신경망을 이용한 이동 로봇의 실시간 고속 정밀제어 (High Speed Precision Control of Mobile Robot using Neural Network in Real Time)

  • In this paper we propose a fast and precise control algorithm for a mobile robot, which aims at the self-tuning control applying two multi-layered neural networks to the structure of computed torque method. Through this algorithm, the nonlinear terms of external disturbance caused by variable task environments and dynamic model errors are estimated and compensated in real time by a long term neural network which has long learning period to extract the non-linearity globally. A short term neural network which has short teaming period is also used for determining optimal gains of PID compensator in order to come over the high frequency disturbance which is not known a priori, as well as to maintain the stability. To justify the global effectiveness of this algorithm where each of the long term and short term neural networks has its own functions, simulations are peformed. This algorithm can also be utilized to come over the serious shortcoming of neural networks, i.e., inefficiency in real time.

진동대 실험을 이용한 암반비탈면의 가속도 특성 (Acceleration Behavior of Rock Slope by Shaking Table Test)

  • This study investigated the acceleration characteristics of rock slopes when earthquakes, which have not been studied much in Korea, occur. The rock slope was modeled with a similar raw of 1/20 in consideration of the height(10m), roughness, strength, and the joint dips(20°). After the completion of the model, a shaking table tests was conducted according to the magnitude of the acceleration and the type of seismic wave. The maximum acceleration was greater in the short-period seismic wave than in the long-period seismic wave, and the maximum acceleration was larger in the small acceleration. The rock slope was close to a rigid block and a structure more vulnerable to the long period wave than to the short period wave. In the event of an earthquake smaller than the domestic earthquake-resistant maximum design acceleration(0.154g), safety management of the rock slope was required.

  • Rapidly solidified ribbon-consolidation processing was applied for preparation of high strength bulk Mg-Zn-Gd alloys. Mg alloys have been used in automotive and aerospace industries. Rapid solidification (RS) process is suitable for the development of high strength Mg alloys, because the process realizes grain-refinement, increase in homogeneity, and so on. Recently, several nanocrystalline Mg-Zn-Y alloys with high specific tensile strength and large elongation have been developed by rapidly solidified powder metallurgy (RS P/M) process. Mg-Zn-Y RS P/M alloys are characterized by long period ordered (LPO) structure and sub-micron fine grains. The both additions of rare earth elements and zinc remarkably improved the mechanical properties of RS Mg alloys. Mg-Zn-Gd alloy also forms LPO structure in -Mg matrix coherently, therefore, it is expected that the RS Mg-Zn-Gd alloys have excellent mechanical properties. In this study, we have developed high strength RS Mg-Zn-Gd alloys with LPO structure and nanometer-scale precipitates by RS ribbon-consolidation processing. $Mg_{97}Zn_1Gd_2$ and $Mg_{95.5}Zn_{1.5}Gd_3$ and $Mg_{94}Zn_2Gd_4$ bulk alloys exhibited high tensile yield strength (470 MPa and 525 MPa and 566 MPa) and large elongation (5.5% and 2.8% and 2.4%).

  • Recently the study related to life cycle cost analysis of railway structure consisted of a complex is proceeded covering several range, which is considering the methodology of efficiency and rationalization for maintenance and analysing long-time behavior of the structure of looking at standpoint from asset management and safety. But LCCA(life cycle cost analysis) of railway structure was almost impossible as there were not anything datum for maintenance plan, such as maintenance periods related to each of components(painting and corrosion of steel, and cracking of elements, etc)and maintenance proportion, despite of its 100-year history. According, for collecting data related to railway truss bridge, bridge record cards and testing safety papers, and researching question, etc are surveyed and classified for LCC Analysis. Especially, LCC assessment on the side of assets-maintenance considering about initial cost, maintenance cost, and indirect cost is constructed. Maintenance period and complementary measure rate are very important in maintenance. To decide maintenance period, Baysian updating method is applied.

Shock absorption of concrete liquid storage tank with different kinds of isolation measures

  • Concrete rectangular liquid storage tanks are widely used, but there are many cases of damage in previous earthquakes. Nonlinear fluid-structure interaction (FSI) is considered, Mooney-Rivlin material is used for rubber bearing, nonlinear contact is used for sliding bearing, numerical calculation models of no-isolation, rubber isolation, sliding isolation and hybrid isolation concrete rectangular liquid storage tanks are established; dynamic responses of different structures are compared to verify the effectiveness of isolation methods; and influences of earthquake amplitude, bidirectional earthquake and far-field long-period earthquake on dynamic responses are investigated. Results show that for liquid sloshing wave height, rubber isolation cause amplification effect, while sliding isolation and hybrid isolation have reduction effect; displacement of rubber isolation structure is much larger than that of sliding isolation with limiting-devices and hybrid isolation structure; when PGA is larger, wall cracking probability of no-isolation structure becomes larger, and probability of liquid sloshing wave height and structure displacement of rubber isolation structure exceeds the limit is also larger; under bidirectional earthquake, occurrence probabilities that liquid sloshing wave height and structure displacement of rubber isolation structure exceed the limit will be increased; besides, far-field long-period earthquake mainly influences structure displacement and liquid sloshing wave height. On the whole, control effect of sliding isolation is the best, followed by hybrid isolation, and rubber isolation is the worst.

The Effect of Capital Structure on Financial Performance of Vietnamese Listing Pharmaceutical Enterprises

  • This study investigates the effect of capital structure on the financial performance of pharmaceutical enterprises which are listing on Vietnam's stock market. The study builds the regression using ROE as dependent variable and four independent variables, including self-financing, financial leverage, long-term asset and debt to assets ratios. In addition, we use other variables as controlling ones, such as firm size, fixed asset rate and growth. We collect data for the period from 2015 to 2019 of all 30 pharmaceutical enterprises which are currently listing on Vietnam's stock market. The least square regression (OLS) is used to test the effect of capital structure to the firms' financial performance. The analysis results show that the financial leverage ratio (LR), long-term asset ratio (LAR) and debt-to-assets ratio (DR) have positive relationship with firm performance, meanwhile the self-financing (E/C) affects negatively to the return on equity (ROE). Upon the findings we suggest that the Vietnamese government should focus on stabilizing macro environment to create favorable environment for enterprises. And the pharmaceutical enterprises should build more reasonable capital structure with higher debt proportion than equity, diversifying loan mobilization channels such as issuing long-term bonds. Additionally, the firms should expand the scale appropriately to maintain development and ability to pay debts.

고고도 장기체공 무인기 동체 및 미익부 구조해석 (Structural Analysis of Fuselage and Empennage of High Altitude Long Endurance UAV)

  • UAV has been promoted for practical use in the field of civilian and military. Recently, UAV is required high-specification performance such as long-term flight and precision observation. Among these UAVs, High Altitude Long Endurance UAV(HALE UAV) has been developed for the purpose to replace some of the functions of the satellite such as meteorological observation, communications and internet relay while flying a long period in the stratosphere. In order to fly a long period in harsh environment of the stratosphere, aircraft needs high Lift-Drag-Ratio and weight reduction of the structure. This paper performed the structural analysis for fuselage and empennage of HALE UAV. Critical loading conditions for structural analysis are acquired from flight load analysis and finally the results of structural sizing for weight reduction is presented.

Population Dynamics of the Long-Tailed Clawed Salamander Larva, Onychodactylus fischeri, and Its Age Structure in Korea

  • Larvae of the long-tailed clawed salamander, Onychodactylus fischeri, have a relatively long larval period, spending a year or more within the stream where they hatch; therefore, a well-established larval population could be critical for the conservation of adult populations. To study the population dynamics of long-tailed clawed salamander larvae, we surveyed a field population once or twice a month from September, 2005 to June, 2006, and determined the age of larval clawed salamanders collected from three different populations in October, 2004 using skeletochronology. The age of long-tailed clawed salamander larvae ranged from 0 to 3 years. New recruitment of larvae in the population primarily occurred in November, 2005, and mid-March, 2006. Larvae with a snout-vent length of more than 30 mm disappeared from the streams in September, 2005, suggesting that two to three year-old clawed salamander larvae metamorphosed during this period.

  • 본 논문에서는 캐스케이드된 장주기 광섬유격자 구조의 해석에 기존의 두모드 결합 모델(TMCM)을 적용할 때에 발생하는 제한요인들에 대하여 분석하고, 아울러 이를 바탕으로 만족 시 TMCM 적용의 유효성을 보장하는 구체적인 조건들을 제안하다. 또한, 실제 상황에서 흔히 찾아 볼 수 있는 격자 파라메터 값을 적용하여 이와 같은 조건들이 의미하는 격자주기 변화의 허용범위와 사용가능 대역폭에 관하여 수치해석 결과를 갖고 논한다.
