로컬호텔과 체인호텔 종사자의 직무만족, 이직의도, 조직몰입에 관한 연구 (The Study on Job Satisfaction, Turnover Intention and Organization Commitment of Employees in Domestic Independent Hotel and International Chain Hotels)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the job satisfaction, turnover intention and organization commitment level of hotel employees using Herzberg's motivation hygiene theory. This study used SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 20.0 to conduct frequency analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, path analysis and chi-square difference test. The results of study, first of all, Herzberg's, theory of hygiene are influenced by satisfaction of employees, organization commitment and turnover intention. It will be strongly needed to management of compensation, well-organized policy of human resources system. Lastly, in Hotel business, It showed differences having a strong influence on local employee and chain hotel employee according to method of Hotel management. In conclusion, in the hospitality industry, it is desirable to carry out on their own ways of vision and purpose each corporations rather than following regimental rules.

한국 정맥주사간호사의 업무수행도, 조직지원인식 및 개인대처자원이 직무만족에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Work Performance, Perceived Organizational Support and Personal Coping Resources on Job Satisfaction among Infusion Nurses in Korea)

  • Purpose: This study is a descriptive study to explore the effects of work performance, perceived organization support, and personal coping resources on job satisfaction of infusion nurses in Korea. Methods: The participants of this study were 155 infusion nurses in 19 general hospitals and advanced general hospitals in Korea. Data were collected from January to March 2018 using a structured questionnaire and analyzed with the SPSS software version 23. Results: The participants' job satisfaction score was 3.01, their work performance score was 3.60, their perceived organization support score was 2.83, and their personal coping resources score was 3.53. The regression model for job satisfaction was significant (F=56.10, p<.001), and the total explanatory power was 52%. The variables affecting job satisfaction were personal coping resources (${\beta}=.44$, p<.001), perceived organization support (${\beta}=.42$, p<.001), and working locations (${\beta}=.13$, p=.028). Conclusion: To increase job satisfaction of infusion nurses, boosting strategies for personal coping resources, perceived organization support, and examination of work performance characteristics of each local area should be considered. In addition, development of customized programs is needed, focusing on infusion nurse personnel and job characteristics.

Somatodendritic organization of pacemaker activity in midbrain dopamine neurons

  • The slow and regular pacemaking activity of midbrain dopamine (DA) neurons requires proper spatial organization of the excitable elements between the soma and dendritic compartments, but the somatodendritic organization is not clear. Here, we show that the dynamic interaction between the soma and multiple proximal dendritic compartments (PDCs) generates the slow pacemaking activity in DA neurons. In multipolar DA neurons, spontaneous action potentials (sAPs) consistently originate from the axon-bearing dendrite. However, when the axon initial segment was disabled, sAPs emerge randomly from various primary PDCs, indicating that multiple PDCs drive pacemaking. Ca2+ measurements and local stimulation/perturbation experiments suggest that the soma serves as a stably-oscillating inertial compartment, while multiple PDCs exhibit stochastic fluctuations and high excitability. Despite the stochastic and excitable nature of PDCs, their activities are balanced by the large centrally-connected inertial soma, resulting in the slow synchronized pacemaking rhythm. Furthermore, our electrophysiological experiments indicate that the soma and PDCs, with distinct characteristics, play different roles in glutamate-induced burst-pause firing patterns. Excitable PDCs mediate excitatory burst responses to glutamate, while the large inertial soma determines inhibitory pause responses to glutamate. Therefore, we could conclude that this somatodendritic organization serves as a common foundation for both pacemaker activity and evoked firing patterns in midbrain DA neurons.

A Heuristic Algorithm to Find All Normalized Local Alignments Above Threshold

  • Local alignment is an important task in molecular biology to see if two sequences contain regions that are similar. The most popular approach to local alignment is the use of dynamic programming due to Smith and Waterman, but the alignment reported by the Smith-Waterman algorithm has some undesirable properties. The recent approach to fix these problems is to use the notion of normalized scores for local alignments by Arslan, Egecioglu and Pevzner. In this paper we consider the problem of finding all local alignments whose normalized scores are above a given threshold, and present a fast heuristic algorithm. Our algorithm is 180-330 times faster than Arslan et al.'s for sequences of length about 120 kbp and about 40-50 times faster for sequences of length about 30 kbp.

Mobilizing Voluntary Organizations in Taiwanese Emergency Response: Citizen Engagement and Local Fire Branch Heads

  • This article assesses factors that affect the ability of local fire branch heads in Taiwan to mobilize volunteer organizations in local emergency responses. Data from a survey of local fire branch heads in Taiwan is analyzed by using an OLS model to test three hypotheses regarding the relationship between the dependent variable, perceived ability to mobilize volunteer organizations in emergency response, and three explanatory variables: organizational capacity, quality of communication, and the quality of citizen engagement ex-ante to emergency response. The model indicates a positive relationship between the ability to mobilize volunteer organizations in emergency response, the quality of communications, and the quality of citizen engagement in preparedness. The research suggests that local fire branch heads and volunteer organizations should begin the process of emergency response mobilization in the preparedness stage. The quality of the citizen engagement in preparedness stages should increase the ability of local fire branch managers to mobilize external resources in emergency response.

지방재정 보전을 위한 정부제도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Local Equalization Scheme for Preservation of Local Government Finance)

  • 지방자치시대를 맞이하여 진정한 지방분권화를 이루기 위해서는 일정 행정 수준의 자주재정 확립이 보장되어야 한다. 현재 우리나라에서는 지방정부가 안고 있는 수직적 $\cdot$ 수평적 재정불균형 문제를 해소하며, 국가차원의 지역균형발전 및 행정의 효율성 및 효과성을 확보하기 위한 수단으로 지방재정조정제도를 시행하고 있다. 지방재정조정제도는 지역 간의 세원편재와 재정불균형의 시정을 통한 지방자치단체의 일정 행정 수준(national minimum standard)을 확보할 수 있도록 재원을 보장해주며 합리적이고 효율적인 제도 운영이 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 지방재정조정제도의 두 가지 수단인 지방교부세와 국고보조금에 대하여 알아보고 재정력이 취약한 자치단체의 재정형평성에 기여할 수 있는 개선방안을 제시하였다. 지방교부세와 국고보조금의 배분방식과 운영형태 등을 조정하여 형평성 원칙에 맞게 운영해 나가야 할 것이다.

지역사회 중심 평생학습운동의 추진방향 탐색: 외국의 평생학습운동 사례를 중심으로 (A Probe for Local Community Centered Lifelong Learning Movement's Course of Action)

  • As we encounter the global and localized era, the development operations on a regional level are in active promotion. This manuscript has been completed with the purpose of probing for course of action in lifelong learning movement in terms of activating and developing of local communities. For this, the comparative analysis of practiced cases in America's community school movement, Japan's movement for establishing lifelong learning village and Sweden's study circle movement have been made. For the analytical frame of the comparison, the actual results on background of promotion, themes for practice, details of practice, methods for practice of local community centered lifelong learning movement have been applied. As a result of analysis, the local community centered lifelong learning movement has been promoted to break each country's social and economic crisis and to activate the local community. The promotion of each operation has been accomplished with the support of specific organization and the participants were the citizens of the local community. Also, the details of practice are composed of operating the people-centered lifelong learning program, cooperative learning by local citizens and local community realization activity. The details of education is closely related with the life of learners. Therefore, the lifelong movement for the activation of local community hereafter should be promoted based on the coherence of local community, should be able to contain the actual life of the citizens and should be practiced as a process of forming the lifelong learning group at concerned local community through a democratic learning process.

농공지구 입지분석 : 전라북도의 경우 (Locational Analysis of Rural Industrial Estates and Chonbuk Economic Development Strategies)

  • This research examines the spatial development of rural industrial estates (Nong-gong Jigu) in Chonbuk province and gives insight into the strategies for economic development in the entire region. Selected location factors which are likely to pull new investment into the estates are examined by using questionnaires. Few loction factors except nonlocal factors can be found in explaining why location choices are made. The irrelevance of the analysis based on location factors suggests that an alternative approach should analyze changes in the spatial development of the rural industrial estates. Such an alternative is to understand the dynamics of the spatial organization of production by focusing on characteistics of plant closing in the rural industrial estates. To take into account of the characteristics of plant closing we provide the hypothesized relationships between employment size, organizational structure, inter and intra industrial linkage, characteristics of production processes, and availability of local labor market and the likelihood of closing. A logit model is then made to identify the selected factors which might influence the probability of plant closing. The results from the logit analysis and their implications suggest that the policy should be more concerned with the characteristics of firms, such as size and ownership, as well as of the local labor markets. Given that the Chonbuk region has experienced rapid population decline, together with its poor industrial base, it seems that the success of the policy in the declined rural areas in less certain.

19세기 동래부(東萊府)의 관사영선(官舍營繕)에 관한 연구(硏究) (A study on the construction of government office in Dongnaebu at 19c)

  • This study is on the construction of government office of Dongnaebu through researching the construction reports and historical documents in 19century. Especially it focuses on the local construction system and operation for the government office. Main contents of the study are 1) Scope and process of construction, 2) Architectural administration and official notes, 3) Organization of participants and the feature, 4) Felling trees and transport, 5) Monetary of construction The results are summarized as follows. 1) Repair office customary were the courtesy new provincial man. Government building were inspected and repaired periodically. 2) Administrative system of construction have been operated. There are official notes which are about application, permition and order, concerned works such as logging at the bongsan, means of transport, paying wages and progressing works. 3) Organization of construction was made up of an officer and sangnee to supervise and supply. 4) Due to financial difficulty, local government reserved and appropriated funds with moneylending for building office.

도서관자동화와 자동화에 의한 영향 (Library automation and its impact on library)

  • This paper consists of three chapters. Changes and objectives of library automation are discussed in chapter 1 and 2 respectively. The dominant trends in library automation which begun in 1960's can be described ; the 1960's was dominated by primitive local systems and the 1970's by online networks. And in the 1980's, there is a return to local system but with various options to networks. The major objectives of library automation are to improve speed of technical process, to get economic efficiency, and to provide better services. But the library planning automation should take account of experiences of the others that those objectives are not easily achieved. The impact of automation on a library is discussed in chapter 3. First, emphasis of libraries shifts from a collection orientation to an access orientation. Computer allowed to access not only to materials of their own library but also to those of others. Second, libraries should reconsider all their activities and services. Those must be reorganized by several principles such as rationalization, intelligent use of automation, and maximizing of human self-fulfillment. Third, change on organizational structure is anticipated. Flat organization in stead of existing hierarchy will provide rapid communication for problem - solving and intensify professionalism. Machine with proper capabilities and well programed software are prerequisites for library automation. But beyond these prerequisites, human factor should be stressed as well as mechanical factor. Therefore, understanding of changes due to automation, aggressive acceptance of trend, and su n.0, pport of organization are required in order to get successful results.
