조종날개가 장착된 탄도수정탄의 자이로안정성 및 항력 특성 연구 (Gyroscopic Stability and Drag Characteristics Study of Canard-Installed Course Correction Munition)

  • This paper describes the gyroscopic stability and the drag characteristics of the smart munition with a course correction fuze(CCF). A ballistic analysis was conducted to figure out the effect of the canards on the gyroscopic stability of the projectile. The analysis used the commercial ammunition performance evaluation software: Projectile Design and Analysis System(PRODAS). In particular, we compared the PRODAS analysis results to real field test results to investigate the influence of the CCF mounted projectile. In addition, some ballistic simulations were carried out to provide the conditions suitable for wind tunnel tests. Experimental results show that the added drag force by the canards is almost uniform regardless of the Mach number when the projectile is at the normal position where the angle of rotation and the angle of attack are both 0 degrees. However, as the angle of attack of the projectile increases, the additional drag force depends on the deflection of the canards.

여군 전투복의 치수 및 동작적합성 평가 (Evaluation of the Fit and Motion Suitability for Korean Female Combat Uniforms)

  • This study investigated the problems of Korean female combat uniforms and collected primary data for developing new combat uniforms with improved functionality. We analyzed fit and motion suitability by administering a questionnaire evaluating the current uniforms to 20 Korean female soldiers. The evaluation of fit suitability found that satisfaction with the combat uniforms was generally high. However, short sleeve length, large wrist circumference, small hip circumference, large ankle circumference, and low crotch height were discomfort factors. In the evaluation of motion suitability, dissatisfaction was found with the sleeve circumference, elbow circumference, armhole circumference, knee crease and crotch height, and back waist height during motion. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a more segmented size system that suits the physique of current female soldiers and to devise appropriate solutions for improving motion suitability. This study is meaningful for its evaluation of the current combat uniform of female soldiers, and it is expected to serve as a reference for the future development of military combat uniforms for this group.

  • 드론의 위협은 군사 분야뿐만 아니라 공항이나 원전 등 국가 중요 시설에 대하여 광범위하게 발생하고 있다. 드론은 종류나 조종 통제방식 등이 매우 다양하여 획일적으로 방어하는 방법과 시스템을 갖추기가 쉽지 않으며, 드론 기술의 발전에 따라 이를 무기로 활용한 전쟁 패러다임도 변화하고 있다. 특히 드론 기술의 발전으로 인해 정찰 및 공격 임무의 효율성과 정확성이 향상되고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 군사작전에 대한 정보획득에 어려움으로 인하여 드론의 군사적 운용에 관한 연구사례 확보가 매우 어렵다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 정찰 및 공격 임무 수행 드론의 운용사례 분석을 통하여 각각의 운용양상을 도출하여 정찰과 공격 임무 수행 계획을 효과적으로 수립할 수 있는 기초 자료를 만들고자 한다.

근대(近代) 한국복식(韓國服飾)의 변화(變化) 요인(要因) (The Factors of Korean Costume's Change in the Modern Times)

  • Since Korea opened the door to the Western World, traditional costume has changed. The factors of change are as follows: 1) Cultural diffusion by the cultural contact is the foundamental factor of the costume change. 2) The government made edicts of clothing reform. The formal dresses of government official were simplified several times, the edict was issued for men to cut off their hair, and military uniform and government officials' dresses were west-ernized. 3) The diffusion of modernized education by the missionary school accerlerated clothing change. Students were ahead of the abolition of Suege-Chima (which is a sort of veil used to conceal woman's face). 4) The change in the activity of women in society made the women's dresses more convenient for action. 5) The open class system and social agitation speeded up the rate of change. During the Yi Dynasty class distinction was rigid, but the government made the laws which abolished the class distiction.

  • In this thesis which takes fashion advertising that functions a marketing communication as an objective, I try to bear witness to the signifying system of garments though analyzing with semiotic methodology the signifying procedure on the base of the structural concept of Ferdinand de Saussure and the advertisement semiotic theory of Roland Barthes, to make clear their signifying structure and it meaning by understanding the characteristics of contemporary society and its cognitive system. Each sign of fashion advertising transfers the brand image through syntagmatic signification which contains the mythology of goods. Mannish style is encoded as tailored jacket, white shirt, H-silhouette and pants, non-color or being color, and it is presented as a clothing sign of casual wear for career women. Feminine style is encoded as X-silhouette, soutien collar suit style, various colors, and other details with womanly image, and it is presented as a clothing sign for maid or young wife 20\`s or 30\`s. Formal style is encoded as jacket vest, inner wear(blouse), two and three piece dress by pants or skirt and one-piece dress, and it is used in every age and class. Casual style is similar to formal style, but differs only in textile code. Clothing sign for housewives in middle age is encoded as H-silhouette of formal style, long jacket and pants and brown, being and grey colors. Contemporary popular phenomena in the signification of fashion advertising, and its temporal ideology reflected are as follows; According to the context of fashion advertising in the middle of 1990\`s, its fashion is that first, military look applied from the designs of various sort of military uniform and vest look and pant style applied from dandy-style imitated from man\`s wear are popuar. This mean that it reflects the change of point of view on woman\`s role in society today. That is, due to the equality between man and woman, it mirrors the ideology of feminism, and then, describes beautifully professional woman with carrer. Second, because that individualism is underlied for the change of consumer\`s consciousness, standardized popularity is disappeared, and in accordance with the mixture of various trends and personalities proposed every season, layered look that emphasizes individualism, easiness and naturalness is popular.

Intelligent Intrusion Detection and Prevention System using Smart Multi-instance Multi-label Learning Protocol for Tactical Mobile Adhoc Networks

  • Security has become one of the major concerns in mobile adhoc networks (MANETs). Data and voice communication amongst roaming battlefield entities (such as platoon of soldiers, inter-battlefield tanks and military aircrafts) served by MANETs throw several challenges. It requires complex securing strategy to address threats such as unauthorized network access, man in the middle attacks, denial of service etc., to provide highly reliable communication amongst the nodes. Intrusion Detection and Prevention System (IDPS) undoubtedly is a crucial ingredient to address these threats. IDPS in MANET is managed by Command Control Communication and Intelligence (C3I) system. It consists of networked computers in the tactical battle area that facilitates comprehensive situation awareness by the commanders for timely and optimum decision-making. Key issue in such IDPS mechanism is lack of Smart Learning Engine. We propose a novel behavioral based "Smart Multi-Instance Multi-Label Intrusion Detection and Prevention System (MIML-IDPS)" that follows a distributed and centralized architecture to support a Robust C3I System. This protocol is deployed in a virtually clustered non-uniform network topology with dynamic election of several virtual head nodes acting as a client Intrusion Detection agent connected to a centralized server IDPS located at Command and Control Center. Distributed virtual client nodes serve as the intelligent decision processing unit and centralized IDPS server act as a Smart MIML decision making unit. Simulation and experimental analysis shows the proposed protocol exhibits computational intelligence with counter attacks, efficient memory utilization, classification accuracy and decision convergence in securing C3I System in a Tactical Battlefield environment.

Arm Armor System Performance Study: Net Effect (Perceptual Response) Analysis

  • This study compares the net effect of wearing different shoulder/arm armor systems on garment impediment perception and wearer acceptability. Two independent variables in this study were armor systems and shoulder/ arm movements. There were four armor systems of control garment and arm armor systems A, B, and C as well as five types of arm/shoulder movements, (shoulder flexion, should extension, shoulder abduction, shoulder horizontal flexion, and shoulder horizontal extension). Ten male volunteers wearing size medium battle dress uniform (BDU) with recent relevant military experience participated in this study. The volunteers performed shoulder/arm movements (while wearing each armor treatments) and completed the garment impediment perception as well as wearer acceptability scales. The body areas of neck side, shoulder top, and armscye front showed the highest frequency of reported impediments. Resistance to movement and localized pressure were the most frequently mentioned types of impediment. The armor system B had the most areas of impediment, and was rated as more restrictive than the control garment and armor system A for each movement. For wearer acceptability, no significant differences were found between the control garment and armor system A for all eight items; this indicated that subjects did not perceive a difference between wearing the control garment and armor system A. There was a trend for wearer acceptability to decrease from wearing the control garment to armor systems A to C to B.

금속복합판재 적용 다층 구조 방호성능 평가 (Metal Matrix Composite(MMC) Layered Armour System)

  • 새로운 공정으로 제작한 금속판재(MMC)가 운동에너지탄을 막는 부가방호구조로 적용가능성을 확인하기 위해 고속충돌시험 및 수치계산으로 평가연구를 수행하였다. 충돌속도는 1.3 km/s 이상에서 우선적으로 수직충돌상황만 고려하였다. 연강의 반무한판에 대한 침투깊이를 기준값으로 설정하고 새로운 부가장갑을 설치하는 경우에 대해 침투깊이 및 질량효율을 비교 검토하였다. MMC판재의 제작은 한국재료연구소에서 이루어졌으며, 이 재료에 대한 고속변형 물성은 포항공과대학에서 수행되었다. 결과는 다음과 같이 요약된다. (1) 연강 반무한판에 세라믹 판재를 부가하는 것만으로도 방호성능 감소 없이 중량이득이 나타난다. (2) 세라믹 판재 앞뒷면에 연성의 금속을 추가 부가하면 중량 증대 없이도 방호성능은 다소 증가하였다. 이는 세라믹을 감싸는 효과가 일부 나타난 것으로 판단된다. (3) 세라믹 판재 앞뒷면에 부가된 연성의 금속을 MMC로 변경한 경우 방호성능 감소 없이 방호성능이 추가적으로 다소 증대되었다. 이것은 단순 연성의 금속보다는 연성과 취성을 모두 지니는 MMC가 바람직한 역할을 수행하였다고 보인다. 즉 세라믹을 감싸는 encapsule 효과 및 탄 저지력이 우수한 세라믹의 취성이 동시에 나타남을 의미한다. (4) 마지막으로 현재의 자료만으로는 강화재로 SiC와 B4C중에 우열을 가리기에는 미소한 차이만 발생하기에 부족함이 있다.

Design of Microstrip Antenna for Satellite Navigation System Jamming

  • This paper proposed a microstrip antenna that can perform jamming of satellite signals from the GPS L5, GLONASS G3, BDS B2 frequency bands (1164 - 1217 MHz) that are employed mainly for military purposes among the GNSS frequencies using unmanned aircrafts over the enemy's sky in time of emergency. The single element in the proposed antenna can be easily mounted to unmanned aircrafts. This study analyzed the characteristics of miniaturization and beam of radiating elements by applying the image theories and perturbation effect to satisfy the uniform level at ${\pm}45^{\circ}$ of beam steering goal due to the phase delay after antenna array. The designed microstrip antenna had a miniaturized radiating element area (x-y plane), which was reduced by 76.3% compared to that of basic microstrip antenna, and its beam width was $190^{\circ}$ in the E-plane and $140^{\circ}$ in the H plane. In addition, the simulation was conducted to determine the characteristics due to the phase delay by arranging the designed single microstrip antenna by $1{\times}4$ array and the results showed that beam steering of ${\pm}45^{\circ}$ is possible in the H-plane on the basis of $0^{\circ}$. Thus, the proposed antenna was verified to be effective in satellite signal jamming in the air as it was attached to the lower end of unmanned aircrafts.

우리나라 다목적 공연장의 탄생배경에 관한 소고 (A Brief Review of Backgrounds behind "Multi-Purpose Performance Halls" in South Korea)

  • 이 연구는 군사정권의 권력 전개양상에서 드러나는 문화정책이념이 '다목적 공연장'의 개념형성으로 발현되는 과정을 살펴보는데 있다. 한국의 공연장 현황은 우리나라 공연문화와 깊은 관계가 있다. 각 지방자치단체마다 그 지역을 대표하는 문화예술회관(문예회관)을 중심으로 한국의 공연문화와 향유문화가 깊이 자리 잡고 있기 때문이다. 오늘날 문예회관들은 다목적홀로 운영되고 있으며 운영주체는 절대다수 정부와 지방정부 또는 출자출연기관의 재단법인 등 공공영역에서 운영한다. 따라서 정부와 지방정부의 문화예술정책의 대상이며 제도적 측면과 긴밀한 상관관계를 가지게 된다. 박정희 정권은 초헌법적인 유신을 공포하고 우리나라 문화예술법의 시초라고 할 수 있는 「문화예술진흥법」(1972.9)을 제정한다. 이법을 근거로 「문예중흥5개년계획」(1973)을 수립하고 문화시설들을 짓기 시작했다. 전국의 '문화예술'회관, 또는 '문화'회관이 다목적홀로 지어진 데에는 문화예술진흥법의 "문화예술"에 대한 정의를 "문학, 미술, 음악, 연예 및 출판에 관한 사항"으로 명시함으로써 지금의 '다목적'개념의 근거가 된다. 한편, 문화공보부의 조직직제는 "문화와 예술"을 관장함을 명시하고 대중문화와 예술진흥을 구분 짓는 문화행정체계를 갖춘다. 그러나 이시기 대통령의 연설에 나타난 박정희의 화법은 '문화예술=예술'로 인식하고 있다. 예술은 문화에 포함되는 개념이지만 문화예술=예술로 인식함으로써 정치적 시국이나 시행부서에 따라 그 해석을 달리하였고, 이러한 모호성은 예술이 이데올로기적 활용에 정책적으로 동원되는 기제가 된다. 이러한 배경에서 문화예술진흥법에 근거하고 문화공보부의 관장 하에 1978년 다목적 공연장인 세종문화회관이 개관한다. 그러나 제도상의 문화예술=다목적과 설립을 추진했던 정부조직의 문화≠예술, 권력이 인식했던 문화예술=예술은 대중음악의 대관문제를 두고 가치충돌로 표출된다. 1979년 12·12사태로 정권을 장악한 신군부는 민족문화를 앞세운 국풍81을 통해 저항세력을 체제 안으로 끌어들이고자 했다. 정권의 의도는 실패하였고, 저항과 지지의 양축에서 국민적 지지를 확보하는 방안으로 국민의 문화향유 기회확대 정책에 방점을 둔다. 이는 앞 정권의 문화예술에 관한 인식의 전환이며 박정희 정권과의 차별화를 추구한 것이다. 전두환 정권에 있어 앞 정권과의 차별성은 곧 정권의 정당성 확보를 의미하는 것이었고 향유기회의 확대는 문화영역의 분배 차원에서 추진되었다. 따라서 장기적인 안목의 예술발전으로 자리매김 되지 못했고 하드웨어의 상징성으로 정권의 정당성 확보를 실현하려고 하였다. 오늘날 다목적 공연장의 개념은 유신체제하에 만들어진 법체계의 "문화예술"의 정의에 기인한 것이며 이를 근거하여 공공 공연장의 운영목적으로 '다목적'의 개념이 탄생한다. 군사정권을 이은 전두환 정권은 프로시니엄 구조의 다목적 공연장을 정권의 정당성 확보의 수단으로 표출하였고, 전국적으로 재생산 되어 오늘날 한국의 공연문화에 중요한 비중을 차지하고 있다.
