Amoxacillin의 경구투여에 따른 양식 어류(넙치, 조피볼락, 참돔)의 근육조직내 잔류량의 변화 (Muscle Tissue Distribution Level of Amoxicillin in Olive Flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus), Rockfish (Sebastes schlegeli), and Red Sea Bream (Pagrus major) Following Oral Administration)

  • Amoxicillin을 넙치, 조피볼락 그리고 참돔에 각각 400 mg/kg bw/day의 용량으로 7일 동안 사료와 혼합하여 경구 투여한 다음, 휴약기간 동안 근육조직 내 잔류 분포를 조사하였다. 실험어는 해수 중에서 일정한 크기의 케이지에 일반 상업용 사료를 주어 사육하였고, 실험에 사용하기에 앞서 15일 동안 환경에 적응시켰다. 약제 투여 후, 근육시료는 1, 2, 3, 4, 그리고 5일에 각각의 실험어를 대상으로 채취하였다. Amoxicillin의 잔류분석은 형광검출기를 부착한 고속액체크로마토그래피를 이용하여 분석하였다. Amoxicillin의 회수율은, 0.05mg/kg의 농도에서 84.3-101.3%, 0.1mg/kg의 농도에서는 75.0-91.5%를 보였다. 투약 후 1일에는, 참돔의 근육 중 amoxicillin의 잔류농도가 넙치와 조피볼락의 근육 중 잔류농도에 비하여 높았으나 통계적 유의성은 없었으며, 투약 후 4일에는, 모든 근육 시료에서 amoxicillin이 검출되지 않았다. 이상의 결과로부터, amoxicillin의 사료혼합을 통한 경구 투여는 넙치, 조피볼락 그리고 참돔의 근육 중에서 안전휴약기간(7일) 보다도 체래 소실이 빨리 일어나는 것으로 추정되는 바, 안전휴약기간을 준수한다면 amoxicillin의 어류 근육 조직 내 잔류로부터 안전할 것으로 사료된다.

국내 자생 약용식물자원(박하, 복분자 및 매리골드)의 첨가 급여가 육계의 생산성과 육질에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Dietary Locally Grown Herbs (Mentha piperascens, Rubus coreanus, Tagetes patula) on the Growth Performance and Meat Quality of Broiler Chicken)

  • 본 연구는 육계에 국내 자생의 토착 생물자원인 박하, 복분자, 매리골드를 첨가 급여하였을 때 육계의 성장성적 및 도체특성을 조사하여 항생제 대체제로서의 이용 가능성을 평가하고, 혈중 항산화정도와 계육의 지방산화 및 육질을 조사하여 국내 자생 생물자원을 이용한 기능성 양계산물의 생산 가능성에 대해 평가하기 위하여 1일령 Ross 육용종 수평아리 600수를 공시하여 5주간 실험을 진행하였다. 옥수수와 대두박 위주로 배합하였으며, 전기사료는 대사에너지 3,100kcal/kg와 조단백질 20.5%, 후기사료는 대사에너지 3,120kcal/kg와 조단백질 19.5%로 제조하여 대조구 사료로서 사용하였으며, 항생제를 첨가하지 않은 항생제 무첨가 대조구와 항생제를 첨가한 항생제 첨가 대조구로 나누고, 박하, 복분자 및 매리골드 분말 첨가구는 항생제 무첨가 대조구에 각각 0.3 및 0.5% 첨가한 사료를 급여하였다. 실험 결과, 박하, 복분자 및 매리골드 분말의 첨가급여에 의하여 사료섭취량에서는 처리구간에 유의한 차이가 없었으나 종료체중, 일당증체량 및 사료요구율은 항생제 무첨가 대조구에 비하여 유의하게 개선하는 결과가 관찰되었으며, 장기 및 가식성 근육의 상대적 중량에서는 대조구와 처리구간에 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 혈액의 성상은 총 콜레스테롤 및 GOT GPT 수준에는 영향이 없었으나, SOD 유사활성은 모든 처리구가 대조구에 비해 유의하게 높거나 높은 경향을 나타내는 것으로 관찰되었으며, 특히 박하 및 매리골드 분말을 0.3% 첨가 급여한 처리구에서 유의하게 높은 결과를 나타냈다. 장 내 균 총의 변화에서는 총균수 및 coliform 균수는 처리구간 유의한 차이가 없었으나, lactic acid bacteria에서 항생제 첨가 대조구에 비하여 유의하게 증가하는 결과를 나타났다. 가식성 근육 내 지질 과산화물의 생성정도는 항생제를 첨가 급여하지 않은 대조구에 비하여 모든 처리구에서 지질산화가 억제되는 결과가 관찰되었으며, 특히 박하 및 매리골드 분말을 첨가 급여한 처리구에서 지질 산화의 억제가 유의하게 개선되는 결과가 관찰되었다. 가식성 근육의 물리적 특성에서는 육질에 긍정적 또는 부정적이라고 볼 수 있는 차이는 관찰되지 않았다. 이상의 결과로 보아 국내 자생 토착생물인 박하, 복분자 및 매리골드를 육계에 급여할 경우 성장촉진 등 생산성이 개선되는 것으로 나타나 항생제 대체제로의 이용가능성이 시사되었으며, 체내 대사생리 및 근육 내 물리적 특성에 부정적인 영향 없이 가식성 근육 내 지질산화를 유의하게 억제하는 결과를 나타내어 보존성을 개선한 기능성 양계산물의 생산에 도움을 줄 것으로 사료된다.

점안용 우황약침액의 안전성 및 유효성 평가 (The Experimental Study of Safety and Efficacy in Using Bovis Calculus Pharmacopuncture Solution as Eye Drop)

  • Objectives : This experimental study was performed to investigate the safety and efficacy of Bovis Calculus pharmacopuncture solution manufactured with freezing dryness method to use eye drop. To identify the use of it as eye drop, the eye irritation test of rabbits and the antibacterial test of Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Aspergillus niger, Fusarium oxysporum, and Candida albicans were performed. Methods : 1. The eye irritation test of this material was performed according to the Regulation of Korea Food & Drug Administration(2005. 10. 21, KFDA 2005-60). After Bovis Calculus pharmacopuncture solution was administered in the left eye of the rabbits, eye irritation of the cornea, iris and conjunctiva was observed at 1, 2, 3, 4 & 7day. 2. After administering Bovis Calculus pharmacopuncture solution on bacterial species(Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Aspergillus niger, Fusarium oxysporum, Candida albicans) which cause Keratitis, MIC(Minimum Inhibition Concentration) and the size of inhibition zone were measured. Anti-bacterial potency was also measured using the size of inhibition zone. Results : 1. After Bovis Calculus pharmacopuncture solution was administered in the left eye of the rabbits, it was found that none of nine rabbits have abnormal signs and weight changes. 2. After Bovis Calculus pharmacopuncture solution was medicated in the left eye of the rabbits, no eye irritation of the cornea, iris and conjunctiva was observed at 1, 2, 3, 4 & 7day. 3. There was no response to MIC on bacterial species(Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Aspergillus niger, Fusarium oxysporum, Candida albicans) after Bovis Calculus pharmacopuncture solution was medicated. Conclusions : The present study suggests that Bovis Calculus pharmacopuncture solution is a nontoxic and non-irritant medicine, which does not cause eye irritation in rabbits, but dosen't have antibacterial effects on bacterial species(Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Aspergillus niger, Fusarium oxysporum, Candida albicans) which cause Keratitis. These study result recommends that more research on other herbal medicines of eye drop for Keratitis are required.

산마늘의 아미노산 함량과 생리활성 효과 (Amino Acid Contents and Various Physiological Activities of Allium victorialis)

  • This study was conducted to gather the basic data on the alpine leek (Allium victorialis) for the expand of consumption and the production of its manufactured goods. Amino acid content in alpine leek leaves and various physiological activities were examined. Seventeen component amino acids and 38 free amino acids from alpine leek leaves were analyzed, and the total contents were 2,693.28 mg/100g for component amino acids and 535.39 mg/100g for free amino acids. Total phenolic compounds in the leaves of alpine leek showed the highest level from the methanol extract (37.7 mg/l), and followed by ethanol extract (31.9 mg/l) and hot water extract (25.4 mg/l). Total flavonoid contents in 1,000 mg/l extract was the highest in the methanol extract (22.2 mg/l). DPPH radical scavenging activity at 1,000 mg/l extract was high in the order of ethanol extract (51.6%), methanol extract (47.3%) and hot water extract (37.2%). nitrite radical scavenging activity Methanol extract from Allium victorialis leaves was the highest nitrite radical scavenging activity (79.5%). Hyperplasia suppression of lung cancer cells (Calu-6) and gastric cancer cells (SNU-601) by the methanol extract from the bulb of alpine leek were 99.9% in the extracting concentration of over 200 mg/l. No significant difference in antimicrobial activity among the 3 different solvents and extract concentrations was observed, and the inhibition zones against the gram-positive and negative microorganisms were ranged from 8.23 to 10.15 mm. It was concluded that physiological activities in a human body could be improved by the intake of alpine leek as a pharmaceutical material, and that it would be useful for the prevention of health risk such as lung and gastric cancers.

  • 귤피가 비습을 제거하는 효능을 가지 수 있어 과도한 단맛의 식품 섭취에 의해 증가되는 비습을 제거하여 소화기능을 증진시키는데 기여할 수 있고 또한 초콜릿의 향에도 기여할 것으로 판단되어 초콜릿의 기능성과 귤피의 기능성이 복합적으로 작용하여 생리활성을 기대할 수 있는 초콜릿을 개발가능성을 타진해보고자 하였다. 이에 따라 귤피가루를 첨가한 초콜릿의 일반성분과 무기질 조성, 물리적 특성, 항산화 활성 및 관능적 특성을 분석하였다. 약식 동원의 개념과 질병 예방의 중요성 및 현대인의 생활형태 등을 고려할 때 올바른 식생활은 매우 중요한 부분이다. 이에 오감을 고려한 관능적 특징을 가지고 경제적이면서 손쉽게 섭취할 수 있는 식품의 개발은 꾸준히 이루어져야 할 것이다. 이는 한방 재료를 이용하여 그 기능성을 전통적인 효능에 의한 접근이 이루어져야하며 그 기능성에 관한 동서 융복합적 연구의 기초자료로 사용하고자 함이다.

인삼추출물의 랫트 비만세포 히스타민 유리 억제 효과 (Inhibitory Effects of Ginseng Extracts on Histamine-release from Rat's Mast Cell)

  • 수삼 추출물에서 홍삼특이 사포닌 성분의 함량을 증대시키고자 추출온도 및 시간에 따른 사포닌 성분별 함량 변화를 조사하였다. 수삼을 $85^{\circ}C$에서 48시간 추출 시 총 사포닌 함량이 23.5 mg/g(D.W.)로 가장 많았으며, 본 조건에서 추출한 인삼추출물의 항알러지 기능성을 검토하고자 랫트 비만세포에서 compound 48/80로 유도된 히스타민 유리 작용을 억제하는 인삼추출물의 효능을 분석하였다. 인삼추출물의 비만세포에 대한 세포 독성 시험 결과 각 추출물은 수시간 노출시 높은 세포 생존율을 보이고 있었고 비교적 고농도인 0.5 mg/ml 처리군에서도 80% 이상의 세포 생존율을 보였다. 인삼추출물의 히스타민 유리 억제 효과를 조사하기 위해 랫트 비만세포에 대표적인 탈과립 유도제인 compound 48/80을 단독 또는 각 추출물을 동시에 처리한 후 얻어진 상청액의 히스타민의 정량을 실시한 결과 비만세포는 compound 48/80의 처리 조건에서 대조군에 비하여 30% 가량의 히스타민 유리량이 증가하였는데, 인삼추출물 처리 시 히스타민 유리 수준이 정상 수준에 가까이 감소하는 것을 확인하였다. 이는 인삼추출물의 항 알러지 목적으로의 이용 가능성을 제시하고 있다.

  • This study was penonned to provide basic data that predict the usefulness of Gastrodiae rhizoma as food materials for oriental medicinal cuisine(YakSun). We measured the changes of regional cerebral blood flow(rCBF) and blood pressure(BP) in rats, following the intravenous injection of Gastrodiae rhizoma water extract The measurement was continually monitored by laser-doppler flowmeter and pressure transducer in anesthetized adult Sprague-Dawley rats for about two to two and half hours through the data acquisition system composed of MacLab and Macintosh computer. The results of this experiment were as follows. Gastrodiae rhizoma increased the changes of rCBF in rats significantly. The rCBF of Gastrodiae rhizoma did not change by pretreated propranolol, atropin, methylene blue and indomethacin. But the rCBF of Gastrodiae rhizoma was increased by pretreated L-NNA. Gastrodiae rhizaoma decreased the changes of BP significantly. The BP of Gastrodiae rhizoma did not change by pretreated propranolol, atropin, methylene blue and indomethacin. But the BP of Gastrodiae rhizoma was decreased by pretreated L-NNA. These results indicated that Gastrodiae rhizoma might increase the rCBF and the BP which related to nitric oxide synthesis. Also these results indicate that Gastrodiae rhizoma can be used as a safe and clinically applicable to diet therapy of cerebral cardiovascular disease.

전남 무안 회산지 자생 백련의 잎과 연근의 생산력 (Productivity of Native White Lotus Leaves and Root Grown in Hoesan, Muan of Jeonnam Districts)

  • This study was conducted to examine the yield of lotus leaves and roots per one native white lotus grown in Hoesan, Muan of Jeonnam districts, which were promoted by Muan-Gun, Jeonnam as a local speciality. We planted the rhizomes with 2 internodes in a rubber pot in the middle of April. Then on September, 24, 2008, we dug out the main rhizomes and it had grown by 810cm. From the data, the leaf area was $34,442\;cm^2$, the fresh leaf weight was 1,230g, and the dry leaf weight was 235.4g. The weight of the edible fresh stalk and dry weight leaf were 1,325g and 164.3g. Yield of the white lotus root were 1,480g on Sept. 4, 3,880g on Sept. 20 and 4,172g on Oct. 18. Native white lotus are able to be harvested early as September, however, it is be better that it is harvested in the middle of October based on the yield.

대추와 오미자 약선소스의 이화학적 밑 관능적 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Physicochemical Characteristics and Sensory Evaluation According to Development of Herbal Sauces of Jujube and Omija)

  • Hydrothermal extraction from dates was done, and then 3 groups of the date extract liquid group (A), the date puree group (B) and the jujube skin flesh group (C) were prepared. And, the omija extract liquid was added to the 3 groups at respective rates of 3:7, 5:5 and 7:3. Then, total 9 medicated diet sources were prepared by adding cinnamon, the ginger extract liquid, honey and pectin. And their physicochenmical and sensory attributes were examined. Total sugar, free sugar and pH increased in the samples of the 3 groups as the addition amount of the jujube extract increased. In chromaticity of respective samples, the "L" value did not show any difference among the 3 groups, but the "a" value was the highest in the "A"group, and "b"value was the highest in the "B"group. In the date puree group and the jujube skin flesh group, their viscosity increased as the addition amount of the jujube extract increased, but in the jujube extract liquid group, no difference was found in its viscosity. As a result of conducting the discrimination test, it was identified that the as the addition amount of the jujube extract was increased, color and sweet taste were feltto be stronger and our taste was felt to be weaker in all 3 groups. In the jujube puree group and the jujube skin flesh group, as the addition amount of the jujube extract increased, the jujube fragrance was felt to be stronger, but in the jujube extract liquid group, no difference was found in its fragrance. And, no difference was found in brightness and viscosity between samples. As a result of conducting the palatability test, no difference was showed in the appearance, but as for the overall palatability including texture, taste and fragrance, preference increased as the addition amount of the jujube extract increased.
