국가 지리 정보 시스템에 의해 국가 기본 지형도가 DXF 포맷으로 제작되어 있고, CAD로 작성된 정보들이 풍부하며 스캐너를 이용하여 쉽게 데이터를 획득 가능함으로 기존의 DXF 파일의 수입은 비용과 시간을 절약한다. 또한, 지형도와 같은 공간 데이터를 GIS를 위한 중간 파일인 PostScript와 같은 포맷으로 변환하여 다른 시스템으로 수출이 가능하도록 하여야 한다. 이를 위해, 본 논문에서는 DXF 포맷으로 작성된 파일을 MVF로 수입하고, 다시 PostScript로 수출하기 위하여 공간 객체 변환기를 구성하는 3개의 단위 모듈인 파일 처리 모듈, MVF 수입 모듈, 그리고 MVF 수출 모듈들을 설계 및 구현하였다. 그리고 DXF 파일로 되어 있는 지형도에 대해서 실제 변환을 검증해 보았다.

This study analyzes the characteristics of good impression using speech manipulation scripts and investigates the characteristics of preferred speech voice. Fourty male and female college students participated in this study. They have been exposed to the Gyeongsang dialect spoken by their friends and family for more than 15 years. Two sample voices(1 male and 1 female), considered as giving good impression, were subject to voice analysis. Two students were asked to read the sample paragraph of 'Walking' and their voice samples were analyzed through Praat. The collected speech data were manipulated into 4 different sets by changing pitch level, degree of loudness and speech rate. First, both men and women received good impression more from pitch-lowered sound than from the original one. Second, men tended to receive good impression more from slightly louder voice than from the natural-pitched one. Third, it was shown that men often felt more drowned to a voice at slightly faster speech rate than at the original speech rate. Overall, both male and female listeners favored lower pitch over the original pitch. Men tended to prefer louder voice sound while women preferred less loud one. Men received better impression at a lower speech rate but women at a faster speech rate.

아주 오래전부터 우리 인류에게 영향을 미친것 중 두가지는 "새로운 시각을 표현하려는 것" 과 "지속적인 영상 신기술 개발" 일 것이다. 본 논문은 사이버 공간상에서 시각화 기법과 애니메이션 기법을 사용하여 컴퓨터와 인간사이에서 발생할 수 있는 가시화(Visualization), 조작화(Manipulation), 상호작용(Interaction) 등의 기술을 제공해서 사용자들이 흥미를 갖는 가상적 사이버 공룡 시스템을 제안한다. 사이버 공룡 시스템 구성은 "공룡 퍼즐 맞추기", "공룡애니메이션", "공룡 이름 맞추기", "공룡 그림 맞추기", "공룡 그리기", "공룡 그려보자",로 구성되어 있으며, 보조 버튼으로 "공룡 캐릭터", "공룡 아이콘", "공룡 원시자료"로 되어 있다. 본 시스템은 Java와 JavaScript를 이용해서 구현했으며, 사용자가 직접 공룡 자료를 제어하면서 컴퓨터와 인간 사이에서 발생할 수 있는 시각화 등을 디지털 애니메이션 기법을 이용해서 해결하고 데이테 베이스화 했다.

This paper describes the design and implementation of a CAD object management system for the design library in VHDL design environment. For the efficient manipulation of design objects, the library is managed independently of the underlaid CAD system. Management and revision of design objects can be performed by a batch script of server commands or through the user interaction in the X/MOTIF graphic environment. Through the library server, design management tasks can be efficiently performed, such as configuration of design objects, version control, and management of attributes and methods for versions. Experimental results show that the proposed system is a viable tool for the management of design data in VHDL design environment.

멀티미디어 프리젠테이션에서 미디어의 함축된 의미를 효과적으로 전달하기 위해서는 미디어 데이터간에 존재하는 시간 및 공간적인 정보를 효과적으로 표현하고 처리할 수 있는 기법이 필요하다. 특히 이들 시간 및 공간 정보는 상호간 긴밀히 연결되어 있기 때문에 종합적인 표현 방법이 요구된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 시공간의 동기화 정보를 종합적으로 표현하는 프리젠테이션 동기화 트리(PST)를 제안하고 있으며, 이 프리젠테이션 동기화 트리를 이용하여 효과적으로 프리젠테이션을 하는 수행 모델을 제안하고 있다. 특히, 본 모델에서는 사용자가 프리젠테이션을 위한 시나리오를 작성하기 위하여 특정한 사용자 인터페이스나 스크립트 언어를 익힐 필요 없이 Allen의 시간 모델에 기초하여 시간 관계를 간단하게 작성하기만 하면 되며, 실제 프리젠테이션을 위한 나머지 작업들로써 시간 관계의 일관성 검증 단계, PST 수행 단계 등을 거쳐 k동적으로 프리젠테이션 되도록 하였다.
