The Role of Technology and Organization in Building Trust in Mobile Content Services (모바일 콘텐츠 서비스의 신뢰구축을 위한 기술과 조직의 역할)

  • The purpose of this paper is to study building and maintaining consumer trust in mobile contents for tourism and travel in perspective of public sector. Mobile contents services are increasing rapidly. Tourism contents in mobile services are non profit business model in an early and immature stage toward the ubiquitous era. Non-profit organization plays a role as service provider through Internet and wireless telecommunication in an information-intensive and network-oriented environment. This article is proposed nonprofit organizations as tourism contents service provider to identify a conceptual framework that can build continuous trusted mobile contents under ubiquitous environment according to developing and maintaining stage. The results based on the focus group interview methodology highlights a conceptual foundation for service providers in nonprofit domain.

High Quality Network and Device Aware Multimedia Content Delivery for Mobile Cloud

  • The use of mobile devices is increasing in multimedia applications. The multimedia contents are delivered to mobile users over heterogeneous networks. Due to fluctuation in bandwidth and user mobility, the service providers are facing difficulties in providing Quality of Service (QoS) guaranteed delivery for multimedia applications. Multimedia applications depend on QoS parameters such as delay, bandwidth, and jitter to offer better user experience. The existing schemes use the single source and multisource delivery but are unable to balance between stream quality and network congestion for mobile users. We proposed a Quality Oriented Multimedia Content Delivery Scheme (QOMCDS) for the mobile cloud to deliver better quality multimedia contents for the mobile user. The multimedia contents are delivered to the mobile device based on the device's parameters and network environment. The objective video quality assessment models like Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR), Structural Similarity (SSIM), and Video Quality Measurement (VQM) are used to measure the quality of the video. The client side Quality of Experience metric such as Startup delay, Rebuffering events, and Bitrate switch count was used for evaluation. The proposed scheme is evaluated using dash.js and is compared to existing schemes. The results show significant improvement over existing multimedia content delivery schemes.

  • The main stream of existing game market was console and PC-based games. In these days mobile game industry extends its boundary according to the advance of mobile device capability. Especially, smart phones, known as computers in hands, accelerate the expansion of mobile game market. This paper analyzes the characteristics and the current status of mobile game market. Based on this analysis, future directions for mobile game market are given.

A Multimedia Contents Recommendation System for Mobile Devices using Push Technology (모바일 환경에서 푸쉬 기술을 이용한 개인화된 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 추천 시스템)

  • The appearance of wirelsss internet service made accessing easier than existing mobile devices. Due to the properity of mobile devices, we can easily obtain his/her profile information compared to a wired internet service. It enables to provide a personalized service through mobile devices. In this paper, we propose a recommendation service based on collaborative filtering method and a content push service. Using users' profile information, we recommand a target user's favoriate content. The recommanded contents are stored in mobile device through the push service. When we connect a wireless internet service, our mobile push service starts to cache from user's favorite contents. Especially, when we select a large mobile content, our system can reduce a download time by using our recommandation service. Also, in case of a connectionless, we can use a cached data from pushed content in our mobile device.

  • The interest in the service of 3D mobile contents becomes larger due to the technological advance of production and services of mobile contents and the appearance of the exclusive mobile phone for 3D game. Therefore, the researches about the efficient mobile services of large 3D contents are wanted in the circumstances of the narrow bandwidth and the burden of the connection charge of wireless mobile communications. In this paper, we suggest a strategy of caching for looking up and downloading the 3D marine characters efficiently and a system model for mobile service of 3D marine characters. The suggested system is designed for serving efficiently the high-quality 3D characters through the wireless mobile communications using the database on the 3D marine objects of cyber aquarium constructed for the services through the wired internet.

  • Mobile device will be able to use the various contents from the advancement of the wireless Internet and mobile device manufacture technique. Each devices HTTP headers about under using provides terminal information to contents provider which is provided the contents which is suitable in device. But there is not a standard for a terminal information proηsion and when using the contents of service network outside, interoperability problems mobile communication it will provides terminal information in different method. International Organization for Standard OMA UAProf about under using it solved interoperability problems from outside. But about under using it provides terminal information, MMS support and Smart Card support, against an external storage space supporting information it is not seen clearly UAProf not to be, it will not be able to provide terminal information which is complete. This paper hereupon it designed UAProf in base which provides the contents which has become optimize to the mobile device of domestic environment the mobile device description language which expresses device information which is necessary.

Protection Algorithm of the Multimedia Contents in the Mobile Environment (모바일 환경하에서 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 보호 알고리즘)

  • In this paper, the digital watermarking algorithm is proposed using CDMA technique for protection of the mobile contents in the mobile environment. The digital watermarking was designed to robust the errors in the mobile environment where pathloss, multipath fading, interference, and noise exist. In case of the multimedia content service in the mobile environment, the construction method of the watermark, the algorithm of insertion and detection are also proposed. The watermark consists of the information of the mobile user. Invisibility and robustness required in watermarking are etimated. It is observed that PSNR of the mobile content inserted the watermark is 90.31 dB, and the signal processing and noise attack are also robust. Especially, because random noise occurs in wireless transmission can overcome, the proposed watermarking algorithm is adequate for protection of the multimedia contents in the mobile environment.

  • MPEG 4 Part 20 LASeR (ISO/IEC 14496 20) is a specification designed to deliver rich media services in a mobile environment. The specification is an emerging standard that can replace the MPEG 4 BIFS specification designed to deliver PC based heavyweight media contents. The specification describes the representation of scene information in a resource constrained mobile environment. Unlike the BIFS standard designed to deliver heavyweight rich media, the LASeR specification has a restricted description that conforms to the SVG Tiny 1.2 specification. Also, the specification has an advantage of allowing for the efficient conversion of one graphics format to another. In this paper, we present the design and the implementation of a LASeR authoring system that allows for fast and efficient creation of interactive rich media contents in a mobile environment. The Gill interface of the authoring system presented in this paper allows users, who do not have prior knowledge of the scene description language, to conveniently create contents and store the produced scenes using the internal list data structure. The system allows users to navigate scene objects internally stored and to create LASeR XML files in the structured XML format.

  • 본 논문에서는 반도체 생산 공정 중 클리닝 공정 과정에서 웨이퍼가 정확한 위치에 장착되었는지를 판단하기 위하여 투영 변환을 이용하여 원형 모양 웨이퍼로 복원하고 에지를 추출한 후 일반화 대칭 변환(Generalized Symmetry Transform, GST) 방법을 적용하여 웨이퍼의 윤곽을 검출하여 위치를 검사하는 방법을 제안한다.
