As well as the development of the measurement of service quality, various kinds of service measurements are also being developed. Especially the mobile telecommunication service being representative to the mobile telecommunication company would be the mostly developed area. Its development can be understood along with the development of the telecommumication companies as well as cellular companies, not only the service alone. It is a differentiated phenomenon in the current research, such as the organic influence between the service quality and product. Of course there are such products placed on sale and enjoyed the common service, but at present there is another case that the product is on the market exclusively with the mobile company in here.

Subsidiary business between mobile carriers and handset manufacturers has been banned by Korean regulator due to the concern that it may cause the unfair competition in the market. But the opinion that the current regulation has to be consolidated is increasing to follow recent market trends, ensuer the fair competition and increase the users' benefit. In this paper, I analysed trends of the mobile telecommunication market and proposed desirable direction of regulatory improvement.
Korean mobile telecommunications market is shifting from 2G to 3G service. Considering the revenue of voice-based communication has reached its maximum, 3G services can provide telecommunication companies with the opportunity to increase their revenues. As the competition in the market is becoming fierce, mobile carriers are trying to increase their profits by preventing their customers from switching to rivals. In this regard, managing customer can be a key success factor of the mobile telecommunications business by retaining existing customer. In this research, we tried to develop and test a model that aids further understanding of the determinants of continuance intention to use the current 3G service. We conducted empirical study through the analysis of 3G service users' data in Korea. The results indicated that continuance intention to use the current 3G is dependent on the customer's satisfaction with the service quality, handset, and brand image. We hope that analysis results will have significant implications in terms of both practical and theoretical aspects.
This paper proposes a new spectrum forecasting (SF) model to estimate the spectrum demands for future mobile broadband (MBB) services. The model requires five main input metrics, that is, the current available spectrum, site number growth, mobile data traffic growth, average network utilization, and spectrum efficiency growth. Using the proposed SF model, the future MBB spectrum demand for Malaysia in 2020 is forecasted based on the input market data of four major mobile telecommunication operators represented by A-D, which account for approximately 95% of the local mobile market share. Statistical data to generate the five input metrics were obtained from prominent agencies, such as the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission, OpenSignal, Analysys Mason, GSMA, and Huawei. Our forecasting results indicate that by 2020, Malaysia would require approximately 307 MHz of additional spectrum to fulfill the enormous increase in mobile broadband data demands.
We analyze changes of consumption behavior for bundle services for the latest three years focusing on comparing the detailed service types and service providers to understand competition structure in the market. Our major findings and implications are as follows. First, the mobile telecommunication service is certainly deemed to be a major selection criteria for bundling service provider, therefore the leading company in the mobile telecommunication has become more significant market power. Second, IPTV has an important influence for slection of bundling service provider, lately in some cases, rather than broadband Internet. Third, the individual services affecting the selection of bundling service providers clearly showed differentiation among three operators as a mobile telecommunication service of SK Group, a broadband Internet of KT, and an IPTV of LGU+. In addition, the importance of individual services in securing subscribers has been increased as the preference factors to switch a service provider were synchronized with the decision of major bundling service provider. Finally, although it is difficult to find customers' lock-In due to the latest change of their intentions to switch a provider, we find it is continuously necessary to monitor customers' lock-in as there are more long-term customers with re-contracts. Our results provide the policy implications based on the change of competition structure and usage behavior in the bundle market which is not evaluated the competiton situation.

The purpose of this paper is to empirically identify whether unit bias exists or not under the flat rate pricing in the Korean mobile telecommunication market and to give the desirable form of pricing plans for minimizing this irrational behaviors. Our results show that with the flat rate pricing consumers tends to make more voice or data traffic over their optimal consumption level, meaning the existence of unit bias in the Korean mobile market. These results imply that under the current pricing plans subscribers may pay higher monthly fee than their optimal cost which maximizes their utility, for using the telecommunications service. Thus, policy makers need to consider adopting mobile operators' segmentation of the flat rate pricing plans for the reduction of subscribers' telecommunications costs and the improvement of consumer welfare.
Mobile game is a killer content among the various mobile contents provided by Telecommunication companies. Recently, Location Based Service (LBS) market is growing rapidly and LBS will be a killer content in the near future. As a consequence, mobile game combined with LBS will be a dominant trend of mobile content. However, there exist some limitations on the revitalization of the mobile service market. In this paper, analysis of the restrictions on the mobile service market is performed and then methods for the revitalization of the mobile service market are proposed various billing system is required to reduce network fee for users, a new policy to protect privacy has to be offered, and the infrastructure for high network performance should be developed. The result of this research will provide key role to find a new and more innovative approach to enhance the interaction design of the future Location Based Mobile Games.

It is the background that the provision of the mobile WiMAX femtocell trial service of a leading mobile telecommunication service operator using small base stations for indoor mobile broadband services and coverage expansion through eliminations of shadow areas in this paper. The paper presents an analysis result of trial subscribers' usage satisfaction for the mobile WiMAX femtocell service and suggests a market approach strategy of a mobile WiMAX femtocell service based on the analysis result. The interesting influence factors are extracted from wide influence factors suggested by existing research literature related with mobile service usage satisfaction and confined to a system quality, a service quality, and an account structure with consideration for attributes of mobile WiMAX femtocell service under exploring its early stages of service market. And then we analyze impacts of the factors to the mobile WiMAX femtocell service usage satisfaction. As a result, a system quality and an account structure have a tendency to provide considerable impacts to subscribers' usage satisfaction for mobile WiMAX femtocell service which is immature in both its technology and market. Therefore a market approach with the preferential consideration of the two factors will be valid.
The characteristics of the spectrum, which are necessary for mobile telecommunication services, may determine the advantage of operators' competition for mobile services. We have a focus on the possibility that there would be the core spectrum within the frequencies. We define the core spectrum of frequencies in terms of 4 criteria (global source/roaming, cost-effectiveness, the experience of utilization and the possibility of use). They are based on the aspects of applicative and economic effectiveness by not technological and but market conditions. We have explored the current core spectrum by using the stepwise selection from these criteria. Our result indicates that the core spectrum may be movable with the development of technology and the flow of time. The results of this paper could be practically used as the reasonable justifications of the policies for not only the competition management but also the alignment about the frequencies for mobile telecommunication.

This article is to estimate service efficiency for Mobile Communication and Cellular company. In this paper, We tried to measure the service quality and overall satisfaction by using Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA), degree of combination and top2box which is a little bit different methodology from traditional ones. This paper uses CCR model in DEA to measure service efficiency in the Mobile Communication.
