This study was done to find out the correlation between manual palpitation and mechanical measurement and the possibility to produce the data using chest and abdominal Front Point(募穴). Followings are the results from the present study. 1. The maximal pressure felt by the patient was 10kgf/$cm^2$. 2. The maximal deformation felt by the patient was in the range of 6cm. 3. The modulus (index obtained by the division of maximal pressure and maximal deformation) was highly correlated with manual palpitation. 4. It was useful to classify two front points in the abdomen and chest when modulus is concerned. 5. When the index of elastic modulus are big and small enough, it is said excessiveness and deficiency(虛實), respectively. Overall, this study was able to find the possibility to quantify the traditional state of excessiveness and deficiency in the form of objected data.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to report the clinical effectiveness of Korean medicine treatment on postmenopausal syndrome. Methods: The patient with postmenopausal syndrome with palpitation was treated with Korean medicine treatment during 14 days of hospitalization. The patient received Korean medicine treatment including herbal medicine, acupuncture and moxibustion. The effect of treatment on postmenopausal syndrome was evaluated through the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) and questionnaire. Palpitation and arrhythmia was evaluated by Electrocardiogram (ECG) and manual pulse diagnosis three times a day. Result: After the treatment, the clinical postmenopausal symptoms of palpitation and hot flush were improved. Also, ECG's result was improved ventricular premature contraction to normal ECG. Conclusions: This case report proved that the Korean medicine treatment may be effective for improving postmenopausal syndrome with palpitation and hot flush. However, further clinical study is needed in the future to prove the effectiveness of Korean medicine treatment for postmenopausal syndrome with palpitation and hot flush.

Objective : This study is designed to evaluate the effects of an oriental medical therapy, the Chuna Manual Relaxation Therapy on symptom of Panic disorder. Method : The clinical data was analyzed on a patient with Panic disorder whose main symptoms were palpitation, perpirtion, hydrodipsomania, chest pain, burning sensation. Result : After treatment, the patient's main symptoms were disappeared and secondary symptoms were improved. Conclusion : This study suggests that the Chuna Manual Relaxation Therapy is significantly effective in treatment of Panic disorders.
