콘크리트내 표면매입 보강된 FRP 판과 콘크리트 사이의 착-미끄러짐 관계 해석 (Analysis on the Interfacial Bond-Slip Relationship between ear Surface-Mounted FRP Plate and Concrete)

  • 이 연구는 표면매입 보강된 FRP 판과 콘크리트사이의 응력전달기구를 이론적으로 연구한 것으로서 이선형 부착모델을 이용하여 부착거동을 묘사하고 이를 실험 결과와 비교하여 신뢰성있는 해석방법을 제시하였다. 연구로부터, 표면매입된 FRP 판과 콘크리트사이의 계면특성을 고려한 미분방정식에 이선형 부착-미끄러짐 관계곡선을 사용하여 해석할 경우, 모델의 임계값인 최대전단강도와 미끄러짐 변위, 그리고 박락에 의한 연화거동이 시작될 때의 변위값 선정과정이 제시되었다. 또한 제안된 모델을 사용하여 부착길이가 다르게 보강된 표면매입 FRP 판의 미끄러짐 거동을 해석한 결과 실제 거동을 매우 근사하게 묘사할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • Constant slip frequency operation of linear infliction motor is essential for the stable levitation. Control scheme for the constant slip frequency with general purpose frequency inverter is proposed, Speed sensing scheme with proximitity switch for the speed feedback is also proposed. Optimal slip frequency, at which normal force is equal to 0, is selected by the experiment. This slip frequency is a comand to the controller. It shows good characteristic during acceleration and deceleration.

  • In this study, slip frequency control for a single-sided linear induction motor(SLIM) is discussed. We adopted variable slip frequency pattern in stead of constant slip frequency pattern under V/f constant mode, which is effective in improving driving efficiency of SLIM. And the dynamic characteristics are analyzed by using equivalent circuit during the accelerating time.

  • Constant slip frequency control has been conventionally used in thrust control of the linear induction motor(LIM) for magnetically levitated train. However in this paper variable slip frequency control method is presented to increase LIM efficiency according to change of driving notch. Thrust, attractive force, input power to inverter, regenerative power of the LIM are analyzed by finite element method when the train runs according to the presented control method. As a result it is proved experimentally that the electrical energy to inverter is reduced than the conventional method.

Yaw Rate 및 Side Slip Angle 추정을 위한 비선형 관측기 설계 (Design of Non-linear Observer to Estimate Yaw Rate and Sidel Slip Angle)

  • A non-linear vehicle model and an observer are designed to observe the yaw rate and the body side slip angle when a vehicle is turning maneuver in this study. The developed vehicle model is a full car model and has fourteen degree of freedom. A Luenberg observer is applied to develop the observer. The vehicle model is validated with a reference result and shows good accordance. The observer is tested on dry asphalt, wet asphalt and snow paved road. The results prove the performance of observer is robust and reliable.

Bond-slip effect in steel-concrete composite flexural members: Part 1 - Simplified numerical model

  • This paper introduces an improved numerical model which can consider the bond-slip effect in steel-concrete composite structures without taking double nodes to minimize the complexity in constructing a finite element model. On the basis of a linear partial interaction theory and the use of the bond link element, the slip behavior is defined and the equivalent modulus of elasticity and yield strength for steel is derived. A solution procedure to evaluate the slip behavior along the interface of the composite flexural members is also proposed. After constructing the transfer matrix relation at an element level, successive application of the constructed relation is conducted from the first element to the last element with the compatibility condition and equilibrium equations at each node. Finally, correlation studies between numerical results and experimental data are conducted with the objective of establishing the validity of the proposed numerical model.

유한요소법을 이용한 자기부상용 선형유도기의 운전 특성 분석법 (Analysis on Driving Performance of Linear Induction Motor for Maglev System by Finite Element Method)

  • 본 논문에서는 유한요소법을 사용하여 자기부상열차용 선형 유도 전동기의 효율적인 운전곡선 도출 방법을 제안한다. 긴 시간의 동특성 해석을 위해 선형유도기 모델을 선형에서 회전형 타입으로 변환하고, 제어시 필요한 슬립 파라미터를 전자장 해석을 통하여 효과적으로 도출하였다. 견인용 선형유도전동기는 인버터에 의해 저속의 정토크 영역에서는 전압/주파수 (V/f) 일정제어를 수행하고, 고속에서의 정출력 영역에서는 전압을 고정시키고 주파수를 증가시키면서 제어한다. 따라서 논문에서는 정토크 및 정출력 영역의 운전 특성을 도출하기 위해 각 구간에서 일정한 스텝으로 슬립특성 곡선을 도출하고, 차량의 운전 상태에 따른 슬립 및 주파수를 특성곡선의 보간법에 의해 결정한다. 본 방법을 이용하면 차량의 임의의 부하상태에 따라 최적의 운전 지령을 제시할 수 있다.

치과용 지르코니아 코어 가공후의 잔여물을 활용하여 주입성형법으로 제조한 소결체의 특성 (The Properties of Sintered Body by Using the Slip Casting Process with Remained Dental Zirconia Block after Machining)

  • Purpose: All ceramic crown, made from zirconia instead of metal for core material, is recognized the best esthetical prosthesis. Recently, high-priced zirconia blocks and expensive CAD/CAM machines come into use for making zirconia core. In this study, slip casting process is adapted to evaluate the possibility of the recycling the remained parts of zirconia block after machining. Methods: Remained zirconia blocks were reduced to powders with zirconia mortar, and screened with 180 mesh sieve. Passed powders were ball milled under various conditions to obtain the optimum zirconia slip for casting. Solid casting method was used for casting the specimens with plaster mold. Formed specimens were dried and biscuit fired at $1,000^{\circ}C$ for 1 hour. Biscuit fired specimens were finished with exact shape of square pillar. Finished specimens were fired from $1,200^{\circ}C$ to $1,550^{\circ}C$ at $50^{\circ}C$ intervals for 1 hour. Linear shrinkage, apparent porosity, water absorption, bulk density, and flexural strength were tested. Microstructures were observed by SEM. Results: Above examinations indicated that the optimum firing temperture was $1,500^{\circ}C$, and when fired at this temperature for 1 hour, apparent porosity was 0% and flexural strength was 680MPa. SEM photomicrographs showed uniform 200~300nm grain size, which is equal with microcture of sintered commercial zirconia block. when compare 24% linear shrinkage of cast specimen with 20% linear shrinkage of CAD/CAM machined block, it was estimated that the size controlling of cast core was not so difficult. Conclusion: According to the all of this experimental results, the cast zirconia core produced from the remained parts of zirconia block was possible to use for all ceramic denture.

Development of a Small Animal CT using a Linear Detector Array and Small-Scale Slip Rings

  • We have developed a small bore x-ray CT for small animal imaging with a linear x-ray detector array and small-scale slip rings. The linear x-ray detector array consists of 1024 elements of 400□m×400□m with a gadolinium oxysulfide (GOS) scintillator on top of them. To avoid use of expensive large diameter slip rings for projection data transmission from the X­ray detector to the image reconstruction system, we used the wireless LAN technology. The projection data are temporally stored in the data acquisition system residing on the rotating gantry during the scan and they are transmitted to the image reconstruction system after the scan. With the wireless LAN technology, we only needed to use small-scale slip rings to deliver the AC electric power to the X-ray generator and the power supply on the rotating gantry. The performances of the small animal CT system, such as SNR, contrast, and spatial resolution, have been evaluated through experiments using various phantoms. It has been experimentally found that the SNR is almost linearly proportional to the tube current and tube voltage, and the minimum resolvable contrast is less than 30 CT numbers at 40kVp/3.0㎃. The spatial resolution of the small animal CT system has been found to be about 0.9Ip/㎜. Postmortem images of a piglet is also presented.

사각용기에서 발생하는 고점성 유체의 슬로싱 유동 (Sloshing Flow of Highly-Viscous Fluid in a Rectangular Box)

  • A study on the sloshing flow of highly-viscous fluid in a rectangular box was made by both of theoretical approach and experimental visualization method. Assuming a smallness of external forcing to oscillate the container, it was investigated a linear sloshing flow of highly-viscous fluid utilizing asymptotic analysis by Taylor-series expansion as a small parameter Re (≪1) in which Re denotes Reynolds number. The theory predict that, during all cycles of sloshing, a linear shape of free surface will prevail in a bulk zone and it has confirmed in experiment. The relevance of perfect slip boundary condition, adopted in theoretical approach, to the bulk zone flow at the container wall was tested in experiment. It is found that quasi-steady coated thin film, which makes a lubricant layer between bulk flow and solid wall, is generated on the wall and the film makes a role to perfect slip boundary condition.
