rectangular body with ground effect

  • An experimental investigation of the flow over the rectangular body located in close proximity to a ground board was reported using the particle image velocimetry (PIV) technique. The present experiments were conducted in a closed-loop open surface water channel with the Reynolds number, $Re_H=1.2{\times}10^4$ based on the model height. In addition to the PIV measurements, flow visualization studies were also carried out. The PIV technique provided instantaneous and time-averaged velocity vectors map, vorticity contours, streamline topology and turbulent quantities at various locations in the near wake. In the vertical symmetry plane, the upperbody flow is separated from the sharp top leading edge of the model and formed a large reverse flow region on the upper surface of the model. The flow structure downstream of the model has asymmetric double vortices. In the horizontal symmetry plane, identical separated flow regions occur on both vertical side walls and a pair of primary recirculatory bubbles dominates the wake region.

Unification Model and Rayleigh Scattered Lyα in Active Galactic Nuclei

  • The unification model of active galactic nuclei invokes the presence of a thick molecular torus that hides the broad emission line region from a line of sight toward observers with low latitude. It is expected that the illuminated side of the molecular torus may be photodissociated by strong far UV radiation from the central AGN, forming an H I region with a high neutral column density. We propose that the Rayleigh scattering optical depth of this HI region can be significant for most broad $Ly{\alpha}$ line photons with the Doppler factor not exceeding 104 km s-1. Rayleigh scattered $Ly{\alpha}$ photons can be characterized by strong linear polarization depending on their scattering optical depth. We performed Monte Carlo simulations of polarized radiative transfer of $Ly{\alpha}$ adopting simple scattering geometries relevant to the unification model of AGN. We find that for a low torus the Rayleigh scattered $Ly{\alpha}$ is polarized in the direction parallel to the symmetry axis with the polarization degree dependent on wavelength. In the case of a high torus, the core part of $Ly{\alpha}$ is polarized in the direction perpendicular to the symmetry axis whereas the wing part is parallelly polarized. We conclude that careful spectropolarimetry around $Ly{\alpha}$ can be useful in testing the AGN unification model.

소성숏이 포함된 3차원 다중충돌 대칭-셀 해석모델을 이용한 면적평균 피닝잔류응력해 (Area-Averaged Solution of Peening Residual Stress Using a 3D Multi-impact Symmetry-cell FE Model with Plastic Shots)

  • 피닝잔류응력은 통상 XRD 실험법으로 측정되며, 다양한 X-선 조사면적들에서 면적평균해를 준다. 해석연구들 대부분 단일절점 해석해를 소개할 뿐 면적평균해를 전혀 고려하지 않고 있다. 따라서 XRD 실험해와 큰 차를 갖는 것은 자명하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 3차원 다중충돌 대칭-셀 모델을 활용해, 면적평균 피닝잔류응력해를 얻었다. 대칭-셀은 통합인자와 소성숏을 포함하며, 숏피닝 현상 들이 충분히 반영된다. 대칭-셀 A-D 네 충돌위치 에서 4-절점평균해를 얻었으며, 대칭-셀의 각 단면 ($0.4mm{\times}0.4mm$)에 포함된 전체절점에서 면적평균 해를 얻었다. 그리고 해석해들을 XRD 실험해와 비교했다. 소성숏 면적평균해가 4-절점평균해보다 XRD 실험해로의 근접성이 뛰어났다. 또한 양축 등가응력으로의 완벽한 수렴성을 보였다. 이로써 면적평균해에 기초한 유한요소 알멘선도를 구해, 유한요소 아크하이트, 유한요소 피닝커버리지 및 투사속도들간의 관계식들을 유도하였다. 유한요소 알멘선도는 김태형과 이형일이 정리한 실험적 알멘선도의 추이를 따랐으며, 그 유효성이 한층 향상됐다. 유도식들을 활용하여, 주요 피닝소재들 AISI4340, AISI4140, SPS8에서 유한요소 면적평균 해들을 얻고 XRD 실험해들과 비교했다. 피닝소재 모두에서 표면 및 최대압축잔류응력, 변형깊이가 실험해와 잘 일치하여, 피닝부품들의 잔류응력해 예측에 유한요소 알멘선도가 매우 유용함을 확인 했다. 이상과 같이 본 연구의 면적평균해가 실제 XRD 잔류응력 측정해를 매우 잘 따른다는 점에 주목되며, 궁극적으로 실재하는 숏피닝 잔류응력 평가를 위한 체계적인 해석방법임을 확인했다.

지분구조의 반복측정 자료에 대한 혼합모형 (A Mixed Model for Nested Structural Repeated Data)

  • 본 논문은 실험단위들의 구조적 특성으로 지분관계를 갖는 실험을 행해야 하는 경우를 가정한다. 지분계획하에서 처리를 구성하는 요인으로 반복측정 요인을 고려한다. 반복측정 요인의 수준들이 비확률화에 의해 지분구조의 실험단위들에 배정될 때, 비확률화에 따른 실험의 특성을 감안한 모형으로 복합대칭의 공분산 구조하에서 혼합효과 모형을 논의하고 있다. 처리의 일부 요인들이 시간 또는 공간상의 제약으로 인해 지분구조의 실험단위들에 임의적으로 배정될 수 없을 때, 지분구조의 실험단위들에 대한 반응 값들은 어떤 구조적 상관관계를 나타내는 값들로 관측될 수 있음을 예상할 수 있다. 자료의 구조적 상관성을 고려한 공분산 구조하의 선형모형으로 확률요인과 고정요인을 포함하는 혼합효과의 모형을 제시하고 모형내 미지모수들에 대한 추론방법을 다루고 있다.

통신서비스 웹사이트 정보불균형이 지속이용의도에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Information Asymmetry of Telecommunication Service Websites on Intention for Continuous Usage)

  • The communications market can be characterized for its overflow of users, oligopoly business structure, 24/7 open service, incomplete sales, and operation of core platform function. These characteristics have lead users to continuously make complaints and suffer inconveniences, and thus the concept of user protection has come to receive attention. This study aims to propose solutions through communication channeling between businesses and users, based on website construction from the viewpoint of user protection. In particular, a research model was developed to display how the information symmetry of websites can be influential on the satisfaction, reliability, and continuous intention for using communication services. Total of 14 hypotheses were set to measure a significant degree of variables corelation and eight hypotheses were accepted finally. The analysis results showed that information symmetry of telecommunication service websites had a positive effect on intention for continuous usage. Through the research results, it is expected that communication service businesses will be able to consider important factors when constructing websites. Furthermore, the results are expected to be utilized as for ensuring users' continued usage of their communication services.

  • In this paper, a two ports machine(TPM) model for discrete event dynamic systems(DEDS) is proposed. The proposed model is a finite state machine which has two inputs and two outputs. Inputs and outputs have two components, events and informations. TPM is different from other state machine models, since TPM has symmetric input and output. This symmetry enables the block diagram representation of the DEDS with TPM blocks, summing points, multiplying points, branch points, and connections. The graphical representation of DEDS is analogous to that of control system theory. TPM has a matrix representation of its transition and information map. This matrix representation simplifies the analysis of the DEDS.

정 20면체 쌍정의 전자회절 (Electron Diffraction of Icosahedral Twin)

  • 급냉 응고한 알루미늄-전이금속 합금으로부터 얻은 정 20면체상에 대한 쌍정 모델을 제시하였다. 이러한 쌍정모델을 이응하여 다중회절을 고려 한 전자 회절도를 계산하였다. 5회 대칭을 갖는 계산된 회절도는 실험에서 얻은 회절도와 잘 일치하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서 제시한 쌍정모델은 정 20면체상과 밀접한 연관이 있으리라 판단된다.
