기업의 성과 제고를 위한 지식재산활동의 경영전략 연구 (Research on Management Strategies for Intellectual Property Activities to Improve Corporate Performance)

  • 본 연구 목적은 기업의 지식재산활동을 통한 경영성과를 제고할 수 있는 합리적인 경영전략을 제공하는 것이다. 이러한 연구를 통하여 변화하는 글로벌 환경에서 경쟁력을 강화할 수 있는 대응 방안을 모색하고자 한다. 2023년 9월 1일부터 10월 30일까지 200개 기업을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 통계분석은 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인 분석, 신뢰도 분석, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석, 차이분석을 실시하였다. 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지식재산활동에서 경영성과에 미치는 영향은 창출활동과 활용활동으로 나타났다. 둘째, 경영전략에서 경영성과에 미치는 영향은 차별화 전략, 원가우위 전략, 집중화 전략으로 나타났다. 셋째, 원가우위 전략은 지식재산활동의 창출활동과 경영성과의 관계에서 부분매개효과가 확인되었다. 넷째, 차별화 전략은 지식재산활동의 창출활동과 경영성과의 관계에서 부분매개효과가 확인되었다. 또한 차별화 전략은 지식재산활동의 활용활동과 성과의 영향관계에서 완전매개효과가 확인되었다. 다섯째, 집중화 전략은 지식재산활동의 활용활동과 경영성과의 관계에서 부분매개효과가 확인되었다. 여섯째, 벤처인증 여부에 따른 창출활동, 보호활동, 활용활동, 원가우위 전략, 차별화 전략, 재무성과, 비재무성과는 차이가 나타났다. 기술패권 시대에 지식재산의 중요성은 높아지고 있기 때문에 사물인터넷 기업의 미래 경쟁력 확보를 위해서는 기업의 벤처 인증과 지식재산을 활용한 전략으로 경영성과를 상승시켜야 할 것이다. 이러한 연구를 기반으로 사물인터넷 기업이 지식재산활동을 고려한 효율적인 전략 추진으로 성과가 극대화되길 기대한다.

프랜차이즈 본사의 외부환경이 경영성과에 미치는 영향 -앙트러프러너십, 시장지향성, 및 조직구조의 매개변수를 중심으로- (Effects of External Environment of Franchisor on Corporate Performance -Focused on Entrepreneurship, Market Orientation and Organizational Structure-)

  • 선행연구들은 외식 프랜차이즈 환경에서 프랜차이저의 앙트러프러너 활동에 관한 프랜차이지의 지각을 거의 취급하고 있지 않고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 프랜차이지의 관점에서 프랜차이저의 외부환경, 앙트러프러너 전략, 기계-유기 조직, 및 경영성과와의 관계를 공변량구조분석을 통하여 분석하였다. 자료는 2009년 10월1일부터 2010년 2월 28일까지 전국의 외식 프랜차이지를 605명을 대상으로 설문조사를 수집하였다. 분석 결과에 의하면 외부환경은 앙트러프러너 전략에 정(+)의 영향을 주고, 앙트러프러너 전략은 다시 시장 지향성과 경영성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 동시에 시장지향성은 유기적 조직을 채택하도록 만들었으며, 경영성과를 제고하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 외부환경은 유기적 조직을 채택하도록 유도하였으며, 경영성과를 악화시킨 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 시사점은 첫째, 프랜차이저가 적극성, 혁신성, 및 위험추구성을 어느 정도 가지고 있느냐에 따라서 프랜차이즈 조직은 만족할 만한 경영성과와 현대 기업들이 필수적으로 갖추어야 될 시장지향성을 보유하게 되며, 둘째, 프랜차이저들은 시장지향성을 구성하고 있는 고객지향성, 경쟁지향성, 부서간 조화, 장기성, 수익성을 염두에 두면서 시장점유율을 유지 및 성장시켜야 하고, 셋째, 외식환경이 최근 상당히 역동적으로 그리고 비우호적으로 변화하는 관계로 이것이 조직 구조를 개편하게 만들고, 또한 경영성과에 나쁜 영향을 미치고 있는 만큼 외부환경에 대한 긴밀한 탐사가 필요하다고 하겠다.

Towards a Dynamic National System of Innovation in Malaysia : Enhancing the Management of R&D in Public Research Institutions and Universities

  • This article examines the issue of utilization of research findings from public funded research institutions (PRIs) and universities in Malaysia from the perspective of knowledge flows. Such a perspective is adapted from the literature on innovation and knowledge systems. This representation of innovation in terms of knowledge flows helps us to focus on the managerial dimensions involved in the organization of activities such as research and development (R&D). The paper reveals that there is a dismal rate of adoption of research findings generated from PRIs and universities in Malaysia. It is argued that this poor performance is a consequence of weak research management practices. A framework on the key elements of sound research management is described. The article concludes with a discussion on managerial and policy issues arising from these deficiencies and some suggestions for addressing them.

경영계층별 정보윤리의식에 관한 실증적 연구 (An Empirical Study of Information Ethics by Management Levels)

  • It is assumed that employees' ethical judgements and attitudes in handling personal and organizational information differ, depending upon their hierarchical ranks in organizations and types of information. Therefore we investigated how differently employees at different ranks judge hypothetical behaviors(or situations); their manner of handling various types of information in their daily activities in business organizations. Sixteen hypotheses based on combinations of 3 ethical areas and 5 information types were developed and tested. We found that three management ranks have shown significantly different ethical attitude about i)the accessibility to strategic planning and managerial information and ii)the property of managerial, operational and informal information. This research can help organizations to design better education programs and ethical codes to guide employees who process sensitive information.

  • The article is devoted to current problems of the concept leadership. The essence of the concept of "leadership" is considered and leadership theories. The authors of the article conducted a multifaceted analysis of leadership theories, analyzed the factors of their formation and identified their relationship. Also, the reasons for the difference and connection between leadership and leadership. Styles were presented leadership and their role in building effective leadership. To form the basis of effective leadership was compared to the main criteria inherent in this theories. The following research methods were used in the work: theoretical (analysis of regulatory documents and scientific literature on the problem under study, comparison, generalization, modeling), empirical (diagnostics of the level of formation of managerial competencies of students of the system, questioning, observation, peer review, comparative qualitative and quantitative analysis of diagnostic results the level of formation of managerial competencies).

Relationship Between Innovation Activities and Business Performance: A Case Study in Indonesia

  • The study aims to investigate the relationship between innovation activities and business process performance in higher education institution (hereinafter referred to as "HEI") context. The data was collected using a survey and later analyzed through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLSSEM) and SmartPLS software. A total of 50 questionnaires were submitted from respondents representing vocational study program management located in Makassar, Indonesia. The findings show that two hypotheses discussed in this study fit the empirical data. Specifically, the results show that there is a positive relationship between innovation activities and business process performance, involving two types of innovation activities, which are exploration activities and exploitation activities, within HEIs. Explorative activity is firmly related to exploitative activity, which furthermore links to business process performance within the HEIs observed. The results confirm that exploration activity can stimulate and lead the HEIs management to generate exploitation activity. For instance, capabilities to absorb knowledge from the external institution may lead this institution to generate advanced academic processes, as well as more efficient and effective managerial processes. The study also signifies ambidexterity capacity, suggesting that it may lead HEIs management to formulate proper strategies in achieving better performance and gaining competitive advantage.

  • This study examines the changing patterns of technological cooperation activities along technological development stages. Based on the longitudinal sample of 58 small and medium-sized companies in telecommunication equipment and device sectors, proposed hypotheses are tested using paired comparison t-test, ANOVA and multiple regression analysis. Major findings of this study are as follows. Along technological development stages, (1) patterns of technological cooperation activities differ in terms of the extent and diversity of use, partners, method, and motivation and (2) the impact of specific forms of technological cooperation activities on the firm's technological innovation varies. In addition, some managerial and policy implications are presented and future research directions are suggested.

  • Recent market environment shows a new relationship between customer and company. You can easily observe customers take initiatives to get involved in the marketing activities such as product development, pricing and distribution etc. Despite the fact there are a lot of marketing activities initiated by customers in the online travel market, customer participation has been given little attention in the academic literature. Our research is grounded in the well-known commitment-trust theory of relationship marketing, originally proposed by Morgan and Hunt(1994). According to the theory, trust is central to successful relationship marketing. This study explores the effect of trust on customer participation in the online travel market. Consequently, this study suggests some managerial implications for marketing strategies in response to customer initiative in the marketing activities on the online travel market.

의류 기업의 글로벌 소싱 모형 (A Global Sourcing Model for Apparel Companies)

  • Although Korean apparel companies have transformed dramatically from contractors to sourcing companies thanks to the rapid growth of local market, relatively little work has been done identifying the determinants and the patterns of global sourcing activities of Korean companies. The purpose of this study was to outline a conceptual model that may be used to organize and guide global sourcing activities of Korean apparel manufacturers and retailers. The conceptual model identified four important factors, cost factor, strategic non-cost factor, firm's internal factor, and global factor, which affect global sourcing strategies and help predict how companies conduct various sourcing activities. The model also identified two sourcing patterns, outsourcing and intra-firm sourcing. In developing the model, literature review on how manufacturers and retailers in diverse areas including global apparel sourcing was conducted. Managerial implications and directions far future study were offered as well.
