A Study on Light-weight Signature Scheme for NFC mCoupon Service (NFC mCoupon 서비스를 위한 경량화 서명 기법에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, the combination of mobile and NFC aroused great momentum for Activation of NFC services market. Especially, mCoupon service using NFC has been utilized in a variety consumer marketing. However, mCoupons differ significantly from paper-based coupons because unprotected data can be easily copied or modified without significant cost by anyone. A high number of uncontrolled copies of coupons can result in a significant loss. In this paper, we proposed a light-weight signature scheme that is protected against illegal use in nfc mobile payment environment to using limited resources.

  • 모바일 IT기술이 발전함에 따라 비접촉 근거리 무선 통신 기술 중 NFC가 대부분의 스마트기기에 탑재되어 빠르게 확산되고 있다. 특히 스마트폰의 NFC 기능을 이용한 서비스들 중 모바일 결제 서비스가 활성화를 위해 다양한 인프라가 구축되어 있으며 최근에는 금융과 기술이 결합한 '핀테크(Fintech)'가 주목받으면서 NFC를 사용한 모바일 결제에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 기존의 NFC 모바일 결제 시스템은 쿠폰 사용, 포인트 결제 등 다양한 할인혜택을 제공한다. 하지만, 결제 시 할인혜택을 받는 과정에서 쿠폰 사용으로 인해 시간이 다소 소요되며 여러 번 통신으로 결제가 진행되어 사용자들로 하여금 불편하다는 문제가 발생한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 NFC 환경에서의 mCoupon(mobile-coupon)을 이용한 안전하고 효율적인 통합결제 시스템을 설계하여 사용자들로 하여금 누구나 쉽게 사용할 수 있도록 구현한다.

  • As a form of reciprocity or exchange, gift giving is one of the processes that integrate a society. There has been a long history of research on gift giving behavior in the communication area. Recently with the advent of digital environment, digital contents gift giving behavior became a prevalent social custom. But there has been little research of an individual consumer's consumption behavior of digital contents gift giving. Drawing on the innovation theory, technology acceptance model, and gift giving literature, the author take a quantitative approach to the effect of innovation attributes on mobile coupon gift giving behavior. The result showed that innovation attribute did positive influence to mobile coupon gift giving behavior. Furthermore, consumer innovation attribute moderate in the relationship between product innovation and mobile gift giving attitude.

  • Many franchise stores are in the surrounding. These stores offer many membership services. But, small traders do not provide much customer management service. For example, non-franchised cafes provide the services through paper coupons. However, most of paper coupons are available only in one store that issued the coupon. Besides, these coupons are in stamp format. Due to the absence of customers' management service, it is hard for small traders to attract customers compared to the franchise. Therefore, in this paper, We had implemented a mobile application, and applied to new customer management service in order to increase the price competitiveness of small traders. This service issues electronic coupon through a mobile app. customers can receive a relatively large amount of discount, and a deadline of coupons are short. When customers use coupons, new coupons are issued at the same time. This structure can be powerful means to lead customers' frequent visit. Small traders can gain a lot of regular customers by using this service.

  • Recently, an application business model was proposed to implement an M-coupon system using the NFC-based mobile devices. In this paper, the security requirements were surveyed for a secure M-coupon system and to analyze the threats on the existing NFC-based M-coupon protocols. After considering the implementation efficiency and security, this paper presents a novel M-coupon protocol based on the Diffie-Hellman key agreement scheme. This protocol can be an alternative to solve the security problems related to the PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) and secret key distribution. Furthermore, this M-coupon protocol is designed to provide user authentication and counteract the relay attack.

The Effects of Characteristics of Mobile Coupon Service on Consumers' Intention of Using Mobile Coupons (모바일 쿠폰서비스의 특성이 소비자의 쿠폰이용의도에 미치는 영향과 자기해석의 조절효과에 관한 연구)

  • The recent economic recession and price rise reduces excessive consumption as a whole. So companies take more interest in and use discount coupons as a means of sales promotion to reinforce their competitiveness. The combination of Internet and mobile communication technology leads to an explosive increase in the use of mobile Internet service, which promotes commercialization of mobile coupons. Nevertheless, there are absolutely insufficient researches on mobile coupons than those on paper ones. In this context, this study tries to consider intention of accepting and using mobile coupons. The innovated Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was used to see factors of using mobile coupons considered important by customers. Through the combination of characteristics of mobile coupon service and values obtained from mobile coupons, effects of variables to enhance intention of using mobile coupons were empirically analyzed. In particular, this study suggested importance of psychological as well as economic values of mobile coupons and emphasized good considerations of the psychological aspect, such as shame, stinginess, and reputation sensitivity, in using mobile coupons as an important factor for intention of using the coupons. Another empirical analysis was made of what moderating roles consumers' self-construalplayed in the effects of mobile coupon values perceived by consumers on intention of using coupons. As a result, immediate connectivity and situational provision among characteristics of mobile coupon service were found to affect ease and usability. It was also shown that perceived ease and usability had significant effects on both economic and psychological values, which then had significant effects on intention of using a mobile system. After testing moderating effects of self-construal, the degree of effects of perceived mobile coupon values on intention of using mobile coupons was greater among inter-dependent self-construal users than among independent ones. This study considered various schemes of improving intention to use mobile coupons and provided a foundation to help companies make a strategy for mobile coupons to be activated in the future.

  • Since a smart phone became popular that leads mobile era, we've faced diverse life style changes. Particularly, a mobile messenger which changes communication method from voice and video call to text based multi media messenger, leads new gift-giving culture called mobile voucher gift-giving. Although many researches have validated diverse models about digital voucher, this research utilize the model which divide motivation of gift-giving from three theories: gift-giving motivation theory, technology acceptance model, and consumer value theory. The purpose of this research is not only validate the model but also grouping by giving frequency of samples and validate disparity among groups. In conclusion, there are three groups founded and shows difference motivations.

  • The marketing using coupons policy is using in various business departments. The coupon marketing gives advantages to consumers and stores, too. The coupon policy gives discount to consumers. The stores can reduce cost of advertisement. It activates the motivation of consumers to give his loyalty to the specific store. Although the coupon marketing has these merits, there are too many coupons in the purse of consumers. The consumers should collect their coupons in their purse. The shops have to calculate the points of each consumer's coupons differently. The processing process of coupons is too complex to manage. This paper implements the managing system to control stamps in mobile devices. "Collecting Stamp" resolves those problems and enables to manage various coupons in mobile environment.

  • We present the user-friendly graphical user interface design and implementation of Monte Carlo simulation (MCS) for computing option price of the four-underlying asset step-down equity linked securities (ELS) using the Android platform. The ELS has been one of the most important and influential financial products in South Korea. Most ELS products are based on one-, two-, and three-underlying assets. However, currently there is a demand for higher coupon payment from ELS products because of the increased interest rate in financial market. In order to allow the investors to have higher coupon payment, it is necessary to design a multi-asset ELS such as four-asset step-down ELS. We conduct the computational experiments to demonstrate the performance of the Android platform for pricing four-asset step-down ELS. Furthermore, we perform a comparison test with a three-asset step-down ELS.

  • Business is changing to Omni channel services for connecting customer and commerce enterprise anytime and anywhere continuously through the growth of IoT technology. This paper proposes a Mobile Service Architecture, which can provide an Omni channel, for activating O2O(Online to Offline) business to induce customers to visit offline stores through online services. A proposed Mobile Service Architecture proposes a Dynamic Architecture that can provide the specialized service using a Customization service when the service is provided to customers. The proposed Dynamic Mobile Service Architecture consists of a beacon sensor and customization framework. In the case study, the suitability of the Dynamic Mobile Service Architecture was verified by providing a dynamic coupon and advertisement service.
