통기성 상자 구조물에 대한 유한요소 해석 (Finite Element Analysis of a Ventilating Box Structure)

  • Corrugated board is an efficient low-cost structure material fur the boxes that are widely used for transporting, storing and distributing goods. Corrugated board is also considered as an orthotropic because the principal material directions are the same as in paperboard. The purpose of this study was to elucidate the principal design parameters of ventilating box through the FEA on the various types of ventilating hole. From the viewpoint of the stress distribution and stress level, the optimum pattern and location of the ventilating hole were vertically oblong, and symmetry position with a short distance to the right and left from the center of front and rear panel. And, the optimum location and pattern of hand hole were a short distance to the top from the center of both side panels, and modified shape to increase the radius of curvature of both side in horizontal oblong. In general, the optimum pattern and location of both the ventilating hole and hand hole based on the FEM analysis were well verified by experimental investigation. It is suggested that decrease in compressive strength of the box could be minimized in the same ventilating hole area under the condition of the length of major axis of ventilating hole is less than 1/4 of box length, the ratio of minor axis/major axis is 113.5∼l/2.5, and number of the ventilating holes is even and symmetrical.

컴퓨터 시스템 설치를 위한 위치-할본-규모결정 모형

  • 복수 설비입지 문제의 한 유형인 컴퓨터 시스템 설치문제는 설치위치의 결정, 서비스 지역의 할본, 각 시스템의 규모 결정 등 복합적인 의사결정 과제를 안고 있다. 이 세가지 의사결정 문제는 상호 밀접하게 연결되어 있으므로 세 문제를 동시에 고려하여 전체적으로 최적화할 수 있는 해를 구하도록 해야하는 데 이는 매우 어려운 일이다. 그러므로 지금까지는 각각의 최적해를 독립적으로 구한 후 이를 적당히 결합한다거나 또는 아예 최적해를 구하기 보다는 만족할 만한 적정해를 구함으로써 만족할 수 밖에 없었다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 한계를 극복하기 위해 컴퓨터 시스템 설치에 있어서의 location-Size결정모형을 구축함으로써 이러한 의사결정 문제의 수리적 최적해를 구하고자 했다. 이 모형은 선형 및 비선형의 제약조건을 갖는 non-linear programming 문제로 수식화 되었으며, penalty function method, feasible conjugate, direction methods, branch & bound technique등의 algorithm들을 단계적으로 사용함으로써 최적해의 도출이 가능하게 되었다. 실제 문제에 적용한 결과 유용성은 충분한 것으로 보여졌으나 해법상의 개선을 통해 계산노력을 줄이도록 함이 요구 되었다.

  • Three decades after its establishment in 1946, Seoul National University was transferred to its current location in Gwan-ak District in accordance with the Seoul National University Integration Plan. In the 40 years since Seoul National University transferred to the Gwan-ak area, much quantitative and qualitative growth has taken place, and the university has grown into a world-class research institution. In this process, the campus was expanded externally and internally, and many changes have been made to the campus life bases and facilities which were planned at the beginning of the campus' construction. This study examines the expansion of the facilities at Seoul National University's Gwan-ak campus, as well as the expansion of the campus' boundaries. In addition, through quantitative analysis (Space Syntax), we predicted the location of campus life bases of the present multi-centralized campus and suggested a future developmental direction for the campus.

눈 깜박임 화소 값 기반의 안면과 홍채영역 영상인식용 모듈설계 (Design of Image Recognition Module for Face and Iris Area based on Pixel with Eye Blinking)

  • 본 논문에서는 홍채정보로 개인인증을 위한 USB-OTG(Uiversal Serial Bus On-the-go) 영상인식 모듈을 설계한다. 개인인증을 위해 사용자가 스마트 폰 버튼을 누를 필요가 없도록 스마트 기기를 안면주위의 여러 장의 안면영상을 획득 후, 눈 깜박임에 의한 화소 값 차로 안면과 홍채영역을 검색하는 영상인식 알고리듬을 제안한다. 본 연구에서는 인접한 눈을 뜬 영상과 눈을 감은 영상을 감지한 안면과 홍채 영상의 프레임 화소 값의 차이를 사용한다. 또한, 홍채 영역분할에 의한 동공과 홍채영역 위치를 빠르게 찾을 수 방법을 활용한다. 제안한 빠른 홍채영역의 위치탐색은 눈 영역의 적정한 그리드 크기에 의해 결정할 수 있다. 안면과 홍채영역의 제한된 영역을 탐색하는 홍채인식 카메라 모듈의 USB-OTG 인터페이스 통한 인접영상의 프레임 차이에 의해 검출할 수 있도록 설계하였다. 이로서 스마트 디바이스 사용자가 홍채 인식을 위해 눈을 깜빡이지 않고 대기해야 하는 불편함을 제거함으로써 사용자 편의성을 증대시킬 것으로 기대한다.

체계중심병원설계를 위한 공조조닝 설정의 건축 계획에 관한 연구 (A Study on Architectural Planning of Establishing Air-Conditioning Zoning for Hospital Design Focused on System)

  • Purpose: Space planning to cope with the changing function of the hospital is essential in hospital architecture. In order to do so, it is vital that the paradigm shifts from hospital design focused on purpose toward hospital design focused on system. Not only space planning but also air-conditioning plan, which is most closely related to the operation and maintenance of hospital facilities; and the environment of hospital users, should be able to respond to changes with ease. Thus this study is to provide fundamental data of the air-conditioning plan for the hospital design focused on system by analyzing the concept and characteristics of the air-conditioning plan in the recent hospital architecture planning. Results: As a result of this study, in the air conditioning plan for the hospital architecture planning, the most important are the location relation among the departments the air handling unit room and the air handling unit manage and the air conditioning zoning setting according to the air conditioning system. Therefore, for the hospital architecture planning focused on system, it is necessary to establish the air conditioning setting that can accommodate changeable environment of departments and accordingly the appropriate area range of the air conditioning zoning and the plan for the location of the air handling unit should be considered. Implications: Thereby aims to provide fundamental data on air handling unit zoning planning in the hospital architecture planning.

SimulationX를 이용한 Remote Control Valve의 특성 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristic of Remote Control Valve Using Simulation X)

  • Compared to other types of power, hydraulic energy is the most commonly used for heavy vehicles and ships because it has fewer location and space constraints, and its controllability can be maintained even under adverse conditions. Operators have controlled a main control valve of ship winches by pushing or pulling the lever, which is directly connected to the spool. However, because of the spatial arrangement, the importance of remote control valves has emerged. In this paper, experiments of the hysteresis characteristics were performed by analyzing the remote-control valve using a valve tester and RA2300. The validity was verified by comparing with the analytical model using SimulationX as the hydraulic analysis program. This study examined the effects of the spool's notch (Non, End-mill, and Spherical) and the effects of stiffness and pre-load of the spool spring on Spool stroke, open area, and hysteresis characteristics. It is considered possible to reduce the cost and the, trial and error process in designing remote-control valves in the future.

상업 휴게 공간의 디자인과 이용 행태 연구 -부산 신세계 백화점 휴게 공간과 가구를 중심으로- (A Study on the Design and Behavioral Analysis of Commercial Rest Area -Focused on the Rest Area and Furniture of Shinsegae Department Store, Busan-)

  • 본 연구는 부산의 대표적 상업 공간인 센텀 신세계백화점을 대상으로, 실내 휴게 공간과 가구 디자인 현황을 파악하고, 가구를 중심으로 한 방문객의 이용 행태 특성을 분석하고자 한다. 상업공간에서 공공의 영역이라고 할 수 있는 휴게 공간 디자인이 방문객의 특성과 행태를 지원하고 있는지를 파악하여 추후 상업 휴게 공간 디자인을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 연구방법은 현장 방문 관찰을 진행해 휴게공간에서 각 층별 휴게공간의 위치, 휴게가구 디자인의 유형과 디자인 특성을 파악한 후, 주요 층별 휴게 가구 이용자의 특성과 행태를 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 휴게공간과 가구를 분석한 결과 휴게공간의 위치나 크기는 적절하다고 여겨진다. 또한 휴게 가구는 베이지에서 브라운, 밝은 회색에서 블랙에 이르는 저채도의 편안한 색채에 부채형, 호형 벤치, 소파, 의자 형 등 다양한 디자인으로 제공되어 있어, 쉬기, 휴대폰 사용, 대화와 같은 가장 일반적인 이용 행태를 적절히 지원하고 있었다.

  • The purpose of this study is to actualize the unit planning space. First, to understand various needs about residential space of apartments inhabitants. It is necessary for us to understand exactly what differences of residential needs and how different they are with todays's viewpoint because different residential life should be developed according to family structure, age and personality. Second, to suggest plan type as many as possible to reflect and accept various residential needs of inhabitants. The main bed room is normal used for the space of husband and wife, it is necessary to consider the room to be free from the main living room, to introduce variety in the area division or location of rooms an to mark kitchen and dining room as family room or pieasure room besides as a working space

  • An active-matrix LCD using thin film transistors (TFT) has been widely recognized as having potential for high-quality color flat-panel displays. Pixel-Design Array Simulation Tool (PDAST) was used to profoundly understand the gate si후미 distortion and pixel charging capability. which are the most critical limiting factors for high-quality TFT-LCDs. Since PDAST can simulate the gate, data and pixel voltages of a certain pixel on TFT array at any time and at any location on an array, the effect of the resistivity of gate line material on the pixel operations can be effectively analyzed. The gate signal delay, pixel charging ratio and level-shift of the pixel voltage were simulated with varying the parameters. The information obtained from this study could be utilized to design the larger area and finer image quality panel.

  • This study is intended to propose a plan index that can be used in the early stage of a museum design based on theoretical review of a major space of a museum including its spatial division, functions and roles. The scope of the study includes functions and roles of circulation in a major space based on precedent studies. The spatial range is limited to a major space among exhibition spaces in a museum. This study analyzes overseas 14 museums. In terms of methodology, the study analyzes circulation in a descriptive way only In the focusing on floor plan and section composition. The results of this study are as follows. First, vertical elements should be critically considered in a circulation plan for functional performance of dimensional circulation distribution in a major space. Second, a plan by location of vertical and horizontal moving elements related to a major space affects a circulation relation more than a connection type between a major space and an exhibition area.
