Bindu et al. pointed out that Chein et al. scheme is insecure insider attack and man-in-middle attack. And then they proposed new one. In the paper, However, Bindu et al's scheme also have some problems; It is strong masquerading server/user attack and restricted reply attack. Hence we proposed improved scheme. finally, we completely had evaluated the one's security on strong masquerading server/user attack, Insider attack, Restricted attack, Stolen-verifier attack and forward secrecy. In this paper, although proposed scheme includes more operation than Bindu et al. scheme, our scheme overcomes problems of Bindu et al. scheme by the operation that is light as not to influence on modern computing technology.

Although password-based authentication as known as knowledge-based authentication was commonly used but intrinsic problems such as dictionary attack remain unsolved. For that the study on possession-based authentication was required. User remote authentication using smartcard is proceeding actively since Lee et al. proposed user remote authentication using knowledge-based information(password) and possession-base information(smartcard) in 2002. in 2009, Xu et al. proposed a new protocol preserving user anonymity and Shin et al. proposed enhanced scheme with analysis of its vulnerabilities on user anonymity and masquerading attack in 2012. In this paper, we analyze Shin et al. scheme on forward secrecy and insider attack and present novel user authentication based on elliptic curve cryptosystem which is secure against forward secrecy, insider attack, user anonymity and masquerading attack.

Chondrosarcoma of the chest wall is a rare primary neoplasm found to occur in elderly men. Patients present with an enlarging, painful, anterior chest wall mass arising from either the vicinity of the costochondral junction or the sternum. Treatment includes wide resection with appropriate chest wall reconstruction. We report an unusual presentation of this uncommon tumor occurring as a huge chest wall mass in a young teenage girl.

Intraosseous ameloblastoma is the most common and simple type of ameloblastoma prevalent among odontogenic tumors. Clinico-radiographically intraosseous ameloblastoma presents as slow, painless swelling or expansion of the jaws and described as multilocular expansile radiolucency that occurs most frequently in mandibular molar/ramus area. This article describes a case of follicular ameloblastoma involving 45 year old male which is different from the usual presentation, which includes-exophytic growth, different location and without expansion of the cortex.

Pulmonary strongyloidiasis is an uncommon presentation of Strongyloides infection, usually seen in immunocompromised hosts. The manifestations are similar to that of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Therefore, the diagnosis of pulmonary strongyloidiasis could be challenging in a COPD patient, unless a high index of suspicion is maintained. Here, we present a case of Strongyloides hyperinfection in a COPD patient mimicking acute exacerbation, who was on chronic steroid therapy.

We experienced a case of congenital insensitivity to pain with anhidrosis mimicking a chronic osteomyelitis of the talus, with recurrent ankle swelling and intermittent fever. He was misdiagnosed as low virulence osteomyelitis at other hospital in annual recurrence for 3 years. A Charcot joint in children is a very rare condition and diagnosis should be made in a careful approach.

Acute stroke with isolated monoparesis manifesting as distal weakness of a single lower extremity has rarely been described. We report two patients with small cortical infarction who had distal weakness of a single lower extremity. In both cases, diffusion-weighted image [DWI] was used to detect small lesions in the contralateral cortex. These cases illustrate that small cortical infarction can cause isolated monoparesis limited to distal part of the leg and it may be misdiagnosed as spinal lesions, especially when lower back pain and transient sensory symptoms are accompanied. In case of the abrupt onset of weakness limited to one lower limb, the possibility of stroke should be considered and careful attention to identify cortical lesions using magnetic resonance imaging, especially DWI is required.

Recently, many biometrics-based user authentication schemes for telecare medicine information systems (TMIS) have been proposed to improve the security problems in user authentication system. In 2014, Mishra et al. proposed an improvement of Awasthi-Srivastava's biometric based authentication for TMIS which is secure against the various attacks and provide mutual authentication, efficient password change. In this paper, we discuss the security of Mishra et al.'s authentication scheme, and we have shown that Mishra et al.'s authentication scheme is still insecure against the various attacks. Also, we proposed the improved scheme to remove these security problems of Mishra et al.'s authentication scheme, even if the secret information stored in the smart card is revealed. As a result, we can see that the improved biometric based authentication scheme is secure against the insider attack, the password guessing attack, the user impersonation attack, the server masquerading attack and provides mutual authentication between the user and the telecare system.

In 2013, Lee-Lie proposed secure smart card based authentication scheme of Zhu's authentication for TMIS which is secure against the various attacks and efficient password change. In this paper, we discuss the security of Lee-Lie's smart card-based authentication scheme, and we have shown that Lee-Lie's authentication scheme is still insecure against the various attacks. Also, we proposed the improved scheme to overcome these security problems of Lee-Lie's authentication scheme, even if the secret information stored in the smart card is revealed. As a result, we can see that the improved smart card based user authentication scheme for TMIS is secure against the insider attack, the password guessing attack, the user impersonation attack, the server masquerading attack, the session key generation attack and provides mutual authentication between the user and the telecare system.

Applications of Internet of Things (IoT) supply various conveniences, however unsolved security problems such as personal privacy, data manipulation cause harm to persons, even nations and an limit the applicable areas of Internet of IoT technology. Therefore, study about secure and efficient security system on IoT are required. This paper proposes ID-based remote user authentication scheme in IoT environments. Proposed scheme provides untraceability of users by using different pseudonym identities in every session and reduces the number of variables. Our proposal is secure against inside attack, smart card loss attack, user impersonation attack, server masquerading attack, online/offline password guessing attack, and so on. Therefore, this can be applied to the lightweight IoT environments.
