The article deals with the formation of managerial competence of the future head of preschool education institution by means of information and communication technology as a prerequisite for his ability to act competently and objectively evaluate actions and understand the interaction of forms and content of preschool education. The article aimed to study the effectiveness of information and communication technologies in the formation of managerial competence of the future head of preschool education institution. To achieve the objectives, the methods of comparative and systematic analysis were used to compare different views on the problem under study, namely, the formation of managerial competence of the future head of preschool education institution by means of information and communication technologies. The authors of the article determined that the use of information and communication technologies in the preparation of future heads of preschool educational institutions is of great importance and is an indicator in the structure of managerial competence. The priority directions of the use of various software products for the study of the modern Ukrainian language, methods of teaching the Ukrainian language contribute to the intensification of learning material. It is noted that the current state of development of information technologies and their widespread use in education satisfies the requirements of the objectivity of the assessment obtained the quality of the control process of forming the managerial competence of the future leader in the context of the general problems of pre-school education. It is noted that the means of information and communication technologies play a leading role in creating new educational policies and projects, as they motivate the way of access to knowledge.
Improving farming activity competence of farm households has recently been considered one of the most important factors for increasing farm income. However, few studies examine the relationship between farm income and farming activity competence of farm households directly due to the lack of an available dataset. In this study, we examine the relationship between farm household technical managerial competence and farm household income based on the nearly 30,000 farm households consulting data gathered by the Rural Development Administration, RDA. The major findings of this study are as follows: firstly, statistically significant differences in agricultural and farm household income exist between farm households categorized by farm activity competence levels in terms of technique and management. Secondly, a technically and managerially competent farm household group (high-rank farm household) has 2.2 times higher agricultural income and 1.9 times higher farm household income than the technically and managerially incompetent farm household group (low-rank farm household). Thirdly, farm household technical-managerial competence is one of the major factors that affect agricultural and farm household income. Regarding technical competence, agricultural income and farm household income increased by approximately 1,390,000 won and 1,530,000 won, respectively, as technical points increased by one point. However, with respect to managerial competence, agricultural income and farm household income increased by approximately 1,320,000 won and 2,070,000 won, respectively, as managerial points increased by one point.
Purpose: This study proposes a model for future research agendas on knowledge management activities as a source of increasing sustainable competitive advantage. Based on the literature, the role of knowledge management in sustainable competitive advantage does not necessarily have a significant effect but involves other variables. For this reason, future research proposals on the role of knowledge management on sustainable competitive advantage and other relevant variables need to be carried out. Research design, data, and methodology: This research uses a literature study. The model development stage is (1) relevant research studies, (2) identification of relevant theories and related variables, (3) developing and making a hypothesis (4) proposed model. Results: From the literature study, it was found that knowledge management plays a role in increasing managerial competence, market orientation, and innovation. Furthermore, managerial competence, market orientation, and innovation significantly affect sustainable competitive advantage. However, other studies have found a different relationship. Conclusions: This study proposes a research model on the role of knowledge management, managerial competence, market orientation, and innovation to improve sustainable competitive advantage. The study results can be used for further research based on the proposed model and as a reference for company owners and management to increase competitive advantage.

The article analyzes the main theoretical approaches to the formation of managerial competencies and establishes the degree of development of the problem. The content of the concept of "managerial competence" has been clarified, to determine the structure of managerial competencies of a future specialist in the education system and indicators of the formation of managerial competencies. The organizational and pedagogical conditions necessary for the effective process of forming the managerial competencies of future specialists are revealed. The following research methods were used in the work: theoretical (analysis of regulatory documents and scientific literature on the problem under study, comparison, generalization, modeling), empirical (diagnostics of the level of formation of managerial competencies of students of the system, questioning, observation, peer review, comparative qualitative and quantitative analysis of diagnostic results the level of formation of managerial competencies).

As the awareness of the importance of Start-up increases, the number of entrepreneurs who decide to start their career is gradually increasing. However, the rate of start-up failure is still high and the qualitative level is very low due to lack of start-up performance. In this study, we analyzed the effect of entrepreneurship capability and start-up support system on start-up performance. To that end, 361 valid data were collected from businesses that were established less than seven years ago in Jeollabuk-do on August 1, 2018 and used for study verification through SPSS 21 and AMOS 21. First, the entrepreneurial competence (entrepreneurial competence, managerial competency) has a positive effect on the start-up support system and the technical competency has no significant effect. Second, entrepreneurial competence (entrepreneurial competence, managerial competency, technical competency) has a significant effect on entrepreneurial performance. However, entrepreneurial competence has a meaningful effect on the start-up performance of entrepreneurs with a negative (-) effect. Third, it was found that the start - up support system had a positive effect on the start - up performance. Finally, the start - up support system proved to have mediating effect between entrepreneurial competence and start - up performance. The implications of this study are as follows. In order to increase the start-up performance of the start-up companies, it is proved that increasing the capacity of the start-ups is an important factor. In addition, empirical studies have proved that the use of start-up support system is an important factor that directly or indirectly has a significant effect on start-up performance, We have made meaningful implications that actively supporting and utilizing entrepreneurship is necessary to enhance start-up performance.

Although it is a limited and exploratory study, it is focused on figuring out correlations between characteristics of female CEOs who founded a company and their managerial achievements. Toward this end, the study is focused on generating such determinants as background characteristics, behavioral features and competence traits that characterize female CEOs based on previous studies and existing literature while suggesting study models and assumptions on correlations between these factors and managerial achievements and conducting empirical analyses. Results of the empirical analyses are as follows. First, regression analyses that verified relationships between background characteristics of female corporate founders and managerial achievements have found that major subjects had a significant effect, but that their experiences in corporate foundation and careers did not. Second, regression analyses that verified behavioral characteristics of female corporate CEOs and their managerial achievements have found that credibility and the motive for corporation foundation had a significant impact, but that efforts to counter risks factors did not. Third, regression analyses that verified relationships between competence features of female corporate CEOs and managerial achievements have found that managerial control capability had a significant impact, but that entrepreneurial capability and technical capability.

This study empirically analyzes how the career orientation factors of startup entrepreneurs affect entrepreneurial satisfaction as well as business sustainability. We propose directions for startup sustainability and development. Based on previous research, we defined the career orientation of entrepreneurs through the five orientation factors of security, autonomy, technical competence, managerial competence, and entrepreneurial creativity. We constructed a research model to determine whether these factors have a causal relationship with entrepreneurial satisfaction or business sustainability through the medium of organizational entrepreneurship. We surveyed startups in Korea using a questionnaire and collected and analyzed a total of 282 points of survey data. The analysis results demonstrated that the entrepreneurial creativity and managerial competence of the members of a startup can play an important role within entrepreneurial satisfaction and business sustainability. Both autonomy and technical competence exhibited no effect on entrepreneurial satisfaction and business sustainability through the medium of entrepreneurship, while security showed a negative effect. In order to improve entrepreneurial satisfaction and achieve business sustainability, we confirmed that it was more important for startups to consider the creativity and business management competences of entrepreneurs rather than pursue business security or have a technology-oriented attitude.
This study analyzes the management performance of environmentally-friendly rice farms using GCM method based on the multifaceted approach. This approach compares the management performance of GCM farms before and after the introduction of GCM, as well as the performance of GCM farms with the performance of conventional farms. It also compares the technical and managerial competence level of surveyed GCM farms with that of conventional farms based on the standard diagnosis table developed by Rural Development Adminstration. Results showed that average income has increased after the introduction of the GCM method and the average income of GCM farms was higher than that of conventional farms, while the level of rice production in farms using GCM method was lower than that of conventional farms. In addition, the technical and managerial competence score of surveyed farms using GCM method was higher than that of conventional farms. These results implies that the higher management performance of GCM farms compared to the conventional farms is attributed to not only the GCM method but also the competence level of farms using GCM method.

Purpose: This study aimed to investigate clinical nurses' perception on nursing managerial competencies. Methods: This was a descriptive study. The data were collected from 198 nurse managers who had worked in six general hospitals using a self-reporting questionnaire. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Importance-Performance Analysis. Results: Only 32% of the participants had experienced nursing managerial competency training. The mean score for perceived performance of nursing managerial competency was lower than that for perceived importance. There were significant differences in perceived importance, performance, and importance-performance gaps among head, charge, and staff nurses. Importance-performance analysis showed that three of the 30 nursing managerial competencies require further development: staffing, human resources development and education, and nursing standard development competency. There were significant differences in importance-performance gaps according to age, career years in current hospital, work shift, position, nursing delivery system, and nursing managerial competency-education experience. Conclusion: A training program for developing and improving nursing managerial competencies which is focused on the gaps in importance and performance level is needed for clinical nurses. In addition, it should be considered to improve nursing work conditions such as nursing delivery system and formal appointment in order to increase the performance of nursing managerial competencies.
Purpose: The present study identified the determinants in the development of intrapreneurial intention in small and medium-sized local hospitals. A careful literature review led to the development of a conceptual model which identified two types of employee competence-individual competence and managerial competence-to influence intrapreneurial orientation positively. It was hypothesized that intrapreneurial orientation predicts intrapreneurial intention and is mediated by intrapreneurial commitment. Methodology/Approach: The target population was chosen from two medical institutions of 'D' Hospital and 'E' Geriatric Hospital in Changwon City, South Korea. Samples were collected from 299 respondents who completed a structured questionnaire. Findings: The results from a structural equation modeling statistical analysis indicated that (1) individual competence and managerial competence positively and significantly predict intrapreneurial orientation, (2) intrapreneurial orientation positively and significantly influences intrapreneurial intention, (3) intrapreneurial commitment partially mediates the relation of intrapreneurial orientation to intrapreneurial intention, and (4) the mediation effect of intrapreneurial commitment was significant in the medical-personnel group, but not in the non-medical group. Practical Implications: Overall findings from the present work provide vital insights into understanding the preconditions for developing employee intrapreneurship in small and medium-sized local hospitals.
