3.3.5.5 워킹 프로그램이 노인의 건강증진에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of the 3.3.5.5 Walking Club Program to Health Promotion of the Elderly)

  • Purpose: We had executed the 3 3 5 5 walking club program for 12 weeks for one hour three times per week to evaluate the effect of the program on health of the elderly. Methods: A pre and post measurement tool of the program was applied to measure obesity, rate of body fat, blood pressure, vital capacity, standard vital capacity, intake capacity of maximum oxygen, grasping power, reaction of whole body, pulse, body mass index (BMI), total bodily score, age of bodily strength, age of health. Data collected from this tool was analyzed by SPSS in paired t-test. Results: The 3 3 5 5 walking club program has affected the weight control of the participants. The participants of 3 3 5 5 walking club program reduced their weight from 61.7 kg to 61.25 kg, rate of body fat from 21.89 kg to 21.22 kg, standard vital capacity from 2,393.56 ml to 2,380.44 ml, reaction of whole body from 475.38 msec to 439.33 msec, and increased grasping power from 22.06 to 23.16 ml (p<.05), total bodily score 68.91 points to 71.38 points significantly (p<.05). Conclusion: The result indicated that the 3.3.5.5 Walking club program has an positive effect on improving health care of the elderly without special exercise tools.

복어 독(Tetrodotoxin)에 관한 문헌적 고찰 (Bibliographic Studies on the Tetrodotoxin(TTX))

  • We were trying to study the validity of Puffer fish's poison(Tetrodotoxin- TTX) to make a traditional Korean Medical treatment. The following conclusions were made after literary studies. 1. The first record of the puffer fish dates back 2000 years ago in the Chinese text Book of Mountain and Sea and other texts from the similar period. 2. Puffer fish's poison IS known as tetrodotoxin which is an amino perhydroquinazoline compound. It has a chemical formula of $C_{11}H_{17}N_3O_8$ in the hemiacetal structure and has the molecular weight of 319. 3. Tetrodotoxin (TTX) plays a role as potent neurotransmitter blocker by blocking the $Na^+$ -gate channel which hinders the influx of $Na^+$ ion into the cell. 4. Symptoms of the puffer fish poisoning ranges from blunted sense in the lips and tongue, occasional vomiting in the first degree to sudden descending of the blood pressure, apnea, and other critical conditions in the fourth degree. Intoxication of the puffer fish poison progresses at a rapid pace as death may occur after an hour and half up to eight hours in maximum. Typical death occurs after four to six hours. 5. Ways to treat the puffer fish poisoning include gastric irrigation, induce vomiting, purgation, intravenous fluid injection, and correcting electrolytic imbalance and acidosis. In cases of dyspnea, apply oxygen inhalation and conduct artificial respiration. 6. Tetrodotoxin (TTX) may be applied in treating brain disorders, ocular pain, excess pain in the large intestine and ileum, and relieving tension of the skeletal museles, neuralgia, rheumatism, arthritis, and etc. 7. In terms of Oriental medicine, the puffer fish poison has characteristics of sweet, warm, and poisonous. It's known efficacies are to tonify weakness, dispel damp, benefit the lower back, relieve hemorrhoid, kills parasites, remove edema, and so forth. And the puffer fish eggs processed with ginger are said to be effective against tuberculosis and lung cancer, thus, it's validity must be investigated and further research should be followed.

파킨슨병에서 기립저혈압과 인지 기능의 관계 (Orthostatic Hypotension and Cognitive Function in Parkinson's Disease)

  • Background: Although orthostatic hypotension (OH) and cognitive impairment (CI) are common non- motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease (PD), the relationship between OH and CI remains to be clarified. This study was aimed to investigate the relationship between OH and CI in PD. Methods: We recruited 192 patients who were diagnosed as PD based on the UK Brain Bank diagnostic criteria. The Hoehn & Yahr stages were ranged I to III and patients underwent extensive clinical evaluation, including brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for cerebral white matter hyperintensity (WMH), tilt table test, the Korean version of Montreal Cognitive Assessments and the Korean version of Mini-Mental Status Examination in one month from the first clinic visit. The participants were divided into two groups according to the presence of OH (OH+ vs. OH-) and cognitive function (cognitive normal, CN vs. CI), respectively. Results: Significant relationship between OH and cognitive function (p=0.04) was found in our patients. The patients with OH+ had higher risk of CI by 2.6 times than that of OH- patients. Maximum heart rate change during tilt table test was correlated with cognitive function and white matter changes, whereas blood pressure change during tilt table test showed no correlation with those parameters. Conclusions: There was significant relationship between OH and CI in PD. Therefore, PD patients with either symptom may need periodic evaluation and proper management for OH and cognitive functions.

인체 부착용 방사패턴 재구성 안테나의 SNR 및 BER 성능 분석 (Performance analysis of SNR and BER for radiation pattern reconfigurable antenna)

  • 본 논문은 생체신호 (체온, 혈압, 맥박 등)를 측정하는 웨어러블 (Wearable) 디바이스에 장착된 인체 부착용 방사패턴 재구성 안테나의 통신성능 비교에 관한 논문이다. 제안된 안테나의 동작주파수는 블루투스 (Bluetooth) 통신 대역의 2.4 - 2.5 GHz 이며, 안테나의 최대이득은 1.96 dBi 이다. 제안된 안테나는 두 개의 RF 스위치 (PIN diode)를 이용하여 서로 반대방향의 빔을 생성하여 전자기파 신호를 효율적으로 송수신 한다. 또한 제안된 안테나는 탑 로딩(Top Loading)을 이용 세 가지의 각도 변경 ($30^{\circ}$, $90^{\circ}$, $150^{\circ}$)을 통해 각 방사패턴의 지향성 변화를 조사 하였다. 본 논문에서는 방사패턴 재구성 안테나를 통해 전파 간섭이 없는 전자파 차페실의 이상적인 전파환경과 실제 전파간섭이 존재 (Universal Software Radio Peripheral, USRP)하는 스마트 하우스 내에서 웨어러블 디바이스 안테나의 신호대 집음비 (Signal-to-Noise Ratio, SNR) 및 비트 에러율 (Bit Error Rate, BER) 성능 측정을 진행하였다. 두 경우의 측정 비교 시 SNR은 평균적으로 5 dB의 성능저하를 보이며, BER은 최대 10배 증가하여 수신 에러율 (Error rate of receiving signal)이 높아지는 것을 확인하였으며, 본 논문에서 측정한 SNR과 BER의 측정 결과로 전자파기기의 방해전파로 인한 성능저하를 수치상으로 예측 하였다.

카드뮴중독이 흰쥐 정관 및 꼬리동맥의 아드레나린성 ${\alpha}-$수용체에 미치는 영향 (Alteration of ${\alpha}-Adrenoceptor$ by Cd-poisoning in Rat Vas Deferens and Tail Artery)

  • 흰쥐 정관 및 꼬리 동맥의 ${\alpha}_1-$${\alpha}_2-$수용체, 그리고 prostaglandine과 관련해 NA 유리에 미치는 Cd의 영향을 관찰하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. Cd 중독 흰쥐 정관에서 전기 자극에 대한 반응은 증가하였으며, Freq.50은 대조군보다 현저히 낮아졌으며 꼬리동맥의 반응은 감약되었다. 2. Cd 중독 정관에서 clonidine의 억제반응은 유의하게 감소하였으나 methoxamine 존재하의 전기 자극 반응은 영향을 받지 아니하였다. 3. $PGE_2$에 의한 억제작용은 Cd 중독군에서는 소실되었으나 꼬리 동맥에서 $PGE_2$의 억제효과는 Cd 중독으로 영향을 받지 아니하였다. 4. Cd 중독 꼬리 동맥에서 methoxamine 및 clonidine에 대한 수축반응은 최대 수축고가 현저히 낮아졌으나 $ED_{50}$치는 변화하지 아니하였다. 이상의 결과로 보아 Cd 중독시 정관에서 시냅스 전막 autoreceptor가 억제되어 교감 신경 흥분성이 증가함으로써 전기자극에 대한 반응이 항진되었다고 생각된다.

실험적 고혈압 백서의 심맥관계 기능조절에 있어서 중추 Opiate System의 역할 (Role of Central opiate System in Control of Cardiovascular Function of Experimental Hypertensive Rats)

  • Morphine을 비롯한 opioid peptide가 말초 또는 중추에 투여시 혈압하강과 심박동수감소를 보이며 opiate 수용체 길항제인 naloxone에 의해 길항됨이 관찰되었던바 근래 몇몇 보고들은 중추신경내에서 adrenergic및 opioidergic system이 서로 관련되어 있음을 시사하고 있다. 이에 본 실험에서 고혈압 연구에 널리 사용되고 있는 2-kidney, 1-clip (2K1C) 방법으로 실험적 고혈압을 유발시킨 백서의 측뇌실내 clonidine또는 morphine의 심맥관계에 대한 효과와 각각의 차단제에 의한 영향 그리고 정상 및 고혈압상태 백서의 뇌내 ${\beta}-endorphin$의 함량과 specific opiate receptor binding을 정량하여 고혈압 유발에 따른 뇌내 opiate system의 변동을 관찰하였다. 2K1C 고혈압 또는 sham-operated대조백서에서 측뇌실내 clonidine $(3-30\;{\mu}g/kg)$은 용량에 비례하여 혈압하강과 심박동수감소를 일으켰으며 clonidine의 혈압강하 효과는 2K1C고혈압 백서에서 더욱 현저하였다. clonidine의 혈압강하효과는 고혈압 백서에서 측뇌실내 yohimbine 또는 naloxone 전처리에 의해 약화되었고 대조군에서는 yohimbine ($30\;{\mu}g/kg$, i.v.t.)에 의해 억제되었으나 naloxone ($50\;{\mu}g/kg$, i.v.t.)에 의해서는 영향 받지 않았다. clonidine과 마찬가지로 측뇌실내 morphine $(10-100\;{\mu}g/kg)$은 2K1C 고혈압 또는 sham-operated 대조백서에서 용량에 비례하여 혈압하강과 심박동수감소를 일으켰으며, morphine의 혈압강하효과는 2K1C 고혈압백서에서 더욱 현저하였다. 대조군과 고혈압군에서 morphine의 혈압강하효과는 naloxone 전처리에 의해 현저히 약화되었으나 yohimbine에 의해서는 영향 받지 않았다. 2K1C 시술익일부터 투여한 clonidine은 2K1C 시술에 의한 혈압 상승을 억제하였으며 naloxone (2 mg/kg, i.p.)에 의해 반전되었다. 2K1C 시술에 의해 고혈압이 유발된 백서의 뇌내 ${\beta}-endorphin$ 함량은 sham-operated 군에 비하여 유의하게 감소되어 있었고 (3H)-naloxone의 specific binding의 Bmax는 증가되었으나 Kd치는 변동되지 않았다. 이상의 실험 성적은 뇌내 opiate계가 혈압조절에 중요한 역할을 담당하고 있으며 2K1C 고혈압백서의 고혈압상태 유지에 뇌내 opiate계의 기능저하가 일부관여하고 있음을 강력히 시사한다.

무용요법이 노인의 신체적.심리적 특성에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Dance Therapy on Physical and Psychological Characteristics in The Elderly)

  • This study was performed to explore the effects of a dance therapy on physical and psychological characteristics in the elderly. The design of this study was a non-equivalent pre-post test experiment. The subjects consisted of elderly persons living in a facility located in Suweon and Bucheon. Fifty eight subjects, aged between 65 and 93 years who had normal cognition, sensory function, balance, and resting blood pressure. They underwent tests of balance, flexibility, muscle strength, depression, and anxiety as baseline data before dance therapy, and at 6th week and at the end of the 12nd week after following dance therapy. Twenty seven elderly persons were assigned to the experimental group and participated with the dance therapy between April and July, 1998. The dance therapy was developed by the author with the help of a dance therapist and a physiatrist. This therapy was based on the Marian Chace's dance therapy and Korean traditional dance with music. The dance therapy consists of 50 minutes session, 3 times a week for 12 weeks. One session was consisted of warming-up, expression, catharsis, sharing, and closing stage. The intensity of the dance therapy was at the 40 % of age-adjusted maximum heart rates. Data were analysed with mead standard deviation, Chi-square test, unpaired t-test, repeated measures ANOVA, and Bonferroni multiple regression using SAS program. 1. The results related to the physical characteristics were as follows : 1) The balance (standing on one leg, walking on the balancing bar), flexibility and muscle strength (knee extensor, knee flexor, ankle plantarflexor and dorsiflexor) of the experimental subjects significantly increased over time mere than that of the control subjects. 2) The experimental group had significantly higher score for balance, flexibility, muscle strength of knee extensor, and knee flexor than the control group at the 12nd week after dance therapy. 3) The experimental group had significantly higher score for muscle strength of ankle dorsiflexor and plantarflexor than the control group at the 6th week and the 12nd week after dance therapy. 2. The results related to psychological characteristics were as follows : 1) Scores of Geriatric Depression Scale, Hamilton Depression Rating Scale, and Zung's Self-rating Anxiety Scale of the experimental group were significantly decreased over time more than that of the control group. 2) The experimental group had significantly lower score for depression than the control group at the 12nd week after dance therapy. 3) The experimental group had significantly lower score for anxiety than the control group at the 6th week and the 12nd week after dance therapy. The findings showed that the dance therapy could be effective in improving the balances, flexibility, and muscle strength of lower limb, and effective in decreasing the depression and anxiety of the elderly. Additional merits of the dance therapy would be inexpensiveness, easy accessibility, and increasing interpersonal relationship. It can be suggested that the dance therapy is effective in the health promotion of the elderly.

돈분퇴비 시용이 산국의 질소흡수 및 수량과 유호성분에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Pig Manure Application on Nitrogen Uptake, Yield and Active Components of Chrysanthemum boreale M.)

  • 돈분퇴비 시용시 산국 (Chrysanthemum boreale)의 수량과 유효성분들의 함량변화를 알아보고자 토양 16 kg이 충진된 와그너포트에서 돈분퇴비가 각각 0, 2000, 4000, 6000, 8000, 12000 kg $10a^{-1}$을 처리한 결과, 8000 kg $10a^{-1}$처리구에서 대조구보다 전체 수량과 꽃의 수량은 각각 5.9배 (195.0 g $plant^{-1}$)와 24배 (21.7 g $plant^{-1}$)가 증가한 것으로 조사되었다. 질소양분 이용율은 4000 kg $10a^{-1}$처리구가 66.6%로 가장 높았다. 꽃에서의 주요 아미노산은 proline $(7.4{\sim}9.2\;g\;kg^{-1})$이였으며, 돈분퇴비의 시용량이 증가할수록 정의 상관관계를 보였다. Cumambrin A함량을 측정한 결과, 돈분퇴비 시용량에 의한 질소의 함량이 증가할수록 부의 상관관계가 나타났으나 ($R^2$=-0.723, p<0.01), 전체 수량면에서는 오히려 돈분퇴비의 시용량이 증가할수록 cumambrin A의 수량이 오히려 증가하였다. 이로서 돈분퇴비의 시용이 산국의 수량을 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대되었다.

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the physiological responses and the Subjective sensations of the human subjects when 10 human subjects(5 males and 5 females) were tested with selected ensembles, including the uniforms of students, industrial and bank workers. For the study, garment material and design were selected, which was mostly used in Taegu area by the survey. Thermal manikin and the human subject tests were performed. The results were as follows: 1. There was no significant difference among skin temperature of head by season and among that of breast and back by all variables, however, there was a significant difference among that of belly by gender and that of thigh and shank by season. In addition, there was no significant difference among rectal temperature by gender and season, but there was a significant difference by uniform. 2. Mean skin temperature of male subjects was significantly higher than that of female subjects. Specially in lower environmental condition, the difference got larger. 3. There was a significant difference among purse rate of subjects by uniform, but there was no significant difference among those by gender and season. There were no significant difference among maximum and minimum blood pressure by gender, uniform, and season. 4. There was a significant difference in temperature of chest among gender and uniform, and there was no significant difference in temperature of back by season. In addition, There was a significant difference in humidity of back by uniform and season but there were no significant difference in that by gender. 5. There was a significant difference in humidity sensation by gender, comfort sensation by uniform and season, but there was no significant difference thermal sensation by uniform and season. 6. For the result of regression analysis, we got the regression equations as follows: Clo=1.810 Thickness+0.525, Clo=0.475 weight+0.863.

정상성인에서의 Tc-99m-DTPA 폐제거율 (Tc-99m-DAPA Pulmonary Clearance in Normals)

  • 이상의 성적을 종합하여 보면, 강남성모병원 방사선과에 근무하는 정상성인 17인을 대상으로 앙와위에서 Tc-99m-DTPA 연무를 흡입시킨 후 측정한 Tc-99m -DTPA 폐제거율은 그 반감기가 평균 5$51{\pm}11.2$분이었고, 좌위에서 흡연시킨 후 측정한 다른 보고들과는 달리 폐하부에서 더 빨랐다.
