  • Various walking robot platforms have been developed to carry out missions such as explorations, pass of obstacle or inspections of dangerous environments. In this work, a four legs mechanism based on Jansen mechanism is developed, which can trace a certain line. In order to maximize the tracing speed, mechanism design is performed in multiple phases using m.sketch, EdisonDesign and Arduino programs. In design process, control of power path and optimization of the locus of legs(GL/GAC) are found to be most important. A prototype model is constructed and test run to check the validity of the design optimization.

  • In this paper, the mechanism that works by using eight legs is proposed. The walker has eleven bars instead of wheel, it shows a Biologically-inspired movement method. their driving appearance is very similar with creature which walks by its legs. For example, a crab and spider so on. This mechanism has simple style that can expand its size and attach more legs beside. For the competition regulation, we had to find working parts in the science box and some other things that can be found easily in the surroundings only usual material. The mission is making a machine that is enable to pass obstacle and to walk well. This paper followed the rules by regulation.

  • Existing moving robots has several kinds of moving method; using wheel, jointed leg structure and so on. Wheel type can be operated by DC motor so it is simple and efficient. However, it is not appropriate to pass irregular terrain and obstacle. Leg structure type has an advantage in those cases. Generally, Leg structure is operated by several servo motors attached to each joint. It makes a robot heavier and more complicate due to increase of the degree of freedom. However, by using Theo Jansen Mechanism, one (or more) leg have only single-degree of freedom and can be operated by only one DC motor. So leg structure using Theo Jansen Mechanism will be good choice if robots have to be mass-produced. This paper describes the following a walking robot designed and produced based on Theo Jansen Mechanism, simulating process of Theo Jansen leg structure using Edison m.Sketch and how to solve several of discovered problem of the robot.

  • In this study, a robot is implemented in H/W based on four-bar linkage mechanism and Jansen mechanism. Our goal is to finish the given path using given terms. The various programs was used to understand the mechanism in more detail. DISON m.Sketch, EDISON Designer, Theo Jansen Mechanism Optimization Solver. Using these programs, we can design the robot in more dtails and reduce errors and trials. For the design and implementation of a robot, it is need to get joint variable, a foot point, and their relation. Thus, the proposed kinematic analysis is very important process for the design and implementation of legged robots.

  • Moving robot is divided 2 kinds; one is the robot using wheels and the other has leg structure. On plat terrain, the former is better than the latter because it has fast speed and simple method to control. But on non-plat terrain, the situation is reversed. The robot using legs has slow speed but it has advantage to adjust various environments. This robot is expected to contribute to human in many fields such as rescue and exploration and so on. So walking robot is worth enough to research. In this paper, we present the design of 4-legged walking robot based on Jansen mechanism using m-Sketch and Edison Designer.

  • Quiet often, an organization tries to grapple with inconsistent and partial information to generate relevant information to support decision making and action. As such, an organization scans the environment interprets scanned data, executes actions, and learns from feedback of actions, which boils down to computational interpretations and learning in terms of machine learning, statistics, and database. The ExOM proposed in this paper is geared to facilitate such knowledge discovery found in large databases in a most flexible manner. It supports a broad range of learning and classification styles and integrates them with traditional database functions. The learning and classification components of the ExOM are tightly integrated so that learning and classification of objects is less burdensome to ordinary users. A brief sketch of a strategy as to the expressiveness of terminological language is followed by a description of prototype implementation of the learning and classification components of the ExOM.

  • The water resources project of 320 Ha second stage reclamation, in which including an University City, out of 800 Ha Ndata Farm, Malawa, had been under studied in this research. The challenge of C value of runoff coefficient was obtained as 0.8, by introducing the attenuation factors method, proposed by second author, an IDF dimensionless method customary used in Taiwan, proposed by the third author, is translated further to solve the project design rainfall; Rational Method, thus, obtains 11.5 CMS as the 5 year recurrence storage. The final job, completed by the third author's on-site performance, includs field alignments and discussions with the trustee, Malawa President H. E. Dr. Bingu Wa Mutharika, when a special concern of anti-theft. In order to provide sufficient supply up to an amount of 44,000 M3 during April to November, the sketch package includes 6 measurements: one water barrage, one sluice gate, one intake, one sediment reservoir, one water reservoir, and 3199 Km long gravity-driving hydraulic pipe.
