In this paper a queneing model for the D channel access protocal recommeded by CCITT is developed, and delays of the signalling and packet messages are analyzed using the model, Behaviors of packet and signalling messages in the D-channel access system are also investigated. The analytical results have been verified by simulation.

오늘날 USIM 서비스는 그 중요성과 사용자 요구에 의해 시장규모가 나날이 증가되어 가고 있는 추세이다. 본 논문에서는 USIM 서비스의 핵심 기술이라 할 수 있는 보안메카니즘 중 3GPP TS 23.048 과 자바카드 규격에 따라 IMT-2000 에 장착된 USIM 서비스를 지원하기 위한 Securing Message 전송 기술에 관하여 연구하였다.

The disasters of wet bound vessels have been more frequent than those of east bound ones on the sea routes of the North Pacific Ocean in winter season. M/V Hanjin-Inchon was also west bound in her missing voyage. The container vessel of 17, 676 gross tons, M/V Hanjin-Inchon owned by Hanjin Shipping Co.Ltd in Seoul Korea left seattle in west coast of U.S.A for Pusan , Korea on the 5th Feb., 1987 and sailed along the exact courses recommended by Ocean Routes until she reported her position and speed as 49-30N, 158-00E and 8 knots to her head office in Seoul by this ship's time 2200 hours on the 13th Feb., 1987. The above message turned out to be last message from her because she had been missing since then leaving no message but only two life boats of her name, three containers cases, large scale of oil slicks and the corpse of her 3rd mate drifting on the sea near the position reported by her last message.

In this paper, we propose the design of railway safety common data model to provide common transformation method for collecting data from railway facility fields to Real-time railway safety monitoring and control system. This common data model is divided into five abstract sub-models according to the characteristics of data such as 'StateInfoMessage', 'ControlMessage', 'RequestMessage', 'ResponseMessage' and 'ExtendedXXXMessage'. This kind of model structure allows diverse heterogeneous data acquisitions and its common conversion method to DDS (Data Distribution Service) format to share data to the sub-systems of Real-time railway safety monitoring and control system. This paper contains the design of common data model and its DDS Topic expression for DDS communication, and presents two kinds of data transformation case studied for verification of the model design.

This paper proposes a message transfer application using smartphone with NFC(Near Field Communication) and GCM(Goolge Cloud Messaging) technology for prevention of personal information leakage. In implementing for the proposed system, we design a NFC-based vehicle status alerts service which make it possible to communicate with smartpone message without phone-number between a car driver and an unspecified person. The application provides message communication mechanism without exposing the real phone number, using the NFC tag written with the driver's smartphone device ID and GCM push messages. Through the evaluation result of the actual implemented application, the proposed system can be efficient technology in protection for leakage of personal information such as personal phone- number in daily life.

This paper has been studied a EMR Sharing System using HL7 Message and CDA Document. HL7 Message is a Transaction for clinical data sharing between hospital-based. The CDA for document exchange supports shared care between hospital-based and community-based physicians, knowledge integration by permitting external links to other documents, and outcomes research through the capture of discrete and coded clinical data. And then this paper has designed XML based CDA for document exchange and interactive Hospital-based Transaction based on HL7 Message.

Key exposure is a major threat to secure cryptosystems. To mitigate the impact caused by key-compromise attacks, a key-insulated cryptographic mechanism is a better alternative. For securing the large message communication in peer-to-peer networks, in this paper, we propose the first novel identity-based key-insulated encryption (IB-KIE) scheme with message linkages. Our scheme has the properties of unbounded time periods and random-access key-updates. In the proposed scheme, each client can periodically update his private key while the corresponding public one remains unchanged. The essential security assumption of our proposed scheme is based on the well-known bilinear Diffie-Hellman problem (BDHP). To ensure the practical feasibility, we also formally prove that the proposed scheme achieves the security requirement of confidentiality against indistinguishability under adaptive chosen-ciphertext attacks (IND-CCA2) in the random oracle model.

An MTBF(mean time between failures) of large scale parallel systems is known to be only an order of several hours, and large computations sometimes result in a waste of huge amount of CPU time, However. the MPI(Message Passing Interface), a de facto standard for message passing parallel programming, suggests no possibility to handle such a problem. In this paper, we propose an application-level fault tolerant computation system, purely on the basis of the current MPI standard without using any non-standard fault tolerant MPI library, that can be used for general scientific synchronous parallel computation.

최근 일본의 지진 쓰나미 등 전 세계적으로 많은 재난이 증가하고 있고, 국내에서는 신속한 재난 정보 전송을 위해서 CBS(Cell Broadcast Service) Alert Message를 국가 표준으로 제정하였다. CBS를 통한 전송은 지역단위 전송이 가능하므로 재난이 발생한 지역에 신속한 전송 서비스를 가능하게 해준다. 하지만 국내의 경우 CBS Alert Message가 LTE(Long Term Evolution) 단말에서만 수신이 가능하고 3G 단말에서는 수신이 불가능하다. 이에 본 논문은 실내 환경에서 gateway-AP(Access Point)를 이용하여 3G 단말이 CBS Alert Message를 수신 할 수 있는 방법을 제시하려고 한다.

The present study examined the effects of self-construal and message orientation on value advocacy advertising. An experiment of college students was conducted to investigate relationship between the attitude toward advocacy advertisements and the purchase intention. The results showed that people with interdependent self-construal have more positive attitude toward the advocacy advertisements than people with independent self-construal. The interaction effects between self-construal and message orientation on the value advocacy advertisements were not found significant. However, it was found that even people with independent self-construal showed more positive attitude toward the advocacy advertisement with others-orientation messages than the advertisement with self-orientation messages in value advocacy advertising. Based on the findings, theoretical and managerial implications for value advocacy advertising were discussed.
