A Note on the Selected Multicriteria Decision Methods and Their Applications

  • In this study, we are concerned with the comparative aspects of five selected methods of decision making with respect to their adequacy in helping complex decisions about real-world problems. We examine the methods in terms of outlines, procedures and advantages/disadvantages to identify similarities and differences among them with the aim of showing which method is more likely to gain greater attention both in academia and in practice. To illustrate different courses of deployment of the methods, we offer an application with a case of airport transportation project in this paper. Some discussions on AHP and other methods are presented.

마이크로 스트립에 기초한 불연속 선로의 모델링 및 해석을 위한 유한차분법의 적용 (Applications to the FDTD Technique for Modeling and Characterization of Microstrip Based Discontinuity Structure)

  • 불연속 전송선로를 해석하기 위한 유용한 방법으로서 유한요소법이나 공간도메인법등과 같은 주파수영역 해석법과 선로제작에 기초한 파라미터 측정법등이 사용된다. 시간영역의 유한차분법은 한번의 모의실험을 통해 주파수 의존적인 파라미터값을 구할수있어 불연속선로를 해석하는데 매우 효과적이다. 본 논문에서는 마이크로 스트립에 기초한 몇가지 형태의 2 포트 불연속 회로망 즉, 케스케이된 스텝 불연속 선로와 레이스트렉 지연선 및 단일 스터브 필터에 대한 정확한 모델링과 해석을 위하여 시간영역의 유한차분법의 적용방법이 논의된다. 2 포트 회로망으로 구성된 평면형 마이크로 스트립 불연속선로를 해석하기 위하여 일반적으로 분산 파라미터에 기초한 해석절차가 사용된다. 주파수 의존적인 분산 파라미터는 시간영역의 유한차분법에 의해 모니터된 입사, 반사 및 투과된 전압으로 부터 고속푸리에 변환을 통해 얻어지고, 또한 그 결과를 공간-스펙트랄 방법 및 모멘트 방법의 결과와 비교함으로써 시간영역의 유한차분법이 다양한 형태의 불연속 선로에 성공적으로 적용됨을 볼 수 있다.

스텔스 전투기 캐노피를 위한 투명 전자파 흡수구조 설계 (Design of Transparent Electromagnetic Absorbing Structure for Stealth Aircraft Canopy)

  • In this paper, transparent circuit analog radar absorbing structure with angular stability for stealth aircraft canopy was proposed and designed. To obtain wideband electromagnetic absorption, optical transparency and smaller thickness, we proposed the novel FSS(Frequency Selective Surface) for X-band and implemented the resistive FSS and PEC(Perfect Electric Conductor) plane using ITO(Indium Thin Oxide) coating with optical transmissivity of 90 %. Reflection loss characteristics for different incident angles of both TE(Transverse Electric) and TM(Transverse Magnetic) polarizations are presented through simulations. We then fabricated the proposed structure to verify the simulation results. The comparisons between the simulation and measured results show good agreements. The results also show that the proposed radar absorbing structure can provide better frequency stability for different incidence angles and polarizations as well as optical transparency. We can apply this proposed structure to the canopy of stealth aircraft and other stealth applications for visible transparency.

TOF기반의 2D LADAR 센서 개발 및 1축 구동장치를 활용한 3D 정보 획득에 대한 연구 (Development of a TOF LADAR Sensor and A Study on 3D Infomation Acquisition using Single Axis Driving Device)

  • LADARs are used for important sensors in various applications, for example, terrain information sensors in self driving cars, safety sensors for factory automation, and 3D map constructions. This study develop important component technologies to improve the performance of a LADAR system under development in Korea. The component technologies include diode temperature regulation, reducing distance error in outdoor environment, and signal processing technique for better detection of distant objects. This paper explains the suggested component technologies and experimental results of the developed LADAR system. Also, the developed system is operated and tested an a single axis driving platform to acquire 3D information from 2D LADAR.

항공기 야간투시경 운용 (Operation of Night Vision Goggle for Aircraft)

  • This paper describes the general considerations and operational applications of aircraft night vision goggle(NVG). The operators should recognize the NVG characteristics, natural night light sources and interoperability between them. And they have to keep attention to the method to take steps to avoid misperceptions, illusions during flight, and the negative impact on the effectiveness and safety of the mission. The considerations based on the interoperability between NVG and night operation suggest the evaluation items of NVG field test and flight test.

방공교전모델(DADSim) 개발 및 활용사례 (Distributed Air Defense Simulation Model and its Applications)

  • In this paper, air-defense simulation model, called "DADSim", will be introduced. DADSim(Distributed Air Defense Simulation Model) was developed by Modeling&Simulation Lab of K.N.D.U.(Korea National Defence Univ) Weapon Systems Department. This model is an analysis-purpose model in the engagement-level. DADSim can simulate not only the global air-defense or Korean Peninsula but also the local air-defense or a battle field. DADSim uses the DTED(digital terrain elevation data) LeveII it for the representation of peninsula terrain characteristics. The weapon systems cooperated in the model are low/medium-range missile systems such as HAWK, NIKE, SAM. DADSim was designed in the way of object-oriented development method, implemented by C++ language. The simulation view is an event-sequenced object-orientation. For the convenience of input, output analysis, GUI(Graphic User Interface) of menu, window, dialog box, etc. are provided to the user, For the execution of DADSim, Silicon Graphic IRIX 6.3 or high version is required. DADSim can be used for the effectiveness analysis of­defence systems. Some illustrative examples will be shown in this paper.

우주항공용 저온 경화 접착제의 고온 물성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Adhesive Crosslinked in Low Temperature for High Temperature Aerospace Application)

  • A high temperature adhesive development which is crosslinked in low temperature is necessary for aerospace application because of thermal expansion mismatches of various substrates. For this purpose, we have designed and fabricated several formulations with high temperature epoxy resins, crosslinkers and additives considering various working conditions and high service temperature. As a result, some formulations showed higher adhesive strengths than Hysol EA 9394/C2 which is widely used for aerospace applications. We also have studied and summarized the mechanical properties of the best development adhesive in both room and high temperatures.

  • 해병대에 근무하는 병사들의 복무만족도, 특히 군수지원 측면에서 얼마나 만족하는지 알아보기 위해 군수분야 제 요인들에 대한 상호 인과관계를 구조방정식 모형을 이용하여 분석하였다. 이를 위해 해병대 복무만족도, 보급의만족도, 신뢰성, 적시성, 적절성, 군수품의 경제적운용 총 6개의 변수를 사용하여 각 변수들 간의 영향, 그리고 최종적으로 해병대 복무만족도에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 알아보았다. 분석대상은 단순히 해병대 전체 병사로 국한하지 않고 접적지역과 후방지역 근무자들로 구분하여 알아보았다. 그 결과 양개지역 모두 보급물량의 적절성을 가장 중요하게 생각하였으며 접적지역은 보급의 적시성, 후방지역은 신뢰성이 가장 중요하게 여기는 것을 고려해 볼 때 지역적 특성이 반영된 것을 알 수 있었다. 분석방법은 군 특성상 많은 표본의 확보가 어렵고 특히 접적지역 부대는 더욱 어려워 전통적인 LISREL대신 PLS(partial least square) 방법을적용하고, 설문자료가 리커트척도에 의한 순서형자료임에 따라 연속형자료로 전환하여 분석함으로서 통계분석의 정확도를 보다 더 높일 수 있도록 하였다.

국내외 드론산업 동향 분석을 통한 공공분야에서의 드론 활용방안에 대한 연구 (A Study on Utilization of Drone for Public Sector by Analysis of Drone Industry)

  • The drone is an unmanned aerial vehicle which has no human pilot. Drones can be classified into military drones, commercial drones, and personal drones by usage. Also, drones can be classified from large-sized to nano-sized drone by size and autonomous, remote controlled drone by control type. Especially, military drones can be classified into low-altitude drones, medium-altitude, and high-altitude drones by altitude. Recently, the drone industry is one of the fast growing industries in the world. As drone technologies have become more advanced and cost-effective, Korean government has set its goal to become a top-level country in drone business. However, the government's strict regulation for drone operations is one of the biggest hurdles for the development of the related technologies in Korea and other countries. For example, critical problems for drone delivery can be classified into technical issues and institutional issues. Technical issues include durability, conditional awareness, grasp and release mechanisms, collision avoidance systems, drone operating system. Institutional issues include pilot and operator licensing, privacy rules, noise guidelines, security rules, education for drone police. This study analyzes the trends of the drone industry from the viewpoint of technology and regulation. Also, we define the business areas of drone utilization. Especially, the drone business types or models for public sector are proposed. Drone services or functions promoting public interests need to be aligned with the business reference model of Korean government. To define ten types of drone uses for public sector, we combine the business types of government with the future uses of drones that are proposed by futurists and business analysts. Future uses of drones can be divided into three sectors or services. First, drone services for public or military sectors include early warning systems, emergency services, news reporting, police drones, library drones, healthcare drones, travel drones. Second, drone services for commercial or industrial services include parcel delivery drones, gaming drones, sporting drones, farming and agriculture drones, ranching drones, robotic arm drones. Third, drone services for household sector include smart home drones.

Performance Simulations of Wireless Grid Communication Networks

  • 위성 통신은 지상 무선국과 위성 사이의 통신으로, 지상 무선국을 유기적으로 활용함으로써 효율적인 위성 통신이 가능하다. 무선 통신은 이동성, 지형 및 방해 신호가 중요한 성능 결정 요인이며, 그리드 네트워크의 한 요소이다. 따라서 그리드 네트워크의 지속적인 연구 성과를 차기 위성 통신에 적용할 수 있을 것이다. 군 통신은 무선 시스템을 기반으로 사용하기에, 군 통신에서 많이 사용하고 있는 라우팅 프로토콜, OSFP (Open Short Path First) 를 적용하여 그리드 네트워크의 성능 향상을 위한 시뮬레이션을 실시하였다. 본 논문에서는 BER (Bit Error Rate) 및 라우터 수에 따른 성능 변화와 그에 의한 네트워크의 MSS (Maximum Segment Size)를 연구하였으며, 그 결과를 제시하였다. 연구 결과를 통하여 다양한 BER 및 라우터 수에서 최적의 MSS를 확인할 수 있었다.
