  • This study analyzes and categorizes the cases of military look's transitional design ideas in recent women's fashion collections, and derives characteristics. The research method is a theoretical review of military look and an analysis of fashion collection cases. The research results were classified into a total of six transformational design ideas. As a structural change in design, it is a decentralized type, a type of expansion and reduction, a change in the entire material, or a transition of some materials, and finally a type according to heterogeneous harmony and organic combination corresponding to styling. Finally, a total of three characteristics are the reconstruction of structural elements, the expansion of the metric of the second mix match, and the emotional fusion of styling. I hope that the study of the transformative type of idea of the new military look will be the driving force for creative design development and will be a basic study that can read the current status and changes of the times throughout fashion design.

  • The number of 1 or 2 households is rapidly increasing due to the participants of women in the working society, the increment of unmarried men, and the change in family structure. The current housing market and the housing administration focuses more on the bigger number of households so that single person households are being neglected. As more individuals move to the capital, living in the city for a single person household has become very difficult. Sharing has become an important aspect among the society and shared housings have hit the minds of single person households as a new way of living. Comprehensive properties, boarding houses, housings for studying (Go-Si-Won), and officetels match the ideas of shared housings. The absent of clear standards on private rooms and shared facilities is making the living very challenging. This study aim to understand foreign (England, Australia, and Japan) institutional characteristics for shared housings to build foundations in order to bring in shared housings into Korea. The residential concept can not be applied to shared housings in Korea directly since the idea of living is different for each nation and its cultural distinctions. However, a clear classification and standards on shared housings depending on the size of the house and number of residents are needed alongside with an index of principles and residential criteria.

  • The Vivienne Westwood's design is divided into four eras : The 'Punk and Ethnic Style' era, The 'Feminine Style' era, The 'Eclectic Style' era and The 'Retrospective Style' era. The aesthetic characteristics of Vivienne Westwood's design vastly divided into Parody and the Punk Couture. Westwood's parody is exprssed by british materials, that is traditional British tailoring, dressmaking techniques, traditional british fabrics and her debt to the past. Also Westwood has presented the special characteristics of Punk Couture showing Punk-Style clothes by applying Couture sense to her own Pret a Porter Collection. She pursued newness breaking the conventional aesthetic consciousness through her cutting, mix and match of fabrics and cordy of punk details. Westwood pursued new aesthetics by deconstruction and destruction regulated existing ideas that had been systematized, conventionalized and standardized by history and culture. She had shown pluralistic fashion through her design that exactly reflected characteristics of the modern society demanding variety.

  • The upcoming century is a knowledge based society which did not exist before which requires creative ability to solve problems. Therefore, it is necessary to Provide a creative program of problem solution in order to match this global trend The creativity of problem solution means the ability to solve a problem using previous ideas in an advanced way or develop new ideas. Creative education is especially important for infants. Because the young mind is where fresh ideas preside and can frame-work the early stage of life like a blank sheet of paper. The Infant-Early Child Creative Development Institute. as an adhesive institute at Yeungjin College, develops various programs that integrate methods which match current trend in this era and also start the Creative Promotion Test with 2,000 Families for the expansion of creative education from the baseline as an alternative method. The infants tested in the creative test will find ways of problem solution through animation beam projects for their given situation and also discuss the problems with their family members. Through these processes the infant and family members will complete the creative structures to solve the problems using limited materials given by the institute, and the final product will be evaluated as objective results. The final evaluation of the test will also be considered the teamwork of family cooperation and the attitudes of participants as well as the product of problem solution. The criterion of the evaluation is to be considered both a creative way of thinking and creative attitudes. Because the score counts were conducted manually it delayed the selection of awarded students who took the test. Also, we found that some parents have difficulty in accessing information to find the score through homepage from the computer. this Problem might be corrected in the future plan. Like Freud's saying, if human character and exploring attitudes during the early stage of a child, a person's creativity is composed their infant period as their basic foundation. Therefore, the family wh first environment the infant encounters will be treated as a prima when making basic structure. From this viewpoint, this creative test work as a festival of creativity fare with 2,000 families.

  • In this study we determine the level of awareness among academic librarians of ten technological tools as outlined in American Libraries. Towards this end, we conducted a survey targeting 156 academic librarians in 25 Korean university libraries. Questionnaires were designed to determine both the viability and level of acceptance of the ten technological proposals in question. Conclusions drawn after analyzing the responses to the survey were as follows: 1) Customer service can be improved by first drawing up a list of technological skills required for staff members. Methods to develop the cataloging service to more closely match individual user preferences and the use of SMS to send alerts proved to be the proposals, of the ten that were proposed, that not only bore the greatest necessity but also proved to be the most effective once they were implemented. 2) Proposals that proved to be the most difficult to implement were: Using technology to improve the cataloging service to make it more capable of evolving according to the individual preferences of users; the special event wiki for users; and improvements in customer service arising from identifying and drawing up a list of technological skills required for staff members.

  • This thesis explores Vitruvius and his impact upon other Renaissance architects who compare a city to a building or a building to a city, who match the city and the building into a human body, and who develop their own works. The objective of this study is to furnish an interpretation of their theory and practice through their literature and designs. In this point of view, this article takes notice of Vitruvius's six concepts coined from venustas and divides them into two parts: i.e. aesthetic quality (ordinatio, dispositio, and distributio) and technical activity (eurythmia, symmetria, and $d{\acute{e}}cor$) each. This thesis indicates that Vitruvius's successive impacts from the concepts bring about concrete design principles through proportional measurements, placing together, and hierarchic values for the former, as well as appropriate use through beautiful look, symmetrical harmony, and appropriate uses for the latter, tracking notions between a city as a house and vice versa, and either the ideas of the house or the city in the synthesis of the human body, which follows the perfect number and module based on the human body. The thesis shows that the representations of architecture and the city take place with the form of a circle and a square that express the religious belief and the cosmos, substantiating the connection between the proportions of the human body and numbers, and ultimately satisfying a concept of centrality, which is slowly extended to the enclosed plaza at the urban level from chambers, atrium, and corridors at the residence level.

  • The Roh Moo-hyun Government of Korea with highest fierily establishes policy framework and measures to accomplish the goal of regionally balanced development. With the vision "constructing a county in which every region provides high quality of life with its own specificity" and basic strategy "self-sustained localization", the policy framework is geared to economic aspects of development rather than cultual or social aspects. Subsequently, policy measures are also focused on such economic tools as regional innovation system, strategic industry, or industrial cluster. This paper suggests that future policy of balance development should set clear definition of balanced development, be based on a though evaluation of the Bast policy measures, and draw several fresh ideas which match characteristics of each region. These policy directions should be given higher power of practice with efficient organizational support.

  • We, in Korea, have over two hundred hypermarkets and the number is continuously increasing. We drop into a hypermarket for merchandise, which is an integral part of our life style. So, we should consider safety for employees as well as customers because hundreds of thousands of people use the hypermarket every day. In addition to this consideration, the government should also be a political support relating to accidents that occur in the hypermarket because security and safety matters are important to all of us. But even now, Our security conditions do not match our ideal goal and we take countermeasures after accident or loss. This is a result of not having a security management expert coupled with a chief executive officer that has no idea about security awareness and loss prevention. In addition, we do not have specific laws to address these matters. We also lack reasonable ideas to prevent accident and loss. Now is the right time to revamp the laws and ordinances to improve the quality of civilian life. Prevention of accidents is a needed investment for all security personnel. The best solution for businesses is prevention of accidents. This will increase profits and cost-effectiveness as well as increase customer satisfaction. The company should form a security management department for comprehensive protection of assets. The goal of security management employees should be productive and effective security management. Every employee should have responsibility in mind to prevent accidents in his or her work. In addition, The company should have a systematic organization in place and regular training sessions. The most effective security management comes from cooperation of all members. In the 21st century, we pursue a high standard of living which is a result of our cooperation against any accident and loss. Sennewald says The value of security is better measure by what does not happen rather than what does.
