Mobile internet service based on CDMA network evolution and multifunction mobile terminal is popular in Korea. Mobile internet service is classified as the information service using browser and mobile multimedia service using download platform. Killer applications based on multifunction mobile terminals have been developed for new business in mobile internet services. One of killer applications is location based seurvice (LBS) using mobile location information. In this paper, we develop mobile map browser using WIPI platform that is the main function in LBS. Mobile map browser interworking with GIS server provides the map information. The developed mobile map browser can be working on PDA and telematics terminals when WIPI is porting on these devices.

By using wireless terminal, the number of users who wish to use the multimedia service like the Internet as well as Short Message Services and voice service has increased dramatically over the last years. We propose the method that improves Mobile IPv4 (MIPv4) Regional Registration in wireless mobile networks to decrease traffic's transmission delay and message generation compared with an existing method We design the scheme in MIPv4 environments that a packet do not pass through the home agent transmitted from correspondent node to mobile node, if a mobile node moves to other mobility agent. Simulation results show that the proposed method significantly reduces the expenses for registration and delivering packet.

The development of IT has made it possible to use various terminal systems for financial transaction and demands for financial survices are getting more and more diversified at the same time. Among others, mobile banking service market based on IC chips has been expanded its service areas and the number of mobile banking users has been increased. The study analyzes and tests the dynamic effects of the inflow of potential customers on mobile banking market condition by using system dynamics methodology to identify the dynamic structure of mobile banking market. The simulation model is designed to track the variation in the number of subscribers of mobile banking servides according to two scenarios, and the results are as follows; First the effect of word of mouth by customers who have used the service already is significant. The satisfactory level of early adopters is reflected in WOM, and as a test result shows, increase in word-of-mouth causes the growth of potential customers' demands for mobile banking service. Second, perceived attractiveness of mobile banking service market is another important construct. Factors such as convenience, mobility, time saving, security, and various services explain the construct perceived attractiveness of the service, and it makes the potential customers adopt the service, causing the increase of demands.

In China, commercial banks have launched mobile banking one after another, and the homogeneous products make the competition of mobile banking extremely fierce. Mobile banking monthly active users (MAU) is an important indicator to evaluate the operation results of mobile banking. How to improve mobile banking monthly active users is a problem faced by commercial banks. The purpose of this study is to explore strategies to increase monthly active customers of mobile banking with the help of vending machines. This research is carried out through the literature method and case method. The research results show that the use of vending machines can not only effectively increase the monthly active customers of mobile banking, but also realize the differentiation strategy to occupy the mobile banking terminal market. At the same time, this study is helpful and instructive for commercial banks to develop their business.

With development of mobile communications terminal and expansion of mobile Internet, a large number of users can use mobile web contents at anytime and anywhere and will demand service of greater contents. Due to such demand, many studies are being carried out on transcoding contents so that wired web contents can be used in mobile web. However, transcoding and creation of mobile web contents involve difficulties because specifications available from telecommunications companies and mobile terminals have not been standardized. Especially, in order for serving dynamic object of wired web page contents to dynamically change according to time or user, it is required not only to program scripts to suit each terminal, but also to transcode the resources used in advance. for solution to this problem, this study uses the hierarchy structure of DOM (document object model) to display structural characteristics of wired web page. In other words, this study proposes the following technique. Wired web pages are analyzed and the results are established as data structure. Then, dynamic object is extracted and the domain is indexed so that, when serving mobile web page, information can be extracted at the indexed position to create mobile web contents for service on real-time basis. Also, this study aims at developing an editing device to edit mobile web contents and mobile web service server to service the edited contents by applying the above technique.

This is based on the WTLS(Wileless Transport Layer Security) of WAP Protocol. This security module is expected to achieve central role in conversion of wireless internet environment and emphasis of encryption technology and safe and calculable wireless communication environment construction.

In this paper, we propose handoff scheme for BT(Bluetooth) IP and define signaling for the handoff scheme. In local area, BT IP use the concept of Cellular IP and the operation property of Bluetooth system. In case of accessing external internet, use the concept of Mobile IP. IP-based Mobility of Bluetooth Terminal provides efficient and rapid mobility in local area and flexibility on the internet.

근래에 이르러 Digital Photo에 대한 사용자들의 수요가 늘어나면서 DSC이나 Camera Phone으로부터 Photo용 Printer로의 Printing Solution 개발에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. 2003년에 미국과 일본의 회사들이 이런 용도로 PictBridge를 개발하였다. 이것은 Image File의 전송에 대한 것인데, 최근에 이르러 양질의 프린팅 서비스 제공을 위하여 XHTML을 전송하는 방식에 대한 연구가 진행 중이다. 본 논문은 Pictsridge 상에 HXHTML script을 전송하는 방식에 대한 내용을 담고 있다.

We propose an efficient internetworking model for fast handover between UMTS and WLAN networks. Mobility anchor (MA) is provided at the boundary between GGSN and PDG, under the 3GPP-proposed internetworking reference model. Such MA can enable authentication and session initialization before L2 handover of the mobile terminal, so that seamless and fast vertical handover could be possible.

Recently the mobile terminals using GPS offer find-way service. But for obtaining the simple small-map, this system is very additional expensive. Accordingly it is impossible to provide this service using the general mobile terminals which almost all of the people have. Therefore, in this paper we design and develop the mobile outline map and guide map to solve the problems of the existed find-way service in the mobile environments. This system supports the mobile guide service of the destination without the additional cost on mobile terminal based on WIPI at any time and any where. And mobile service providers are able to advertise for neighborhood stores of the searching destination using this system.
