Recently great efforts and investment have been made in order to evaluate concrete durability by steel corrosion. But most of study is relatively or qualitatively estimated, therefore it has a great limitation in evaluating a remaining service life of concrete. In this research, steel corrosion rate was measured quantitatively by polarization resistance method and multi-regressed considering chloride, carbonation, coverage depth, relative humidity, W/C, and the use of deicing salts. And a half cell potential method was used at th same time for the purpose of comparing with polarization resistance method.

The continuous growth in the use of the World Wide Web is creating the data with very large scale and different types. Analyzing such data can help to determine the life time value of users, evaluate the effectiveness of web sites, and design marketing strategies and services. In this paper, we propose some analysis methods for web data and present an example of a prototypical web data analysis.

Life-threatening cardiac arrhythmia is a frequent complication of open heart surgery. There are many causes of postoperative cardiac arrhythmias. Electrolyte imbalance such as hypokalemia and acidemia are major causes of ventricular arrhythmias. Infrequently, however, antiarrhythmic agents and /or hypomagnesemia induce[s] a ventricular arrhythmia such as "torsade de pointes" by increasing the repolarization time of myocardium, Recently, we have experienced two cases of "Torsade de pointes" associated with hyp-omagnesemia after replacement of mitral valve and one of whom after use of procainamide. Intravenous infusion of magnesium immediately and successfully abolished the torsade de pointes in both cases.intes in both cases.

This paper intends to raise some of urban policy issues of managing and planning Seoul for the twenty first century. As one of the world's most dynamic megacities, Seoul is faced with at least two trends: one is globalization of the economy, and the other is humanization of urban development in relation to people's quality of life. Given this context, there are emerging issues in a time of transition as the following; pedestrianization, decline of city master plan, micro land use control, citizen involvement, metro-wide management, infrastructure provisions and maintenance, sustainable development, urban information sustaniable development, urban information system, and public-private partnership.

Arrhenius plots are useful in predicting long-term use temperatures of organic materials and in choosing parameters for accelerated aging. The effects of antioxidant on the heat resistance and temperature index of EPDM rubber used for electrical insulation were investigated. The short-time points were obtained by 50% retention of elongation at break.

As an alternative to traditional life testing, degradation tests can be effective in assessing product reliability when measurements of degradation leading to failure can be observed. This article presents an accelerated degradation testing for vacuum fluorescent displays (VFDs). The accelerated degradation model is based on Arrhenius-lifetime relationship for cathode temperatures. We compare the results between accelerated degradation test and test at normal use condition. Accelerated degradation test for display devices is observed as an efficient method to warrantee product reliability to customers, as well as a tool to save time and costs.

Y-form steel sleeper are currently enjoying a renaissance in Germany. Their use on ballast track proves that-especially under extreme conditions and loads-they reliably help ensure high stability and a long service life of the track. In addition to conventional partly mechanised tracklaying methods, a new Method has been developed that for the first time enables Y-form sleepers to be laid on an assembly-line basis at a fast rate and with high quality.

This paper presents the log likelihood function for integrated models for ALT such as exponential-general Eyring, Weibull-temperature and specific heat, lognormal-temperature and specific heat. Additionally this paper estimates the system reliability and mean time to failure(MTTF) for series, parallel, k of n, and standby system using ALT linkage parameter. Lastly this study designs three variable reliability acceptance sampling(RAS) plans such as type I, II censored test, sequential test by the use of integrated models for ALT.

목적 : 시설노인들의 시간 사용이 일상생활 수행 능력에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 이를 시설노인의 작업 중재 기법으로 시간 관리 및 라이프스타일 재설계의 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 연구방법 : 2008년 8월 11일부터 2008년 8월 22일까지 대전광역시에 소재한 S요양시설에 입소되어 있는 65세 이상의 노인 20명을 대상으로 인터뷰, 타임테이블, FIM을 사용하여 자료를 수집을 하였다. 결과 : 연구 대상자들의 일반적 특성과 일상생활수행능력에는 유의한 차이가 없었다. 능동적 기본적 일상생활활동과 수단적 일상생활활동의 시간 사용이 많을수록 일상생활수행능력은 높았다(p<0.01). 능동적 여가의 시간 사용량이 많을수록 일상생활수행능력은 높았다(p<0.05). 결론 : 본 연구를 통해 대전지역 시설 노인들의 시간 사용량을 알 수 있었고, 시설 노인들의 시간 사용량이 일상생활수행능력과 관련이 있음을 알 수 있었다. 시설 노인들의 시간 사용량의 효율성을 높이기 위해서 작업치료사의 역할이 요구되며 시설 노인들이 보다 능동적이며 긍정적인 삶을 유지할 수 있는 중재 방안을 마련해야 할 것이다.
