  • Thin nitride thin films were synthesized by reactive radio-frequency magnetron sputtering in the ultra high vacuum (UHV) chamber. To control the characteristics of thin films, tin nitride thin films were obtained various argon and nitrogen gas mixtures, especially low nitrogen gas ratios. Tin nitride thin films were analyzed with alpha step, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and 4 point probe measurement. The result of alpha step and SEM showed that the thickness of thin nitride thin films were decreased with increasing nitrogen gas ratios. The metallic tin structure was decreased and the amorphous tin nitride structure were observed by XRD with higher nitrogen gas ratios. The oxidation state of tin and nitride were studied with high resolution Sn 3d and N 1s XP spectra.

  • The purpose of this study is to aim at presenting efficient technique of 3-D Terrain Modelling through multilateral approach methods and to compare with raw data, using low-densed randomly located point data. The subject religion of this study are selected two sites and take into consideration for degree of freedom about low-densed randomly located point data. The result of this study by precision analysis of digital cartographic map-ping using low-densed randomly located point data bave shown that . First, making digital cartographic map, the technique of making it using low-desned randomly located point data by TIN-based results to good and fast run-time in A and B sites all together. Second, the visualization analysis results of digital cartographic map using TIN and GRID-based terrain modeling techniqus similar exacts A and B sites, but the terrain modeling techniqus by TIN-based are small data size than GRID-based with the data with the data size of saving with DXF files. Third, making digital catographic map using terrain modeling techniques by Grid-based, the standard errors of low-densed randomly located point data and interpolated data using gridding method have more good results by radial basis function interpolation techniques at A and B sites all together.

  • Tin perovskite solar cells have attracted a lot of attention due to their potential to address the toxicity of lead, which is the biggest barrier to commercialization of perovskite solar cells. Unlike other lead-free perovskite, tin perovskite have a direct bandgap, which is suitable for use as light harvesting, and relatively good stability, which has led to a lot of attention. Since the first tin perovskite solar cell was reported in 2014, it has achieved an impressive power conversion efficiency of 14.81%. However, this efficiency is still low compared to that of lead perovskite solar cells, and the stability of tin perovskite solar cells is also an issue that needs to be addressed. In this review, we will discuss the basic properties of the tin atom in comparison to the lead atom, and then discuss the crystal structure, phase transition, and basic properties of tin perovskite. We will then discuss the advantages, applications, challenges, and strategies of tin perovskite, In particular, we will focus on how to prevent the oxidation of tin, which is arguably the biggest challenge for using tin perovskite solar cells. At the end, we summarize the key factors that need to be addressed for higher efficiency and stability, emphasizing what is needed to commercialize tin perovskite solar cells.

  • In this work, indium tin oxide (ITO) thin film was fabricated by indium-tin-organic sol including ITO nanoparticle. ITO nanoparticle showed ultrafine size about 5 nm and (222) preferred crystal structure. Also, ITO sol-gel thin film showed good optical transmittance over 83% and electrical resistance less than $7\;{\times}\;10^3\;{\Omega}$.

  • Tin oxide films have been grown employing the chemical vapor deposition technique under reduced pressure conditions using tetramethyltin as the precursor and oxygen as the oxidant. An activation energy derived for the deposition reaction under representative deposition conditions has a value of 89±3 kJ mol-1, suggesting a typical kinetic control. Deposition rates of tin oxide films exhibit a near first order dependence on tetramethyltin partial pressure and a zeroth order dependence on oxygen partial pressure. This study provides the first quantitative information about the growth kinetics of tin oxide films from tetramethyltin by the cold-wall low-pressure chemical vapor deposition.

  • Tin and Tinoxide nanoparticles were prepared by arc-discharge nanopowder process. The negative electrode were fabricated using Tin and Tinoxide nanopower. The microstructure and electrochemistry properties were investigated and compared between Tin and Tinoxide. The oxidation film has microstructure of core/shell type and the shell which was attached around Tin nanoparticle consisted of amorphous $SnO_2$. The shape of Tinoxide nanoparticles was formed with irregular shape in comparison with Tin particle. Initial discharge capcity of Tinoxide electrode possesed about 1000mAh/g, which is about 320mAh/g higher than Tin electrode. Irreversible capacity of Tin electrode is much higher than Tinoxide. The cycle performance of Tinoxide electrode was indicated that is batter than Tin. The Tin negative electrode lost most of capacity after 4 cycle but Tinoxide electrode still retained the capacity. The Tinoxide does show some promise as Li-ion battery anode due to their large reversible capacity at low potentials.

  • The use of tin filters as a way to reduce the medical radiation in computed tomography (CT). However, due to the changed X-ray spectrum with the use of tin filters, disease diagnosis could be affected because it appears as images of different impressions from previous images. Therefore, this study evaluates the changes in images when using tin filter and high pitch in chest low-dose CT. In this study, images were acquired in groups of three for comparison. Group 1 did not apply to tin filter, and used the existing pitch 0.8. Group 2 used a tin filter, pitch 0.8, Group 3 used a tin filter, and pitch 2.5. To compare the image quality, the natural image quality evaluator (NIQE) and the blind/referenceless image quality evaluator (BRISQUE) were used among the blind quality evaluation factors depended on a no-reference basis. As a result, the NIQE values were low in the order of Group 1, Group 3, and Group 2. BRISQUE values were low in the order of Group 3, Group 2 and Group 1. This study confirms the superiority of images of tin filter and high pitch techniques in chest low-dose CT, which is considered to be a fundamental study for acquiring accurate images of patients with difficult breathing control.

  • To investigate the relationship between heat treatment in zirconium alloy tubing process and metallurgical characteristics of Zr-1Nb-0.69Sn-0.11Fe alloy tubes, mechanical and oxidation behaviors of tubes heat treated at different temperatures after the final pilgering were investigated. The stress strain curves exhibited the saturation behaviors in all heat treatment conditions ($460{\sim}600^{\circ}C$) in this study with the onset strain of saturation increased with increase of post-pilgering annealing temperature. The strength fell off rapidly with increasing annealing temperature. The ultimate strength of the low tin Zr-1Nb-0.69Sn-0.11Fe alloy with slightly higher iron and oxygen contents in this study was found to be higher than Zr-1Nb-1Sn-0.1Fe alloy. The oxidation experiments in steam condition revealed that the corrosion resistance of low tin Zr-1Nb-0.69Sn-0.11Fe alloy was better than the Zr-1Nb-1Sn-0.1Fe alloy with a higher Sn content. The weight gain of low tin Zr-1Nb-0.69Sn-0.11Fe alloy tubes gradually increased with the increasing annealing temperature possibly due to the decreased Nb content in the matrix because of the formation of ${\beta}-Nb$ particles.
