평면 엔드밀의 최적 가공조건을 위한 실험계획법의 적용 (Application of Design of Experiment Optimum Working Condition in Flat End-Milling)

  • The End-milling has been widely used in the industrial world because it is effective to cutting working with various shape. Recently the end-milling is demanded the high-precise technique with good surface roughness and rapid manufacturing time for precision machine and electronic elements. The cutting working of end-milling such as, cutting direction, revolution of spindle, feed rate and depth of cut have an effect on optimum surface roughness. This study was carried out to decide the working condition for optimum surface roughness and rapid manufacturing time by design of experiment and ANOVA. From the results of this study, the optimum working condition for end milling is upward cutting in cutting direction, 600rpm in revolution of spindle, 240mm/mm in feed rate, 2mm in axial depth of cut and 0 25mm in radial depth of cut. The design of experiment has become an useful method to select optimum working condition mend-milling.

  • End-milling have been used in the industrial world because it is very effective to the manufacture of mechanical parts with various shape. Recently the end-milling processing is needed the high-precise technique with good surface roughness and rapid time in aircraft, automobile part and molding industry. Therefore this study carried to decide the optimum cutting condition for surface roughness and rapid manufacturing time using design of experiment and ANOVA. From the results of experimentation, surface roughness have an effect on cutting direction, spindle speed and depth of cut. And then the optimum condition used Taguchi design is upward cutting in cutting direction, 600rpm in spindle speed, 240mm/min feed rate, 2mm in axial depth of cut and 0.25mm radial depth of cut. By using design of experiment, it is effectively represented shape characteristics of working surface in end-milling.

  • End-milling have been widely used in aircraft, automobile part and moulding industry. However, various working factors such as spindle speed, feed rate and depth of cut in end-milling have an effect on spindle vibration. There it is demanded the quantitative analysis of spindle vibration in order to get the optimum surface roughness. This study was carried out to analyze an influence of working factors on spindle vibration by design of Experiment. The results are shown that mathematical model of regression equation for an influence of working factors on vibration acceleration of spindle in end-milling by regression analysis is presented.

The working factors of high speed end-milling has an effect on surface roughness of cutting surface. Therefore this study was carried out to analyze the working factors to get the optimum surface roughness by design of experiment. From this study, surface roughness have an much effect according to priority on Spindle speed, feed rale, hardness and axial depth of cut By design of experiment, it is effectively represented shape characteristics of surface roughness in high speed end-milling And determination($R^2$) coefficient of regression equation had a satisfactory reliability of 89.7% and regression equation of surface roughness is made by regression analysis.

By design of experiment, it is effectively represented shape characteristics of surface roughness in high speed end-milling. And determination($R^2$) coefficient of regression equation had a satisfactory reliability of 76.3% and regression equation of surface roughness is made by regression analysis.

  • 수확시기가 벼의 도정특성과 이화학특성에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 중만생 품종인 대안벼의 수확시기별 도정 특성을 조사한 결과, 출수 후 45일째(10월 15일) 수확시 도정율은 75.97%, 백미완전립율은 93.33%로 가장 높았다. 출수 후 35일에 조기 수확하면 단백질함량과 아밀로스함량이 높았다. 따라서 중만생 품종인 대안벼의 수확적기는 도정 및 이화학특성으로 볼 때 출수 후 $45{\sim}55$일이 가장 유리하였다.

  • In milling process, monitoring and diagosis system is very importent to accomplish factory automation. In this study, to drvelope on-line tool breakage detection system in face milling operation, analysis and experiment were performed. The tool breakage detection experiment was performed in machining center and the effectiveness of the detection tool breakage detection alorithm and the usage of feed drive current as a detection signal were verified.

  • The applicability of a new method, termed the whirling motion concept, for the iprovement of the surface finish in milling three-dimensional sculptured surfaces has been investigated. A method for implementing this concept on conventional NC machines that utilize a suitably configured attachment has been proposed. The tool path equation for the ball-end milling process, based on the Surface-Shaping system, has been obtained. Both results of the computer simulation and the experiment verified the computer simulation and the experiment verified the proposed approach.

  • 1. 통일벼의 도정에 있어서 현백율은 회전 950 rpm, 로울러입도 36 mesh, 90% 유량일 때 수율이 좋고 정미능력은 회전 1050 rpm, 로울러입도 40 mesh, 유량 100%일 때가 가장 좋다. 2. 통일쌀의 단백질함량은 기존 품종보다 약 1% 높았다. 3. 도정에 따라 지방, 회분 섬유 비타민 $B_1$, $B_2$ 성분의 변화가 가장 심하였고 10분도미에 비하여 7분도미로 할 경우 지방은 10% 비타민 $B_1$은 30%, $B_2$는 20%의 손실을 막을 수 있었다.

벼의 함수율에 따른 도정수율의 변화 (Milled Rice Recovery Rate of Paddy with Various Moisture Contents)

  • In order to investigate the optimum moisture content of paddy for milling process, a series of tests were conducted by examining the recovery rate and whiteness of milled rice in relation with the various moisture content. Hwabong-byeo and Dongjin-byeo varieties which were major paddies cultivated in Korea were used for the experiment. The test was performed with small experimental milling machines. In order to minimize the unexpected factors, environment conditions were kept in constant during the experiment. As a result, the recovery rate of milled rice were varied as the changes in milling time and degree of whiteness. However, the recovery rate of milled rice increases as its moisture content increases untill a certain point of moisture content and decreases slowly afterward. This certain point can be called optimum moisture content for rice milling. Also, it has a different value depending on the variety. In this experiment, optimum moisture content of Hwabong-byeo and Dongjin-byeo were considered around 14.8% and 15.3%, respectively. It is not sure that these optimum moisture contents for the two varieties would assume the same values irrespective of harvest year and place. However, it could be concluded that the optimum moisture content for rice milling is around 15%(w.b.) for Hwabong-byeo and 15.5%(w.b.) for Dongjin-byeo, respectively.
