조리용수로써 자화수의 기능성에 관한 연구 -건조물의 수화능력을 중심으로- (A study on Availability of Magnetic treatment water as a cooking water)

  • 자화수의 조리용수로써 기능에 대하여 연구한 결과 다음과 같은 현상을 관찰하였다. 1. 자화수의 pH의 변화는 수도수, 생수 공히 자화수가 약간 알칼리성을 띄었으며 시간이 지남에 따라 수도수에서는 pH가 유의하게 감소하고 생수에서는 증가하였다. 2. 건조식품을 불림에 있어 자화수의 경우 수도수를 사용한 경우보다 수화율이 유의적으로 높게 나타났다. 자화수에 침수한 버섯의 경우 초기부터 수분 흡수율이 약간 높았으며 90분 이후부터는 유의적으로 높아졌다. 콩은 하루밤 방치후 자화수에 침수한 시료에서 유의적으로 흡수율이 높게 나타났다. 3. 표면장력의 변화는 자화수의 표면장력이 수도수에 비해 작았고 시간의 경과에 따라서 유의하게 감소하였다. 4. 염장식품을 수침한 경우 자화수에서 특히 초기침수 5분 이내에 염장물로부터의 염분 유출량이 유의적으로 많았다.

Interaction of magnetic water, silica fume and superplasticizer on fresh and hardened properties of concrete

  • After passing through a magnetic field, the physical quality of water improves, and magnetic water (MW) is produced. There are many investigations on the effects of magnetic field on water that shows MW properties like saturation and memory effect. This study investigates the fresh and hardened properties of concrete mixed with MW, which contains silica fume (SF) and superplasticizer (SP). The test variables included the magnetic field intensity for producing MW (three kinds of water), SF content replaced cement (0 and 10 percent), water-to-cementitious materials ratio (W/CM=0.25, 0.35 and 0.45) and curing time (7, 28 and 90 days). The results of this study show that MW had a positive impact on the workability and compressive strength of concrete. By rising the intensity of the magnetic field which was used for producing MW, its positive influence on both workability and compressive strength improved. MW had greater positive impacts on samples containing SP that did not have SF. Moreover, the best compressive strength improvements of concrete achieved as W/CM ratio decreased.

자기장 영향 하에서의 수질 특성 변화에 따른 채소재배 (Vegetables Cultivation by Characteristics Changes of Water with Magnetic Field Effect)

  • 전자파 자기장 발생 장치를 개발하여 제작한 후, 이를 수경재배와 배지경의 양액 공급관에 장착하여 물에 자기장을 쬔 자화수 처리의 유무에 따른 수질 성분변화, 배추와 상추의 생장량 변화, 그리고 성분 변화를 분석하였다. 자화수 처리구는 무처리구에 비해 비타민 C 함량이 상추 2.8배, 배추 1.2배로 더 많았다. 또한 자화수 처리에 의한 생장촉진 효과는 상추의 수경과 배지경 재배에서 현저히 나타났으나 배추의 토경재배는 자화수 처리의 효과가 미미하였다. 따라서 토경재배 상추에서 자화수 처리에 의해 생장과 비타민의 함량을 높일 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

An investigation of water magnetization and its influence on some concrete specificities like fluidity and compressive strength

  • In this paper, effects of magnetic water on different properties of cement paste including fluidity, compressive strength, time of setting and etc, has been studied in concrete laboratory of Sahand University of Technology. For production of magnetic water, three devices including an AFM called device(made in UAE), a device marked AC(made in Germany) and finally a device was designed and made in Concrete Laboratory of Sahand University of Technology) have been used. The results show that, intensity and direction of magnetic field, velocity and time of water passing through magnetic device, and amount and type of Colloidal particles have direct effects on properties of magnetic water and using such a water in making cement paste, increases its fluidity and compressive strength up to 10%.

전자장을 통과한 물의 표면장력 측정에 대한 연구 (A Study on Surface Tension Measurement for the Water through Electro-Magnetic Field)

  • The purpose of this study was to measure the surface tension of hard water through electro-magnetic field for investigating the effect of electro-magnetic water treatment. The maximum reduction of surface tension was 8% comparing to the no treatment case. When the flow velocity through the permanent magnetic device (PMD) was 6.3 m/s, sample of hard water had the minimum surface tension.

  • Water-based magnetic fluids were made of the synthesized ultrafine magnetite with surfactants such as sodium oleate and loeic acid. The water-based magnetic fluid was prepared under the condition that added amounts of sodium oleate and oleic acid dissolved with NH4OH were 2.64$\times$10-2 mol, 1.5~2.0$\times$10-2 mol respectively. The water-based magnetic fluid was stable and should be dispersed well dispersion in the range of pH 9.0 to pH 11.0. As the solid content increased from 0.05 g/cc to 0.4 g/cc, the viscosity of water-based magnetic fluids increased from 2.5 cP to 152 cP and their magnetization at 5 KOe linearly increased from 3.1 emu/g to 26 emu/g. The aggregated powder after drying the water-based magnetic fluid was also successfully re-dispersed in dilute NH4OH solution and in kerosene.

  • Stable aqueous dispersion of magnetite colloid was obtained by allowing a fatty acid, such as nonanoic acid, decanoic acid and undecanoic acid, dissociated with NH4OH solution to adsorb on the monomolecular adsorption of oleate. To obtain a stable dispersion, added amounts of sodium oleate and nonanoic acid for magnetite 20g were more than 2.63$\times$10-2 mol and 0.04 mol respectively. In this colloid, good dispersions of magnetite which is sterically stabilized in aqueous system were achieved about pH 7.7. Water-based magnetic fluids using in this study were able to redisperse to water-based magnetic fluids by adding NH4OH solution to dried water-based magnetic fluid powders. Changing a magnetic fluid carrier such as kerosene was also attemped by adding kerosene to dried water-based magnetic fluid powders. In this study, we can obtain a kerosene-based magnetic fluids using drying process.

$^{13}C$ Solid State NMR Study on the Dynamics of the Poly(vinyl butylal) with Various Water Contents

  • Physical properties of PVB [Poly(vinyl butyral)] polymer are strongly correlated with water contents in the polymer. Thus dynamics of PVB containing 10~50(w/w) % of water were studied by $^{13}$ C CP/MAS/DD over the temperature range 293K -348K. From the Peak area, line width, chemical shift, and relaxation times ( $T_{1}$ $T_{1p}$) measured at 9.4 T, it was deduced that water facilitates molecular dynamics of the PVB molecules overall including conformational exchange of the racemic and meso butyaldehyde rings in the PVB. However, the influence of water was not linear to the amount of water in the PVB samples. It is suggested that water up to 30 w/w % of the sample is closely bound to the PVB polymer and water relatively free from the PVB polymer starts to appear when water is added more than 30 w/w %.%.

자화수를 사용한 주입재의 공학적 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Engineering Properties of Grout Materials Using a Magnetic Field Treated Water)

  • Water that is treated by passing through a magnetic field of certain strength is called Magnetic Field Treated Water(MFTW). Previous research indicate that use of MFTW can save 5% of cement dosage, decrease bleeding of concrete, and improve resistance to freezing. The reason why MFTW can improve characteristics of concrete can be explained by the molecular structure of water. Magnetic force can break apart water clusters into single molecules or smaller ones, therefore, the activity of water is improved. While hydration of cement particles is in progress, the MFTW can penetrate the core region of cement particles more easily. Hence, hydration takes place more efficiently which in turn improves concrete compressive strength. Test results demonstrate that the compressive strength of the sodium silicate cement grout homogel increases by approximately 20 - 50% by using the MFTW.

자화수를 사용한 주입재의 역학적 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Mechanical Properties of Grout Materials Using a Magnetic Field Treated Water)

  • 본 연구는 배합수를 일반수 대신 자화수로 사용한 시멘트 그라우트재의 역학적 특성을 파악하는 것에 그 목적이 있다. Magnetic field를 통과한 물을 MFTW라 하는데, 이는 시멘트의 Bleeding 감소와 Freezing에 대한 저항을 향상시킴으로써 시멘트 사용량을 5% 절감시킬 수 있다고 알려져 있다. MFTW는 자기력에 의해 물 분자를 좀 더 작게 만들어서 물 분자의 활성도를 증가시켜 좀 더 쉽게 시멘트 분자의 Core Region으로 침투할 수 있게 함으로써 수화를 원활하게 한다. 결과적으로, MFTW는 좀 더 효율적인 수화를 일으키게 함으로써 콘크리트의 일축압축강도를 크게 향상시켰으며, 규산나트륨-시멘트그라우트재에 MFTW를 사용한 결과 일축압축강도가 약 $20{\sim}50%$ 증가되었음을 알 수 있었다.
