SIMOX SOI 제조시 산소석출물의 거동과 전지적 특성에 미치는 영향 (Behavior of Oxygen Precipitates during SIMOX SOI Fabrication and Their Influences to the Electrical Property)

  • SIMOX SOI structures were formed by oxygen ion implantation with a dose of 2 1018 ions/cm2 at 180kev and post-implantation annealing at $1250^{\circ}C$ for 6 hours in nitrogen ambient. The oxygen redistribution process during post-implantation annealing was examined by AES and TEM. The electrical property of the structure was investigated by SRP method. We could find oxygen precipitates in SOI layer was discussed. And the limiting factor to the decrease of the precipitates during post-implantation annealing was discussed also.

  • For the fabrication of fault current limiting device using HTSC thick film, YBa$_2Cu_3O_x$ superconducting thick film was formed by surface diffusion process of the Y$_2BaCUO_5$ and the mixed compound of (3BaCuO$_2$+2CuO) expected to be liquid phase above the peritectic temperature of YBa$_2Cu_3O_x$. For the surface diffusion, the compounds of 3BaCuO$_2$+2CuO mixed with binder material was patterned on Y$_2BaCUO_5$ substrate by the screen printing method. After proper sintering, the characteristics of current limit on thick film fabricated was measured. The thick film was able to limit the current from 2.8213 mA$_{rms}$nu to 4.2034 mA$_{rms}$ with 500${\omega}$ load resistance, and from 4.1831 mA$_{rms}$ to 4.2150 mA$_{rms}$ with 10${\omega}$ load resistance.

절판형 응력제한 기구의 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Force Limiting Devices of Folded Plate Type)

  • 고층건축물의 수평변위 제어에 필요한 브레이스는 구조물의 경제성 확보를 위해 주로 새장한 부재를 설치하여 인장하중에 저항하도록 하는 경우가 많다. 하지만, 브레이스에 압축하증이 작용할 경우에는 부재가 하중에 저항하지 않는 부재로 상정하여 설계되고 있다. 이는 브레이스에 압축하중이 작용할 경우 부재의 탄성좌굴이 발생하게 되어 급격히 내하력을 잃어버리게 되기 때문이다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 많은 연구가 이루어져 왔으며, 그중 대표적인 것이 응력제한장치라 할 수 있다. 응력제한장치는 세장한 부재가 압축하중에 의해 탄성좌굴이 발생하기 전에 부재가 항복하여 안정적인 거동을 유도하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 응력제한장치로서 절판방식을 제안하고 실험과 유한요소 해석을 수행하였다. 실험은 절판단면의 경사각을 변수로 하여, FLD장치 및 FLD를 장착한 부재에 대한 압축실험 및 해석을 진행하였다. 그 결과 절판방식의 실험체는 항복 후 소성영역에서 내력의 큰 저하 없이 안정적인 거동을 나타내고 있어 응력제한방식으로서 유효함이 확인되었다.

  • 세장한 부재에 압축력이 작용할 때, 부재는 탄성좌굴이 발생하게 되어 급격히 내하력을 상실하고 파괴에 도달하게 된다. 이러한 현상으로 인한 부재의 파괴는 종국적으로 구조체에 위해를 가하게 되어 붕괴원인이 되기도 한다. 본 연구에서는 세장한 부재에 압축력이 작용할 경우 부재가 탄성좌굴이 발생하기 이전에 항복하도록 유도하는 장치(응력제한장치)를 개발하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 특히, 본 논문에서는 응력제한장치로서 면외저항판 방식을 제안하고 실험과 유한요소 해석을 수행하였다. 실험의 변수는 면외저항판의 두께 및 저항판의 경사도이다. 실험 및 해석결과 면외저항판 실험체는 항복후 소성영역에서 내력의 큰 저하없이 안정적인 거동을 나타내고 있어 응력제한방식으로서 유효성이 확인되었다.

단면절삭형 응력제한 장치의 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Force Limiting Devices of Cross-Section Cutting Types)

  • 본 연구에서는 세장한 부재가 압축력을 받을 경우 발생하는 횡좌굴에 의한 내력의 저하를 방지하기 위해, 좌굴 전에 항복을 유도하는 응력제한장치의 개발에 관한 것으로서, 기존의 면외저항방식 및 슬롯방식과는 상이한 단면절삭방식을 제안하고 그 유효성을 실험적, 해석적으로 규명하고 있다. 단면절삭방식은 단면의 절삭범위에 따라 역학적 특성 및 구조적 성능이 상이한 것으로서, 연구의 대상은 절삭의 폭 및 절삭개수를 주 대상으로 하고 있다. 연구결과, 단면 깊이가 같은 경우 단면 절삭폭의 영향은 나타나지 않았으며, 단면 절삭폭을 좁게, 절삭개수가 많을수록 소성영역에서 좀 더 안정적인 거동을 나타내었다. 따라서, 단면절삭을 이용한 응력제한 장치는 항복 후 안정된 이력거동을 나타내고 있어 응력제한 장치로서 그 유효성이 확인되었으며, 향후 실 구조물에의 적용이 가능하리라 판단된다.

Coordination between Voltage-Limiting Surge Protective Devices in Surge Currents Caused by Direct Lightning Flashes

  • This paper presents experimental results obtained from actual installation conditions of surge protective devices (SPDs), with the aim of understanding the coordination of cascaded Class I and Class II SPDs. This paper also proposes effective methods for selecting and installing coordinating cascaded SPDs. The residual voltage of each SPD and the energy sharing of an upstream Class I tested SPD and a downstream Class II tested SPD were measured using a $10/350{\mu}s$ current wave. In coordinating a cascaded voltage-limiting SPD system, it was found that energy coordination can be achieved as long as the downstream SPD is a metal oxide varistor with a higher maximum continuous operating voltage than the upstream SPD; however, it is not the optimal condition for the voltage protection level. If the varistor voltage of the downstream SPD is equal to or lower than that of the upstream SPD, the precise voltage protection level is obtained. However, this may cause serious problems with regard to energy sharing. The coordination for energy sharing and voltage protection level is fairly achieved when the cascaded SPD system consists of two voltage-limiting SPDs separated by 3 m and with the same varistor voltage.

  • This paper presents a method of simulating the protection effects of surge protective devices(SPDs) depending on the protective distance and types of input impedance of load to be protected. In order to analyze the protective performances of voltage-limiting type SPDs associated with the reflection and oscillation phenomena, the terminal voltage across load being protected and the residual voltage of SPDs were simulated by using EMTP model as functions of the protective distance and types of input impedance of loads. As a consequence, SPDs should be installed by taking into account the protective distance and input impedance of loads to achieve reliable protection of electrical and electronic equipment from lightning and switching surges. It is expected that the simulation method proposed in this paper could be practically used in design for installing SPDs in low-voltage distribution systems.

  • Superconducting fault current limiter(SFCL) is expected to be introduced into electric power system in future as an effective countermeasure for the increase of the short-circuit current due to the growth of the electric power system. SFCL has a merit that the fault current can be limited by the resistance generated when a superconductor transits from a superconducting state to a normal state without additional detecting device. In this paper, we investigated the resistance variance of resistive type SFCL and the fault current limiting characteristics due to the amplitude of source voltage. We could obtain the more effective fault current limiting characteristics of SFCL as the source voltage increased.

  • One of the major objectives in the developments of a progesterone I.U.D. is to prepare devices which release drug at a constant rate for extended periods. A constant release rate is achived by maintaining drug concentration at a constant valve via the introduction of rate limiting membrane to solute diffusion at the surface of the devices. In this study, progesterone dispersed at monolithic device were prepared from polyhydroxy ethyl methacrylate. Constant release rate were obtained with device which were soaked in on ethanol-hexan solution. The release rate was dependant upon the concentration of the ethanolic solution in the soaking solution. This devices offer significant potential for futher development of hydrogel in the intrauterine contraception device for controlled release of progesterone.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the architectural device for two places to be perceived as having distinct characteristics from each other. A residence of Yi Dynasty is selected as the object appropriate for this purpose and analyzed accordingly. The result of the analysis can be presented on two demensionis one is that of the concrete form and the other is that of the abstract meaning generated by the form. It is meaningless to employ the form of the architecture of the past in today's architecture. The language of the architecture of the past must be reinterpreted into that of tody. This means understanding and expressing the meaning of the architecture of the past, using the form and materials available today. Without limiting its scope to figuring out "the architectural device for giving destinction" on the formal demension. this study tries to clarify the meaning generated by the form, on which its significance can be said to lie.
