  • The purpose of the present study is to suggest the meta data of the attribute mapping for interoperability from IFC to CityGML. For this, we analyzed the interoperability issue including the neutral information model structure such as IFC, CityGML. To solve the interoperability problem between IFC and CityGML model which is the neutral GIS format, We proposed the meta data including the mapping rule. The meta data is consists of the connection information between BIM and GIS model, the mapping rule based on the perspective of the use-case, the operator and the attribute. By using this, XML to represent the meta data is defined and the information mapping system is developed.

  • In this study, the experiment was carried out to investigate and analyze the strength properties and flowability of concrete using meta kaolin. The main experimental variables were water/binder ratio 40.0$\%$, water content 170kg/$m^{3}$ and mineral admixtures such as slag powder, silica fume and meta kaolin. According to the test results, the principle conclusions are summarized as follows. 1) The flowing property of concrete that uses meta kaolin appears to be the same to that of the silica fume concrete, but the slump flow that evaluates the compaction ability of concrete shows the most favorable performance. 2) The air content of the concrete that uses meta kaolin can be effectively controlled for the target performance in compliance with the use of AE agent. 3) When it comes to the strength of concrete that uses meta kaolin, the most favorable development of strength occurs when the replacement rate is 10$\%$, in case of the silica fume, and the slag power. In addition, as the replacement rate increases, so becomes the development of concrete strength favorable.

  • Herein, we performed a comparative study on approximate multi-objective design optimization, to realize a structural design to improve the weight and vibration performances of the knuckle - a car suspension component - considering various load conditions and vibration characteristics. In the approximate multi-objective optimization process, a regression meta-model was generated using the response surfaces method (RSM), while Kriging and back-propagation neural network (BPN) methods were applied for interpolation meta-modeling. The Pareto solutions, multi-objective optimal solutions, were derived using the non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA-II). In terms of the knuckle design considered in this study, the characteristics and influence of the meta-model on multi-objective optimization were reviewed through a comparison of the approximate optimization results with the meta-models and the actual optimization.

  • Objectives: This systematic review evaluated the efficacy of the supplementary use of the XP-endo Finisher on bacteria content reduction in the root canal system. Materials and Methods: In-vitro studies evaluating the use of the XP-endo Finisher on bacteria content were searched in four databases in July 2020. Two authors independently screened the studies for eligibility. Data were extracted, and risk of bias was assessed. Data were meta-analyzed by using random-effects model to compare the effect of the supplementary use (experimental) or not (control) of the XP-endo Finisher on bacteria counting reduction, and results from different endodontic protocols were combined. Four studies met the inclusion criteria while 1 study was excluded from the meta-analysis due to its high risk of bias and outlier data. The 3 studies that made it to the meta-analysis had an unclear risk of bias for at least one criterion. Results: No heterogeneity was observed among the results of the studies included in the meta-analysis. The study excluded from the meta-analysis assessing the bacteria counting deep in the dentin demonstrated further bacteria reduction upon the use of the XP-endo Finisher. Conclusions: This systematic review found no evidence supporting the supplementary use of the XP-endo Finisher on further bacteria counting the reduction in the root canal.

  • This study investigated knowledge browsing behavior as the factor affecting the increase of knowledge sharing intention. To conduct this study in the specific context of knowledge seeking and sharing behavior of virtual community members, literature on knowledge seeking behavior, meta-knowledge, and knowledge sharing intention was reviewed. Structural Equation Modeling was conducted to analyze survey data to test the research model of this study. The result showed that knowledge browsing have positive effects on creating of virtual community members' subject knowledge and meta-knowledge, which, in turn, affected positively their knowledge sharing intention. One of the main contributions of this study is that knowledge seeking behavior influence one's knowledge sharing intention in a virtual community. Organization managers should consider knowledge seeking behavior as not only a self-interested, consuming activity, but also a productive one through its function of constructing subject knowledge and meta-knowledge.

  • Background: Rs31489 in the cleft lip and palate transmembrane1-like gene (CLPTM1L) has been identified to be associated with lung cancer through genome-wide association studies (GWAS). However, some recent replication studies yielded inconclusive results. Thus, we undertook this study to investigate the precise effect of rs31489 on lung cancer susceptibility. Materials and Methods: A hospital-based case-control study in 1,673 Chinese subjects (611 individuals with lung cancer and 1,062 controls) and a meta-analysis among 32,199 subjects (16,364 cases and 15,835 controls) were performed in this study. Results: In our case-control study, rs31489 was inversely associated with lung cancer (AC versus CC: OR=0.68, 95%CI=0.52-0.88; additive model: OR=0.68, 95%CI=0.54-0.85; dominant model: OR=0.65, 95%CI =0.51-0.84). Stratification analysis by smoking status showed a significant association and strong genetic effect in non-smokers but not in smokers. Our meta-analysis further confirmed the association, although with significant heterogeneity contributed by study design and source of controls, as shown by stratified analysis. Sensitive and cumulative analyses both indicated robust stability of our results. In addition, there was no observable publication bias in our meta-analysis. Conclusions: Overall, the findings from our replication study and meta-analysis demonstrated that CLPTM1L gene rs31489 is significantly associated with lung cancer.

  • Since the effects of cinnamon supplementation on lipid profiles are still controversial, this study conducted a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials to assess the effect of cinnamon supplementation on lipid profiles. The study was designed and conducted according to the guidelines of the 2020 preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analysis (PRISMA) statements. A systematic and comprehensive search was performed in several databases from inception up to 11 November 2023. The meta-analysis on the impact of Cinnamon on lipid profiles indicates a non-significant overall effect on low-density lipoprotein (weighted mean differences [WMD], -2.48; 95% confidence interval [CI], -9.70, 4.72). However, significant reductions are seen with doses < 500 mg/day (-10.26), and non-significant increases with doses ≥ 500 mg/day (1.18). The overall effect on high-density lipoprotein is non-significant (WMD, 3.97; 95% CI, -7.877, 15.831), showing varying responses at different doses. Triglycerides exhibit a significant overall reduction (WMD, -6.88; 95% CI, -12.62, -1.15), particularly in the < 500 mg/day group. The overall effect on cholesterol is non-significant (WMD, -4.314; 95% CI, -15.011, 6.384), with diverse responses at different doses. High heterogeneity underlines the importance of standardized study designs and further exploration of dosage-specific effects. Findings from this study suggest that cinnamon supplements might be beneficial to modulate the blood lipid profile.

  • This study suggests a query conversion method based on Topic Maps MetaData Registry(TMDR) in order to solve heterogeneity problems distributed in networks and to integrate data efficiently. In order to integrate distributed data, TMDR provides global schema and it solves heterogeneity problem within local data using query conversion method. After analyzing relationship between Meta Schema Ontology(MSO) of eXtended Meta Data Registry(XMDR) and Topic Maps, this method allows integrated access through Meta Location(ML) which manages accessing information of local data. The processing method is to produce a global query for global processing by using TMDR and then to make the produced global query approach to systems distributed through networks so that allows integrated access at the end. For this, we propose a method to convert a global query into a query which is adaptive to local query.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop meta evaluating indicators for Defense R&D Programs in Korea. At first, the four components of this meta evaluation model were designed, which are evaluation context, evaluation input, evaluation process, evaluation output. And fifty two indicators were developed for this meta evaluation. Basic model of meta evaluation was derived from the literature review and brain storming. And this meta evaluation model was determined by adapting the result of experts who performed evaluations for Defense R&D Programs in recent years. Factor Analysis method was used to verify the validity of meta evaluation model. The survey of fifty three members turned out that Cronbach' ${\alpha}$ was over 0.6 in evaluation components and items. And the reliability of evaluation context was 0.877, that of evaluation input was 0.755, that of evaluation process was 0.755, that of evaluation output was 0.755 respectively. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method was used in assigning the evaluation weight. The survey of twenty two members showed that the Consistency Ratio was 0.09 in evaluation components and items.
