In this paper, the lines of investigation on a problem of the development of remote acoustic sensing methods in oceanology are formulated. This paper summarizes the results of investigations into the possibilities for monitoring temperature and flow fields in shallow seas. In the discussed experiments, the instrumentation being constituents of the complex for long-duration remote monitoring of marine medium climatic variability and that of the acoustic tomography of shallow sea dynamic processes is used. The acoustic instruments were located on the POI FEB RAS acousto-hydrophysical polygon (Pacific Oceanological Institute, Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences) near the Gamov Peninsula. Acoustic receiving and transmitting systems operating with multiplex phase-manipulated signals (of M-codes) at frequency range 250-2500 Hz form the basis for this complex.
Hot-water soluble extracts were prepared from medium-sized barks of Siberian larch (Larix gmelineii). The extracts were fractionated by ultrafiltration method for producing uniform quality of adhesives. Molecular weight distribution of the extracts was ranged of 100 to 300.000. pH of the extracts affected amounts of flux, and the range of pH 6~pH 8 was proper for wood adhesives, because of easy concentration and fast gelation time. Removal of particles greater than $0.45{\mu}m$ from the extracts increased both filtration speed (flux) and yields of solids in the filtrates. In ultrafiltration process. operating pressure, filtrate temperature, and flow rate significantly increased with the increase of individual condition. Ultrafiltration using PM10 membrane was very effective to fractionate and concentrate the extracts. Removal of large particles greater than 0.45 m from the extracts increased filtration speed(flux) and yields of solids in the filtrates. A gelation time was accelerated with the increasing pH of the extracts and its concentration. The Stiasny precipitate(26%) from the filtrate obtained by PM 10 membrane was very lower than that(78%) of the retentates. This ultrafiltration method was efficient for obtaining high yield purified phenolic compounds.
A gas turbine is the main equipment of a power plant that generates electricity by high-speed rotation of the rotor in a high-temperature environment. In particular, in the case of medium to large-sized gas turbines, the rotor is composed of a plurality of stages, and each component is exposed to different physical environments. Especially, in the case of the tip clearance of the turbine, it is a very important factor in the performance of the design items and the operation of the stable turbine, and a design considering the physical behavior of all major parts should be done. In this study, we will discuss the process of visualizing the physical behavior of turbine operating conditions and the method of designing tip clearance for stable operation by using commercial finite element analysis program for gas turbine assembly model and single product.

Heating pipes, which are among the main equipment in district heating systems, can be classified into supply and return pipes. Because when the district heating transmission pipe, which is charged with district heating in small to medium-size cities, is under thermal stress during temperature variances in heating water, it suffers from the fatigue phenomenon caused by the thermal stress, according to the number of its service years. District heatingpipes have shown various characteristics according to the operating condition of the service connections, and the irregular temperature variance has had a bad influence on fatigue heating pipes. Therefore, in this study, a field test on laid heating pipes was performed, and the data for each region were analyzed. Also, the fatigue safety of district heating pipes was evaluated via cycle-based evaluation and stress-based evaluation.

Recently, the regulations of the Local and Global for a variety of air pollution prevention has been enhanced by the steep rise in fuel oil prices. So, the appearance of Gas Fuelled Ships became necessary. In this study, we configured a regasification system which uses Eglycol water as a heating medium to evaporate before being supply fuel to the DF engine, then we analysed the system properties according to the Eglycol water mixing ratio. The results were as follows. When pressure, temperature, and flux of natural gas(NG) which are supplied to DF engines are uniformly kept, the higher mixing ratio of Eglycol is, the lower mixing specific heat of Eglycol water. And the cycle flux and electric power were 1.65 and 1.54 times more required. respectively, than water was used as the heating medium. Basic variables including mass flux according to the mixing ratio of Eglycol water, required electric power of operating fluid pumps, the temperature of natural gas which is supplied to the engine, and the heat exchanger's capacity were drawn from the gotten results.

The performance of the turbofan engine, a medium scale civil aircraft which has been developing in Rep. of Korea, was analyzed and the control scheme for optimization the performance was studied. The dynamic and real-time linear simulation was performed in the previous study The result was that the fuel scedule of the step increase overshoot the limit temperature(3105 $^{\cire}R$) of the high pressure turbine and got small surge margine of the high pressure compressor. Therefore a control scheme such as the LQR(Linear Quadratic Regulator) was applied to optimizing the performance in this studies. The linear model was expected for designing controller and the real time linear model was developed to be closed to nonlinear simulation results. The system matrices were derived from sampling operating points in the scheduled range and then the least square method was applied to the interpolation between these sampling points, where each element of matrices was a function of the rotor speed. The control variables were the fuel flow and the low pressure compressor bleed air. The controlled linear model eliminated the inlet temperature overshoot of the high pressure turbine and obtained maximum surge margins within 0.55. The SFC was stabilized in the range of 0.355 to 0.43.

Amur cork tree was extracted in methanol with the purpose of investigating the most effective extraction procedure for detecting the chromophore using the GC-MS analysis. Different procedures of waterbath and hotplate extractions were carried out and five different GC-MS instrument parameters including the operating temperatures in the GC capillary column and the MSD scan range were tested for their efficiencies. Berberine was determined by the detection of dihydroberberine at 15.0 min r.t. Hotplate was a better device for extracting amur cork tree than waterbath shaker either with or without presoaking in the room temperature. Water was not an adequate extraction medium for the berberine detection. The most effective GC-MS parameter was Method 4; the initial temperature at $50^{\circ}C$ followed by the temperature increase of $23^{\circ}C$/min until $210^{\circ}C$, then increase of $30^{\circ}C$/min until the final temperature reach at $305^{\circ}C$, then hold for 14 minutes to maintain the total run time 24.12 minutes. The MSD scan range for Method 4 was $35\sim400$m/z.
A simulation study on SCR(steam carbon dioxide reforming) in gas-to-liquid(natural gas to Fischer-Tropsch synthetic fuel) process was carried out in order to find optimum reaction conditions for SCR experiment. Optimum operating conditions for SCR process were determined by changing reaction variables such as temperature and $CH_4/steam/CO_2$ feed ratio. Simulation was carried out by Aspen Plus. During the simulation, overall process was assumed to proceed under steady-state conditions. It was also assumed that physical properties of reaction medium were governed by RKS(Redlich-Kwong-Soave) equation. Optimum simulation variables such as temperature and feed ratio were determined by considering $H_2/CO$ ratio for FTS(Fischer-Tropsch synthesis), $CH_4$ conversion, and $CO_2$ conversion. Simulation results showed that optimum reaction temperature and $CH_4/steam/CO_2$ feed ratio in SCR process were $850^{\circ}C$ and 1.0/1.6/0.7, respectively. Under optimum temperature of $850^{\circ}C$, $CH_4$ conversion and $CO_2$ conversion were found to be 99% and 49%, respectively.
The considerable portion of energy demand has been satisfied by the combustion of fossil fuel and the consequent $CO_2$ emission was considered as a main cause of global warming. As a technology option for $CO_2$ emission mitigation, absorption process has been used in $CO_2$ capture from large scale emission sources. To set up optimal operating parameters in $CO_2$ absorption and solvent regeneration units are important for the better performance of the whole $CO_2$ absorption plant. Optimal operating parameters are usually selected through a lot of actual operation data. However theoretical approach are also useful because the arbitrary change of process parameters often limited for the stability of process operation. In this paper, a theoretical approach based on vapor-liquid equilibrium was proposed to estimate optimal operating conditions of $CO_2$ absorption process. Two $CO_2$ absorption processes using 12 wt% aqueous $NH_3$ solution and 20 wt% aqueous MEA solution were investigated in this theoretical estimation of optimal operating conditions. The results showed that $CO_2$ loading of rich absorbent should be kept below 0.4 in case of 12 wt% aqueous $NH_3$ solution for $CO_2$ absorption but there was no limitation of $CO_2$ loading in case of 20 wt% aqueous MEA solution for $CO_2$ absorption. The optimal regeneration temperature was determined by theoretical approach based on $CO_2$ loadings of rich and lean absorbent, which determined to satisfy the amount of absorbed $CO_2$. The amount of heating medium at optimal regeneration temperature is also determined to meet the difference of $CO_2$ loading between rich and lean absorbent. It could be confirmed that the theoretical approach, which accurately estimate the optimal regeneration conditions of lab scale $CO_2$ absorption using 12 wt% aqueous $NH_3$ solution could estimate those of 20 wt% aqueous MEA solution and could be used for the design and operation of $CO_2$ absorption process using chemical absorbent.

The growth of Irpex lacteus F17 and manganese peroxidase (MnP) production in a selfdesigned tray bioreactor, operating in solid-state conditions at a laboratory scale, were studied. The bioreactor was divided into three layers by three perforated trays. Agroindustrial residues were used both as the carrier of bound mycelia and as a nutrient medium for the growth of I. lacteus F17. The maximum biomass production in the bioreactor was detected at 60 h of fermentation, which was consistent with the CO2 releasing rate by the fungus. During the stationary phase of fungal growth, the maximum MnP activity was observed, reaching 950 U/l at 84 h. Scanning electron microscopy images clearly showed the growth situation of mycelia on the support matrix. Furthermore, the MnP produced by I. lacteus F17 in the bioreactor was isolated and purified, and the internal peptide sequences were also identified with mass spectrometry. The optimal activity of the enzyme was detected at pH 7 and 25℃, with a long half-life time of 9 days. In addition, the MnP exhibited significant stability within a broad pH range of 4-7 and at temperature up to 55℃. Besides this, the MnP showed the ability to decolorize the polymeric model dye Poly R-478 in vitro.
