The study aimed to investigate the motivation and user satisfaction of medical school graduate students using specific academic information sites, and examines the effect of usage motivation factors on user satisfaction. This study was conducted from September 10, 2018 to September 21, 2018 by a large medical school graduate student in Seoul, and analyzed 135 valid responses. According to the analysis, the degree of reliability and interactivity of PubMed is higher than that of Google Scholar in medical school graduate students' use of academic information sites. It was found to have a significant effect on user satisfaction of academic information sites. In particular, convenience has the greatest influence on users' choice of academic information sites. The results of the study are of theoretical implications in that the discussion of academic information services through web sites is explained in terms of use and satisfaction in the context of medical information. On the other hand, specific research results provide practical implications for improving the services of medical-related academic search engines.

It's getting popularized to collect information connecting web sites with massive information through the internet and advanced search engines. Users can handle digital materials like E-book wherever the internet is available and they will demand digital information increasingly. This study analyzes literature investigation, statistics analyses of the attached library of Kyushu University, drawings and field investigation to suggest a new model of a library which handles traditional paper-formed materials and digital-formed materials at one place with growing importance of digital materials. It results that a library performs a important role like a learning space and functions as a sociocultural communication space. Also it shows that it is required to basically reinvestigate the role of 'space' in the library with a great importance of digital materials. In the hybrid library combined with subjects and reorganized at one place, One-stop services like library materials and manpower can be provided for users staying at the same area.

This paper aims to suggest new strategies for operating school library digital resource room by analyzing the current states of 349 school library digital resource room and its educational effects. The project for school library digital resource room provided the foundations for the various informational and educational services : extended information materials, changes in library environment, collecting information through the web sites, providing authentic materials, reading instruction, library assisted instruction (LAI). The suggestions are as follows. 1) The national standards is required for the digital resources room in school libraries. 2) Reading and information literacy instruction should be institutionalized. 3) Library assisted instruction (LAI) should be included in school curriculum. 4) Professionally qualified teacher librarians are required for planning and managing the school library. 5) School library in-service program is needed for all members of the school community.

This study aimed to analyze media reports of the Comprehensive Library Advancement Plan using big data analysis in order to determine trends and implications by period. To do so, related data from 2009 to 2017 were collected from major domestic web portal sites. Words in the collected data were refined through the text mining process and frequency, centrality, and structural equivalence analyses were performed. Results confirmed that, during the implementation of the first and the second phases of the Comprehensive Library Advancement Plan, the focus of the library policy changed from external growth to strengthening internal stability and advancement of library operation, and the media coverage were limited to specific policies such as expansion of library facilities. Findings from this study will serve as useful material for ascertaining the approach to perceive and understand the national library policy represented by the Comprehensive Library Advancement Plan.

The aim of this study is to explore the activities of public libraries in Korea about information divide issues. To do this, the web sites of 58 public libraries in Korea were investigated. On the basis of analysis, this study concluded that the activities of public libraries did not assist information have-nots, for example, people with disabilities, older adults, immigrants, rural residents and low income brackets and were insufficient to related guidelines of library services.

The forth edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (1994) provides documentation advice for writers in the social sciences. This style of citation briefly identifies the source for readers and enables them to locate the source of information in the alphabetical reference list at the end of an article. Although the APA publication manual gives recommendations for citing some kinds of electronic resources, it acknowledges that at the time of writing this edition, a standard had not yet emerged for referencing on-line information. Because the manual was published before the development of the Internet as we know it, it does not have guidelines for citing www sites, web discussion forum posting, and other Internet resources,. Therefore this study aims to extend the principles and conventions of APA citation style to electronic resources.

This paper is proposed a construction directions of digital Korean study center for Korean cultural and historical materials. It was reviewed and analyzed for findings construction directions in domestic and abroad Web sites such as The Academy of Korean Studies, National History Compilation Committee, Seoul National University and Tufts University in the USA. The paper was recommended and guided new research directions for the construction of the digital Korean study center, and suggested some findings through comparative analysis for the center.

CNG which was released as a substitute of the previous CAPI (Cryptography API) library from Microsoft is constructed with individual modules based on the plug-in architecture, this means CNG is exceedingly helpful in the cost of development as well as the facility of extension. On the opposite side of these advantages, considerations on security issues are quite insufficient. Therefore, a research on security assurance is strongly required in the environment of distributing and utilizing the CNG library, hence, we analyze possible security vulnerabilities on the CNG library. Based on analyzed vulnerabilities, proof-of-concept tools are implemented and vulnerabilities are verified using them. Verified results are that contents of mail, account information of mail server, and authentication information of web-sites such as Amazon, E-bay, Google, and Facebook are exposed in Outlook program and Internet Explorer program using CNG library. We consider that the analyzed result in this paper can improve the security for various applications using CNG library.

Nowadays the information environment enables users to access the traditional library collection as well as various digital information resources. In this rapidly changing environment, the use of digital information resources such as web sites, data, and homepages has increased. In this research, highly-cited authors' research outcomes as well as the research outcomes of the people, who cited the highly-cited authors' works, were extracted then compared with information stored in the medical colleges' digital libraries and the academic information portals in the clinical medicine area by using the citation information provided by Essential Science Indicators from ISI Web of knowledge. Out of 10,000 authors,146 people's homepages, which present research outcomes, were analyzed. The research outcomes listed in the homepages included journal papers, monographs, conference proceedings, and lecture notes. About 15% of the journal papers, 32% of the monographs, 48% of the conference proceedings, and 100% of lecture notes were accessible only through the homepages. The research outcomes accessible from the homepages were almost analogous to the ones available through the medical college's digital libraries and the academic information portals. Therefore, the digital library collection will be improved and expanded quantitatively and qualitatively by collecting and using the information in the homepages of the prestigious researchers.

Reference services have taken a central place in library and information services. But current digital libraries focus more on access to digital information, and hardly lay emphasis on the service aspects. This paper looks at the current state of research in reference services in digital libraries. It first analyses some representative definitions of digital reference services. It then provides a brief overview of the various online reference and information services currently available on the Web. The paper also reviews the types of the digital reference service in major 'Aska' service sites. Finally, the paper proposes new digital reference service model that specifically bases on the sharing of the human and information.
