Local Area Network is a rapidly developing area of interst and activity in the computer field. A.J. Thurber has classified the LAN with 7 categories. We choose two example system among these categories, such as Distributed Computer Network(DCN) and Labolink. In this paper, We propose the Local Area Network of Jeonbuk National University according to the choosen two example.

A local area network (LAN) is a computer network within a small geographical area such as a home, school, computer laboratory, office building or group of buildings. A LAN is composed of interconnected workstations and personal computers which are each capable of accessing and sharing data and devices, such as printers, scanners and data storage devices, anywhere on the LAN. LANs are characterized by higher communication and data transfer rates and the lack of any need for leased communication lines. Communication between remote parties can be achieved through a process called Networking, involving the connection of computers, media and networking devices. When we talk about networks, we need to keep in mind three concepts, distributed processing, network criteria and network structure. The purpose of this Network is to design a Local Area Network (LAN) for a BAEC (Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission) Head Quarter and implement security measures to protect network resources and system services. To do so, we will deal with the physical and logical design of a LAN. The goal of this Network is to examine of the Local Area Network set up for a BAEC HQ and build a secure LAN system.

차량 내부의 다양한 전자장치를 연결하는 차량 내 통신(IVN: in-vehicle network)은 실시간성, 저잡음성, 고신뢰성, 고유연성 등이 필요하며 CAN(controller area network), CAN-FD(CAN flexible data rate), FlexRay, LIN(local interconnect network), SENT(single edge nibble transmission), PSI5(peripheral sensor interface 5) 등 다양한 기술이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이들 기술의 동작 원리에 대해 살펴보고 각 기술의 적용 대상과 장단점에 대해 설명한다.

무선 통신망의 데이터를 보호하기 위한 암호화의 방법 및 비밀 통신을 위한 인중 메카니즘에 대한 방법을 제안하였다. 무선 통신망의 경우 기존의 유선망에 비해, 설치, 이동성 등이 우수하여 많은 기술적인 발전을 보이고 있다. 따라서 이에 대한 데이터의 보호에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 가정, 사무실, 건물과 같은 전형적인 외부 환경에 대해 정보를 보호할 수 있는 시스템의 구조를 설계하여 제안하였다.

인터넷의 활성화와 인트라넷 구축을 통한 그룹웨어의 확산과 함께 LAM의 초고속화 기술이 급진적으로 발전되어 왔으며, 이러한 발전은 고품질의 실시간 서비스에 대한 사용자의 요구에 의해 새로운 형태의 통합네트워크 형태로 발전되어 가고 있다. 통합네트워크는 데이터, 음성 및 영상 응용 서비스가 함께 제공될 수 있는 통신망으로서 궁극적으로는 통합된 단일 네트워크 플랫폼으로 발전해 갈 것으로 보인다. 본 논문에서는 IP기반의 통합서비스를 제공하기 위하여 실질적인 GoS 제공 기술, 프로그래머블 스위치 네트워크 구조 기술과 통합 호 제어 처리 기술을 포함하는 차세대 통합 LAN에 관한 연구결과를 제시하고자 한다.

In this paper, I propose a new energy efficient clustering scheme to prolong the network lifetime by reducing energy consumption at the sensor node. It is possible that a node determines whether to participate in clustering with certain probability based on local density. This scheme is useful under the environment that sensor nodes are deployed unevenly within the sensing area. By adjusting the probability of participating in clustering dynamically with local density of nodes, the energy consumption of the network is reduced. So, the lifetime of the network is extended. In the region where nodes are densely deployed, it is possible to reduce the energy consumption of the network by limiting the number of node which is participated in clustering with probability which can be adjusted dynamically based on local density of the node. Through computer simulation, it is verified that the proposed scheme is more energy efficient than LEACH protocol under the environment where node are densely located in a specific area.
