A Study on Application Design Scenarios for the Gas Safety Field Workers -focused on the pipe work- (가스 작업 안전 앱 시나리오 설계에 대한 연구 -배관 작업을 중심으로-)

  • The issue about the safety management of gas related work has been studied toward a direction to utilize IoT system recently. For this purpose, the matters of user's demand has been deduced through the literature survey, field survey, and professional consultation, by studying the characteristics of worker, work, and work site. In summary, these are the demands for mobile App, 1)a clear arrangement of contents, 2)a design with high readability, 3)a design with low death, 4) securing of user's accessibility, 5)an effective information transmission plan in the work section where it is impossible to operate the mobile device, 6)an activation of alarm function at the section of high working error, 7)a fast two-way transmission and receipt of safety inspection matter needed at work, 8)a selection of images and contents that can guide the situation to the worker in case of accident, 9)an alarm function for the degree of danger in an area of worker's location. Based on these, a basic design of safety application for gas related work has been proposed, that can secure the user accessibility.

  • Due to the recent surge of wireless Internet and concurrent development of the end user terminal devices having standardized graphical user interface(GUI) and unified operation mechanism for better interactivity in information representation and ease of use, various efforts on the improvement of GUI is widely recognized as one of the key factors that will usher in the next stages of the wireless Internet for the users. Especially, improved usability along with unique visual effect are considered to be the key elements for GUI considering the rapid improvement of the resolution and color on the end user handset devices; thus, the study and research on the subject of GUI is expected to increase along with the wireless Internet using smart phones. User interface of the wires Internet end user handsets will have a definite and significant effect on the user interaction as well as productivity. Domestically, wireless Internet service providers and GUI design companies are making various efforts in producing a common GUI models for standardized operation scheme and improved graphical display capabilities of the hand phones, PDAs and smart phones. In the study, Nokia 3650 model and Microsoft Orange SPV model were chosen as test devices for usability comparison and data collection to collect directional benchmark data in developing next generation smart phone user interface integrating PDAs and phones. The mail purpose of this study is to achieve the most efficient user accessibility to WAP menu through intensive focus on developing WIPI WAP menu having most effective usability for the users in their twenties and thirties. The result of this study can also be used as the base research materials for WAP service development, VM browser development and PDA browser development. The result of this study along with the evaluation model is expected to provide effective analysis materials on the subject of user interface to the developers of the wireless Internet user devices, GUI designers and service planners while short listing key factors to consider in developing smart phones therefore serving as the GUI guideline of WIPI phones.

Analyzing Game Streaming Application Reviews Using Text Mining Approach: Research to Strengthen Digital Competitiveness (텍스트마이닝 기법을 활용한 게임 스트리밍 애플리케이션 리뷰 분석: 디지털 경쟁력 강화를 위한 연구)

  • As the growth of the live streaming service market is accelerating due to COVID-19, the number of downloads and reviews of live streaming mobile applications is also rapidly skyrocketing. This study is to research game streaming applications using Twitch reviews as database. A total of 8 topics are extracted through LDA topic modeling and 7 out of them are detected to be inconvenience factors. Then, to pinpoint the main inconvenience factors, co-occurrence analysis is used in order to find out main factors. Finally, based on previous studies, several solutions are provided, which can solve the inconvenience factors(advertisement, UI design, technology problems) as well as strengthening digital competitiveness. This study will serve as an opportunity to improve digital competitiveness not only for Twitch but also for other game live streaming service companies in the future.

  • In December 2014, Livestock and Livestock Products Traceability Act was established, allowing consumers to receive livestock traceability information. While the Livestock Traceability System provides consumers with transparent and fair information about their food, it has brought increased workload and penalty burdens to stakeholders in the livestock industry. In this paper, we propose an IoT system for inventory management based on traceability numbers to enable sellers to conveniently provide livestock traceability information to consumers. We analyzed the protocol for managing data from electronic scales and conducted functional testing and verification on mobile devices. Furthermore, we implemented the design and system functionality, taking into account UI/UX on Android OS-based devices to synchronize and interconnect traceability and product information with electronic scales. We anticipate that the proposed approach will minimize user inconvenience and raise production efficiency in the existing market.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the need for smart home service based on the lifestyle of a rapidly growing single household. When we compare the need and the arbitrary service according to the pattern of the lifestyle of the consumer, we try to analyze whether there is an effect on the future use. In the questionnaire survey of 1 person, 8 questions were selected such as food, state, line, leisure, communication, consumption, mobile life, Single household characterization question should be added so that concrete measures can be presented to future services. Competitive smart home services will be presented by examining the lifestyle of the 20th and 30th generation of single households, It is intended to be used as basic data on the direction of development of smart home service of the rapidly increasing single person households, and it is aimed to be a direction of improvement and development direction of the existing plan.

  • Recently, an introduction of the cloud computing causes rapid changes in every aspect of the internet environments including hardware, operating systems, applications, and their services. As the cloud computing environment based on SaaS are being developed to a form in which web platform technology and web cloud services are converged. The digital library system also has been being developed to a service model optimized to SaaS based cloud computing environment, which are different from ASP technology. From the web interface point of view, user customization of the SaaS based cloud computing environment is the most important fact. Therefore, this research work suggests a customized web interface considering usability and accessibility so that enterprises and individual users can be able to do an effortless internet browsing under the cloud computing environment. For this purpose, usability tests were carried out as the user customized web interface design were developed and applied to the LinkSaaS website. This paper work lastly presents an UI environment on which customized interface design for individual users can be formulated.

  • Many people is preferred to mVoIP which offers call telephone-quality and convenient UI as well as free of charge. On the other hand, security of mVoIP is becoming an issue as it using Internet network may have danger about wiretapping. Although traditionally encryption algorithm of symmetric key for security of voice data has been used, ECC algorithm of public key type has been preferring for encryption because it is stronger in part the strength of encryption than others. However, the existing way is restricted by lots of operations in poor mobile environment. Thus this paper proposes the efficiency of resource consumption way by reducing cryptographic operations.

  • In this paper, a multi-band antenna with novel structure for mobile communications is designed and fabricated. The proposed antenna has the Multi-band antenna characteristics by two common-grounded slots with different size and angle. In order to reduce size and to enhance the gain of the antenna, a reflector is consisted of chokes on the three sides. It is optimized by using the CST Microwave Studio commercial software based on the FIA(Finite Integration Algorithm) and PBA(Perfect Boundary Approximation), and then the fabricating and measuring is practiced. As a result of measurement, the reflection coefficient is less than -11 dB(VSWR < 1.8) and the gain of antenna is more than 6dBi at 824~894MHz and 1885-2500MHz.

  • 이동통신 단말기의 그래픽 유저 인터페이스 환경은 다양한 요인에 의하여 그 변화를 자극 받고 있다. 한정된 디스플레이 공간 안에서의 다 기능화로 인한 사용성의 문제, 정적이고 지시적인 상황에 익숙한 문자 중심의 세대에서 자율적이고 동적인 영상 중심의 세대로의 사용자 세대의 변화, 합리적 소비 보다는 감성적 만족을 중요하게 여기는 사용자 가치의 변화, 그래픽 디자인 트랜드의 변화, 서비스 컨텐츠의 변화, 기술의 발전 등 이동통신 단말기를 둘러싼 모든 측면에서 변화가 진행되고 있다. 여기에 이동통신 단말기 제조사, 서비스 업체, 컨텐츠 업체, 칩 제조사 등 이동통신 서비스와 관련된 다양한 사업 주체들의 복잡한 이해관계 속에서의 경쟁 또한 이러한 변화를 부추기는 요인의 하나로 볼 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 변화요인들을 적절히 수렴하여 제공할 수 있는 보다 효과적인 그래픽 유져 인터페이스 디자인 방법을 모색하고자 하였으며, 보다 효율적이고 적극적인 개선을 위해 현재 이동통신 단말기의 GUI 디자인의 주요 디자인 수단인 Bitmap 또는 Vector 그래픽 대신 보다 다양한 시각적 표현 방법을 내재하고 있는 3D 기반의 Motion 그래픽을 활용한 이동통신 단말기의 GUI 디자인 방법을 제안 하고자 한다. 하지만 아직 여러가지 제약 조건들로 인하여 이동통신 단말기 내에서 3D Motion 그래픽의 적용이 완전히 자유롭지 않은 것이 사실이다. 그러나 기술의 발전 속도로 볼 때 머지 않아 3D Motion GUI 제공을 위한 이동통신 단말기의 기술적 환경은 충분히 발전될 것이며, 이에 따라 본 연구와 같이 3D 그래픽이나 Motion 그래픽을 등을 활용한 이동통신 단말기의 사용자 인터페이스 연구의 선행은 매우 필요하다고 볼 수 있다.

  • 해마다 대포차로 인한 사건 사고가 많이 일어나고 있으며, 피해율이 점점 더 증가하는 시점에서 검거율은 현저히 낮다. 이러한 문제를 줄이기 위해 대포차 검거 애플리케이션을 개발하고자 한다. 본 연구는 GPS와 사진으로부터 텍스트를 추출하는 기능을 활용하여 대포차를 검거하는 데 도움을 주는 애플리케이션이다. 사용자가 정차 및 주차되어 있는 차의 번호판을 사진 촬영 기능을 활용하여 자동으로 사진을 분석을 통해 차량의 번호를 인식하고, GPS를 활용하여 촬영한 장소의 위치 값을 추출하고 대포차 여부를 확인한다. 촬영한 차량이 대포차로 식별되면 관리 서버에 등록되고 대응 절차에 의해 대포차 검거 절차를 진행한다. 대포차의 실시간 검거를 위해 대포차 대응서버에서는 관리자에게 실시간으로 정보를 전송하고 알림 기능을 통해 검거 절차가 진행된다. 또한 실시간 대응에 어려움이 있는 상황에서는 자주 신고가 접수되는 출몰지역 정보를 관리자가 유추할 수 있도록 통계정보를 제공하여 추후 잠복에 의한 검거 정보를 제공한다.
