In this study, To subject the constructed at N-kindergarten in G-city, the position is closed window and opened window was measured using a measuring instrument for radon. The measured results indicate that the measurement was carried out in concentrations of radon gas measured at N-kindergarten is low than United States in the radon concentration in air public 4pCi called radon gas baseline maximum allowable concentrations. As a result, radon exposure is not a problem, but when the accumulation radon gas in the lungs, get damaged same lung cancer. Be defensive of kindergarten windows open for ventilation and dust removal be possible to reduce the exposure.

The consumption of enoki mushrooms has been associated with cases of listeriosis produced by Listeria monocytogenes, highlighting the significance of sanitizing food-contact surface, such as the velcro used in welding processing of enoki mushrooms, to ensure microbial safety. We investigated the inhibitory activity of nine chemical disinfectants at regular concentrations against L. monocytogenes isolated from a mushroom farm environment. The bacterial suspension was prepared in phosphate buffered saline and mushroom extract broth and inoculated onto the velcro surface. After inoculation, most disinfectants reduced the initial 8 log CFU/coupon concentration by less than 2 log CFU/coupon during a 5-min treatment. Slightly acidic hypochlorous water showed a reduction of approximately 4 log CFU/coupon when tested for more than 30 min at the maximum allowable concentration of 200 mg/L. Sodium hypochlorite solution showed a reduction of approximately 5 log CFU/coupon when used at 100 mg/L for 60 min. Peracetic acid, at the maximum allowable concentration of 300 mg/L, showed the most effective reduction of 5 log CFU/coupon or more when the surface was treated with 37.5 mg/L for 30 min. These results indicate that peracetic acid can be used as the disinfectant strategy to control cross-contamination of L. monocytogenes on the velcro surface of plastic wrappers used in the welding processing of enoki mushrooms.
Corrosive environment may be generated within steam generators from condenser cooling water in-leakage. Theoretical analysis of the accumulation of chloride as a sea water impurity is being carried out for the condenser cooling water used at YGN-1,2 nuclear power stations. Calculations have shown that highly concentrated chloride solution would be produced within the steam generators in the case of sea water in-leakage. Maximum allowable design condenser leak rate(0.5 gpm) leads chloride concentration of 2.3 ppm at steam generetor and 0.6 ppm at hotwell with the maximum blowdown rate and condensate purification. Concentration factor at steam generator is dependent only on both blowdoum rate and condensate purification efficiency as follows, Concentration Factor(equation omitted)(B$\neq$O) Blowdown and condensate purification are evaluated as the only effective measures to remove impurities from the secondary systems.
An efficient packed-bed type biofilm reactor charged with immobilized phototrophs was developed to treat organic wastewater at an extremely high volumetric loading rate. The packed bed reactor (PBR) charged with porous ceramic beads was superior to a fluidized-bed reactor suspended with activated carbon powders in terms of many aspects such as BOD removal efficiency, operational stability, and overall economics. For wastewater with BOD concentration as high as 20, 000mg/l, the BOD removal efficiency was maintained above 90% when the hydraulic retention time (HRT) was longer than 1 day. The allowable volumetric BOD loading rate of this reactor (20gBOD/l day) is more than ten-folds higher than that of an ordinary activated sludge method. The behaviour of the reactor was represented well by a Monod type kinetic equation with a maximum specific BOD loading rate(P) of 22.2gBOD/l day and a half saturation constant(K$_{s}$) of 1, 750 mgBOD/l.
Ethylene oxide gas has been used as a cold sterilant for heat-sensitive medical equipments and as a fumigant for food for more than 30 years, and it is used more widely than radiation although radiation sterilization has made significant inroads in recent years. But according to recent studies of toxicities such as mutagenicity, haemolytic effect and possible carcinogenicity of Ethylene oxide (ETO) and its two main reaction products, Ethylene chlorohydrin (ETCH) and Ethylene glycol (ETG), Environmental Protection Agency in U.S.A. has suggested some regulations on residual gas in drug products and medical devices for human use. The mutagenic activity of ETO compared with that of X-ray has an equivalency of 1 ppm/hr for ETO as compared to 20 mrad for X-ray, and one could suggest the present maximum allowable concentration for ETO (50 ppm) should be 400 times lower than the radiation standard (2.5 mrad/hr). Although radiation sterilization has advantages of simplicity of operation and complete reliability, changes of physico-chemical properties with possible formation of toxic substances may occur. It is therefore necessary to make some regulations of our own for residual toxicities orginated from each sterilization method.
Effects of CuO addition on the sintering ability and the phase stability of Y-TZP. (Yttria doped Tetragonal Zirconia Polycrystals) were studied. The CuO dopants were found to be quite effective in reducing the sintering temperature to obtain full density and refining the grain size. The maximum allowable concentration of the dopants was limited to 0.3%mol% for CuO to maintain fully tetragonal phase. With the addition of these dopants, the flexual strength decreased by 20% in comparison with the undoped specimen but the fracture toughness increased by 15%.

The purpose of this study was the analytical safety evaluation on the super-structure of precast modular bridge using standardized modular members and robotic construction during the transportation routing and lifting conditions. In order to evaluate the safety performance of the bridge system, 3-D full scale Finite Element (FE) of 40 m standardized modular block was developed in ABAQUS, followed by the analytical study to classify the structural system according to steel girder structures: 1) modular bridge block lifting method including the steel girder system; 2) modular bridge block lifting method without the steel girder system. The results from the analytical study revealed that the maximum stress of each modular member was within the maximum allowable stresses during lifting condition. However, the stress concentration at the connected area was more critical in comparison to the behavior of 40 m combined modular blocks during lifting time

Due to emission of vehicles during loading/unloading, ventilation system in Roll-on/Roll-off ship is inevitable; however it is very difficult to predict the ventilation performance before it is finally built in. Although the requirements for the ventilation system include air change rate and maximum allowable concentration of CO in the cargo holds, even prototype tests are hardly able to quantify the ventilation performance. In the present paper, a new method to assess the ventilation performance of Roll-on/Roll-off ship is proposed by using computational fluid dynamics. The air exchange is modeled by introducing multi-species transport of existing air In the holds and new air from the ventilation system. Conservation of multi-species as well as 3D Navier-Stokes equation are solved numerically in time dependent manner. Several cases of different configuration are considered. The results include predicted mass fraction of new air in the holds. It is also presented that CO concentration can be estimated based on the predicted air change performance. Due to the lack of experimental data, the computed results are not verified; however the proposed method can be applied as au assessment tool.

Biogas is widely accepted as one of renewable energy. Raw biogas can be used in internal combustion engines either spark ignition or diesel engines. Since the gas has relatively low calorific values, engine power also is lower than rated power values. Modified engines or biogas-specific engines have been utilized in order to increase efficiency. Recently, gas engine/generators are provided for various purposes. They are mostly for LPG or natural gas. When biogas is fueled to the gas engines, de-rating is inevitable due to its lower calorific values. Meanwhile, massively produced commercial gas engines are more competitive in terms of initial investment for engines, compared to biogas-specific engines. Then, the characteristics of the commercial engine and power generation should be understood for better operation. A 5kW gas engine/generator(natural gas) was tested for determining an allowable maximum concentration of $CO_2$ in synthetic biogas, with respect to engine stating, power generation. Experimental results indicated that about 65% of methane concentration is required to start the gas engine. At this condition, the power generated was about 3 kW. It is about 60% of the nominal power, which is similar to the ratio of calorific values.
In order to establish optimal dosage schedules and withdrawal times for sulfamethazine(SMZ) in pigs, pharmacokinetic and tissue distribution experiments were conducted in pigs. For comparative purposes, tissue depletion kinetics are also studied in rats. From three pigs administered with SMZ i.v., the pharmacokinetic profile of SMZ in two pigs was adequately described by a one-compartment open model whereas that in one pig was patterned after a two-compartment open model. Volume of distribution(Vd) was 0.48~0.57 L/kg and biological half-life($t_{1/2}$) was 11.8-16.8 h. From three pigs dosed with SMZ p.o., pharmacokinetic profile was explainable with a one-compartment open model. Time to reach maximum SMZ concentration in serum (Tmax) was 2.8 h, 3.2 h and 7.5 h. Elimination half-life was 2.8-7.5 h. The descending order in concentration of SMZ was plsama > kidney > liver > lung > heart > pancreas > spleen > duodenum > ileum > brain > adipsoe tissue from three pigs sacrificed at 5h, 29h and 54h after the administration of SMZ, p.o.. The protein binding of SMZ in pigs was 55.2%($2.5{\mu}g/ml$), 71.5% ($5{\mu}g/kg$) and 71.5%($10{\mu}g/ml$). The mean systemic bioavailability (F) of SMZ p.o. was 49.1 %. Meanwhile the pharmacokinetic profile of SMZ in rats was adequately described by a one-compartment open model. Absorption of SMZ p.o. in the rat was very rapid. In conclusion, the oral optimal dosage regimen of SMZ for pigs was the initial dose of 45.7 mg/kg followed by the maintenance dose of 30.2 mg/kg for high specific pathogens to SMZ. The time to reach below the stipulated residual allowable concentration (0.1 ppm) was calculated 93 h after oral administration of 200 mg/kg recommended by manufactureres.
