The purpose of this study was to identify evaluation factors and analyze the relative importance among factors to select a suitable transportation method for transferring the increasing amount of transshipment at multiple terminals at the Busan new port. To accomplish this, the evaluation factors were selected through a literature survey and brainstorming of a group of experts associated with the port operation, and were classified into five major factors and 15 middle factors. The evaluation factors classified hierarchically were surveyed relative to workers in organizations such as shipping companies, port corporations, container terminals, and related ministries. The importance of each factor was calculated using the hierarchical analysis process (AHP). As a result of the importance analysis, priority was assigned in order of safety, productivity, investment efficiency, operational efficiency, and policy conformity. Through this, it was necessary to select a suitable transportation method for the transshipment cargo in terminals while focusing on the cargo and terminal security and preventing accidents. Objective:This study aims to evaluate the features of heart rate variability (HRV) and respiratory signals as indices for a driver's drowsiness and waking status in order to develop the classification model for a driver's drowsiness and waking status using those features. Background: Driver's drowsiness is one of the major causal factors for traffic accidents. This study hypothesized that the application of combined bio-signals to monitor the alertness level of drivers would improve the effectiveness of the classification techniques of driver's drowsiness. Method: The features of three heart rate variability (HRV) measurements including low frequency (LF), high frequency (HF), and LF/HF ratio and two respiratory measurements including peak and rate were acquired by the monotonous car driving simulation experiments using the photoplethysmogram (PPG) and respiration sensors. The experiments were repeated a total of 50 times on five healthy male participants in their 20s to 50s. The classification model was developed by selecting the optimal measurements, applying a binary logistic regression method and performing 3-fold cross validation. Results: The power of LF, HF, and LF/HF ratio, and the respiration peak of drowsiness status were reduced by 38%, 22%, 31%, and 7%, compared to those of waking status, while respiration rate was increased by 3%. The classification sensitivity of the model using both HRV and respiratory features (91.4%) was improved, compared to that of the model using only HRV feature (89.8%) and that using only respiratory feature (83.6%). Conclusion: This study suggests that the classification of driver's drowsiness and waking status may be improved by utilizing a combination of HRV and respiratory features. Application: The results of this study can be applied to the development of driver's drowsiness prevention systems.

As radiation therapy is one of three major cancer treatment methods, many cancer patients get radiation therapy. To exposure as much radiation to cancer while normal tissues near tumor get little radiation, medical physicists make a radiotherapy plan treatment and perform quality assurance before patient treatment. Despite these efforts, unintended medical accidents can occur by some errors. In order to solve the problem, patient internal dose reconstruction methods by measuring transit dose are suggested. As feasibility study for development of patient dose verification system, inverse square law, percentage depth dose and scatter factor are used to calculate dose in the water-equivalent homogeneous phantom. As a calibration results of ionization chamber and glass dosimeter to transit radiation, signals of glass dosimeter are 0.824 times at 6 MV and 0.736 times at 10 MV compared to dose measured by ionization chamber. Average scatter factor is 1.4 and Mayneord F factor was used to apply percentage depth dose data. When we verified the algorithm using the water-equivalent homogeneous phantom, maximum error was 1.65%.
Driving involves a series of complicated precesses requiring various human capacities, such as perception, will decision, and athletic functions. Consequently, it induces a high degree of continuous concentration of mind and tension from external stimulation, bringing fatigue to the driver, and driver fatigue is counted as one of the major causes of traffic accidents. Nevertheless, because of the complicated urban lives, traffic congestion, job characteristics, and so on, the drivers have to spend a longer time inside a vehicle, and the fatigue and stress thereof is almost unavoidable. We haute, therefore, turned our attention to the reduction in the fatigue during driving by supplying oxygen, and investigated in this research the drivers subjective fatigue evaluations and reaction time when oxygen is supplied in different rates. As a result, we have found that the subjective fatigue feeling is highest at low-rate O/Sub 2/ supply (18%), and fatigue feeling was comparatively reduced at high-rate O/Sub 2/ (30%). The sleepiness also showed the tendency to be reduced at high-rate O/Sub 2/ supply in the case of driving for 1 hour or more. The time for reaction to braking after the sign for urgent stop is given tends to show more substantial reduction at high-rate O/Sub 2/ supply than at low-rate O/Sub 2/ supply after 2 hours driving. It can, therefore, be deduced from the aforesaid results that the subjective responses and behavioral reactions tend to show reduced fatigue at the condition of high-rate O/Sub 2/ supply. Hence, it was suggested that drivers felt subjective fatigue while driving at low-rate O/Sub 2/ and the subjective fatigue and reaction time were reduced at high-rate O/Sub 2/. These findings suggest that the oxygen supply will reduce driver fatigue.
The purpose of this study is to help the education of fire safety of technical high schools through the investigation of skills club students's recognition on fire safety in Seoul city. To achieve the purpose, 56 skills students who going to skills competition were surveyed for 3days from Jun. 19 to 21, 2006. The Results of this study are as follows ; First, a large numbers of students in technical high school placed low value on the importance of safety in life, and fire safety was very important, however, lower than structural safety. Second, the education of fire safety was arranged by school authorities, carried out only by the half of these school. It was necessary that the specific education of fire safety for major and skills competition was hosted by a department. Third, it was necessary that the system all accidents were certainly reported by the related student and the method prevented a recurrence. 4th, the field of fire safety in Industrial Introduction subject of national curriculum was satisfied by students. And if this subject revised, students wanted to extend the contents of fire safety and to orient to practical technique.
A study on cooperative medical treatment system between oriental and western medical practitioners was conducted from March through August 1997 in order to determine a productive model of cooperation of two medical parts for treatment of patients. Questionnaires were distributed to 195 medical doctors(M.D.) and 195 doctors of oriental medicine(O.M.D.) working in clinics and hospitals in six major cities. Statistical analysis tools used for this study were frequency, t-test and multiple regression by using SPSS/P.C package. The results are summarized as follows: 1. The respondents were composed of male docotors(78%) and female doctors(22%) and 68.2% of M.D. and 97% of O.M.D. were interested in the other medical part. The doctors of both disciplines had some limitation on treatment of patients but they were reluctant to refer their patients to other doctors in different discipline. 2. M.D assumed that oriental medicine was more effective for chronic diseases, and O.M.D. thought that western medicine was more effective for acute diseases. 92.3% of O.M.D.s responded that even though they do not utilize western medical technology for diagnosis, they believed the results of diagnoses by western medical technology. 3. 60.5% of O.M. and 93.3% of O.M.D. said that cooperative medical treatment system could be necessary for patients and it would be effective for control of diseases and 69% of western medical doctors and 99% of oriental medical doctors agreed that oriental medical practice would be more effective for cerebellar vascular accidents than other diseases. 77.4% of western medical doctors and 92.3% of oriental medical doctors responded that the students of two different disciplines have to be taught on the other disciplines. 82.6% of western medical doctors and 83.3% oriental medical doctors agreed that it would be necessary to have collaborative research between scientists in two disciplines. 81.5% of M.D.s and 93.3% of O.M.D.s believed that they had prejudice and distrust on other discipline 4.90% of the doctors were not satisfied with the government medical policies on health insurance, legal matters, and health delivery system. 5. 75.4% of M.D.s and 50.2% of O.M.D.s said that two medical disciplines should be integrated, but they were skeptical on that. 75.3% of M.D.s thought that western hospitals should employ O.M.D.s Finally this study recommended that western medical students study oriental medicine and the vice versa, and M.D.s and O.M.D.s should have seminars and workshops to exchange knowledge, and experiences. It is also recommended that medical laws be revised to allow medical doctors refer the patients whom they can not handle to oriental medical doctors and the vice versa.

The emergency restoration scenarios for efficient railway accident management and restoration were developed. The emergency restoration procedures defined by the worst case of emergency restoration and the important events was proposed based on questionnaires from specialists and the result of survey. Via these studies, the railway accident in the tunnel could be the worst case among all railway accident types. Therefore, educations for a restoration team in confined area condition should be planned and performed to recover the worst case accident. In order for the emergency restoration, when a railway accident is occurred, the restoration should be performed in orders of handing collapse of facilities, burying track, and derailment of vehicle in tunnel based on the statistical analysis. The result of priorities were established by the period of restoration. The standard operation system for efficient railway accident management was developed by synthesizing the worst case for rapid emergency restoration, and important events for the standard operation procedures according to each emergency restoration type. Through this study, the restoration operation system of railway accident are recommended. This paper suggests to develop emergency restoration scenarios for the efficient railway accident management and recovery system. The study results will contribute not only for insuring punctuality, but also for minimizing delays from accidents. Therefore, emergency restoration scenarios will play a major role in the SOP for the damage limitation and the prevention of accident spread.
Purpose - The purpose of this research is reflected on the rapid development of online tourism industries. The study was to establish the strategy for Korean tourism enterprises to develop tourist commodities suitable for Chinese tourists and attract them to visit Korea by the empirical analysis of the relation between repurchase intention of tourists and its premise variables (e-service quality, perceived value and satisfaction). Research design, data, and methodology - This research carried out a questionnaire survey on Chinese tourists who visited Korea with experience of using the online travel agency web sites. A total 398 answers were recovered, 41 of them were excluded due to the dishonest answers and 357 of them were finally analyzed. The data was analyzed with IBM SPSS AMOS 22.0. Results - The research results show that in the online travel agency web site e-service quality, convenience, interactivity, information validity, credibility had a positive impacts on perceived value and satisfaction. The perceived value of online travel agency website users has positive impart on satisfaction and repurchase intention. Satisfaction of online travel agency web site users have positive impacts on repurchase intention. But safety has no impact on perceived value while positive impacts on satisfaction was affected. Conclusions - First, in the online travel agency web site e-service quality, safety has no impact on perceived value while it was shown to have positive impacts on satisfaction because the users of online travel agency web sites believe that the protection of personal information, the defense of cracker and the safeguard of payment security are the basic premises of website operation. Although safety does not have impacts on perceived value, users benefits will suffer damage when hacker intrusion and other accidents occur so that online travel agency web sites should not ignore the security concerns. Second, credibility is a major concern for online travel agency web site users. At this time, it is necessary for the web site to establish a system to display both the commodity information and the using experience published on the user's SNS, thus improving the credibility of the website information.

One of recent concerns for super-tall buildings is how to manage hoisting plans and equipment efficiently. Disasters are frequently occurred in relation to electromotive hoists and cranes which are commonly used in construction sites. For construction lifts, particularly, it is highly important to conduct regular inspections or prepare against breakdown in terms of safety. However, unfortunately the reality is that regular inspections are only flatly conducted according to operating hours only. A lift, whose life span is subject to the complicated considerations such as operating hours, loading condition, and the like of each component, is far too invalid as a means of maintenance. As a way to resolve this problem and improve its convenience and safety for users, this study intends to calculate individual inspection interval for the main components of lifts by measuring their actual operating hours with sensing technology and analyzing their historical data. The findings of study include calculation of inspection intervals for the main components of lifts and classification of components to check by the actual operating hours of lift (40, 90, 130, 400 hours), which are drawn up into tables. This will make an opportunity to suggest efficient maintenance measures by enabling prevention of safety accidents and enhancement of safety for workers. Also, it will lead to increasing productivity of works by eliminating sources of delaying the term due to the breakdown of lifts.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of team - based simulation training in nursing students on critical thinking and communication clarity. This study was conducted from October 2017 to November 2017 for 69 students (33 experimental group and 36 control group) who took a course of "Basic Nursing Theory and Practice" students in a major nursing student in P city, Gyeongbuk province. Collection and analysis. In this study, we conducted a questionnaire survey using a tool of critical accidents measurement by Yoon Jin(2004) and a communication clarity tool by Hye - jin Jo(2013). Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 23.0, Chi-square, Fisher's exact test, t-test and ANCOVA. Data analysis showed that the groups participating in the SBAR team based simulation training were significantly more effective than the control group in critical thinking (F = 11.91, p <.001) and communication clarity (F = 4.40, p = .040). Based on these results, it is shown that using SBAR team - based simulation learning for nursing students is effective in teaching 'fundamental nursing and practice' and can be recommended as teaching method for nursing students.
