개선된 하드웨어 산술연산기 구성 (A Construction of the Improved Hardware Arithmetic Operation Unit)

  • 본 논문에서는 Galois체에 기초를 둔 고효율 산술연산기 구성에 관한 한가지 방법을 제안하였다. 제안한 연산기는 기존의 방법에 비해 좀 더 규칙적이고 확장성이 용이한 이점이 있으며, 또한, 각종 멀티미디어 하드웨어 구성시의 기본인 연산기로 적용 및 응용할 수 있다. 향 후 연구과제로는 좀 더 콤팩트하고 효과적인 산술연산 알고리즘의 도출이 필요하며, 이에 논리연산기를 접목하여 산술연산 및 논리연산을 수행하는 연산전용 프로세서의 개발이 필요하다.

  • This paper presents a method of constructing an Arithmetic Operation Unit Systems (A.O.U.S.) over Galois Field GF(2**m) for the purpose of the four arithmetical operation(addition, subtraction, multiplication and division between two elements in GF(2**mm). The proposed A.O.U.S. is constructed by following procedure. First of all, we obtained each four arithmetical operation algorithms for performing the four arithmetical operations using by mathematical properties over GF(2**m). Next, for the purpose of realizing the four arithmetical unit module (adder module, subtracter module, multiplier module and divider module), we constructed basic cells using the four arithmetical operation algorithms. Then, we realized the four Arithmetical Operation Unit Modules(A.O.U.M.) using basic cells and we constructd distributor modules for the purpose of merging A.O.U.M. with distributor modules. Finally, we constructed the A.O.U.S. over GF(2**m) by synthesizing A.O.U.M. with distributor modules. We prospect that we are able to construct an Arithmetic & Logical Operation Unit Systems (A.L.O.U.S.) if we will merge the proposed A.O.U.S. in this paper with Logical Operation Unit Systems (L.O.U.S.).

  • By advent of NNC(Neural Network Chip), it is possible that process in parallel and discern the importance of signal with learning oneself by experience in external signal. So, the design of general purpose operation unit using VHDL(VHSIC Hardware Description Language) on the existing FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array) can replaced EN(Expert Network) and learning algorithm. Also, neural network operation unit is possible various operation using learning of NN(Neural Network). This paper present general purpose operation unit using hierarchical structure of EN EN of presented structure learn from logical gate which constitute a operation unit, it relocated several layer The overall structure is hierarchical using a module, it has generality more than FPGA operation unit.

Study of combinations of site operating states for multi-unit PSA

  • As Probabilistic Safety Assessments (PSAs) are thoroughly conducted for the Site Operating States (SOSs) for a single unit, multi-unit Probabilistic Safety Assessments (MUPSAs) are ongoing worldwide to address new technical challenges or issues. In South Korea, the determination of the site operating states for a single site requires a logical approach with reasonable assumptions due to the fact that there are 4-8 operating units for each site. This paper suggests a simulation model that gives a reasonable expectation of the site operation states using the Monte-Carlo method as a stochastic approach and deterministic aspects such as operational policies. Statistical hypothesis tests were conducted so that the reliance of the simulation results can be guaranteed. In this study, 7 units of the Kori site were analysed as a case study. The result shows that the fraction of full power for all 7 units is nearly 0.45. For situations when more than two units are not in operation, the highest fraction combination was obtained for Plant Operation State (POS) 8, which is the stage of inspection and repairment. By entering various site operation scenarios, the simulation model can be used for the analysis of other site operation states.

한국군의 UN평화활동에 대한 성과기반 평가모델개발과 적용 (Result Based Evaluation Model and Its Application to Peace Operation of the ROK Military Contingent to UN Mission)

  • 유엔임무단에 파병되는 한국군의 평화활동 성과를 측정하는 현행평가방식에 대해 적절성, 타당성, 신뢰성문제가 불가피하게 제기되고 있다. 이에 본고는 유엔현장임무단과 국제개발커뮤니티에서 널리 채택한 바 있는 성과기반평가(RBE)모델을 한국군 파병부대의 평화활동에 부합하도록 보완 및 적용하는 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 연구결과, 논리체계모형을 토대로 기획과 평가단계를 통합하는 RBE모델을 토대로 파병 전기획, 파병기간 중 모니터링과 단계적 평가, 파병 후 영향평가의 사이클로 귀결되는 틀을 제안하였다. 둘째, 현행 한국군 평화활동의 모니터링과 평가체계를 RBE모델 기준을 적용하여 검증한 결과, 평가조직 운용 및 논리체계모형에 해당되는 요소들이 기준을 충족하지 못하거나 부분적으로만 충족하였고 파병사후 영향평가는 거의 수행하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 전술한 문제점들의 해결방안과 민-관-군 분야 전문가가 참여하는 합동조사단 운용을 정책제안으로 제시하였다.

  • The space planning and interior layout of recovery unit should be determined carefully for patient's nursing and observation which is considered to prevent infection and to cope quickly with emergency situation after surgical operation. Recently, the recovery unit in medical facilities is planned and managed without consideration of operating system, sanitary facilities and prior condition of space. Therefore, there is required to the logical criterion of architectural planning for patient's recovery unit which is concerned about opinion of medical team, anesthetist, sanitarian, architect and patient as a user. As the result, this study would apply to design guideline for the architectural planning of patient's recovery unit.

  • In this paper,a network interface unit of token-passing bus network and its driving software are implemented based on Mini-MAP. This network interface unit performs the function of MAC layer which is responsible for transmission and reception of frames as well as the management of logical ring. The driving software performs the management of data buffer and the report of errors, if ocoured, to the higher layer. Motorola MC68824 of is used as a TBC(Token Bus Controller) and Intel80186 as a CPU for network interface unit. The operation of network interface unit is verified by self-test which checks the functioning of TBC and CPU. In addition each module of driving software is tested to check the functions regarding transmission and reception of frames.

  • This paper presents general concept of DC switch gear(DCSWGR). Normally, DCSWGR consist of Digital protection unit(DPU), High Speed Circuit Breaker(HSCB), Disconnect Switch (DS), Programmable Logic Control(PLC), Auxiliary Relays and etc. Most of the components has its special characteristics and their interface between each others are various and complex. In this paper every constituent general design are preceded and interface between each component are examined. And also DCSWGR operation logic with logical diagram including interlock signal are introduced.

  • 경보시스템은 원자력발전소의 안전을 위해 매우 중요하다. 운전원은 경보발생시 경보와 그 원인 간의 논리적 관계를 파악하기 위해 논리도면을 참조한다. 이 논문은 전산화된 월성원자력발전소 3, 4호기 경보 논리도면에서 경보-원인 경로를 추적하는 시스템을 제안한다. 또한 논리도면의 전산화를 위하여 논리도면을 2차원 문자배열로 표시하고 이를 검증할 수 있는 문법을 제시였다. 그리고 추적된 경보-원인 간 논리경로와 논리 상태를 표시하기위하여 ND 및 DC 연산을 제안하였다. 이 시스템은 현재 월성원자력발전소에서 운영 중에 있다.
