Exploring K-League Club's YouTube Channel: Focusing on Seoul E-Land Football Club

  • Soccer is one of the popular sports globally, and South Korea is no exception; the professional domestic soccer tournament has been held in South Korea since 1983. The national soccer team in South Korea has shown outstanding performances, hosting the 2002 World Cup and achieving a bronze medal at the London 2012 Olympic Games and second place at the 2019 U-20 World Cup. In addition, one of the South Korean soccer players, Heung-min Son, has played a remarkable role in the English Premier League. Like other global soccer clubs, South Korean domestic soccer clubs create and manage their own YouTube channel to interact with fans and keep them updated. In this study, we explore how and why Seoul E-Land Football Club (SEFC) utilizes its YouTube channel. SEFC is distinctive in that they are playing at the second division, their home ground is based in Seoul, and they are sponsored by a company run on Christian values. We analyze one of the soccer club's YouTube channels multi-dimensionally and discover the roles of YouTube.

A Study on the Corporate Management Strategy of OTT Service: Focusing on Coupang Play

  • In a recent study, the phenomena of attention being drawn to the media business, particularly over-the-top (OTT) services, was the focus. Particularly, after the Squid Game was broadcast in September 2021, the total number of Netflix users had topped 213.6 million since the company first entered the domestic market. Domestic companies have also introduced OTT services like 'Wave', 'Tving', and 'Watcha Play' to capitalize on this market trend. However, questions persist about how Korea's native OTT providers, both large and small, are being harmed by Netflix's strong financial position and massive content quantity. In order to offer realistic performance metrics, we analyze Coupang Play among domestic OTT service providers after reviewing the business model and management strategy of representative OTT service firms.

Customer-based Recommendation Model for Next Merchant Recommendation

  • In the recommendation system of the credit card company, it is necessary to understand the customer patterns to predict a customer's next merchant based on their histories. The data we want to model is much more complex and there are various patterns that customers choose. In such a situation, it is necessary to use an effective model that not only shows the relevance of the merchants, but also the relevance of the customers relative to these merchants. The proposed model aims to predict the next merchant for the customer. To improve prediction performance, we propose a novel model, called Customer-based Recommendation Model (CRM), to produce a more efficient representation of customers. For the next merchant recommendation system, we use a synthetic credit card usage dataset, BC'17. To demonstrate the applicability of the proposed model, we also apply it to the next item recommendation with another real-world transaction dataset, IJCAI'16.

Incorporating BERT-based NLP and Transformer for An Ensemble Model and its Application to Personal Credit Prediction

  • Tree-based algorithms have been the dominant methods used build a prediction model for tabular data. This also includes personal credit data. However, they are limited to compatibility with categorical and numerical data only, and also do not capture information of the relationship between other features. In this work, we proposed an ensemble model using the Transformer architecture that includes text features and harness the self-attention mechanism to tackle the feature relationships limitation. We describe a text formatter module, that converts the original tabular data into sentence data that is fed into FinBERT along with other text features. Furthermore, we employed FT-Transformer that train with the original tabular data. We evaluate this multi-modal approach with two popular tree-based algorithms known as, Random Forest and Extreme Gradient Boosting, XGBoost and TabTransformer. Our proposed method shows superior Default Recall, F1 score and AUC results across two public data sets. Our results are significant for financial institutions to reduce the risk of financial loss regarding defaulters.

  • 과거의 기업은 소비자의 욕구에 맞는 신기술, 신제품 생산에 주력을 해왔다. 그러나 오늘날과 같은 고도의 정보화시대의 기술은 더 이상 기업 간의 차별성을 나타내지 못하게 되었다. 이러한 사회환경 속에서 기업은 타 기업과의 차별화 된 기업 운영을 위하여 소비자에게 자신들만의 이미지를 강하게 표현하지 않으면 안 된다. 이처럼 차별화 된 기업이미지를 만들기 위한 노력의 일환으로 인쇄매체, 전파매체를 통한 일방적인 커뮤니케이션에서 벗어나 상호 교환적 커뮤니케이션 방식인 직접적인 만남의 공간 즉, 전시ㆍ홍보관이야 말로 이미지 차별화를 강화시킨다. 그러므로 전시ㆍ홍보관에 나타난 디자인 전략요소에 관한 체계적인 연구의 필요성을 느낀다. 먼저 문헌조사를 통해 개념을 확고히 하며, 전시 구성요소를 바탕으로 삼성, 엘지전자의 전시ㆍ홍보관을 중심으로 조사하여 사례를 비교분석 한다. 본 연구에서는 기업의 전시ㆍ홍보관을 디자인 할 경우 기업의 경영이념 및 철학, 비전을 알고 디자인계획을 세움으로 해서 기업 아이덴티티를 효과적으로 전달 할 수 있다. 그 결과 기업이미지 디자인 전략요소를 체계적으로 관리함으로서 보다 합리적이고, 과학적으로 기업의 새로운 목적을 달성할 수 있는 중요성에 대하여 인식하게 한다.

  • High Luminance PDPs have been developed using high efficient electrode structure, discharge gas and fishbone type barrier ribs. New phosphors for the good picture quality were developed. Also, New manufacturing processes such as CPBB were applied in order to reduce processing steps. High Luminance of 1,000 $cd/m^2$ was obtained in the series of 42 inch, 50 inch and 60 inch PDPs.

  • This paper has studied a remote AMR(Automatic Meter Reading) system using the power line and the telephone line as a communication media and the digital power meter. In the developed system, because we have used the power line and telephone, the facility is very easy and then its cost is not expensive. The system includes following elements: a digital power meter, an indoor communication system using a power line modem and a telephone line interface system for sending data to the utility company.

출판사의 스토리텔링 마케팅 효과 연구: 페이스북을 중심으로 (Effect of Storytelling Marketing in Publishing Company: Focused on Facebook Case)

  • 최근 다수의 출판사가 페이스북을 이용한 스토리텔링 마케팅에 나서고 있다. 소셜미디어 이용자 증가에 따라 페이스북이 출판사의 유용한 마케팅 수단으로 인식되고 있고, 나아가 스토리텔링이 페이스북에서 유용한 설득 기법으로 인식되고 있기 때문이다. 이에 본 연구는 페이스북 스토리텔링 유형을 에피소드 유형, 체험담 유형, 기념일 유형, 정보 유형으로 분류하고, 각 유형에 따른 인지적 반응, 감정적 반응의 차이와 구매의도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석했다. 연구결과 기념일 스토리텔링과 정보 스토리텔링이 에피소드 스토리텔링, 체험담 스토리텔링에 비해 인지적 반응(신뢰도, 정보성, 관여도), 감정적 반응(호감도), 구매의도에서 긍정적으로 나타났다. 나아가 스토리텔링 유형별 구매의도에 영향을 미치는 소비자 태도변인을 분석한 결과, 관여도가 가장 중요한 영향을 미치는 변인으로 나타났다. 이런 측면에서 출판사의 페이스북을 통한 스토리텔링 마케팅은 정보 스토리텔링, 기념일 스토리텔링 유형에 초점을 맞추되, 스토리를 통해 얻을 수 있는 재미와 즐거움을 도서 구매의도와 연계시키는 방안을 모색할 필요가 있다.

  • Social media is considered a valuable platform for gathering and analyzing the collective and subconscious opinions of people in Internet and mobile environments, where they express, explicitly and implicitly, their daily preferences for brands and products. Extracting and tracking the various attitudes and concerns that people express through social media could enable us to categorize brands and decipher individuals' cognitive decision-making structure in their choice of brands. We investigate the cognitive network structure of consumers by building an inter-category map through the mining of big data. In so doing, we create an improved online recommendation model. Building on economic sociology theory, we suggest a framework for revealing collective preference by analyzing the patterns of brand names that users frequently mention in the online public sphere. We expect that our study will be useful for those conducting theoretical research on digital marketing strategies and doing practical work on branding strategies.

A Study on Excellent Universities with Video and Media Field in the USA

  • In this paper, I studied several universities which are especially famous for video and media fields in the United States to develop our international competitiveness. I selected the outstanding US universities and researched the various indexes of corresponding department, internship program and other activities related with company. Then, analyzed the research results and compared with the department of Video Broadcasting at the K women's university in our country. As a result, the retention rate and the graduate rate of the 4-years universities(bachelor's degree) are very higher than the 2-years associated degree among the US universities. On the other hand, although the department of Video Broadcasting at the K women's university is the associated degree course, it shows up the highest the retention rate and the graduate rate than the US universities. Therefore, we are able to recognize that K Women's University has managed its students well. However, the employment rate of the K Women's University was poor than the US universities due to the lack of the internship programs, other activities supported by companies and the career service center.
