  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the job satisfaction, turnover intention and organization commitment level of hotel employees using Herzberg's motivation hygiene theory. This study used SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 20.0 to conduct frequency analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, path analysis and chi-square difference test. The results of study, first of all, Herzberg's, theory of hygiene are influenced by satisfaction of employees, organization commitment and turnover intention. It will be strongly needed to management of compensation, well-organized policy of human resources system. Lastly, in Hotel business, It showed differences having a strong influence on local employee and chain hotel employee according to method of Hotel management. In conclusion, in the hospitality industry, it is desirable to carry out on their own ways of vision and purpose each corporations rather than following regimental rules.

Object Tracking with Sparse Representation based on HOG and LBP Features

  • Visual object tracking is a fundamental problem in the field of computer vision, as it needs a proper model to account for drastic appearance changes that are caused by shape, textural, and illumination variations. In this paper, we propose a feature-based visual-object-tracking method with a sparse representation. Generally, most appearance-based models use the gray-scale pixel values of the input image, but this might be insufficient for a description of the target object under a variety of conditions. To obtain the proper information regarding the target object, the following combination of features has been exploited as a corresponding representation: First, the features of the target templates are extracted by using the HOG (histogram of gradient) and LBPs (local binary patterns); secondly, a feature-based sparsity is attained by solving the minimization problems, whereby the target object is represented by the selection of the minimum reconstruction error. The strengths of both features are exploited to enhance the overall performance of the tracker; furthermore, the proposed method is integrated with the particle-filter framework and achieves a promising result in terms of challenging tracking videos.

Human Tracking using Multiple-Camera-Based Global Color Model in Intelligent Space

  • We propose an global color model based method for tracking motions of multiple human using a networked multiple-camera system in intelligent space as a human-robot coexistent system. An intelligent space is a space where many intelligent devices, such as computers and sensors(color CCD cameras for example), are distributed. Human beings can be a part of intelligent space as well. One of the main goals of intelligent space is to assist humans and to do different services for them. In order to be capable of doing that, intelligent space must be able to do different human related tasks. One of them is to identify and track multiple objects seamlessly. In the environment where many camera modules are distributed on network, it is important to identify object in order to track it, because different cameras may be needed as object moves throughout the space and intelligent space should determine the appropriate one. This paper describes appearance based unknown object tracking with the distributed vision system in intelligent space. First, we discuss how object color information is obtained and how the color appearance based model is constructed from this data. Then, we discuss the global color model based on the local color information. The process of learning within global model and the experimental results are also presented.

  • 주행 로봇 환경에서 비전 기반의 물체 인식은 물체의 주변 요소와 동적인 환경에 대한 다양한 영상처리 문제를 포함한다. SURF(Speeded Up Robust Features)는 영상의 크기와 회전변화에 강인하게 물체를 인식하는 알고리즘으로 많은 연구자에 의해 사용되고 있다. 하지만 SURF 기반의 영상처리 방법은 고차원의 벡터 성분을 사용하기 때문에 연산 과정에서 많은 시간을 소비하며, 그로 인해 실시간 시스템에서 수행의 어려움을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해서, 연산량이 많은 SURF 처리 과정을 GPU(Graphics Processing Unit)에서 수행하도록 하여, 보다 빠른 영상 인식을 구현하고자 한다. NVIDIA의 CUDA 라이브러리를 이용하여 GPU 상의 수행 프로그램을 구현하고, 실험을 통해 이동 로봇의 속도와 영상의 크기변화에 따른 표식의 인식률 및 수행시간에 대해서 CPU와 성능을 비교한다.

Three-stream network with context convolution module for human-object interaction detection

  • Human-object interaction (HOI) detection is a popular computer vision task that detects interactions between humans and objects. This task can be useful in many applications that require a deeper understanding of semantic scenes. Current HOI detection networks typically consist of a feature extractor followed by detection layers comprising small filters (eg, 1 × 1 or 3 × 3). Although small filters can capture local spatial features with a few parameters, they fail to capture larger context information relevant for recognizing interactions between humans and distant objects owing to their small receptive regions. Hence, we herein propose a three-stream HOI detection network that employs a context convolution module (CCM) in each stream branch. The CCM can capture larger contexts from input feature maps by adopting combinations of large separable convolution layers and residual-based convolution layers without increasing the number of parameters by using fewer large separable filters. We evaluate our HOI detection method using two benchmark datasets, V-COCO and HICO-DET, and demonstrate its state-of-the-art performance.

지속가능발전과 지속가능발전교육에 대한 초등 예비 교사들의 인식 (Elementary School Student Teachers' Perceptions of Sustainable Development and Education for Sustainable Development)

  • The role of teachers has been explicitly emphasized to implement the vision of sustainable development(SD). Also, it is very important to understand the way student teachers understand SD and how they interpret their own professional task in terms of SD, usually referred to as education for sustainable development(ESD). This study investigated student teachers' perceptions of SD and ESD using group interview. Key findings include, first, that they think SD as development which does not exceed the limits of natural environment, and as wise management of resources/protection of environment for future generations. They also think SD as good thing though they don't understand the contested nature of SD. Second they think ESD as education about SD, but some student teachers say they can't explain ESD. Many student teachers prefer field trip to local examples for both elementary school students and themselves. Also they will teach only what the textbook says about SD and ESD during their school placement and as teachers. So it will be the beginning of ESD in school to include SD in the curriculum for students and student teachers. It is suggested to study student teachers' perception of SD focussing on how they think the relationship between protection of environment and economic growth.

토지관련 업무의 정보화 추진방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Strategies for Land Information System Development)

  • 정보화 사회의 진전에 따라 행정업무의 효율화와 대민 서비스의 제고를 위해서, 중앙정부와 서울시 또는 자치구별로 각각의 필요성에 따라 토지관련 정보화 사업이 추진되고 있다. 그러나 토지관련 자료의 저장, 유지관리, 교환 등 정보화에 많은 문제점의 발생이 예상되므로, 서울시 및 자치구의 정보화 수요를 충족시키고, 중복 투자의 위험을 예방하기 위해서, 서울시 토지관련 정보화 기반 구축방안을 제시하는 데 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 이념적으로는 UN의 지속 가능한 토지의 관리를 배경으로 하고, 기술적으로는 정보화와 지리정보체계(GIS) 이론을 중심으로 하며, 자료의 공유, 표준화를 도모한다. 지속 가능한 토지관리, 지적의 미래 비젼(Cadashe 2014) 등 검토하고, 국내외 토지관련 정보화 사례 분석하여, 데이터간 상호 연계방안, 조직 및 제도 개선 방안, 인력양성 방안 등이 효율적인 토지관련 정보화 추진방안으로 제시되었다.

Implications of the Family and Consumer Sciences Curriculum in the USA

  • This study examined the Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) National Standards with some examples at the state level, analyzed the previous studies relevant to curriculum implementation in the USA, and explored critical success factors in moving toward the new perspective curriculum in exemplary states. The process, in which the FCS discipline struggled to clarify the identity and image as well as to find the mission and vision, produced the FCS National Standards in 1998 and 2008 in the USA. The FCS National Standards were established to fulfill the mission of the FCS based on a critical science perspective. The previous research on a state level implementation indicated that the majority of FCS state administrators agreed that the National Standards positively influenced curriculum development. The critical success factors in integrating National Standards into local programs included the dissemination of thephilosophical works of Marjorie Brown, the foundation of the FCS curriculum with a critical science perspective, the establishment of National Standards corresponding to the philosophical works and a critical science perspective, the openness of state FCS administrators to educational reform, the construction of an infrastructure to support reform, and the commitment by university professors to develop a teacher training program. The critical success factors identified can be employed as an informative guide for the future development and implementation of the Family and Consumer Sciences curriculum in Korea.

  • Arginine is one of the basic aminoacid found to be associated with histones and also one of the essential aminoacids now. Arginine is provided by diet, and also found to be synthesised in the body through intestinal-renal axis. Justification---BMI---Associated Risks-How to gain body weight---Healthy. Arginine as drug was first approved by FDA and has recognised as a excellent dietary supplement for curing diseases like preeclampsia during gestation, diabetes and insulin resistance in obese patients. Preeclampsia is characterised by high blood pressure and proteinuria in gestational period of after 20 weeks. Severe preeclampsia is characterised by headaches, blurred vision, and inability to have high photovision, nausea and vomiting. L-Arginine along with Vit C and E are given as medical food to the patients and decrease in condition symptoms is the project now under phase II clinical trial. However the role of arginine in ameolirating preeclampsia symptoms is uncertain except with that of hypertension. Arginine is used to treat pain in sickle cell anaemia, lung damage, reperfusion injury, Trauma and shock but should be excluded during sepsis.

  • 본 연구는 도시개발 변화에 따른 공공도서관 신축부지선정에 대한 법적 검토사항을 살펴보고, 일반적인 부지특성과 입지기준을 고찰하였다. 또한 전주시를 대상으로 적합한 부지를 선정하기 위하여, 지역주민들의 정보문화활동에 관한 각종 지표 및 통계자료를 조사하였고, 이용자 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그리고 이를 토대로 새로운 공공도서관 설립 비전과 목적을 수립하고, 부지선정 계획을 단계별로 제안하였다. 본 연구는 도서관 신축부지선정과 지방정부의 도서관정책개발 및 예산확보의 타당성 근거로 활용하는데 유용한 자료가 될 것으로 기대한다.
