In this study, we investigated the paraffin encapsulation using double-walled encapsulation technique. The first encapsulation used methyl methacrylic acid as the main component in acrylic polymer and the second encapsulation used melamine polymer. Particles size and distribution of the capsules were analyzed using scanning electron microscopy. In the first encapsulation, the stable capsules were obtained at 67% of phase change material ratio to methyl methacrylic acid monomer and the size of the capsule was from 0.2 to $0.3{\mu}m$. In the second encapsulation, the size of the capsules was almost the same with those capsules prepared in the first encapsulation. The particle size of single wall and double wall was about $0.3{\mu}m$. As a result of the encapsulation of paraffin using double-walled encapsulation technique, it was confirmed that the particle size was determined in the process of encapsulating using the acrylic polymer at the first wall material, and the physical and thermal stability of the capsules were imparted using melamine at the secondary wall material.
To accelerate the curing and to improve the bonding properties of urea-melamine-formaldehyde (UMF) resin adhesives for plywood, the effects of resin compositions and additives on gelation time and bonding strength were discussed. The gelation time of UMF resin prepared by simultaneous reaction with urea(U), melamine(M) and formaldehyde(F) at M/U molar ratio 0.2 was shortened as the molar ratio of formaldehyde to urea was increased. However, at F/U molar ratios higher than 2.5, the amounts of free fomaldehyde of resin could not satisfy with KS standard, Therefore, it was difficult to increase the amount of formaldehyde in resin composition for the purpose of fast gelation time. With increasing the molar ratio of melamine to urea(M/U) from 0.3 to 0.6 at constant F/U molar ratio 3.4, the gelation time of UMF resin was slightly decreased, while gradually increased at M/U molar ratio higher than 0.6. The gelation properties of UMF resin and bonding strength of UMF-bonded plywood could be enhanced by using ammonium chloride and p-toluene sulfonic acid as a curing-agent together with wheat flour and corngluten powder as a extender.
Melamine resin was mixed with polybutadiene rubber or wood flour in the ranges of $5{\sim}75%(wt.%)$. For mixtures, physical and thermal properties were tested experimentally. Physical properties were mainly influenced on the dispersed states of rubber or wood flour. The highest flexural and impact strength were obtained at wood flour content $65{\times}67%$. Rubber was homopolymerized by hardner, or partially copolymerized with melamine resin. At rubber content $3{\sim}6%$, cured products represented lower modulus without decreasing mechanical strength.
The crystals of the new melaminium salt, i.e. melaminium acetate acetic acid solvate monohydrate, $C_3H_7N_6^+ {\cdot}CH_3COO^- {\cdot}CH_3COOH{\cdot}H_2O$, were obtained by the slow evaporation of an aqueous solution at room temperature. Powder infrared and Raman spectra were measured and interpreted. The vibrational spectra in the region of internal vibrations of ions corroborate structural data recently published by Perpetuo and Janczak.$^1$ Some spectral features of this new crystal are referred to corresponding one for melamine crystal as well as other melamine complexes in crystalline form. Hydrogen-bonded network present in the crystal gives notable vibrational effect.

Glass fiber is widely used in architectural acoustics or building acoustics for sound absorption since it was introduced into China for about 50 years. But recent years, with people pay more attentions to the air cleansing and their health which may be affected by the tiny fiber of the glasswool, a voluntary tendency opposing glass fiber of room using is gradual appeared in China. This paper discusses both the main opinions towards the question whether there are harmful impacts on people health from glassfiber, and the application circumstance of it's applying in china. This paper focuses on another substitute sound absorbing material, melamine foam, to discuss the strong environmental friendly tendency opposing glass fiber of room using in China now.
To accelerate the cure of phenolic resin adhesives for plywood, the complexation with melamine resin and the addition of cure-accelerating agents were discussed. The hot-pressing temperature and time of phenol resin could be decreased by complexation with melamine resin. but the wet glue-joints strength of phenol melamine resin was lower than that of ordinary phenol resin in case of plywood using spruce veneer at core layer. Among the tested cure-accelerating agents. the sodium carbonate showed the greatest effect on shortening gelation time of phenolic resin. In addition, in the manufacturing scale test, the hot-pressing time of phenol resin with the addition of 5 parts sodium carbonate could be shortened about 20% compared with ordinary phenol resin which had same glue-joints properties.

This study is to investigate the probability to develop the AE Water-reducing agent which can decrease the bleeding by mixing melamine type super-plasticizer(SP) and methyl cellulose(MC) viscosity agent. According to the result, as the mixing ratio of melamine type SP and MC viscosity agent increases, the bleeding is reduced due to a increase of the air content. When the mixing ratio of melamine type SP and MC viscosity agent is 1:2 and 1;3 at the water content of 165kg/$m^3$ and 175kg/$m^3$ respectively, slump and air content are satisfied and bleeding is reduced to some extent, so this is determined as the mixing ratio of AE water reducing agent for reduction of bleeding. It is prove that the developed AE water reducing agent for reduction of bleeding can reduce the amount of bleeding and prohibit the plastic shrinkage crack by slowing down the bleeding speed. Compressive strength of hardened concrete does not make any difference in comparison with plain concrete.
Skin patch test and antibacterial properties of the reaction products between poly(hexamethyl biguanide) hydrochloride and trimethylol melamine on textile fabrics were examined. Antibacterial activities of anti-microbial agent treated samples are very good. The reduction ratios against four kinds of colonies are 99.9 % after repeated laundering ten times. Skin patch test results for anti-microbial agent treated samples are almost-negative by Hi-scope judgement and macroscopical judgement.

Results from a study on the effect of the chemical agent on the flowing and setting properties of high flowing.high strength concrete using blast-furnace slag are presented in this paper. The flowing and setting properties of concrete are investigated by slump, slump-flow, flowing velocity, L-flow, velocity of V-funnel, L-spatial passability and setting time. In addition, kinds of chemical agent were composed of naphthalene type, of naphthalene and melamine and melamine type. The results indicate that dispersive capacity can be increased by naphthalene composition. Also, it shows that viscosity and early strength can be increased by melamine composition.
This study was carried out to examine the subsitution possibility into water soluble amino resins instead of phenolic resin as a sizing material for the strength increase on the wet forming hardboard. The properties of hardboard, manufactured with amino-resins based urea, melamine, formaline, and methanol which were low priced domestic products, were examined in comparison with those of hardboard treated with phenolic resin. In this study by the results and discussions, it may be summarized as follows: 1. Amino-resins are able to be substituted for the phenolic resin as a good sizing material for strength increase in the manufacture of wet forming hardboard. Under the considerations of economic advantages and properties of hardboard, modified urea-melamine resin was given a best results. 2. The specific gravities of hardboard that were treated with phenolic resin was equal to that treated with modified amino type resin, and in case of urea-melamine resin, the specific gravity value were lowest among them. 3. The results of moisture contents were satisfied the standard which calls for 13 percent or below. There were no differences in moisture contents between hardboards, treated with melamine resin and modified urea-melamine resin but phenolic resin. The moisture contents of hardboard treated with phenolic resin was shown the lowest. 4. The water absorption of hardboard treated with phenolic resin was greater than those treated with amino resins, and to satisfy the standard of water resistance, the treatment of 2 percent paraffin wax emulsion was needed in this case. There were no differences in water absorptions between hardboards, treated with melamine resin and modified urea-melamine resin. To satisfy the standard of water resistance in this case the treatment of 1 percent paraffin wax emulsion was shown good results. 5. The differences among the flexural strength in using tested three adhesives were significant. The flexural strength were shown the signification by order of melamine resin, modified urea-melamine resin, and phenolic resin. In all cases to satisfy the standard of flexural strength, the treatment of 3 percent sizing materials for strength increase was needed.
