인구 규모별 인구이동 특성과 인구이동률 네트워크 분석 (Migration Characteristics by the Regional Population Scale and Network Analysis of Population Movement Rate)

  • In countries and regions population plays an important role. Recently the importance of population migration increased as population growth slowed. Researches on population migration are mainly focused on the analysis of the population movement factors and the regional structure analysis using the network analysis method. Analysis of regional structure through population movement is not enough to explain the phenomenon of migration of small cities and rural regions. In this study, to overcome the limit of previous studies the characteristics of the population movement rate according to the size of the population were analyzed. Also network analysis using the population movement OD (Origin and Destination) and population movement rate OD were conducted and the results of them were compared. As the results of analysis by the regional population scale, the population movement by population size showed a big difference in the areas with more than 100 thousand people and less than 100 thousand people. Migration to the outside of the province was the most frequent in regions with 30,000~50,000 people. The population migration rate network analysis result showed that the new area with large population inflow capacity was identified, which could not be found in the population movement network analysis because population movement number is small. The population movement rate irate is expected to be used to identify the central regions of the province and to analyze the difference in resident attractiveness.

경기만 남부지역 사퇴 위에 발달된 dune의 이동 (Dune Migration on an Offshore Sand Ridge in the Southern Gyeonggi Bay, Korea)

  • Two surveys were conducted in January 2006 and September 2007 with multibeam echosounder to investigate the dune shape, migration rate, and bedload transport rate using dune-tracking method on an offshore sand ridge at southern Gyeonggi Bay. The migration rates of dunes range from 1.8 $myr^{-1}$) to 56.0 $myr^{-1}$), at the upper northwestern side of sand ridge towards the southwest direction and from the center of the sand ridge towards the northeast direction respectively. Large (i.e. length 10-100 m) dunes show faster migration (0.3-23.4 $myr^{-1}$) ) than very large (i.e. length > 100 m) dunes because larger dunes have required a larger volume of sediments to be displaced. The decreases in dimensions and migration rates of dunes from the center of sand ridge to the lower part of southeastern side on the sand ridge can be ascribed to the decrease of sandy sediments availability, tidal currents with depth, and the coarsening of surface sediments from the crest of the sand ridge to the trough. Bedload transport rates on the basis of migration rates and dune dimensions decrease from 74.5 $m^2yr^{-1}$) at C transect to 35.6 $m^2yr^{-1}$) at R-02 transect.

연령별 인구이동 특성에 대한 탐색적 공간 데이터 분석 (ESDA) : 대구시를 사례로 (Exploratory Spatial Data Analysis (ESDA) for Age-Specific Migration Characteristics : A Case Study on Daegu Metropolitan City)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 연령별 인구이동의 구조와 공간적 패턴에 대한 이해를 향상시킬 수 있는 다양한 탐색적 공간 데이터 분석(Exploratory Spatial Data Analysis: ESDA) 기법들을 제시하는데 있다. ESDA 기법의 하나로 지역의 연령별 이동성향과 이동구조를 파악하기 위한 도구로 인구이동 피라미드를 고안하였다. 인구이동 피라미드는 연령별 전입, 전출, 순이동 정보를 이용하여 작성되는 그래픽 도구이다. 또한 연령별 인구이동의 공간적 패턴을 파악하기 위하여 다양한 국지적 연관성 측정 지표인 Local Moran's $I_i$, Getis-Ord's ${G_i}^*$와 이를 응용한 AMOEBA 기법을 이용하였다. 사례 분석 결과, 제시한 ESDA 기법들을 이용하여 연령별 인구이동 구조, 연령별 이동의 연관성, 연령별 순이동률의 공간 군집 패턴 등을 확인할 수 있었으며, 연령별 공간 군집 사이의 상응관계를 탐색할 수 있었다. 이러한 정보는 인구이동 현상에 대한 상세한 이해뿐만 아니라 인구이동을 유발하는 지역의 특성을 유추하는데 도움을 준다.

일관성 함수적 자료모형을 활용한 국제인구이동의 확률적 예측 (Stochastic projection on international migration using Coherent functional data model)

  • OECD (2015)과 UN (2017)에 따르면 한국은 입국의 나라로 분류되고 있다. 입국의 나라는 순이동(net migration)이 양으로 유지된다는 것을 뜻하며, 동시에 국제이동이 인구증가에 영향을 미칠 가능성이 높음을 의미한다. 통계청 (2011)은 이전 추계와는 달리 인구이동요인을 고려한 Wilson (2010)모형을 기반으로 성별 및 입 출국을 구분하여 모수가 15개 이상인 모형을 이용하였다. 그리고 5년 뒤 2016년 추계에서는 최근 5년간의 내국인 순이동률 평균치와 외국인 정부정책을 반영한 값을 가정하였다. 하지만 이 두 결과 모두 국제이동이 보수적으로 추정되어 입국의 나라로 추정하는 OECD, UN의 분류와는 다른 결과를 제공한다. 따라서 본 연구는 입국, 출국 그리고 순이동의 국제이동추이가 선형이 아닌 비선형임을 착안하여 우리나라 2000-2017년 국제이동 자료에 함수적 자료모형을 활용한 비모수 모형 (Hyndman과 Ullah (2007)이 제안한 FDM, Hyndman 등 (2013)가 제안한 Coherent FDM)을 적용하여 확률론적 추계방식으로 향후 추이를 예측하였다. 분석결과 입국률은 2018년 인구천명당 1.098명(남자), 1.026명(여자), 2025년 1.228명(남자), 1.152명(여자) 그리고 출국률은 2018년 인구천명당 0.907명(남자), 0.879명(여자), 2025년 0.987명(남자), 0.959명(여자)으로 나타났다. 따라서 순이동률은 인구천명당 2018년 0.191명(남자), 0.148명(여자), 2025년 0.241명(남자), 0.192명(여자)으로 증가하는 결과가 도출되었다.

지역 간 인구이동과 지역경제성장의 동태적 특징에 관한 실증 분석 (Analysis on the Dynamic Characteristics of Migration and Regional Economic Growth between Regions)

  • 지역 간 인구이동요인은 개인의 라이프코스에 기인하여 세대별·연령별로 차이가 존재하므로 지역경제성장이 인구이동에 미치는 영향도 연령별로 다를 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 지역경제성장의 변화가 지역 간 인구이동에 미치는 영향을 연령별로 구분하여 실증 분석하였다. 분석결과를 요약하자면, 첫째, 연령층과 상관없이 지역의 경제성장률과 일자리 증가율의 상승은 순이동률을 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 청년층은 중장년층에 비해 지역경제성장률과 일자리 증가율이 순이동률에 미치는 영향이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 25-29세 연령층은 개인소득수준, 40-64세 중장년층은 지가변동수준의 지역 간 격차가 순이동률에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 분석결과를 볼 때, 지역 간 인구이동에서 지역경제성장은 여전히 중요한 요인으로 작용하고 있으며, 특히 청년층에게 영향력이 큰 것을 알 수 있었다.

Development of a model to forecast the external migration rate in development projects reflecting city characteristics

  • In planning public service systems such as waterworks, the design population is very important factor. Owing to the limitations of the indirect method, two new models, which take into consideration urban characteristics, were developed to accurately predict external migration rate (EMR), which is an essential component in estimating reliably the design population. The root mean square error (RMSE) between the model values and observed values were 10.12 and 15.58 for the metropolitan cities and counties respectively and were lower compared to RMSE values of 27.31 and 28.79 obtained by the indirect method. Thus, the developed models provide a more accurate estimate of EMR than the indirect method. In addition, the major influencing factors for external migration in counties were development type, ageing index, number of businesses. On the other hand, the major influencing migration factors for cities were project scale, distance to city center, manufacturing size, population growth rate and residential environment. Future medium and long-term studies would be done to identify emerging trends to appropriately inform policy making.

The implementation of the Multi-population Genetic Algorithm using Fuzzy Logic Controller

  • A Genetic algorithm is a searching algorithm that based on the law of the survival of the fittest. Multi-population Genetic Algorithms are a modified form of genetic algorithm. Therefore, experience with fuzzy logic and genetic algorithm has proven to be that a combination of them can efficiently make up for their own deficiency. The Multi-population Genetic Algorithms independently evolve subpopulations. In this paper, we suggest a new coding method that independently evolves subpopulations using the fuzzy logic controller. The fuzzy logic controller has applied two fuzzy logic controllers that are implemented to adaptively adjust the crossover rate and mutation rate during the optimization process. The migration scheme in the multi-population genetic algorithms using fuzzy logic controllers is tested for a function optimization problem, and compared with other group migration schemes, therefore the groups migration scheme is then performed. The results demonstrate that the migration scheme in the multi-population genetic algorithms using fuzzy logic controller has a much better performance.

  • Grid 컴퓨팅 환경에서 Risk-resilient 한 Job 수행을 보장하기 위해 그 동안 Job migration 기법이 연구되어 왔으나, 자원 재선정 및 Job 이동/재할당에 따른 기준의 단순성으로 인해, Migration에 따른 Job 수행의 이득과 손실이 정확하게 판별되지 못한 경향이 있었다. 따라서 본고에서는 Job failure Rate을 바탕으로 특정 Job의 확률적 수행 지연 시간을 추정하고, 이를 이용하여 Migration gain을 평가하는 모델을 제안한다.

조리방법을 달리한 쥐눈이콩의 인체유방암세포 이동성 억제 효과 (Inhibitory Effects on Human Breast Cancer Cells Migration of Small Black Bean according to the Cooking Methods)

  • After being subjected to different cooking methods, small black beans (Rhynchosia nulubilis) were investigated in order to assess the effects of the retained bioactive compounds. Using uncooked, pan broiled, boiled, steamed, and pressure cooked beans, the inhibitory effects of MCF-7 cell migration were evaluated at protein concentrations of 40, 160, and $640{\mu}m/mL$, using the Boyden's chamber assay. All protein concentrations (40, 160, and $640{\mu}m/mL$) of pan broiled beans showed significant reduction (59.83, 32.48, and 21.37%, respectively) in the rate of cell migration to the lower chambers (p-value less than 0.001). Estimated cell migration rates correlated to the exponential decay between experimentally measured cell migration rates and converted samples. The range of estimated cell migration rate for each 100 mg/mL of cooked sample was as follows: pan broiled (21.16%), boiled (22.48%), steamed (22.48%), pressure cooked (29.52%), and uncooked (35.03%) beans. Our study indicated that selective modifications of cooking methods for small black beans, such as pan broiling, ameliorated the inhibitory effects of MCF-7 cell migration. This suggests that optimized cooking methods increase the nutritional contents of the cooked food.

Migration of fine granular materials into overlying layers using a modified large-scale triaxial system

  • The primary goal of this study is to evaluate the migration of fine granular materials into overlying layers under cyclic loading using a modified large-scale triaxial system as a physical model test. Samples prepared for the modified large-scale triaxial system comprised a 60 mm thick gravel layer overlying a 120 mm thick subgrade layer, which could be either tailings or railway sand. A quantitative analysis of the migration of fine granular materials was based on the mass percentage and grain size of migrated materials collected in the gravel. In addition, the cyclic characteristics, i.e., accumulated axial strain and excess pore water pressure, were evaluated. As a result, the total migration rate of the railway sand sample was found to be small. However, the total migration rate of the sample containing tailings in the subgrade layer was much higher than that of the railway sand sample. In addition, the migration analysis revealed that finer tailings particles tended to be migrated into the upper gravel layer easier than coarser tailings particles under cyclic loading. This could be involved in significant increases in excess pore water pressure at the last cycles of the physical model test.
