성인의 신체조건 및 생활습관에 따른 골밀도 변화에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Change of Bone Mineral Density(BMD) by Life Habit and Physical Condition)

  • 목 적: 성인들의 생활습관인 음주, 운동, 흡연 등의 유무와 골밀도와의 관계를 분석 해보고 연령, 성별, 신장, 체중, 체질량지수 등과 골밀도와의 상관관계를 알아보고자 한다. 대상 및 방법: 2006년 2월부터 4월까지 건강검진을 받기위해 우석대학교 한방병원을 내원한 321명을 대상으로 양 에너지 X-ray 골밀도 측정기(DEXA, DPX-IQ, Lunar. co)를 이용하여 대퇴경부 및 척추의 골밀도를 측정하였다. 결 과: 대상자중 남성은 160명 여성은 161명이었고 평균연령은 $45.10{\pm}11.54$세였다. 남성에 있어서 대퇴 경부의 골밀도는 20대에서 가장 높았고 척추는 40대에서 가장 높았으며 60대에서 대퇴경부와 척추의 골밀도가 가장 낮았다, 여성에서는 40대에서 대퇴경부와 척추의 골밀도가 가장 높았고 60대에서 대퇴경부와 척추의 골밀도가 가장 낮았다. 대상자들의 신체조건에서 신장과 체중이 클수록 골밀도가 높았다. 남성은 음주 및 운동, 흡연유무에 따른 집단별 비교에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았으나 여성은 음주집단이 비 음주집단에 비해 대퇴경부 및 척추의 골밀도가 유의하게 높았다(P<0.01). 결 론: 이는 건강한 직장인들이 건강검진을 받고자 내원한 사람들이 대부분이기에 위와 같은 결과가 나온 것으로 생각되며 앞으로 모든 성인들의 연령증가에 따른 골다공증의 위험으로부터 예방하기 위하여 골밀도에 영향을 미치는 다양한 요인들을 찾아서 많은 연구를 하고자 한다.

Case - control study 를 이용한 유치원 원아의 비만관련요인 연구 (A case - control study of diet related risk factors for obese preschool children)

  • This study was undertaken to evaluate the relation between obesity and dietary life of children aged 4-7 divided into two groups based on height for age, weight for age and weight for height. Controls were selected based on sex and age similar with those of cases. Cases and controls were selected using the combination of weight for height, weight for age and height for age by the World Health Organization standard. Cases were 23 children judged as obese. Controls were 37 judged as normal. Whether their mother had a job or not, showed relative risk 1.35(95% C1 0.32-5.64). In obese group, employmental statue of mother was 17.4% compared with 13.5% in control group. In mother's concern for cooking pattern, the relative risk was 5.64 and 95% CI was 1.70-18.66 in the item of "We consider the color arrangement when we serve foods" which was the highest rate. The item having the lowest relative risk was "We cook the meal by ourselves with spending time" which of the relative risk was 0.52 and 95% CI was 0.16-1.65. The item having a great significance in the dietary habit of subjects were "They beat the tablewear with the chopstick"(RR:1.64, 95% CI:0.22-12.73) and "I talk with food in my mouth"(RR :1.11, 95% CI:0.39-3.15), and the other items didn't show significancy. Number of food eating per day for male was 30.0$\pm$10.93 in obese group where as 23.2$\pm$9.80 in control group. 22.3$\pm$4.56, 21.8$\pm$10.91 were taken obese group and control group respectively in female. In the survey for general habit in life, the item of "We has a time for conversation with our family regularly" was high correlation to obesity and item of "We made our children change clothes and go to toilet themselvesj has slight relation to obesity. From above, we observed normal and obese children had different factors such as mother's attitude for preparing meals, table manners and habit of living. So we should take a continuous interest in children's dietary life in order to correct the wrong dietary habit and to protect from future problems.

일부 대학생의 지각된 스트레스와 구강 악습관과의 관련성 (A Study of the Relation of Perceived Stress to Oral Parafunctional Habits in University Students)

  • 본 연구는 전라북도에 소재한 5개 대학교에 재학 중인 1~4학년 남녀 대학생 396명을 대상으로 스트레스가 측두하악장애에 영향을 미치는 구강악습관과의 연관성을 파악하고자 실시하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 구강 내 악습관 정도에 '수면 시 한쪽으로 누워 잔다'가 가장 빈도 높은 구강 악습관으로 나타났으며 그 외에 '카페인 음료를 즐겨 마신다', '손이나 물건으로 턱을 괸다', '음식을 한쪽으로만 씹는다' 등이 높은 순으로 나타났다. 일반적 특성에 따른 스트레스를 살펴본 결과 성별에 따라서는 학교생활 문제, 자신 문제, 경제적 문제에서 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 학년에 따라서는 스트레스 중 자신 문제만이 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 요인 간 상관관계를 알아보기 위하여 실시한 결과 지각된 스트레스 중 학교생활 문제, 자신 문제는 구강 악습관 점수와 유의한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 일반적 특성 및 지각된 스트레스가 구강 악습관 점수에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보기 위하여 다중선형회귀분석을 실시한 결과 성별, 학년, 주관적 구강건강 상태, 학교생활 문제로 인한 스트레스, 자신 문제로 인한 스트레스가 유의한 변수로 나타났다. 본 연구결과 대학생의 구강 악습관과 스트레스는 유기적으로 관련을 맺고 있으며, 측두하악장애에 영향을 미치는 구강 악습관이 해결하기 어려운 구강문제임을 인식하고 구강 악습관에 대한 적절한 구강보건교육과 예방이 필요하다. 또한 스트레스 완화를 위한 노력으로 규칙적인 운동 및 식생활을 하며 개인의 특성에 맞는 스트레스 해소 방법이 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

고지혈증 수진자를 위한 전자메일 교육 프로그램 개발 및 적용효과 (Development of E-Mail Education for Hyperlipidemia Health Check-up and Application Effects)

  • Purpose: This study was to monitor the effects of forming desirable eating and exercise habits and change the blood lipid levels by developing and applying E-Mail educational programs for a hyperlipidemia health check-up. Method: The research design used a nonequivalent control group pre-post test. Ninety-nine subjects (Exp.=50, Cont.=49) were selected randomly and the male subjects agreed to a hyperlipidemia health check-up at a comprehensive medical screening center. This study verified validity and reliability through factor analysis on a life habit measurement tool. The data was analyzed with SPSS win 12.0 using an $X^2-test$, t-test, ANOVA and ANCOVA. Result: Eatingand exercise habit scores of the experimental group which were educated through E-Mails changed considerably more than that of the control group which was not educated. Total-cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol in the experimental group was considerably lower than that in the control group, but HDL-cholesterol increased considerably Triglycerides, however, didn't show change. Conclusion: An E-Mail educational program may be applied as a hyperlipldemia health check-up nursing intervention strategy.

영양상담이 유방암 수술환자의 영양상태, 식습관 및 영양지식에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Individual Nutrition Counseling on Diet and Nutrition Status of Postoperative Breast Cancer Patients)

  • This study was conducted to assess the effect of nutrition counseling for postoperative female breast cancer patients (N = 38). In baseline survey, we investigated the nutrition parameters by measuring anthropometric and biochemical blood index and assessing nutrient intake using recall method. Individual nutrition counseling was performed 3 times with 2 - 3 weeks intervals. Patients were offered nutrition information related to breast cancer and desirable life style after cancer operation. The effects of counseling program were assessed 2 month later. Of biochemical parameters, serum total cholesterol level was significantly reduced after nutrition counseling program. Nutrient intakes of postoperative breast cancer patients were generally below the RDA level at the baseline survey. After nutrition counseling, mean daily intake of total energy, protein, calcium were significantly elevated. Of dietary habit, meal regularity and control of portion size were improved and fruits and vegetables intake were significantly increased after nutrition counseling. Control of fatty food intake and alcohol drinking were significantly improved after nutrition counseling program. Score of general nutrition knowledge and knowledge about breast cancer, were significantly increased after nutrition counseling from 2.1 to 3.2 and from 2.3 to 3.8, respectively. It can be postulated that the dietary habit and nutrients intake of postoperative breast cancer patients can be improved by individual nutrition counseling program. In further study, the systematic group nutrition counseling program is needed.

경북지역 일부 초등학생의 비만도에 따른 생화학 검사치와 식습관 (The Differences of Biochemical Status and Dietary Habits according to the Obesity Degree among Obese Elementary School Students in the Gyungbuk Area)

  • The prevalence of obesity in children has steadily risen during recent years in developed countries. Child obesity has become a major concern to health providers since it has grown to epidemic proportions over the past few decades. This study was conducted to investigate the biochemical status, dietary habits and life styles according to the obesity degree among obese children residing in the Gyungbuk area. The subjects were 148 elementary school students (boy 103, girl 45) and classified as mildly obese (n = 56), moderately obese (n = 61) and severely obese (n = 31) by the obesity index. The average body weight and height increased significantly according to the obesity degree (p < 0.05, p < 0.001). Serum cholesterol concentration came under the normal level in all groups. Serum AST activity increased according to the obesity degree but it was not significant. Serum ALT activity increased according to the obesity degree (p < 0.05). Dietary habit score was lower significantly according to the obesity degree (p < 0.01). Life style of the subjects was significantly different for the level of 'healthy state (p < 0.05)', 'body perception (p < 0.01)', 'watching TV and video (p < 0.05)', 'normal sleeping hour (p < 0.05)' and 'degree of stress (p < 0.05)' according to the obesity degree. A positive relationship between obesity index and blood pressure, ALT has been shown in the subjects. Obesity index and dietary habit scores were negatively associated. Therefore, these results suggest that a practical nutrition-exercise education program for the prevention of child obesity should be provided to elementary school children. 외식업체에서 성인의 스트레스 및 식습관을 고려한 메뉴 개발 필요성에 관한 기초연구 (A Basic Study of the Needs for Menu Development Considering Stress and Eating Habit of Adult in Restaurants)

  • Menu-development is one of the important parts in restaurant business. Menu in restaurant has to be developed by customer's net which is the key for the success in restaurant management, The purpose of this study is to determine stress level, food intake, food habit, food preference of employees in certain companies and to develop proper menus for employees who are under high stress state. This study also determine whether the customers under stress will visit restaurant which provide stress-release-menu or not This study was conducted to people who live in Seoul and its adjunct area, including Gyunggi Province. The subjects were selected at random and the Questionnaires were sent to the subject by mail. The surveys included personal information, extent of stress, food habits related to the stress. The statistical tests were performed with SPSS computer software program. The male subjects were $44.9\%$ and females were $55.1\%$, aged between $30\~40$ years old. The percentages of no risk, borderline, and at risk, in the stress level of subjects, were 48.3, 16.5 and $35.2\%$, respectively. Most of the subjects, $61.8\%$, had normal food habit and $29.2\%$ had bad food Habits. The ideal costs of meals were $3,000\~5,000Won$ for breakfast$(57.3 \%)$, $5,000\~10,000Won$ for lunch$(54.7\%)$, and $10,000\~20,000Won$ for dinner$(38.2\%)$. Subjects under high stress answered 0 need a dietary supplementation for stress release. This study also showed that $92\%$ of the subjects under stress were willing to visit restaurants which have stress-release menus. In conclusion, adults who are under stress are shown to be interested in stress and nutrition management and they are willing to visit restaurants providing stress-release menus.

  • 본 연구는 제15차(2019년) 청소년 건강행태 온라인조사 자료를 통해 청소년들의 식생활에 따른 구강건강 증진행위와 구강증상과의 관련성을 연구하고자 한다. 연구결과 하루 칫솔질 횟수는 식생활 모두 유의하였고, 에너지음료, 식습관교육경험은 구강건강증진행위와 모두 유의하였으며, 구강보조위생용품은 과일, 채소의 섭취, 실런트 경험은 과일, 패스트푸드, 채소의 섭취, 스켈링 경험에서는 과일섭취, 구강보건교육 경험에서는 과일, 탄산음료, 패스트푸드, 채소의 섭취가 유의하였다. 구강증상에서는 외상은 과일, 탄산음료, 패스트푸드, 통증과 출혈은 에너지음료, 패스트푸드, 채소섭취와 식습관교육경험, 구취는 과일, 에너지음료, 채소섭취와 유의하였다. 따라서 청소년들의 구강건강증진행위와 구강증상의 관리를 위해 식생활이 고려되어야 한다.

Structural Conservation and Food Habit-related Liver Expression of Uncoupling Protein 2 Gene in Five Major Chinese Carps

  • The full-length cDNA of grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idellus) and silver carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix) uncoupling protein 2 (UCP2) was obtained from liver. The grass carp UCP2 cDNA was determined to be 1152 bp in length with an open reading frame that encodes 310 amino acids. Five introns (Intron 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7) in the translated region, and partial sequence of Intron 2 in the untranslated region of grass carp UCP2 gene were also obtained. Gene structure comparison between grass carp and mammalian (human and mouse) UCP2 gene shows that, the UCP2 gene structure of grass carp is much similar to that of human and mouse. Partial UCP2 cDNA sequences of bighead carp (Aristichthys nobilis) and mud carp (Cirrhinus molitorella), were further determined. Together with the common carp (Cyprinus carpio) UCP2 sequence from GenBank (AJ243486), multiple alignment result shows that the nucleotide and amino acid sequences of the UCP2 gene, were highly conserved among the five major Chinese carps that belong to four subfamilies. Using beta-actin as control, the ratio UCP2/beta-actin mRNA (%) was determined to be $149.4{\pm}15.6$ (common carp), $127.4{\pm}22.1$ (mud carp), $96.7{\pm}12.7$ (silver carp), $94.1{\pm}26.8$ (bighead carp) and $63.7{\pm}16.2$ (grass carp). The relative liver UCP2 expression of the five major Chinese carps, shows a close relationship with their food habit: benthos and detrituseating fish (common carp and mud carp) > planktivorious fish (silver carp and bighead carp) > herbivorious fish (grass carp). We suggest that liver UCP2 might be important for Chinese carps to detoxify cyanotoxins and bacteria in debris and plankton food.
