대학도서관은 모바일 웹사이트를 구축하고 모바일 애플리케이션을 개발함으로써 모바일 기기를 통해서도 도서관 서비스에 접근할 수 있는 통로를 제공하고자 노력하고 있다. 이러한 추세 속에서 모바일 서비스의 양적 증가만이 아닌 질적 성장을 위해 모바일 도서관 서비스 이용자들의 요구를 파악할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 모바일 도서관 서비스를 이용하는 이용자의 이용경험과 요구를 파악함으로써 모바일 도서관 서비스 활성화 방안을 제안하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 모바일 웹과 모바일 앱을 통해 적극적인 모바일 서비스를 제공하고 있는 2개의 대학도서관을 선정하고 재학생 608명을 대상으로 온라인/오프라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 모바일 도서관 이용빈도 및 목적, 이용/비이용 요인, 접근 경로, 주요 이용 서비스, 서비스 만족도, 불만족요인, 개선사항 등을 조사하였으며, 분석 결과를 기반으로 이용자 관점에서 모바일 도서관 서비스의 활성화 방안을 서비스 개선과 이용률 제고 측면에서 제안하였다.

모바일 기기의 보급 및 활용이 급증함에 따라 대학에서도 주요 학생 서비스들을 모바일 기기를 기반으로 제공하고 있다. 이러한 추세에 따라 본 논문에서는 비교적 엄격한 학생 관리가 요구되는 기숙형 고등학교 및 대학 기숙사 업무를 효율적으로 지원하고 관생들에게는 편리한 서비스를 제공하기 위해 모바일 웹 기반의 기숙사 업무 지원 서비스 시스템을 설계 및 구현 하였다. 제안 시스템은 첫째, 업무 관리 측면에서는 모바일 웹 및 전통적인 웹 기반의 관리 환경을 제공하여 점호, 외박 처리 등의 업무 처리 효율성을 높였다. 둘째, 관생 서비스 측면에서 모바일 웹 기반의 환경을 제공하여 웹에 접근 할 수 있는 환경에서는 항시 서비스를 이용할 수 있도록 하여 서비스 수혜자의 만족도를 높였다. 제안 시스템은 250명 규모의 남자 대학생 기숙사를 대상으로 한 학기 동안 운영되었으며 관생을 통한 설문 조사를 통해 그 유용성을 확인하였다.

In this paper, we propose a method to reduce mobile social network services (SNSs) traffic using a mobile integrated SNS gateway (MISG) to improve network communication performance between the mobile client and SNS servers. The gateway connects the client and SNS servers using the contents adapter and the web service adapter and helps to improve communication performance using its cache engine. An integrated SNS application, the user's client, communicates with the gateway server using integrated SNS protocol. In addition, the gateway can alert the client to new SNS contents because of the broker server implemented by the message queuing telemetry transport protocol. We design and develop the modules of the gateway server and the integrated SNS application. We then measure the performance of MISG in terms of content response time and describe the result of the experiment.

Purpose: This study aimed to examine engagement and satisfaction with a mobile web-based education program (HiChart) among pregnant women. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted of 97 pregnant women hospitalized for obstetric care. Data were collected from October 1 to November 30, 2016, and were analyzed with descriptive statistics. Results: Among participants, 16.5% engaged fully with HiChart, while 43.3% engaged partially. The overall satisfaction with HiChart was high. Some main reasons for not engaging with the education were participants' unawareness of the text messages, lack of time, and poor internet connection. The participants suggested that more educational content needed to be covered, such as coping with infant emergencies and information about the neonatal intensive care unit. Conclusion: To increase pregnant women's engagement with mobile web-based education, efforts are needed to strengthen the system of sending text messages as part of mobile web-based education to all patients, to inform pregnant women that an educational web link was sent, and to encourage them to engage with mobile web-based education. Furthermore, it is essential to improve the HiChart service by providing educational content corresponding to users' needs.

언제 어디서나 네트워크에 연결되어 있는 유비쿼터스 환경에서의 무선 단말기의 컨텐츠에 대한 연구가 활성화되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 일반 컴퓨터의 인터넷 컨텐츠를 무선 단말기를 이용하여 얻을 수 있도록 하는 프레임워크를 제안하고자 한다. 프레임워크의 컨텐츠를 관리하는 서버의 성능 향상을 위해서 다수의 리소스 중에서 위한 중요 이미지를 선정하고, 선정된 이미지만을 단말기에서 재생 가능한 이미지로 변환하는 것이 본 논문의 목표이다. 이를 위해 웹 문서의 이미지 관련 정보 중 화면 표시율(DPR)과 이미지의 분포 영역을 고려하여 다수의 변환 요구 이미지 중에서 중요 이미지를 선별한 후 모바일 이미지로 변환 서비스하여 서버의 모바일 이미지로의 변환 시간 및 자원을 축소 시켜 서버의 성능을 향상시키고자 한다.

센서 웹은 무선 네트워크 환경의 기술 발전과 센서의 소형화로 물리적 환경에 대해 실질적인 모니터링이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 센서 네트워크의 센서와 원격 센싱 서버가 무선 연결을 통하여 데이터 저장소로 데이터를 전송하고, 센서 노드에 의해 수집된 정보에 대한 모바일 웹 서비스를 위해 지그비 (ZigBee) RF 기반의 프레임워크를 설계한다. 본 논문의 제안 시스템은 센서의 관리와 SOA 기반의 센서 웹 접근 제공을 위한 센서 네트워크의 통합 플랫폼이다. 본 논문은 SOA 기술과 센서 네트워크를 결합하고 센서 노드를 웹 관점으로 구성하고 센서 웹에 접근하는 사용자에게 높은 성능, 확장성, 신뢰성과 유용성을 제공한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 프레임워크의 성능 향상을 위해 모바일 메시지 변환 모듈, SOAP 메시지 처리 모듈, WSDL 메시지 생성기 그리고 모바일 웹 서비스 모듈을 센서 웹서버에 각각 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 근거리 무선 통신 시스템의 성능 평가는 NS-2 시뮬레이션을 통해서 분석하였다.

최근 유비쿼터스 사회로 도약하기 위하여 다양한 산업 분야에서 기술 혁신이 이루어지고 있으며, 의료 분야에서도 u-Hospital의 대중화를 위해 장소의 제약을 받지 않는 모바일 기술을 적극적으로 활용하려는 추세를 보인다. 현존하는 모바일 진료예약 시스템은 기존 웹 페이지의 텍스트 기반 인터페이스를 그대로 사용하므로 사용자의 위치정보를 잘 활용하지 못하는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이에 대한 해결방안으로 Web 2.0 환경에 적합하도록 RIA (Rich Internet Application) 기술을 활용하여 지리정보 서비스를 이용한 모바일 진료예약 시스템을 구현하였다. 또한 적은 페이지 뷰에서 모든 작업 처리가 가능하고 XML을 이용한 효율적인 데이터 교환으로 기존 시스템과 차별화를 두었으며, 유연한 사용자 인터페이스를 통하여 사용자 편의성의 향상을 기대할 수 있다.

At present, GML becomes the global standard for the XML encoding of geographic information and is the foundation for the Geo-Web. GML is being applied to a wide range of geographic applications including GIS and location-based services, telematics and intelligent transportation systems. In this paper, we propose the tourism information system for supporting the location based service application. We made an effort to design and implement a GIS computing environment by thin client for mobile web mapping service. We are interested in the GML applications that include traditional GIS system for navigation service and location finder for points of interest (POI) services. This paper summarizes the Tourism information system for location based service of a small area (Han-Ok Village with the Korean traditional houses in Jeonju-city), in which moving travelers can obtain proper information services at the current location associated with traditional monuments, cultural products, food, and conveniences. In the paper, we report on the design of the thin client/server system for a mobile environment. This paper is divided into three parts. First, we give a general overview of the organization of the system and of the important concerns of our design. Second we focus on our system supports for location and POI determination, and design concerns. Finally, we show the graphic user interface of PDA, the procedures involved in the service, and the executed results.

차세대 모바일 메시징 서비스인 RCS(Rich Communication Service)는 통신사업자가 독점적으로 제공하는 서비스로 제3의 개발자가 해당 기능을 이용한 앱을 개발하기 어렵다. 이를 해결하기 위하여 몇몇 방법이 제시되어왔으나 실제로 응용 가능한 수준에는 못 미치는 실정이다. 본 논문은 제3의 개발자가 RCS 서비스를 이용한 앱을 쉽게 개발할 수 있도록 웹 인터페이스 기반의 RCS 소프트웨어 프레임워크인 WebRSF를 제안한다. WebRSF는 1대 1 대화 기능을 제공하기 위해 복잡한 RCS 프로토콜을 간단한 웹 기반 프로토콜 변환하여 RCS 기능을 제공한다. 이를 위해 WebRSF를 이용하는 클라이언트가 WebRSF와 메시지를 어떻게 주고받는지 정의하였고, WebRSF와 기존 RCS 노드들과의 네트워크 구성도 및 메시지 흐름도를 명시하였다. 또한 성능 평가를 통해 WebRSF 클라이언트를 사용할 경우 RCS 클라이언트를 사용하는 것에 비하여 디바이스가 얼마나 부하를 더 받는지 성능 평가를 통해 실험해 보았으며 세션 수립 시에는 17% 감소된, 세션 수립 후에는 25% 증가된 부하를 받는다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

본 논문에서는 웹 서비스 기술을 이용하여 동적으로 가격비교를 위한 SOAP기반 유/무선 웹 서비스 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 본 웹 서비스 시스템은 크게 상품검색, 상품정렬, 상품주문과 UDDI 검색 브라우저를 지원하는 웹 서비스 클라이언트 모듈과 상품 검색/주문 원격 프로시저와 UDDI 게시 브라우저를 포함하는 서버모듈과 무선 환경에서 상품 검색/주문을 지원하는 모바일 클라이언트 모듈로 나누어지며, SOAP 표준 환경기반으로 상호 정보를 교환하도록 구현하였다. 따라서 사실표준 환경인 SOAP, WSDL, UDDI 표준을 따르는 모든 환경에서 이식가능하며, 플랫폼에 독립적으로 지원할 수 있다.
