연두순부(Ischnochiton comptus)와 가는 줄연두군부(I. hakodadensis)두 종의 정소를 재료로하여 핵형 분석을 실시하였다. 두 종의 염색체는 모두 중부염색체로 구성되어 있고, 염색체 수는 n=12이며, 성염색체는 관찰되지 않았다. 이들 염색체는 이들의 크기로는 별도의 염색체군으로 나누어지지 않았다.

1996년 8월 춘천 의암호에서 채집한 긴애기물달팽이(Fossaria truncatula)를 재료로 공기건조법을 이용하여 통상적인 방법으로 염색체를 관찰하고 핵형을 분석하였다. 그 결과 긴애기물달팽이의 염색체 수는 2n=31, 32이었으며 15쌍의 배수체와 1개의 성염색체를 가지고 있었다. 핵형은 3쌍의 metacentric과 13쌍의 submetacentric 염색체로 구성되어 있었다.

In archaeology, oxygen isotope analysis using marine shells has been used to reconstruct past environment and determine the season of shellfish-gathering activities in the past. Modern oysters(Crassostrea gigas) from Solsum ao the mouth of Chonsu Bay were anayzed to examine the potential of the species for determining seasonality by oxygin isotope analysis. As a result, it appears that the species can be used for this purpose.

우리나라 동해안에서 주요 양식대상종으로 각광을 받고 있는 가리비의 산란유발은 종묘생산시 생산성을 높이는 가장 중요한 요소라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 자극방법에 따른 가리비의 산란유발 효과와 유생사육에 관하여 조사한 결과, 가리비의 생식소 지수는 4월에 암수 각각 32.4와 33.2로 최고치를 보였고, 정자현탁액 첨가구에서 개체당 백만개 이상과 80%이상으로 가장 좋았다.

The specimens of Turbo (Callopoma) excellens were collected from Jejudo Island by scuba diving, and diagnostic characters were analysed. This is the first occurrence report the Turbo (Callopoma) excellens Sowerby III, 1914 from Korea.

Three species of Ellobiid molluscs collected from Korea were identified as Auriculastra duplicata (Pfeffer, 1854), Laemodonta siamensis (Morelete, 1875) and Melampus (Pira) flavus (Gmelin, 1791). This is the first record from the Korea, providing a description of the species with illustration for the shell morphology. Including the new recorded in this study, the family Ellobiidae contained six genera and 13 species in the Korea.

The mitotic and meiotic chromosomes of Succineidae snail one species, Oxyloma hirasei(Pilsbry), were investigated by mians of air-drying mithod. The diploid chromosome numbers were n=18, 2n=36. Chromosome complements of this species consist of seven pairs of metacentrics and 11 pairs of submetacentric chromosomes. Spermatogonial metaphase chromosomes range in length from 4.80${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ for the largest pair to 1.44${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ for the smallest pair.

Panomya nipponica는 모식산지로 알려진 일본 북동부에서만 발견되는 것으로 알겨져 있으며, 일부학자들은 P. norvegica와 동일종으로 간주하기도 하나 패각의 형태에서는 뚜렷이 차이가 난다. 본 종은 드물게 발견되기 때문에 분류학적 위치가 아직 불분명하며, 일본에서 조차 근래에는 이 종에 대한 인용이나 보고가 거의 없어 동해(일본 북서해0에서 채집되느Panomya nipponica에 대한 종 기재를 하였다.

1990년 3월부터 1991년 2월까지 전라북도 군산 연안에 서식하는 동죽을 채집하여, 순간성장율, 순간사망율, 평균 생체량, 연간 생물생산력에 대하여 조사하였다. 치패는 각장 약 0.75 mm가 7월에 처음 채집되었으며, 0-5세의 6개 cohort로 구분되었다. 순간성장률은 여름철에 ？고 겨울철에 낮았지만, 순간사망률은 여름철에 높았다. 조사지역에서 동쪽 개체군의 연간평균 생체량은 3.865 g/$m^2$이었으며, 연간생산량은 3.933 g/$m^2$이었고, 연간 회전율은 1.020, 회전시간은 0.986년으로 추정되었다.

We report three new records Korean marine gastropods. The new record species are Hipponix acuta, Lyncina (Ponda) carneola, and Velutina (Velutella) plicatilis cryptospira. As a result, the family Hipponicidae in Korea turned out to be 5 species of 4 genera, Cypraeidae are 14 species of 8 genera, and Velutinidae are 7 species of 3 genera, respectively.
