뇌졸중 환자와 가족을 위한 웹 기반 뇌졸중 이차예방 교육 프로그램 개발 및 평가 (Development and Evaluation of a Web-based Education Program to Prevent Secondary Stroke)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to develop an e-Learning program that assists nursing students' clinical Purpose: This study was conducted to develop and evaluate a web-based education program for secondary stroke prevention. Methods: A web-based secondary stroke prevention education program was developed using the system's life cycle methods and evaluated by comparing the effects of education among three groups, a web group, a booklet group and a control group. Results: Knowledge level of both patients and family, as well as some health behavior compliance in the web-based and booklet education groups were significantly higher than those of the control group. Family support in the web-based and booklet education groups was significantly higher than that of the control group after 12 weeks. The urine cotinine level in the web-based education group was significantly lower than that of the control group after 12 weeks. Medication adherence, blood pressure and perceived health status were not statistically different among the three groups at any time. Conclusion: Webbased and booklet education programs were equally effective regarding the level of knowledge of patients and their families, family support, health behavior compliance, and urine cotinine level. These results demonstrate the potential use of a webbased education program for secondary stroke prevention.

메모리 상주 DBMS에서의 응용 트랜잭션 성능평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Performance Evaluation of Application Transaction in the Main Memory DBMS)

  • Recently, the Main Memory DBMS is gradually being expanded by the appearance of a large capacity of a Main Memory System, the increase in business area where it requires a real time process, and the rise of the users' required level. The Main Memory DBMS, which is able to go through a large capacity data process of the disk-based DBMS and guarantees a high efficiency, has domestically developed and has been put to a practical use. This paper presents an examination of the applied technologies and the limits of Altibase system, which is Main Memory DBMS. Moreover, it evaluated and performed a comparative analysis on the performance level of the Main Memory DBMS and the disk-based DBMS based on the same application. After five trials of the experiment based on the operating application, it was confirmed that the performance level of the Main Memory DBMS is enhanced and is higher by 4.13 to 7.89 times than the disk-based DBMS.

국가수준 학업성취도 평가의 성취수준별 정답률 편차에 따른 내용 영역과 행동 영역 특성 분석 (The Characteristic Analysis of Content Areas and Behavioral Areas Based on the Deviation of NAEA Achievement Level-Based Correct-Answer Rate)

  • 국가수준 학업성취도 평가의 결과 분석은 학교 현장에 교수 학습 측면에서 다양한 시사점을 제공해 줄 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 2009 개정 수학과 교육과정이 중학교 국가수준 학업성취도 평가에 적용된 2015년부터 2017년까지 3개년 동안의 국가수준 학업성취도 평가의 답지 반응 분포와 성취수준별(우수학력, 보통학력, 기초학력) 정답률 편차를 분석하였다. 우수학력 수준과 보통학력 수준, 보통학력 수준과 기초학력 수준 사이의 정답률 편차를 계산하고 편차의 누적백분율 제3사분위수 이상의 문항을 선별한 후, 내용 영역과 행동 영역은 무엇이며 이러한 문항들의 성취기준 및 특성들을 탐색하였다. 분석 결과를 토대로 성취수준별 교수 학습 방법에 대한 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) 기반 다중 안테나 시스템의 링크레벨 성능 분석을 위하여 실제 전파 환경과 유사한 특성을 갖는 Ray-tracing 방식 채널의 하나인 SCM(Spatial Channel Model) 채널을 구현한다. 3GPP & 3GPP2 Spatial Channel AHG(Ad-hoc Group)에서 시스템레벨 성능 비교용으로 제안한 SCM 채널을 링크레벨 성능의 비교 분석을 위하여, 본 논문에서는 시스템레벨 채널에 대한 채널 계수 및 파라메터들을 링크레벨 성능 비교용으로 변환하여 구현한다. 모의실험을 통하여 구현한 SCM 채널의 특성을 검증하고, 이를 이용하여 기존의 OFDM 기반 MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) 적용 시스템 및 스마트 안테나 적용 시스템에서의 실제적인 링크레벨 성능을 분석하고, 정확한 비교 검증을 위하여 SCM 채널과 동일한 파라메터를 적용한 I-METRA 채널 및 독립 채널 상황에서의 링크 레벨 성능을 함께 비교 분석한다. MIMO 및 스마트 안테나 적용 시스템에 대하여 여러 채널 환경에서 채널 상관도에 따른 링크레벨 성능을 분석함으로써, 채널 상관도의 영향에 따라 주어진 환경에 적합한 다중 안테나 시스템을 제안한다.

생식독성과 Benchmark Dose를 활용한 Endosulfan의 노출허용수준 산출 (Estimating Permissible Intake Level for Endosulfan Using Benchmark Dose based on Reproductive Tonicity)

  • A benchmark dose (BMD) approach has been evaluated us a replacement for the traditional NOAEL methodology currently being wed to assess the noncancer effects of toxicants. The endocrine disrupt-ing effect of endosulfan which showed decrement of sperm count and testicular testosterone level in animals, was currently reported. The amount of endosulfan used as pesticide in the country has been continuously increased. The aim of this study was to suggest the permissible intake level (PIL), corresponding to Accept-able Daily Intake (ADI), based on endocrine disrupting effect wing BMD. Various animal data were collected by consideration of critical effect showing endocrine disruption and an animal data for reproductive toxicity was selected. The Power model from BMD software for induction of $BMD_10$ having meaning which is the dose at the 95% lower confidence limit on a 10% response was used due to that the form of selected dose-response animal data was continuous data. The $BMD_10$ was estimated to be 0.393 mg/kg/day based on reproductive toxicity showing decrement of sperm count. The permissible intake level (PIL) was calculated by dividing the $BMD_10$ by the uncertainty factors of 100 with consideration of from animal to human and human variability. The PIL as 0.004 mg/kg/day was compared with traditional ADI as 0.006 mg/kg/day based on the incidence of marked progressive glomerulonephrosis and blood vessel aneurysm in males.

다단계 보안통제가 가능한 확장된 역할 기반 접근통제 모델 (An Extended Role-Based Access Control Model with Multi-level Security Control)

  • 역할기반 접근통제(RBAC:Role-Based Access Control)는 사용자의 역할에 기반을 둔 접근통제 방법으로 다양한 컴퓨터, 네트워크 보안 분야에 있어서 유연성을 제공한다. 그러나 역할기반 접근통제는 역할이나 허가 등을 적용하는 대상으로 사용자만을 고려하고 있으므로 실제의 응용 시스템 상에서 정확한 접근통제를 위해서는 사용자뿐만 아니라 주체 및 객체를 추가로 고려할 필요성이 있다. 본 논문에서는 다단계 보안시스템을 위하여 역할기반 접근통제 모델에 사용자, 주체, 객체, 역할에 대한 보안등급을 추가로 고려하여 확장된 역할기반 접근통제 모델 $ERBAC_3$를 제안한다.

다변량 통계분석을 이용한 서울시 고농도 오존의 예측에 관한 연구 (Prediction of High Level Ozone Concentration in Seoul by Using Multivariate Statistical Analyses)

  • In order to statistically predict $O_3$ levels in Seoul, the study used the TMS (telemeted air monitoring system) data from the Department of Environment, which have monitored at 20 sites in 1989 and 1990. Each data in each site was characterized by 6 major criteria pollutants ($SO_2, TSP, CO, NO_2, THC, and O_3$) and 2 meteorological parameters, such as wind speed and wind direction. To select proper variables and to determine each pollutant's behavior, univariate statistical analyses were extensively studied in the beginning, and then various applied statistical techniques like cluster analysis, regression analysis, and expert system have been intensively examined. For the initial study of high level $O_3$ prediction, the raw data set in each site was separated into 2 group based on 60 ppb $O_3$ level. A hierarchical cluster analysis was applied to classify the group based on 60 ppb $O_3$ into small calsses. Each class in each site has its own pattern. Next, multiple regression for each class was repeatedly applied to determine an $O_3$ prediction submodel and to determine outliers in each class based on a certain level of standardized redisual. Thus, a prediction submodel for each homogeneous class could be obtained. The study was extended to model $O_3$ prediction for both on-time basis and 1-hr after basis. Finally, an expect system was used to build a unified classification rule based on examples of the homogenous classes for all of sites. Thus, a concept of high level $O_3$ prediction model was developed for one of $O_3$ alert systems.

초저속 부호화를 위한 계층적 구조와 대조를 이용한 영역 병합에 의한 영상 분할 (Image segmentation based on hierarchical structure and region merging using contrast for very low bit rate coding)

  • In this paepr, a new image segmentation method reducing efficiently contour information causing bottleneck problem at segmentatio-based very low bit rate codingis proposed, while preserving objective and subjective quality. It consists of 4-level hierarchical image segmentation based on mathematical morphology and 1-leve region merging structure using contast of two adjacent regions. For two adjacent region pairs at the fourth level included in each region of the thid level, contrast is calculated. Among the pairs of two adjacent regions with less value than threshold, two adjacent regions having the minimum contrast are merged first. After region merging, texture of the merged region is updated. The procedure is performed recursively for all the adjacent region pairs at the fourth level included in each region of the third level. Compared with the previous method, the objective and subjective image qualities are similar. But it reduces 46.65% texture information on the average by decreasing total region number to be tansmitted. Specially, it shows reduction of the 23.95% contour information of the average. Thus, it can improve efficiently the bottleneck problem at segementation-based very low bit rate coding.

MPEG-7 기반의 의료영상 검색시스템 개발 (Developing a Medical Image Retrieval System Based on MPEG-7)

  • 현재 병원에서 사용 중인 PACS나 의료영상을 공유하기 위한 시스템들은 원하는 이미지를 검색할 때 환자에 대한 정보 등의 상위-레벨 메타데이터만을 사용한다. 이러한 검색은 환자에 대한 정화한 정보를 알고 있어야 검색이 가능하다는 단점이 있다. 의료영상 검색을 좀 더 효율적으로 수행하기 위하여 본 논문에서 개발한 시스템에는 현재 사용되고 있는 DICOM 기반의 상위-레벨 메타데이터들을 이용한 키워드 검색기능 이외에도 MPEG-7 기반의 하위-레벨 메타데이터들을 이용한 유사성 검색을 추가하였다. 그리고 두 가지 메타데이터들을 통합한 것을 검색조건으로 이용함으로써 보다 다양한 방법으로 의료영상 검색을 수행 할 수 있도록 하였다.

Finger Vein Recognition based on Matching Score-Level Fusion of Gabor Features

  • Most methods for fusion-based finger vein recognition were to fuse different features or matching scores from more than one trait to improve performance. To overcome the shortcomings of "the curse of dimensionality" and additional running time in feature extraction, in this paper, we propose a finger vein recognition technology based on matching score-level fusion of a single trait. To enhance the quality of finger vein image, the contrast-limited adaptive histogram equalization (CLAHE) method is utilized and it improves the local contrast of normalized image after ROI detection. Gabor features are then extracted from eight channels based on a bank of Gabor filters. Instead of using the features for the recognition directly, we analyze the contributions of Gabor feature from each channel and apply a weighted matching score-level fusion rule to get the final matching score, which will be used for the last recognition. Experimental results demonstrate the CLAHE method is effective to enhance the finger vein image quality and the proposed matching score-level fusion shows better recognition performance.
