GH-Bladed를 이용한 풍력발전기의 질량 불평형 및 공력 비대칭 고장진단 시스템 개발 (Development of fault diagnostic system for mass unbalance and aerodynamic asymmetry of wind turbine system by using GH-Bladed)

  • 풍력은 전 세계적으로 가장 각광을 받고 있는 신재생 에너지이며 당분간 이러한 추세는 계속될 것으로 기대되고 있다. 최근 풍력발전시스템의 O&M(Operation & Maintenance) 비용의 절감에 대한 필요성이 꾸준히 대두되고 있는 실정이다. O&M 비용의 절감을 위한 가장 효율적인 방법은 CMS(Condition Monitoring System)의 도입이며 이는 풍력발전기 부품들의 악화, 적절한 선제적 유지보수, 발전중지시간의 단축 및 궁극적으로 풍력발전기의 운전 효율을 증대시키는 것을 가능케 한다. 풍력발전기의 터빈 로터와 관련하여 질량 불평형 및 공력비대칭과 같은 고장이 발생될 수 있다. 일반적으로 이러한 고장은 다양한 형태의 진동을 야기 시킨다. 이에 본 연구에서는 진동신호에 대한 스펙트럼과 간단한 max-min 진단 로직으로 구성된 고장검출 알고리즘을 제안한다. 또한 제안된 진단기법의 유용성의 확인을 위해 GH-Bladed 프로그램을 이용한 다양한 시뮬레이션 고찰을 수행한다.

폐암절제술후 발생하는 사망 및 합병증의 예측인자 평가에 관한 전향적 연구 (Prospective Study on Preoperative Evaluation for the Prediction of Mortality and Morbidity after Lung Cancer Resection)

  • 연구목적: 폐암은 근치적 폐절제술이 가장 효과적인 치료법이지만 폐암 환자들은 흔히 고령이면서 흡연으로 인한 폐기능저하가 동반된 경우가 많고 정상 폐조직을 광범위하게 절제하게 되므로 다른 수술보다 수술 후 사망율 및 폐합병증이 더욱 문제시 되고 있다. 이에 저자들은 폐암환자의 폐절제술 후 사망 및 합병증과 관련된 수술전 인자를 알아보고자 본 연구를 시행하였다. 방 법: 1995년 10월부터 1996년 8월까지 삼성서울병원에서 폐절제술을 시행받는 환자를 대상으로 전향적 연구를 시행하였고 수술후 최종진단이 폐암이 아니거나 폐절제가 시행되지 않았던 환자는 최종대상에서 제외하였다. 수술전에 대상환자의 성별, 연령, 체중감소의 정도, 동반질환, 폐쇄성폐렴여부를 조사하였고, 헤마토크릿, 혈청알부민, 심전도, 안정시동맥혈가스, $FEV_1$, DLco를 비롯한 폐활량검사, 운동부하 폐기능 검사를 시행하였으며 폐관류주사률 이용하여 수술후 폐기능예측지표를 산출하였다. 수술시 집도의, 폐절제범위, 수술시간, 수술후 병기, 수술후 중환자실 체류 시간을 기록하였고 사망 및 합병증은 수술후 30 일내의 사망, 폐렴이나 호흡부전 등과 같은 폐합병증, 48시간 이상의 중환자실 입원, 심장계합병증, 농흉, 출혈, 반회후두신경손상 등 기타 합병증으로 분류하여 수술후 발생여부를 확인하였다. 결 과: 최종 대상환자는 92명이었고 연령은 42~82세로 중앙값은 62세였으며 $FEV_1$$2.37{\pm}0.06L$으로 2.0L 이하인 환자는 29명이었다. 수술은 54예가 엽절제술, 12예가 이엽절제술, 26예가 전폐절제술을 시행받았다. 수술후 사망이 3예에서 있었고 폐합병증이 10예, 48시간이상의 중환자실 입원이 16예, 심장 합병증이 9예, 기타 합병증이 11예에서 각각 발생하였으며 사망과 관련된 수술전 인자로는 연령, 혈청알부민, DLco, ppo-DLco, postoperative predicted product(PPP), Wmax, $VO_2$max, ppo-$VO_2$max이었고(p<0.05), ppo-$VO_2$max가 10ml/kg/min이하인 환자 3명은 모두 사망한 반면 10ml/kg/min아상인 환자에서는 사망이 없었다(p<0.01). 수술후 폐합병증은 수술전 체중감소, 체적인자, 흡연량, 호흡곤란의 정도, 혈청알부민, FVC, $FEV_1$, MVV, DLco, ppo-$FEV_1$, ppo-DLco, PPP, Wmax, $VO_2$max, ppo-$VO_2$max, 폐절제술 범위와 밀접한 관련이 있었다 (p<0.05). 그러나 다변량분석에 의해 사망과 관련하여 유의한 지표는 체중감소정도이며 (p<0.05), 폐합병증과 관련하여 유의한 지표는 체중감소정도, 호흡곤란지수, 혈청알부민, ppo-DLco, 폐절제범위정도이었다 (p<0.05). 결 론: 폐암환자의 수술후 사망 및 폐합병증과 관련하여 유용한 예견지표는 체중감소정도, 호흡곤란정도, 폐절제범위 등 폐기능검사와 관련되지 않은 지표들이 중요한 예견지표였으나 운동부하폐기능검사지표들은 수술후 사망 및 합병증을 예측하는데 유용한 정보를 제공할 것으로 생각되며, 특히 ppo-$VO_2$max가 10ml/kg/mm이하인 환자는 수술후 사망율이 높을 것으로 추정된다.

  • In this paper we suggest a development of surface defect inspection algorithms for cold mill strip using tree structure. The defects which exist in a surface of cold mill strip have a scattering or singular distribution. This paper consists of preprocessing, feature extraction and defect classification. By preprocessing, the binarized defect image is achieved. In this procedure, Top-hit transform, adaptive thresholding, thinning and noise rejection are used. Especially, Top-hit transform using local min/max operation diminishes the effect of bad lighting. In feature extraction, geometric, moment, co-occurrence matrix, histogram-ratio features are calculated. The histogram-ratio feature is taken from the gray-level image. For the defect classification, we suggest a tree structure of which nodes are multilayer neural network clasifiers. The proposed algorithm reduced error rate comparing to one stage structure.

  • This paper presents a bin picking method using a slit beam laser in which a robot recognizes all of the unoccluded objects from the top of jumbled objects, and picks them up one by one. Once those unoccluded objects are removed, newly developed unoccluded objects underneath are recognized and the same process is continued until the bin gets empty. To recognize unoccluded objects, a new algorithm to link edges on slices which are generated by the orthogonally mounted laser on the xy table is proposed. The edges on slices are partitioned and classified using convex and concave function with a distance parameter. The edge types on the neighborhood slices are compared, then the hamming distances among identical kinds of edges are extracted as the features of fuzzy membership function. The sugeno fuzzy integration about features is used to determine linked edges. Finally, the pick-up sequence based on MaxMin theory is determined to cause minimal disturbance to the pile. This proposed method may provide a solution to the automation of part handling in manufacturing environments such as in punch press operation or part assembly.

  • The TVM 430 system manufactured by Ansaldo STS in France is currently used in ground signalling system for Kyungbu HSR. It transmits the speed information to the on-board signalling system in the form of continuous signal via the track, and the rolling stock in Kyungbu HSR runs with 300km/h max. operating speed by using the corresponding information. Looking from the recent international trends in HSR, reducing the travelling time and increasing of the line capacity is promoting via the improvement of train speed. In case of TGV Est, they are realizing the normal operation with 320km/h max. operating speed by using TVM SEI signalling system, which is similar to TVM 430. Furthermore, in case Honam HSL, which is under construction, is looking over faster speed than the limited one of Kyungbu HSR(i.e. over 300km/h). In this paper, it is assumed that the existing TVM 430 ground signalling system is used and train speed is improved, therefore the number of block section to be increased depending on the increase of train speed and the standard speed to be used in this case is drawn via the simulation of the train model and described the method accordingly.

다중 부하중심점에 기반한 온라인 퍼지 ULTC 제어기 설계에 대한 연구 (A Study on the On-Line Fuzzy ULTC Controller Design Based on Multiple Load Center Points)

  • The existing ULTC operation control strategy based on the measured data deteriorates the voltage compensation capability making the efficient corresponding to the load variation difficult by following the fixed load center point voltage. Accordingly, this paper proposes a new on-line fuzzy ULTC controller based on the designed multiple load center points which can improve the voltage compensation capability of ULTC and minimize voltage deviation by moving in real-time the load center point according to the load variation to an adequate position among the multiple load center points designed using the clustering technique. The Max-Min distance technique is adopted as the clustering technique for the decision of multiple load points from measured MTr load current and PTr voltage, and the minimum distance classifier is adopted for the decision of fuzzy output membership function. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed strategy, Visual C++ MFC-based simulation environments is developed. Finally, the superiority the proposed strategy is proved by comparing the fuzzy ULTC operation control results based on multiple load center points with the existing ULTC operation control results based on fixed load center point using the data for three day.

서울대학교병원의 방사선치료장비 운용 통계에 관한 고찰 (A Statistical Review on States Relating to Operation of Radiotherapy Equipments in Seoul National University Hospital)

  • To analyze the states of operation of radiotherapy facilities in the period from 1979 to 1992 and to get the base for efficient operation and maintenance of the radiotherapy facilities. Data on the records of annual number of patients operated by each facility; span of suspension of operation, the cost and span of repairing, and parts of oui-of-order in the period from 1979 to 1992 were analyzed. We made a comparative analysis of average annual number of patients, annual span of the suspension of operation, annual cost ratio of repair, span of repairing per break down, and total number of broken parts. We could get following annual number of patients(day), span of the suspension of span ($\%$)(day). annual cost ratio fo repair($\%$), span of repairing per break down(Min-Max, day), and number of broken parts from this analysis. 1. Cobalt unit (Picker C-9) : 10,389(43), 0.4(0.83) 0.07, 1hr-2, 3 2. Linac(Clinac 6/100) : 11,492(50), 4.0(9.57), 0.98, 1hr-30, 12 3. Linac(Clinac 18) : 9.115(44), 12.7(30.5), 3.54, 1hr-108. 41 4. Simulator(Picker Ther-X) : 2,017(9), 0.51(1.3), 0.24, 1hr-2, 7 5. RTP(Capentec Cap-plan) : 528(2), 0.4(0.93), - hrs, - The conclusion obtained from statistical analysis above are as follows. 1. The rate of operation of Cobalt unit($99.6\%$) was higher that of Linear Accelerators ($87.3\%$). The rates operation of Simulator and RTP computer were very close to that of Cobalt unit. 2. In order to raise up the working ratio of accelerator. it is desirable that we keep our engineer to learn a sufficient technical skill and the equipment agent to stock sufficient spare parts. 3. In order to maintain Linear Accelerator efficiently, it is desirable to have annually $2.3\%$ of the purchase price of equiment for repairing.

  • 본 논문은 내외부에 열원이 있는 시스템에 상변화물질(PCM, Phase Change Material)을 적용한 경우를 수치해석으로 분석한 것으로 컨넥터가 없는 경우와 있는 경우에 대하여 분석한 것이다. 각각의 경우에 $T_{max}$ 열원만 있을 경우와 $T_{max}$$710W/m^2$ 열원이 동시에 있을 경우가 고려되었다. 연구 결과 벽면에서의 열전달, 시간에 따른 PCM 온도변화 그리고 내부온도의 변화를 정리하였으며 그 결과 시스템의 구성품과 열전달 방향 및 열원의 종류에 따라 PCM의 잠열 시간이 달라진다는 점을 알 수 있었다.

Hardware Approach to Fuzzy Inference―ASIC and RISC―

  • This talk presents the overview of the author's research and development activities on fuzzy inference hardware. We involved it with two distinct approaches. The first approach is to use application specific integrated circuits (ASIC) technology. The fuzzy inference method is directly implemented in silicon. The second approach, which is in its preliminary stage, is to use more conventional microprocessor architecture. Here, we use a quantitative technique used by designer of reduced instruction set computer (RISC) to modify an architecture of a microprocessor. In the ASIC approach, we implemented the most widely used fuzzy inference mechanism directly on silicon. The mechanism is beaded on a max-min compositional rule of inference, and Mandami's method of fuzzy implication. The two VLSI fuzzy inference chips are designed, fabricated, and fully tested. Both used a full-custom CMOS technology. The second and more claborate chip was designed at the University of North Carolina(U C) in cooperation with MCNC. Both VLSI chips had muliple datapaths for rule digital fuzzy inference chips had multiple datapaths for rule evaluation, and they executed multiple fuzzy if-then rules in parallel. The AT & T chip is the first digital fuzzy inference chip in the world. It ran with a 20 MHz clock cycle and achieved an approximately 80.000 Fuzzy Logical inferences Per Second (FLIPS). It stored and executed 16 fuzzy if-then rules. Since it was designed as a proof of concept prototype chip, it had minimal amount of peripheral logic for system integration. UNC/MCNC chip consists of 688,131 transistors of which 476,160 are used for RAM memory. It ran with a 10 MHz clock cycle. The chip has a 3-staged pipeline and initiates a computation of new inference every 64 cycle. This chip achieved an approximately 160,000 FLIPS. The new architecture have the following important improvements from the AT & T chip: Programmable rule set memory (RAM). On-chip fuzzification operation by a table lookup method. On-chip defuzzification operation by a centroid method. Reconfigurable architecture for processing two rule formats. RAM/datapath redundancy for higher yield It can store and execute 51 if-then rule of the following format: IF A and B and C and D Then Do E, and Then Do F. With this format, the chip takes four inputs and produces two outputs. By software reconfiguration, it can store and execute 102 if-then rules of the following simpler format using the same datapath: IF A and B Then Do E. With this format the chip takes two inputs and produces one outputs. We have built two VME-bus board systems based on this chip for Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). The board is now installed in a robot at ORNL. Researchers uses this board for experiment in autonomous robot navigation. The Fuzzy Logic system board places the Fuzzy chip into a VMEbus environment. High level C language functions hide the operational details of the board from the applications programme . The programmer treats rule memories and fuzzification function memories as local structures passed as parameters to the C functions. ASIC fuzzy inference hardware is extremely fast, but they are limited in generality. Many aspects of the design are limited or fixed. We have proposed to designing a are limited or fixed. We have proposed to designing a fuzzy information processor as an application specific processor using a quantitative approach. The quantitative approach was developed by RISC designers. In effect, we are interested in evaluating the effectiveness of a specialized RISC processor for fuzzy information processing. As the first step, we measured the possible speed-up of a fuzzy inference program based on if-then rules by an introduction of specialized instructions, i.e., min and max instructions. The minimum and maximum operations are heavily used in fuzzy logic applications as fuzzy intersection and union. We performed measurements using a MIPS R3000 as a base micropro essor. The initial result is encouraging. We can achieve as high as a 2.5 increase in inference speed if the R3000 had min and max instructions. Also, they are useful for speeding up other fuzzy operations such as bounded product and bounded sum. The embedded processor's main task is to control some device or process. It usually runs a single or a embedded processer to create an embedded processor for fuzzy control is very effective. Table I shows the measured speed of the inference by a MIPS R3000 microprocessor, a fictitious MIPS R3000 microprocessor with min and max instructions, and a UNC/MCNC ASIC fuzzy inference chip. The software that used on microprocessors is a simulator of the ASIC chip. The first row is the computation time in seconds of 6000 inferences using 51 rules where each fuzzy set is represented by an array of 64 elements. The second row is the time required to perform a single inference. The last row is the fuzzy logical inferences per second (FLIPS) measured for ach device. There is a large gap in run time between the ASIC and software approaches even if we resort to a specialized fuzzy microprocessor. As for design time and cost, these two approaches represent two extremes. An ASIC approach is extremely expensive. It is, therefore, an important research topic to design a specialized computing architecture for fuzzy applications that falls between these two extremes both in run time and design time/cost. 로봇의 시각시스템을 위한 동영상에서 칼라정보를 이용한 얼굴 추적 (Robot vision system for face tracking using color information from video images)

  • 본 논문에서는 로봇의 시각시스템에 효과적으로 적용할 수 있는 얼굴 추적 방법을 제안하였다. 제안한 알고리즘은 동영상의 움직임 영역을 검출한 후 얼굴 영역을 추적한다. 동영상의 움직임 검출은 연속되는 2개의 프레임을 사용하여 차영상을 구한 후, 잡음을 제거하기 위한 방법으로 메디안 필터와 침식 및 팽창연산을 사용하여 움직임 영역을 검출한다. 움직임 영역에서 피부색을 추출하기 위하여 표본영상의 칼라 정보를 이용하였다. 칼라정보의 MIN-MAX값을 퍼지화 데이터로 멤버십 함수를 생성한 후, 유사도를 평가하여 피부색 영역과 배경영역을 분리하였다. 얼굴 후보영역에 대하여 CMY 칼라 공간 C 채널에서 눈을 검출하고, YIQ 칼라 공간 Q 채널에서 입을 검출하였다. 지식기반으로 검출된 눈과 입의 특징을 찾아가며 얼굴영역을 추적하였다. 실험영상으로는 10명 각각에 대하여 150프레임의 동영상 총 1,500프레임을 입력받아 실험한 결과, 1,435프레임의 영상에 대하여 움직임 영역이 검출되어 95.7%의 프레임 검출율을 보였으며, 1,401개에 대한 얼굴을 추적 97.6%의 우수한 얼굴 추적결과를 나타내었다.
