  • As the Internet usage with web browser is more increasing, the web-based malware which is distributed in websites is going to more serious problem than ever. The central type malicious website detection method based on crawling has the problem that the cost of detection is increasing geometrically if the crawling level is lowered more. In this paper, we proposed a security tool based on web browser which can detect the malicious web pages dynamically and support user's safe web browsing by stopping navigation to a certain malicious URL injected to those web pages. By applying these tools with many distributed web browser users, all those users get to participate in malicious website detection and feedback. As a result, we can detect the lower link level of websites distributed and dynamically.

  • Recently, distribution of malicious codes using the Internet has been one of the most serious cyber threats. Technology of malicious code distribution with detection bypass techniques has been also developing and the research has focused on how to detect and analyze them. However, obfuscated malicious JavaScript is almost impossible to detect, because the existing malicious code distributed web page detection system is based on signature and another limitation is that it requires constant updates of the detection patterns. We propose to overcome these limitations by means of an intelligent malicious code distributed web page detection system using a real browser that can analyze and detect intelligent malicious code distributed web sites effectively.

  • There was a large scale of DDoS(Distributed Denial of Service) attacks mostly targeted at Korean government web sites and cooperations's on March 4, 2010(3.4 DDoS attack) after 7.7 DDoS on July 7, 2009. In these days, anyone can create zombie PCs to attack someone's website with malware development toolkits and farther more improve their knowledge of hacking skills as well as toolkits because it has become easier to obtain these toolkits on line, For that trend, it has been difficult for computer security specialists to counteract DDoS attacks. In this paper, we will introduce an essential control list to prevent malware infection with live forensics techniques after analysis of monitoring network systems and PCs. Hopefully our suggestion of how to coordinate a security monitoring system in this paper will give a good guideline for cooperations who try to build their new systems or to secure their existing systems.
