연약지반 다수의 터널 병렬시공 시 기존터널의 거동 (The Behaviours of Existing Tunnels in response to Multiple side-by-side Tunnel Construction in Soft Ground)

  • 본 논문은 연약지반에서 복수의 신규터널 시공을 모사하기 위해 실시된 모형실험 과정 및 결과에 대해 기술한다. 새로운 터널이 기존터널에 근접하여 시공될 때 기존터널의 거동을 조사하기 위해 1/50의 상사율로 모형실험이 실시되었다. 모형 터널은 압밀된 Speswhite Kaolin 점토에 시공되었으며, 오거 형상 굴착기와 실드로 구성된 터널굴착 장비가 사용되었다. 기존터널의 거동 계측을 위해 스트레인 게이지와 변형계가 사용되었다. 모형시험 분석 결과는 영국 Old Street 런던 지하철 Northern Line 확장공사 현장계측 결과와 비교되었다. 또한, 모형시험 결과는 동일한 실험기구 및 실험방법이 사용된 별도의 모형실험에서 계측된 지반변형 데이터와도 비교되었다.

감마카메라 영상에서 분해능 향상을 위한 Xact-bone의 유용성 평가 (Usefulness of Xact-bone for the Resolution Advancement of Gamma Camera Image)

  • 현재 분해능 향상을 위한 프로그램인 Wide beam reconstruction (WBR: UltraSPECT, Israel) 을 사용하고 있다. WBR에 속해있는 Xact-Bone은 Planar영상과 Single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) 영상의 분해능과 대조도를 향상시켜 상당한 영상의 질 향상에 도움을 준다고 보고 되어있다. 본 연구는 Xact-Bone의 임상적용에 대한 유용성을 알아보고자 한다. Xact-Bone에서의 유용성 평가는 분해능 평가와 Contrast Ratio를 비교분석하였다. Planar영상에서의 분해능 평가는 capillary tube를 이용하여 Full width at half maximum (FWHM)을 구하였고, Contrast Ratio분석은 2010년 1월부터 2010년 10월까지 bone scan 검사를 위해 본원에 내원한 50명의 환자 Xact-Bone의 사용 전 후 영상에서 Bone and Soft tissue (B/S) ratio 값을 비교 평가하였다. SPECT영상에서의 분해능 평가는 Triple Line Source Phantom을 이용하여 FWHM을 구하였고, Contrast Ratio 비교 분석은 NEMA IEC Body Phantom과 Standard Jaszczak Phantom을 이용하여 획득한 영상을 각각 Filtered backprojection (FBP), Orderd subset expectation maximization (OSEM), Xact-Bone으로 재구성하여 비교하였다. Planar영상에서의 유용성 평가는 capillary tube를 이용한 실험결과, FWHM은 기존의 Planar영상보다 WBR의 Xact-Bone 프로그램을 이용한 재구성 영상에서 약 20% 향상되었으며, B/S ratio값도 약 15% 향상되었다. SPECT영상의 유용성 평가는 Triple line Source Phantom을 이용한 실험결과, FWHM은 Xact-Bone이 FBP, OSEM 기법보다 각각 20%, 10% 향상되었다. 또한 NEMA IEC body Phantom을 이용한 Contrast Ratio 비교분석결과 각각 20%, 10% 향상되었고, Standard Jaszczak Phantom을 이용한 Contrast Ratio 비교분석 결과는 각각 90%, 50% 향상되었다. WBR의 Xact-bone 프로그램을 이용한 Planar 영상에서는 사용하지 않은 경우와 비교하였을 경우 상당한 영상의 분해능과 Contrast Ratio가 향상됨을 알 수 있었고, SPECT영상에서 기존의 FBP, OSEM 영상재구성 방법보다 분해능, Contrast Ratio가 향상됨을 알 수 있었다. 이에 WBR의 Xact-Bone을 이용함으로써 영상의 질적 향상이 기대되는 바이다. 하지만, 새로운 소프트웨어 도입시 병원의 특성에 맞는 protocol 과 임상적용이 필요하다고 사료된다.

Uncertainty Observer using the Radial Basis Function Networks for Induction Motor Control

  • A stable adaptive sensorless speed controller for three-level inverter fed induction motor direct torque control (DTC) system using the radial-basis function network (RBFN) is presented in this paper. Torque ripple in the DTC system for high power induction motor could be drastically reduced with the foregoing researches of switching voltage selection and torque ripple reduction algorithms. However, speed control performance is still influenced by the inherent uncertainty of the system such as parametric uncertainty, external load disturbances and unmodeled dynamics, and its exact mathematical model is much difficult to be obtained due to their strong nonlinearity. In this paper, the inherent uncertainty is approximated on-line by the RBFN, and an additional robust control term is introduced to compensate for the reconstruction error of the RBFN instead of the rich number of rules and additional updated parameters. Control law for stabilizing the system and adaptive laws for updating both of weights in the RBFN and a bounding constant are established so that the whole closed-loop system is stable in the sense of Lyapunov, and the stability proof of the whole control system is presented. Computer simulations as well as experimental results are presented to show the validity and effectiveness of the proposed system.

사국(四國)산촌의 은거옥(隱居屋)의 특성에 관한 조사연구 -일본 덕도현(德島縣) 동조곡산촌(東祖谷山村) 낙합지구(落合地區)를 중심으로- (Survey Research Regarding the characteristic of the Retirement House in Mountain Village of Shikoku - Focusing on Ochiai area in Higashiiyayama-son in Tokushima Prefecture of Japan)

  • This research is the survey result of the retirement house in Ochiai area that is a famous as mountain village of Japan. This area is being formed in a steep slope and be arranged the building long a side along the contour line. As for the plan type of a main house 'the middle bedroom three-madori(bay) type' and 'the parallel two madori(bay) type' occupy many. As for in the retirement custom of Ochiai area the independence family style (separation/ separate meal/separate household economy) is a principle and a parents family builds the retirement house and move out. The plan. of the retirement house is two-room type of 'Omote(public room) and Uchi(kitchen and living room)' and agree with the plane prototype 'plan constitution of a necessary minimum' of farmhouse of this area. The reconstruction that the retirement house is remodeled handily with a main home, especially intend the convenience of the life such as a kitchen and toilet has been done. The retirement custom has been succeeded thoroughly until recent years in this area. However, this traditional custom is seeing the end, without there is the successor of a main house with depopulation.

Characteristics of Gynecologic Oncology Patients in King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital - Complications and Outcome of Pelvic Exenteration

  • Background: Pelvic exenteration is a procedure which includes enbloc resection of pelvic organs followed by surgical reconstruction. Aims include both cure and palliation but data for pelvic exenteration in Thailand are very limited. Objective: This study was conducted to evaluate characteristics of patients, operative procedure outcomes and complications. Materials and Methods: This retrospective review covered all of the charts of exenteration patients during January 2002 to December 2011. Baseline characteristic of the patients were collected as well as details of clinical results. Results: A total of 13 cases of pelvic exenteration were included. Most underwent total pelvic exenteration (9 cases) and the remainder posterior and anterior exenteration. Their primary cancers were ovarian, cervical and vulva. Mean operative time was 532 minutes (SD 160.2, range 270-750) and estimated blood loss was 2830 ml (1850, 1000-8000). Mean tumor size was 7.33 cm (3.75, 4-15). Mean hospital stay was 35.2 days (29.8, 13-109). The most common post operative complication was urinary tract infection. Overall disease free survival with a negative surgical margin was significantly better than in positive surgical margin patients (p=0.014). Conclusions: Surgical margin was the most significant prognostic factor for disease free survival, in line with earlier studies.

경부에 재발한 투명세포땀샘종의 치료에 대한 증례 보고 (A Treatment of Recurrent Clear Cell Hidradenoma on the Neck: A Case Report)

  • Clear cell hidradenoma is a skin adnexal tumor originating from eccrine glands. The risk of local recurrence after surgical resection exceeds 50%, and 6-19% of cases are malignant. The rarity of clear cell hidradenoma and its diverse histological findings make this type of tumor a diagnostic challenge. We present a case of recurrent clear cell hidradenoma of the posterior neck in a 70-year-old woman. The tumor recurred once after complete excision, and did not recur again after 1-cm wide excision and reconstruction with a local bilobed flap. Recurrent clear cell hidradenomas are activated by surgical stimulation, increasing the risk for metastasis. Therefore, we suggest that wide excision with confirmation of a tumor-free margin by frozen-section biopsy should be the first-line treatment for recurrent benign clear cell hidradenoma.

Active Control of a High-Speed Pantograph using LQ-Servo Controller

  • The high investment is necessary for the new high speed lines. So the KRRI was interested in the possibility of upgrading the existing line in order to speed up the train in the conventional lines. The tilting train system has been developed because the reconstruction of railway for the cant compensation costs very high. The purpose of the tilting system is to compensate the centrifugal acceleration in order to reduce the lateral acceleration of the passenger at high speed on the curves.The pantograph of the tilting train is indispensable in order to supply the electrification equipments with power in safe. The dynamic interaction between the pantograph and the overhead catenary system causes the variation of the contact force and the contact force variation can cause contact losses, arcing and sparking. If the spark happens between the pantograph and the overhead catenary system, the EMI(electro magnetic interface) and noises may occur. After all, the quality of current collection is deteriorated. This paper deals with the active control of pantograph and presents the LQ-servo controller to reduce the contact force variation.

포항 지진과 일본 지진관리 업무 비교·분석 (Comparative Analysis of Earthquake Management in Pohang and Japan)

  • This study aims to create a disaster management system after an earthquake. Japan's earthquake disaster management system, including the Disaster Countermeasures Basic Act, addresses all of the disaster phases of prevention, mitigation, preparedness and emergency response as well as recovery and reconstruction with roles and responsibilities among the national and local governments clearly defined. Korea's earthquake disaster management system are including the Disaster Countermeasures Basic, but when the 9.12 earthquake occurred, problems such as insufficient early response, study on the earthquake lack were revealed. This study conducted a field survey and analyzed coping process after Po Hang earthquake. Therefore, this study have found that Disaster Management Headquarters are operated rapidly. They are coped with urgent safety inspection for damage facilities and soil liquefaction with advanced equipment. And The headquarters interviewed with victims. So they found out What the victims needed. However, when carrying out relief activities, Research of temporary housing and allocation of donations was not rapid. Further, this study have found that earthquake specialists were lack and disaster information transfer was not working. This study will be utilized as fundamental data in planning disaster management system after an earthquake.

웨이브릿 변환을 기반으로 한 심자도 신호의 국소 적응잡음제거 (Local Adaptive Noise Cancellation for MCG Signals Based on Wavelet Transform)

  • Magneto-cardiogram(MCG) signals may be highly distorted by the environmental noise, such as power-line interference, broadband white noise, surrounding magnetic noise, and baseline wondering. Several kinds of digital filters and noise cancellation methods have been designed and realized by many researchers, but these methods gave some problems that the original signal may be distorted by digital filter due to the wideband characteristics of background noise. To eliminate noise effectively without distortion of MCG signals, we performed multi-level frequency decomposition using wavelet packets and local adaptive noise cancellation in each local frequency range. In addition to the proposed wavelet filter to eliminate these various non-stationary noise elements, the local adaptive filter using the least mean square(LMS) algorithm and the soft threshold do-noising method are introduced in this paper. The signal to noise ratio(SNR) and the reconstruction square error(RSE) are calculated to evaluate the performance of the proposed method and compared with the results of the conventional wavelet filter and adaptive filter. The experimental results show that the proposed local adaptive filtering method is better than the conventional methods.

신경회로망을 이용한 등고선 데이터로부터 3차원 지형 복원 (Reconstruction of 3D Topography from Contour Line Data using Artificial Neural Networks)

  • 본 논문에서는 지리 정보로부터 3차원 지형 정보로 복원하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 자연스러운 3차원 지형의 표현을 위해 기존의 복원 알고리즘들은 삼각형 패치 기법이나 랜덤 프랙탈 중간점 변위기법들을 이용하여 복원하였다. 이와 같이 가우시안 분포를 사용한 랜덤 프랙탈 중간점 변위 방법으로 복원한 결과는 좌우대칭인 이미지에 대해서는 자연스럽게 표현되지만, 자연에 내재된 비대칭인 지형의 모습을 표현하기에는 어려움이 있었다. 좌우비대칭인 지형을 좀 더 자연스럽게 표현하기 위해 기존의 랜덤 프랙탈 중간점 변위 방법에 신경회로망을 이용하여 복원하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 신경회로망의 학습결과를 3차원 지형 복원에 이용함으로써 비정형적인 데이터가 갖는 통계적 특성을 활용한다. 제시된 알고리즘의 우수성은 복원된 결과의 근사도 평가로 보인다. 또한, 신경회로망 학습 결과를 이용하여 산악지형과 평탄지형에 대하여 실험하고 실험 결과 산악지형에 대한 적용 예가 더 효과적임을 보인다.
