  • Proposed in the paper is an agent based and object-oriented methodology to create a virtual logistics support system model. The proposed virtual logistics support system model consists of three types of objects: the logistics force agent model(static model), the military supplies transport manager model(function model), the military supplies state manager model(dynamic model). A logistic force agent model consists of two agent: main function agent and function agent. To improve the reusability and composability of a logistics force agent model, the function agent is designed to adapt to different logistics force agent configuration. A military supplies transport manager is agent that get information about supply route, make decisions based on decision variables, which are maintained by the military supplies state manager, and transport military supplies. A military supplies state manager is requested military supplies from logistics force agent, provide decision variables such as the capacity, order of priority. For the implementation of the proposed virtual logistics force agent model, this paper employs Discrete Event Systems Specification(DEVS) formalism.

  • With the rapid growth of e-logistics in the global logistics industry, it is important to gain further insight into this growing segment of Chinese logistics industry. The current situation in China consists of many small and medium-sized logistics firms. Furthermore, e-logistics is still relatively undeveloped in the majority of the Chinese logistics companies and presently there are still many problems unresolved. This paper attempted to review the concepts and theoretical background of e-logistics systems from previous studies. After acknowledging the essential issues related to e-logistics systems, a research model based on the theory acceptance model was designed and tested. The key factors to the e-logistics system (reliability, maintainability, software, facility and transportation) were validated through the modeling and testing process. Included in the modelling and testing process are other related factors of e-logistics process, logistics information system and added value as dependent variables in this model. The results of this study confirm that the e-logistics Process is affected by transportation, while maintainability and software factors influence logistics information system. reliability, maintainability, facility and transportation are significant factors associated with added value. This research aimed to provide theoretical and practical contribution to Chinese logistics companies and to give some insights into e-logistics system as a whole. The paper also provided some useful theoretical implication and practical guidelines for the development of e-logistics system in the chinese logistics industry.

  • Most of logistics system has difficulties in transportation logistics tracking due to problems in real world such as discordance between logistics information and logistics flow. For the solution to these problems, through case study about corporation, suppliers that transport order items in shopping mall, we retain traceability of order items through accordance between logistics and information flow and derive transportation logistics tracking model. Through literature review, we selected permissioned public block chain model as reference model which is suitable for transportation logistics tracking model. We compared, analyzed and evaluated using centralized model and block chain as application model for transportation logistics tracking model. In this paper we proposed transportation logistics tracking model which integrated with logistics system in real world. It can be utilized for tracking and detection model and also as a tool for marketing.

  • It is extremely important to predict the logistics requirements in a scientific and rational way. However, in recent years, the improvement effect on the prediction method is not very significant and the traditional statistical prediction method has the defects of low precision and poor interpretation of the prediction model, which cannot only guarantee the generalization ability of the prediction model theoretically, but also cannot explain the models effectively. Therefore, in combination with the theories of the spatial economics, industrial economics, and neo-classical economics, taking city of Erdos as the research object, the study identifies the leading industry that can produce a large number of cargoes, and further predicts the static logistics generation of the Erdos and hinterlands. By integrating various factors that can affect the regional logistics requirements, this study established a logistics requirements potential model from the aspect of spatial economic principles, and expanded the way of logistics requirements prediction from the single statistical principles to an new area of special and regional economics.

  • The SCOR(supply chain operations reference) model which is a management tool, has been developed to describe the business activities associated with all phases of satisfying a customer's demand. The model is able to successfully describe and provide a basis for supply chain improvement. In this paper, we review the SCOR model, the present status of the Korean defense logistics system, and suggest an application of the model for the integrated defense logistics system.

  • In this paper, "a conceptual model of Reconnaissance-Strike-Logistics Complex(RSLC) in future warfare" is proposed. Basic idea of the RSLC model is to combine logistics and the pre-existing Reconnaissance-Strike Complex(RSC) through a C4 network system. That is, the RSLC model consists of reconnaissance, strike, logistics, and C4 network systems. The C4 network system creates new combat power by integrating all the other systems. The RSLC model generates three conceptual complex circles; the RSC, the SLC(Strke-Logistics Complex), and the RSLC circles. The RSC circles describes direct combat behaviors in the battlefield. On the other hand, the SLC circle indicates combat sustainment capabilities. The RSLC circle including the RSC and the SLC circles, can present a more complete combat process. There are two key advantages of the RSLC model. First of all, logistics is considered one of key combat components to form IDA(Information-Decision-Action) cycle for combat decision-making process more completely. Secondly, the capabilities of battlefield awareness which reconnaissance and war-net systems provide, can be applied not only to the strike system in the RSC circle, but also to the logistics system in the SLC circle. Thus, the RSLC model can maximize combat synergy effects by integrating the RSC and the SLC. With a similar logic, this paper develops "A Revised System of Systems with Logistics (RSSL)" which combines "A New system of Systems" and logistics. These tow models proposed here help explain several issues such as logistics environment in future warfare, MOE(Measure of Effectiveness( on logistics performance, and COA(Course of Actions) for decreasing mass and increasing velocity. In particular, velocity in logistics is emphasized.

  • The growth of online market is accelerating due to the development of technology and the era of pandemic. In order to deliver the ordered product to customers courier service should be used. In addition, the courier logistics market is growing with the growth of the online market. With the growth of the logistics market, traffic and environmental problems are emerging as social issues. Logistics technology of urban community logistics courier terminal system utilizing vacant space in the city has been developed as a new alternative to environment and traffic problems by increasing logistics efficiency in the city area. In this study, we propose a concept of a system that performs operational concept definition and scenario analysis by applying model-based perspective analysis to urban community logistics courier terminal system under development. Through this study, we defined the operating concept of the urban community logistics courier terminal, which is the target of development, and defined the scenario for system operation by grasping the structure and function of the system and applied it to system development.

  • If do not become whole optimization because enterprise's individual enterprise internal determinate improvement effort is associated with activity in enterprise SCM, competitive power can not but be extremely limited the result. Therefore, to spur in hidden cost's discovery and logistics' optimization is actuality. In this paper, as long as it is by logistics cost except empty driving if reverse logistics happens in distribution channel progressing, logistics reverse logistics' hidden cost through model that do minimization profit of logistics to look for plan that can do maximization try. Finally, is based on dual of distribution cost and profit of logistics and reverse logistics and achieves Pull, optimal system modeling that use Push system and gropes method of effective logistics cost.

  • From middle of 90's, SCM had emphasized the importance of connection of all companies which participate to a market, and outsourcing has emphasizes the slim structure of companies for pursing cost reduction and service improvement. But outsourcing as '2-1=1' and integration as '1+1=2' not adapt to the advanced market but return to the former state. Besides, it is impossible of subcontractors and logistics companies to execute these strategies which are win-win strategy and outsourcing. So many logistics companies have sharp competition in price recently. Therefore logistics companies have increased the need for a profitable business model and strategy. This paper researches the limitations of logistics market and redefines the role of logistics through the evolution of logistics. Also this paper proposes new role(Logister) and structure(Velcro structure) for not maker-oriented logistics but market-oriented logistics. The introductory case study will help to understand 2 terms(logister and velcro structure).
