인구 및 통근자 자료 분석을 통한 도시확산현상 및 지역 간 상호작용 검증 - 서울 대도시권을 중심으로 - (Investigation of Urban Sprawl and Interregional Interaction by Demographic and Commuting Data - The Case of Seoul Metropolitan Area -)

  • 서울시와 인천광역시, 그리고 경기도가 포함된 서울 대도시권에서는 1990년 이후 인구집중현상이 극심하게 나타나고 있으며, 특히 서울시의 인구억제정책에 따라 인천광역시 및 경기지역으로의 인구집중이 심화되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 세계의 대도시에서 공통적으로 나타나고 있는 도심공동현상의 확인을 위하여 서울 대도시권의 역사적인 인구자료를 분석하였고, 서울 대도시권의 확산패턴을 확인하기 위하여 인구자료로부터 산출한 순위변화지수(RMI: Rank Mobility Index)를 분석하였다. 또한 지역 간 상호작용 분석에 유용한 자료로서 최근 미국에서도 대도시를 정의하는 유일한 기준으로 사용될 만큼 그 중요도가 높아지고 있는 통근자 자료를 본 연구에서도 분석하였다. 인구 자료의 분석 결과, 서울시의 인구는 1990년 이래 정체현상을 보이고 있으나, 내부적으로는 외곽에 위치한 구 및 동으로의 편중현상을 나타냄이 확인되었다. 또한 순위변화지수의 분석으로 대규모 개발과 인프라 건설이 집중된 서울 이남지역을 위주로 서울 대도시권이 불균형적 확산을 지속하고 있음을 확인하였으며, 통근자 자료의 분석을 통하여 서울 주변지역의 자족성이 높아질수록 서울에 대한 의존도가 낮아짐을 확인하였다. 본 연구결과는 서울대도시권의 효율적인 계획 및 관리 정책 수립에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

강직성척추염과 관계된 측두하악관절장애에 대한 특수 운동치료의 효과 (Effect of Disease-Specific Exercise on Temporomandibular Joint Function and Neck Mobility in Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction Associated With Ankylosing Spondylitis)

  • The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of a disease-specific exercise (DSE) on temporomandibular joint (TMJ) function and neck mobility in TMJ dysfunction associated with ankylosing spondylitis (AS). Ten AS patients (seven males and three females) with TMJ dysfunction were recruited for this study. The DSE included exercises to correct head and neck posture and to improve the flexibility of the neck and TMJs. The patients attended treatment three times a week for 4 weeks, averaging 1 hour each session. Assessments were performed pretreatment, posttreatment, and 6 weeks after the completion of treatment. General physical status was assessed by four clinical measures (tragus-to-wall distance, modified Schober test, lumbar side flexion, and intermalleolar distance), the Bath ankylosing spondylitis function index (BASFI), and the Bath ankylosing spondylitis disease activity index. The main outcome measures included TMJ function (craniomandibular index (CMI)), and neck mobility (flexion, extension, rotation, and lateral rotation). None of the measures of general physical status, with the exception of BASFI, were significant1y different between the pretreatment, posttreatment, and 6-week follow-up (p>.05). However, CMI and all neck movements, except for extension, significant1y improved after the treatment (p<.05). These improvements were maintained during the follow-up period. The DSE used in the present study seems to be a clinical1y useful method for managing patients with symptoms from the stomatognathic system in AS. Further studies with more subjects and longer treatment times, including the follow-up period, will be conducted to validate these findings.

  • "교통약자의 이동편의 증진법"이 제정됨에 따라, 각 지자체에서는 교통약자의 이동권을 보장하고자 다양한 노력을 해오고 있다. 그러나, 지역여건 및 교통수단 특성 등 교통약자의 교통수단 도입과 관련한 주변 상황은 고려되지 않아 교통약자 이동편의 증진 시책은 그 실효성이 매우 미흡한 상태이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 부산광역시를 대상으로 행정동별 경사도와 저상버스 운행여건, 특별교통수단 이용실태 등 교통약자의 교통수단 이용특성을 고찰하였다. 또한, 교통약자의 교통수단 이동지수 개념을 도입하여 지역별 교통약자의 교통수단 이용여건을 수량화하여 비교분석함으로써 지역특성에 부합하는 교통약자의 교통수단 이용편의 증진방안을 제시하였다.

  • 최근 자율주행 기술이 상용화 단계로 접어들며, 자율주행기반 모빌리티 서비스를 제공하는 서비스 플랫폼이 늘어나고 있다. 현재 자율주행 기반 모빌리티 서비스들은 자율주행차량의 주행 성능과 기능에 초점을 맞추어 서비스를 제공하고 있으므로 모빌리티 수단별 교통수요와 통행 특성을 고려한 서비스 지역을 선정하는 데에 한계가 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 기존 모빌리티 서비스인 택시와 수요응답형 교통수단, 특별교통수단의 실제 교통 데이터를 활용하여 모빌리티 수단별 통행 특성을 분석하고 자율주행 적용 가능성을 검토한다. 이를 위해 모빌리티 서비스별 주요 사용 네트워크를 도출하고 전문가 조사를 기반으로 네트워크별 자율주행 난이도를 산정하여 모빌리티 서비스별 자율주행 적용 지수를 산출한다. 분석 결과, 수요가 분산된 형태의 모빌리티 서비스보다는 밀집된 형태의 서비스에서 자율주행 서비스 제공이 효율적인 것으로 확인된다. 또한 네트워크에 할당된 통행수요가 높고 자율주행 난도가 낮은 분포가 가장 큰 것은 특별교통수단으로 도출되었다.

  • The following statistics are the results of a survey that analyzed the classification of livestock area and spatial mobility based upon the number of livestock and an area of 151 towns and cities from 1975 to 1995. 1. As a results of analysis about the degree of location concentration using C.V., Korean native cattles (HanWoo) and swines are becoming more centralized while dairies and chickens are becoming decentralized. 2. 49 regions, that is 32.5%, were classified as growing regions, 30 regions (19.9%) were stagnant regions and 72 regions (47.7%) were withering regions. The classification was based upon the calculation according to the numbers of converted grown animals and growth index. Kyonggi-do and Chungchongnam-do, specifically, took up 26.6% and 24.5% of the developing regions which shows that these two regions are the dominant regions for livestock. 3. Kyongsangbuk-do and Chungchongnam-do play significant roles for overall livestock, and Chollanam-do is considering a transition from swines to Korean native cattles and Kyongsangbuk-do is shifting from Korean native cattles to swines.

스마트카드 자료를 활용한 서울시 대중교통 서비스 형평성 분석 - 취약계층 유형별 이동성을 중심으로 - (An Analysis on the Equity of Public Transit Service using Smart Card Data in Seoul, Korea - Focused on the Mobility of the Disadvantaged Population Groups -)

  • 본 연구는 2014년 스마트카드 데이터를 활용하여 장거리 통행에서 대중교통 의존도가 높은 교통 취약계층의 대중교통 이동성을 평가하는 것에 목적이 있다. 특히, 신체적인 문제나 제도적으로 대중교통수단을 선택하게 되는 교통약자(노인, 청소년)와, 경제적 여건으로 대중교통을 이용하여 통근통행을 하는 저소득층 인구를 중심으로 대중교통 이동성을 평가하였다. 또한, 서울시의 노인, 청소년, 기초생활수급자의 분포와 각 취약계층의 대중교통 이동성 수준을 함께 고려하여 각 취약계층의 대중교통 이동성 취약지를 식별하고, 이를 종합하여 대중교통 이동성 개선 우선 지역을 선정하였다. 분석 결과, 대중교통 이동성이 낮으며, 교통취약계층 인구가 많이 거주하고 있는 15개의 대중교통 우선 개선지역을 도출하였다. 본 연구는 개인의 실제 통행 데이터인 스마트카드 데이터를 이용하여 대중교통의 이동성을 평가한 점과 교통 취약계층의 기본적인 이동성을 위해 대중교통 서비스가 개선되어야할 대중교통 이동성 취약지를 식별하였다는 점에서 의의를 가진다.

등뼈 가동성 운동이 기계적 목통증 환자의 목등뼈부 기능 수준과 자세, 통증 수준에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Thoracic Mobility Exercise on Cervicothoracic Function, Posture and Pain in Individuals With Mechanical Neck Pain)

  • Background: Individuals with mechanical neck pain show biomechanical and neurophysiological changes, including cervical spine muscle weakness. As a result of deep muscle weakness, it causes stability disability and reduced upper thoracic spine mobility, which finally leads to functional movement restriction such as limited range of motion and dysfunction. Recent studies have shown that thoracic spine manipulation and mobilization could reduce symptoms of mechanical neck pain in patients. Objects: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of thoracic mobility exercise on cervicothoracic function, posture feature, and pain intensity in individuals with mechanical neck pain. Methods: The study subjects were 26 persons who were randomly assigned to the experimental (with thoracic mobility exercise) and control groups (without thoracic mobility exercise), with 13 subjects in each group. The cervicothoracic function (neck functional disability level and cervicothoracic range of motion), posture feature, and pain rating (using a quadrupled visual analogue scale [QVAS]) were measured before, after 3 weeks, and after 6 weeks. Results: Statistically significant group-by-time interactions were found with repeated analyses of variance for the Korean neck disability index (KNDI), all cervical range of motion (CROM), all thoracic range of motion (TROM), cranial rotation angle, sagittal shoulder posture (SSP), and QVAS (p<.05). All groups showed significant improvements from all times in all the evaluated methods. The KNDI, CROM, TROM of left rotation, and SSP in the experimental group showed significant improvements after 3 weeks, and the TROM of the right rotation and QVAS in the experimental group showed significant improvements after 6 weeks when compared with the control group. Conclusion: Thoracic mobility exercise during 6 weeks might be effective intervention to improve the functional level, posture feature, and QVAS pain rating for managing individuals with mechanical neck pain.

뇌졸중 환자에서 Dynamic Gait Index와 Berg Balance Scale 및 Timed Up & Go 검사간의 상관관계 (The Correlations among the Dynamic Gait Index the Berg Balance Scale and Timed Up & Go Test in people with stroke)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the relationship among the Dynamic Gait Index(DGI), Berg Balance Scale(BBS) scores, Timed Up & Go Test(TUG), and subject characteristics. The subjects were fifteen stroke with hemiplegia were chosen in the Konyang University Hospital. Dynamic balance was measured Dynamic Gait Index(DGI), and balance was measured using Berg Balance Scale(BBS). Timed Up & Go Test(TUG) was used to evaluate functional mobility. Data were analyzed using Spearman correlation. There was significant correlated among Dynamic Gait Index(DGI), Berg Balance Scale(BBS) and Timed Up & Go Test(TUG)(p<.01). The correlation among subject characteristics and Dynamic Gait Index(DGI), Berg Balance Scale(BBS), Timed Up & Go Test(TUG) score was significant result in r = -.527 from Dynamic Gait Index(DGI) and pathogenesis(p<.05). There were no significant statistical differences among the types of spasticity and Dynamic Gait Index(DGI), Berg Balance Scale(BBS), Timed Up & Go Test(TUG). The comparison among the sex, type of hemiplegia, pain, pathogenesis and Dynamic Gait Index(DGI), Berg Balance Scale(BBS), Timed Up & Go Test(TUG) score was significant result in pathogenesis(p<.05). The results of this study showed that there was high correlations among the Dynamic Gait Index(DGI) and balance test of people with stroke.

항공기 승무원의 작업 동작을 반영한 여성용 유니폼 셔츠 패턴 개선 방안 (Women's Uniform Shirts' Pattern Alteration by Applying the Work Postures of Flight Attendants)

  • The aim of this study was to develop a pattern of flight attendant uniform shirts to provide better comfort for their work postures. Flight attendants' work postures were evaluated to determine the problems of clothing and mobility during their work. The pattern of the flight attendants' uniform shirt was altered by applying dynamic wearing ease(DWE). DWE was calculated from four standardized dynamic postures and a static posture. An experimental garment was made with the altered postures. The researcher redesigned the pattern of the uniform shirts, which minimizes physical limitations in movements. The fit and mobility of the shirts were evaluated. Results of this study are as follows. First, the five representative work postures were selected by "clothing stress" and "repetitiveness." These postures included raised arms, twisting midriff and shoulder postures. Five representative postures were selected by using the ergonomic posture assessment device index(OWAS). Second, the experimental garment was developed by applying DWE across the back and at armhole depth, back length, and side length. Third, the fit and mobility of the experimental garments and the original uniform shirts were compared at the flight working environment set and 5 dynamic body postures of raising arms. The experimental garments made with an altered pattern provided better fit and mobility than the original sample shirts.

악관절(顎關節)의 이완성(弛緩性)(LAXITY)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (A STUDY ON THE LAXITY OF THE TEMPOROMANDIBULAR JOINTS)

  • The purpose of this study was primarily to determine the relationship between temporomandibular joint mobility and generalized benign joint hypermobility. The subjects were 85 men and 76 women, who were students of dental and dental hygiene schools, aged 18 to 30 years old. They had no disturbances or complaints of movement of temporomandibular joints and other joints in the body. The joint mobility was measured by a test which is a modification of a method developed originally by Carter and Wilkinson (1964). The mandibular mobility was measured during active and passive maximal opening, laterotrusion, protrusion, and retrusion by Ingervall's method (1970). The obtained results were as follows: 1. The distribution of joint hypermobility disclosed was 4.8% in men and 19.7% in women, and 11.8% of total subjects. 2. The joint mobility index was a mean of 0.37 for men and 0.51 for women in total subjects, and 0.80 for men and 0.73 for women in hypermobile subjects. 3. The angle of passive dorsiflexion of the little finger was greater in the left than in the right hand for both sexes and in hypermobile subjects than in total subjects. 4. There was a positive correlation between the joint mobility index and the angle of passive dorsiflexion of the little finger in total subjects. 5. The joint mobility was greater in women than in men, and in the left than in the right hand. 6. In the active maximal mandibular movements of total subjects, the mean values for the opening capacity was 56.01 mm and 52.04mm, the laterotrusion mean 8.07 and 8.08, the protrusion mean 8.72 and 8.24, and the retrusion mean 0.48 and 0.49 for men and women respectively. 7. In the passive maximal mandibular movements of total subjects, the mean values for the opening capacity was 59.07mm and 54.85mm, the laterotrusion mean 8.90 and 9.12, the protrusion mean 10.03 and 10.00, and the retrusion mean 0.69 and 0.72 in men and women respectively. The active and passive maximal opening capacity was larger in men than in women but in the other movements there were no significant differences between men and women. 8. The range of active and passive maximal mandibular movements of hypermobile subjects tended to be larger in men but no significant difference in women compared with that of total subjects. 9. The range of maximal mandibular movements was increased more in passive than in active.
