충북지역 읍면소재 소도읍 전통시장의 물리적 환경 특성과 개선에 관한 연구 - 무극, 삼성, 보은 3개 전통시장을 사례로- (A Study on the Physical Environment of Local Traditional Markets located in Chungbuk Province - Centering on Mugeuk, Samseong, and Boeun Traditional Markets -)

  • Traditional markets located in local small towns have effected local economies and culture for a long time, but their current situation is not so good. In this context, this paper tries to find out the physical characteristics and problems of local traditional markets and to extract some suggestions to improve them. For this, I selected three traditional markets as case study areas such as Mugeuk, Samseong, and Boeun located in local small town in Chungbuk Province. Using the diverse survey methods including theoretical review, basic data analysis, field survey, and questionnaire study, I examined physical features such as location, spatial structure, type of business, streetscape, and convenient facilities in the designated markets. Finally, based on this, I proposed some suggestions on the improvement of traditional markets located in local small towns as followings; expand and improve the convenient facilities, enforce the image of entrance, boost and form groups of specified business, reflect the local characteristics, and amend the related institution etc.

농촌마을 개발방향 설정을 위한 자원 평가기법 연구 (Resource Evaluation Skill to Set a Development Direction Rural Village)

  • For the problems in executing rural development, recent recognitions are that discovery, preservation, and utilization of area-unique resource are unsatisfactory, that participation of local residents was neglected, and that approach to gradual refurbishment of houses and common space of town in consideration of existing spatial pattern of the town was not adequate. Especially, neglect for exact investigation, analysis and evaluation on rural local resources is bringing about social problems such as mass production of uniform rural area and loss of local identity. In this study, rural resources were listed and resource evaluation items was designed in order to establish development direction of rural village. According to these results, for the efficient and reasonable drive of the resource evaluation system, following items are required; A premise of local development by participation of local people, Development of diversely appliable resource evaluation clauses, Establishment of development type in connection with resource evaluation clauses, Systematic management of local resource through spreading DB resource. This research was loused on unearthing direction development of rural village and theme. However, what should be reconsidered through continuous study is that resource evaluation clauses are somewhat general and not concretely illustrated. Therefore establishment of characterized development is expected through clarifying local identity and presenting direction of local development, with the importance of resource and systematic analysis in planning on rural village in the future.

임진왜란이후 밀양도호부 읍성의 공간구조 변화 (Change of Miryang-Dohobu Eupseong(Town-castle)'s Spatial Structure Since Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592)

  • Compared to Early Chosun Dynasty, the spatial structure of most local Eupseongs of Korea had a standardized change with the expansion and spread of the Rye-hak(禮學:a study of confucius Rite). Meanwhile in the process of rebuilding Eupseongs there was a tendency of relocation of the local government offices(官衙) and its attached facilities in terms of functions and use. Although it was PyeongSanseong Miryang Eupseong had an unreasonable spatial structure locating Gaeksa(客舍; accommodation house for visitors) in the middle of the local government office complex, and Dongheon(東軒;main office building) in the east of it before the Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592. However with the reorganization of spatial Structure of local Eupseongs after the Japanese invasion Gaeksa was moved to the foot of Adongsan where commanded a fine view of river. Dongheon was moved to the center of Eupseong for the effective management of its auxiliary organizations. It was because road system and administrative efficiency had a serious effect on deciding the location of the local government office and its attached facilities. After the Japanese invasion Hyangchoeng(鄕廳), having been out of Eupseong, also was moved to the independent location within Eupseong separate from Dongheon and Gaeksa. It seemed to take into account the autonomy of Hyangchoeng. Dongheon, Gaeksa, and Hyangchoeng which are the crucial facilities of Milyang Eupseong were arranged at each angular point of big triangle. In order to enhance the administative efficiency, the attached administrative facilities were arranged surrounding Dongheon and Hyangchoeng. The spatial structure of Milyang Eupseong in the late Choseon dynasty was of great difference from that of uniformly organized system of early Choseon Period. It was because the development of administrative function, the pursuit of efficiency, and commercial progress had a great impact on the change of urban space.

수업설계론과 수업구조화 - 일본 고등학교 도시단원을 사례로 - (The theory of lesson plannig and the instructional structuration : A case study for urban units in Japanese high school)

  • 본 연구에서는 고등학교 지리수업이 안고 있는 대학입시 지도와의 관련성, 기초개 념의 중복성, 수업시간의 제한 등 세가지 문제점을 해결하기 위해 수업을 구조화하여 고등 사고 기능을 기를 수 있는 수업을 설계하고자 하였다. 그러기 위해서 행동이론과 구조분석 을 통합한 지리수업 설계에 대하여 단계적으로 다음과 같이 정리해 볼 수 있다. 우선, 제 1 단계로서, 학습자는 경험적인 현상의 기술인 자료를 조사하고, 과학자의 시점에 따라서 객관 성과 정확성을 유지하면서, 가설-검증의 과정을 통하여 說明的 知識에 이른다, 제 2단계에 서는, 추론적인 진술에 대한 비판적 사고를 통하여 공간구조를 분석하는 것으로 槪念的 知 識을 이론적으로 설명한다. 제 3단계에서는, 지역주민의 행위를 둘러싸고 있는 상황을 파악 하기 위해 자료를 비판적으로 다시 검토하여 사회 제도 간의 관계까지 實踐的 解釋에 이른 다. 제4단계로서는, 정보를 활용하는 능력을 기르기 위해 事例地域 學習에 대해 주체적으로 참여한다. 따라서, 행동이론과 구조분석의 통합을 통한 지리수업의 설계에서 본다면, 수업이 구조화되고 실증론에 대한 인식론적 입장에서 전개될 것이다.

The Distribution of New Town Development Paradigm against COVID-19: Lessons and Prospects

  • Purpose: This article aims to explore the new town development paradigm against infectious diseases. The distribution of COVID-19 constricts economic activity. The high frequency of outbreaks of COVID-19 nationwide is due to neither malnutrition nor unhygienic environment. Research design, data and methodology: The research question starts with the idea that understanding the features of the outbreak of pandemic diseases could help public health authorities to better cope with upcoming risks in the future. We have employed a big data-based methodology to explore the outbreak of pandemic diseases. Also, an idiographic approach is used to describe the distribution of new towns against COVID-19. Results: The results demonstrate that the rapid spread of COVID-19 has had a strong impact on regional economies and urban development. It was found that there is a close relationship between infectious diseases outbreaks and new town development. Conclusions: The findings could be used to deal with new town development against infectious diseases better in other cities or countries as well. The distribution of COVID-19 may become an unexpected opportunity for a paradigm shift in the distribution of new town development to prevent not only an excessive concentration in Seoul, but also an imbalance between national and local development.

서울시 대학가 활성화 계획과정의 파트너십 연구 - 한양대학교 대학가 환경정비형 지구단위계획 및 담장개방녹화사업 중심으로 - (A Study on the Partnership for Activating of University Town in Seoul - Focused on Campus Fence Afforestation Project and the District Unit Plan for Renovating Campus Town Streets of Hanyang University -)

  • Because the university campuses in Seoul have changed to the urban campus type that the boundary of the campus is close to the urban tissue, the relationship between local societies and universities has got more important than before. Recently, through the support of Seoul metropolitan government, some projects for activating campus towns in Seoul have been proceeded. There are two distinctive projects. One is the campus fence afforestation project, and another is the district unit plan for the physical environment improvement of commercial streets around the campus in Seoul. The goal of this study is to analyze the government-university-community partnership for implementation of these two projects related to the model projects and the Hanyang university campus town as the exemplary government-university-community partnership, and to make practical application of other campus town projects to need the harmonious partnership between university neighborhoods and universities.

인천 경제자유구역이 인천시 자치구(군)간 지역불균형에 미치는 영향분석 (The Impact of the Incheon Free Economic Zones on Regional Disparities in Incheon)

  • 인천 경제자유구역은 2003년 우리나라에서 처음 지정된 경제자유구역으로서, 3개 지구 즉, 송도, 청라, 영종지구를 포함한다. 기존연구에서는 경제자유구역에 대해 국가경제적인 차원에서의 경제자유구역 활성화 방안이나 외자투자유치 문제점 등이 주요 논점으로 연구되었다. 그러나 경제자유구역 개발로 인한 지역경제와의 연관성이나 배후지와의 연계발전, 지역균형발전 등의 관점에서의 연구는 현재까지 미비한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 인천 경제자유구역 법률제정(2003년)을 기점으로 전기(1996~2002년)와 후기(2003~2009년) 총 14년 동안의 인천시 자치구(군)간의 지역불균형의 원인과 특성을 분석하여 인천 경제자유구역이 인천시 지역불균형에 미치는 영향을 연구하고자 하였다. 그 결과 인천 경제자유구역 개발이 지역경제 활성화와 구도심 파급효과로 연결되지 못하고 있음을 알 수 있었으며, 경제자유구역 내 대규모 아파트건설이나 기반시설건설은 구도심과의 불균형을 더욱 커지게 하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다.

  • This report is that the scenery of the town with a different measure is different. There are the framework and the story in the rural communities master plan . This master plan's story intends the self-help and living with meaning of citizens in own city and town. It is the philosophy of the master plan that citizens' daily bread is the local resourses, lives in safety and keeps the healthy living. But these contents are the different means by the condition of each cities' and towns' geography. The scenery of introducing two towns appears to each different plan by different conditions.

말레이시아 신도시 주거단지 개발 경향 연구 (A Study on the Trend of New Town Planning of Malaysia)

  • The post-war period has witnessed the emergence of new towns in a number of countries in Southeast Asia. The new town development in Malaysia started with Petaling Jaya (PJ) as a satellite town in 1953 to accommodate the rapid growing population of Kuala Lumpur (KL). Shah Alam (SA), Subang Jaya (SJ) are all located in the Klang Valley and act as an important social and economic development hub in the nation. New towns have been designed in accordance with the British town planning principles, which were based on the model of a modern ideal city. They constituted a new regional character because they were developed taking into consideration factors such as local technologies as well as site and, climatic conditions. The initial goal of the new town construction and planning, which focused basically on resettling squatters, was later changed to focus on the improvement of the quality of living. This phenomenon was related to the emergence of the middle class, which had grown rapidly ever since. With the public agencies, the private sectors have played an important role in providing viable and sustainable human units of settlement that address the new design issues of new town planning. The goal of this study is to identify the identity of the recent new town planning principles of Malaysia, how they were developed over time and how they were regionalized and transformed in a cultural and regional context. For the analysis, we chose 3 new towns which are located in Klang Valley and which are representative recent projects of two major housing development companies in Malaysia. To identify the planning principles, we analyzed these projects in the viewpoint of the urban space, street system, and housing blocks and units.

  • 신도시개발 사업은 다양한 공종들이 복합적으로 진행되는 사업으로서 그 규모와 파급효과가 매우 큰 사업이다. 최근 국내 신도시개발 시장은 그 규모가 점차 줄어드는 반면 해외 신도시개발 시장은 투자개발형 사업을 위주로 크게 증가하고 있는 실정이며 이러한 상황 속에서 국내 신도시개발 공기업은 지난 30여 년간 국내에서 쌓은 충분한 경험을 바탕으로 해외 신도시시장에 진출할 필요성이 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 포커스그룹 인터뷰를 통하여 국내 공기업의 해외 신도시시장 진출과정에서 고려되어야할 핵심요소들을 도출하였으며 중요도성과분석과 내용분석을 통한 설문분석을 바탕으로 신도시개발 공기업의 현황을 파악하고 해외사업진출 가능성을 파악하였다.
